The promises that were made to Abraham are ultimately to his SPIRITUAL descendents, not his physical descendents.

Romans 2:28-29 tells us that a Jew is one inwardly, whose heart is circumcised.
“For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh; but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter; whose praise is not from men but from God.”

Romans 9:6-8 says Abraham’s fleshly descendents ARE NOT the children of God.
“For they are not all Israel who are of Israel, nor are they all children because they are the seed of Abraham; but, “In Isaac your seed shall be called.” That is, those who are the children of the flesh, these are NOT the children of God; but the children of the promise are counted as the seed.”

Galatians 3:7 tells us that ONLY those who are of faith are the children of God.
“Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons of Abraham.”

Galatians 3:16 tells us that the seed of Abraham is Jesus Christ.
“Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He does not say, “And to seeds,” as of many, but as of one, “and to your Seed,” who is Christ.”

Galatians 3:28-29 tells us that followers of Christ (Jew and Gentile) are Abraham’s seed who receive the promises made to Abraham.

“There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”

Because God’s promises are to His spiritual descendents, Christians should not support the unbelieving leaders of the state of Israel.

Because Jesus doesn’t tell us to focus on the physical Jews or Israel, we should stay focused on supporting spiritual Jews, our family in Jesus. We need to pray for the true Jews to accept Jesus as their Messiah,

The Pentecostal movement within Protestant Christianity places continual emphasis on the individual, personal need of the Baptism, and the gifts of the Holy Spirit, as shown in the New Testament Biblical account initially on the Day of Pentecost. It’s proof that they have been both “saved” and “sanctified.” Pentecostals in generally rejected the belief of many fundamentalists that God had ceased to reveal himself directly to man. Pentecostal do belive that God speaks personally, individually to true Believers of Jesus Christ, outside of the Bible now as well. The charismatic movement in Roman Catholic and in the mainstream Protestant denominations represents the same spirit. Speaking in tongues is not universal among Pentecostal Christians still because many there too have still not received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, they are merely Pentecostal church adherents, observers. There’s been a little bit too much bad publicity lately. ‘Miracle-working’ evangelists seem to have the same hang-ups with adultery as the sinners who are going to hell. Veteran Charisma contributor J. Lee Grady, whose column “Fire In My Bones” is a regular feature, addressed the problem provacatively on August 4, 2010, with an essay entitled: “SAY GOODBYE TO THE UNTOUCHABLE PREACHERS”. Grady goes on to bemoan the fact that leading Pentecostal ministers are seduced by money and worldly lifestyles. He eventually served serious jail time.Many readers posting comments on Grady’s article make the same observation, as well as noting that the essay remarkably doesn’t ‘name names’. People suspect there might be an issue of ‘conflict of interest’ involved, since almost all of the big names in God’s TV world place huge ads regularly in Charisma magazine.

As long as we are alive and sentient, each of us still has time to repent, and to make reparation for our own sins and those of others. See how incredibly often St. Paul in his voluminous letters repeatedly warned Christians against committing sin. He would not have felt compelled to do so, if their sins could not exclude them from heaven. He would not have bothered. And he would have been much more popular, rather than being largely abandoned at the end of his life.

There is still a separation between appropriate speech and inappropriate speech, a separation between freedom of speech, expressing one’s views, opinions and the delivered, deliberate conscious propagation of hatred towards a specific group or person.

OTTAWA — A ruling from a Canadian Human Rights Tribunal member says a controversial law banning Internet hate messages is unconstitutional because it violates free speech protections. Athanasios Hadjis ruled Wednesday that section 13 of the Canadian Human Rights Act violates Charter protections. While this decision doesn’t throw out the law – that’s something for the courts – it did let accused hatemonger Marc Lemire off the hook, because Hadjis refused to penalize him or order him to stop posting his messages on the net. on his site. Lemire was accused of posting anti-Semitic and anti-gay material on web sites in a complaint brought by Ottawa lawyer Richard Warman. Warman has become an Internet watchdog for such material and the main section 13 complainant before the tribunal. He had asked for a cease-and-desist order against Lemire and a $7,500 fine. Canadian Jewish Congress was quick to call for an appeal of the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal member Hadjis ruling. “We strongly disagree with his decision not to impose a cease-and-desist order,” said Joel Richler, an honorary legal counsel to the congress. The congress said other tribunal members have found the section to be constitutional and the courts should be asked to clarify the matter.

The Ruling from a Canadian Human Rights Tribunal member says a controversial law banning Internet hate messages is unconstitutional because it violates free speech protections. Refrence the human rights act section 13.1, which says it is a violation to disseminate material on the Internet that is “likely to expose a person or persons to hatred or contempt” If the example is followed by other tribunal members, it could mean an end to section 13 cases. In a special report issued in June, the commission asked Parliament to change the law to eliminate the fines and provide a clear, legal definition of what constitutes prohibited hatred. The section has been controversial, with some claiming it spreads too wide a net. The Supreme Court of Canada has said legal action should be reserved only for the most extreme forms of hate. None of this in any way affects the hate-speech provisions of the Canadian Criminal Code which is completely different legislation, with higher standards of proof and evidence . Hate accusations can be also filed with the Canadian Human Rights Commission. If it finds them valid, they are then taken before the tribunal, which can order people to stop posting material on the web or impose fines of up to $10,000.

It is still up to the courts or the Human Rights commissions firstly to confirm, to define what is actually libelous, slanderous, a hate email message.. and someone’s else’s statement and opinions on the subject does not count. But to be on the safe side if you want to avoid court costs, ligation, if you are unsure if what you write is libel, slanderous, prosecutable better not post it on the net. Wrongfully accusing someone of posting a hate message or being a racists clearly can be challenged in courts as a hate message itself and prosecutable.

Note all of this really is a non brainer for any cyber bully who falsely believe that free speech allows them to say whatever they want personally against some else, individual, individuals, or a group .

I was really saddened to note that too many of the abuses I have witnessed were done by bad , greedy people trying to steal , them trying to get other people’s money for themselves, stealing the money, or getting it under false pretenses. The love of more money is still the basis of what many of the wrong doings is, was all about..

Many years ago some one had said that most marriage problems, divorce are over the issue of money.. some are, but many marriages break down are due to uncontrolled lusts of the flesh, and unforgiveness as well.. But I would agree that many problems amongst so called Christians, including church fights are often over over money, the control over it, and many professing Christians depart from the faith over the false lust for more money and what money can buy for them.

Abusing others is a common reaction of the carnal flesh and is brought on by many different reasons such as 1: unfulfilled lusts or 2: a spoiled child syndrome who tries to get their own way by whatever method it can 3: sibling rivalry 4: people who have no or little moral values, respect of others 5: one’s parental influence and upbringing..6: demon possessed persons, etc. The devil, demons and demon seduced persons, professing Christian persons falsely, wrongfully take false delight in slandering, abusing, bashing others and their evident fruits of hatred alone shows how false they themselves now are too. they clearly had, do manifest the opposite of the fruit of the Holy Spirit which is love. ,

Let me tell you we do not have to accept human rights abuse that is a lie of the devil.. in this world we have the same rights as the bully even the right to see that a bully is punished for abusing us.. An Ontario Superior Court judge has ordered a pair of website owners to turn over identifying information about eight people being accused of defamation after posting anonymous comments. Kershman cited a 2004 case that said privacy cannot be used to protect a person from the application of civil or criminal liability, and that privacy rights must be balanced against the rights of other interests and the public interest.He also cited a 2008 child pornography case, in which a judge ruled that a person’s name, address and the name of their spouse are not information that one would expect to keep private from the state under such circumstances.University of Ottawa law professor Michael Geist, said the court must ensure that a proper balance is struck between the rights of a plaintiff and the privacy and free speech rights of an anonymous poster. In order to do that, it must set a high bar for plaintiffs to meet in order to justify overriding the poster’s rights. Warman is in the process of suing the Fourniers, alleging they “falsely and maliciously published and circulated” information on the site that claimed Warman had posted hateful, racist words. It is still up to the courts or the Human Rights commissions firstly to confirm, to define what is actually libelous, slanderous, a hate email message.. and someone’s else’s statement and opinions on the subject does not count. But to be on the safe side if you want to avoid court costs, ligation, if you are unsure if what you write is libel, slanderous, prosecutable better not post it on the net. Wrongfully accusing someone of posting a hate message or accusing them of being a racist clearly can be challenged in courts as a hate message itself and prosecutable.

That reminds me there is one lying, slanderous message on the net about me by a poster who lied and said the police had came to my home cause I wrote a message, spam to the members of parliament and he needs to get his facts straight first, for that never had happened. For no police came to my home, and no police report exists in such a related matter. Writing to the news editors, elected representatives others who post their email address on the net is firstly not spam.. and the same poster now had lied about me and now he clearly can be sued too for slander, hate, etc., and his anonymity will not help cause his trademark name is well known already too.

An Ontario premier had sent the MUC police to my home though as detailed on the net, using my right of free speech and my right to be heard, but still no related charges were filed by the MUC police, I still continued to write to the same bad premier even openly on the net who himself even as a direct result next lost his reelection..

Me being a very prolific write on many topics, having about 30 web sites as well, I expect to step on some toes. In fact I often do encounter people who falsely try to intimidate me, obstruct and suppress justice, threaten to take me to court for my public exposure. Unlike each of you, my own mind did not know, comprehend beforehand what God has in store, had prepared for us, his requirements for us even to become a Christian, as well as to become Baptized in the Holy Sprit and much more..

” A few weeks back a young lady wrote me that she was confused about many things in Christianity and one of them being “speaking in tongues.” Due to the myriad of things that she was confused about, she wrote to a minister and one of the concerns she voiced to him was…

the Holy Spirit can’t dwell in you unless you speak in tongues…I just feel like crying cause it seems like I’m trying to follow God in vain. Who knows the truth any more?

The minister wrote back quoting Acts 1:7-8 (NIV) …

THE FIRST THING THE HOLY SPIRIT WAS GOING TO DO WAS GIVE POWER TO WITNESS, NOT SPEAK IN TONGUES. IT IS OK TO SPEAK IN TONGUES THOUGH, BUT IT ISN’T NECESSARY.

The following message is what the Lord has given me concerning Holy Ghost baptism and it being evidenced by speaking in tongues, which is foundational before the power is exhibited. Before reading this message, please pray that the Lord will give you spiritual discernment to recognize His truths in this message.

Our baptism is the one-true baptism “of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost” (Matthew 28:19). The one-true baptism is two-phased baptism as evidenced throughout Acts: (1) repentance/water, and (2) Holy Ghost fire and power, with both being based on our belief in Christ. The two phases of the one baptism “may” take place all at once, evidenced by speaking in tongues; or, they may take place at separate times, but with the second baptism always evidenced by speaking in tongues. The Holy Ghost baptism depends upon the heart of the person, which God looks upon before conferring. Both phases of the one baptism are written in the Acts of the Apostles.

When we heard the Word of God, received it, and believed, we repented and were baptized in the name of Jesus. (Baptized in the name of Jesus means we were baptized according to what Jesus preached, but the actual water baptism was “in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost” as Matthew 28:19 instructs.) When we received water baptism, we were “sealed” with the Holy Ghost like God set His seal to Jesus when He was here on earth in the flesh (John 6:27). This seal is God’s stamp of ownership on our lives – security, or a deposit, or a pledge.

Earnest in Greek is arrhabon	Part of the purchase given in advance as security for a pledge (meaning there is more to come)

In sum, being Born Again means being sealed with God’s private mark securing us from Satan outright snatching us from His hand before the rest of our purchase price is paid in full. The paid-in-full purchase price (to be chosen for eternal ruling and reigning with Jesus) is of course based on our walk with The Lord in true faith and obedience. (Once saved, always saved does not apply because it is unscriptural.)

Moving Toward Phase II Baptism – Fire/Power

the Spirit of truth . . . dwelleth with you, [Phase I – water baptism/ repentance – OUTER] and shall be in you [Phase II – Holy Ghost baptism/spirit, fire, power – INNER] (John 13:17).

The seal of God on us is His Spirit dwelling with us as Christ dwelt with the Apostles, which is sealing, and having been sealed with the Holy Ghost is not enough. We have got to want and be willing to be totally surrendered to God to be baptized in His precious Holy Ghost. This is how a Believer goes from glory to glory, and by no other means can this take place in our lives except through Holy Ghost baptism which is apart from water baptism. Without this, there is much difficulty in keeping sin out of our lives. Church, God has made the way for us all to “enter in and sup” with Him, and it is by going beyond the sealing when you first got Born Again. Again because the sealing is not the same as Baptism in the Holy Ghost. The latter is about power · power to enter into the spirit and worship God in spirit and in truth · power to witness about Jesus Christ · power to resist the enemy so that sin doesn’t reign in our mortal beings · power to do spiritual warfare to come through this life victoriously · power to do greater works than Jesus did (for the sake of The Church of Jesus Christ).

Keep in mind, there are two distinct phases of the one baptism in Christ. Jesus says in John 3:5 that “Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.” I repeat, water baptism is repentance, and spirit baptism is Holy Ghost fire and power. When we are truly Born Again (John 3:3), which is the Phase One baptism, there is a change in us that radiates on the outside of us, enabling all to see that something different has occurred in our lives. When we are truly Born Again, there is a new attitude towards The Lord Jesus Christ, toward His Word which becomes Spirit and life in us (John 6:63), making us, IF we will surrender, Believers who walk in of His Word. As one truly Born Again, we have a new attitude toward other Believers, toward prayer, toward life in general, toward death, and toward sin (hating it with a passion). When we are truly Born Again, dead to the old order in our lives – we start anew by not doing the things we used to do (nightclubs, alcohol, smoking, homosexuality, sex outside of marriage, winking our eye at sin around us, cheating, stealing, lying, and so on).

The Holy Spirit of promise is the Spirit of truth that first removed the scales of darkness from our eyes and unstopped our ears so that we could then see and hear The Lord and come to accept the Gospel of salvation – Jesus the Messiah. We heard about Jesus, believed what we heard, and gave our lives to Him, but this was just the beginning work of the Holy Spirit of promise that Jesus spoke of before His death – but not all. Now that we have been transformed from darkness (sin/the world) to light (Christ, righteousness/faith, holiness), the work of the Holy Spirit continues. The Holy Spirit of promise guides us into the truths of the Word of God that we are to accept and believe in full (not partial), and act upon by walking in His Word. In being Born Again, the Word of God begins to open up to us, which is the Holy Spirit of promise kindling a hunger and thirst in us to want to go higher – to want to really please The Lord by way of our faith and obedience unto Him. This is part of the process of going beyond the “sealing” because we feel the necessity for or have the need for, something more in our walk with God. This is when being able to worship Him in spirit and in truth comes in; it fills that “something more” in our walk with God – it supplies that hunger down inside.

The Spirit of Promise or Truth is with you

We have got to be totally surrendered for the “filling” to take place, and on top of that, we must ask for it. We cannot get Born Again and not accept all of God’s Word for today and think we have the fullness of the one baptism. “God ain’t stupid”!

We Have To Ask For It

After having been “called” (Born Again), we must successfully travel the distance through this world in holiness and righteousness in order to be chosen to possess the kingdom with Jesus. The Word of God down in us and prayer coupled with His Holy Spirit is our tour guide. If there was no difference between being “sealed” and being “filled” with the Holy Ghost, what was the need for Jesus to make the statement He did in Luke 11:10-13.

For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him (Luke 11:10-13)

Ask Him? Yes, the Holy Ghost baptism has to be asked for. It has to be asked for because it signifies the following:

(1) our seriousness in going on with The Lord beyond water;

(2) our seriousness in going on with The Lord in a state of absolute and total surrender to His will in our lives; and

(3) our seriousness in going on with The Lord in securing and using all the necessary weapons He has provided us to fight against Satan as we journey toward possessing the kingdom with Jesus.

To just be sealed with the Holy Ghost upon being Born Again and stopping there is why it is extremely easy for professing Christians to live no different than the World, or the unsaved. Stopping at the sealing makes it easy for one not to believe all of God’s Word and that it is for today as it was for yesterday. Stopping at the sealing makes it easy for one to spend hours before a television set or movie theater screen watching garbage that encourages them to want to, and in many cases, do commit sin. Stopping at the sealing makes it easy for one to get caught up in the world with idols, or their gods being money, food, success, cars, jobs, etc. – all placed before God. Stopping at the sealing makes it easy for one to accept false teachings in The Church and one’s spiritual life. Stopping at the sealing makes it easy for one to discriminate against people because of their race, color or creed, and think nothing of it, which is part of the reason for “Black Church,” “White Church,” and all other kinds of ethnic churches (barring those due to a language barrier). Stopping at the sealing brings one to commit sin that is never, ever tolerated by God under no circumstances. Stopping at the sealing inhibits one from bringing the flesh under subjection to the spirit, resulting in not walking as a True Believer, but as a phony, professing Christianity just because he/she says that Jesus is the Son of God. It was Stopping at the sealing that made it easy for so-called Christians to initiate and execute the Inquisitions, Crusades, slavery, segregation of races, and the Holocaust of World War II, to name a few atrocities committed in the name of Christianity. Holy Ghost sealing is not enough. There is more, and you must seek it out if you expect to live victoriously in righteousness and holiness as The Lord God requires. There is more to being baptized in Jesus Christ – more to being Born Again.

I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire . . . . (Matthew 3:11).

Fire is symbolic of God’s presence – God’s Holy Spirit and His power that He bestows upon the Believer. This is Holy Ghost baptism. John was speaking of Jesus Christ’s coming with a new baptism or an additional baptism. This baptism was far reaching beyond water baptism or repenting of our sinful ways. Sad to say, but that is where a lot of churchgoing people are yet stationed today. They are (1) lacking the power of God in their lives that enables them to minister unto God in spirit and truth (John 4:23); and (2) unable to resist the Devil, do spiritual warfare, and be vessels through whom God works miracles, signs and wonders during the last days harvest.

The Mark 16:16 description of a Believer is one who has been baptized in water (repentance) and fire (Holy Ghost baptism/power). This Believer believes all God says that He is, and will do all that He says He will do, yesterday, today and forever. This Believer is totally submissive to God – wants nothing to do with his/her own will, but God’s will is reigning in his/her life. This Believer is not just giving God lip service, but has earnestly given God his/her heart resulting in total obedience to Him. This Believer is known by his/her fruit. This is a “Spirit-filled Believer” who speaks in tongues, and not just a “Spirit-sealed Believer.” This Believer is Holy Ghost baptized – he/she went beyond just being Born Again.

Being that God knows them that would love Him from the beginning, God will only give His Holy Ghost to them that He knows will obey, and will be totally surrendered. If we have asked for, but do not have the Holy Ghost baptism that a True Believer must have, then surely it is our hearts that must be checked out for sin, and being self-willed is sin. Sin is the only reason God would withhold the Holy Ghost baptism from any one of us. We must ask ourselves if we have another god in our lives instead of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the Messiah; question our obedience unto The Lord. Matthew 26:41 tells us that the spirit is willing to obey The Lord but the flesh is weak, and flesh gives in to the world, the flesh, and the Devil. The flesh easily gives in because the Holy Ghost baptism is missing.

God does not change His mind “upstream” as man does. Be reminded of Malachi 3:6 which reads, “For I am the Lord, I change not.” God does not say something today and change His mind about it tomorrow. The reason He does not operate like that is because He sees tomorrow whereas we only see “now,” and He is immutable. When God says something, He means it. The Lord God made promises and He gave gifts to men that He will not rescind. The time has come when we must stop receiving those preachers, teachers, and whomever else sent with the word from hell telling us that we get Holy Ghost baptism (not evidenced with tongues) at the same time we get water baptism, and that Mark 16:16-18 is not for today. Renounce that in Jesus’ mighty name! God’s plan of salvation is not a one-step program without power (water and fire baptism all in one shot but yet with no power). If our hearts are just right at the time of repentance, which is possible, there can be a “two-in-one-shot baptism,” but that person will be speaking in their heavenly prayer language (tongues), and have fire and power in Jesus’ mighty name. A must! Glory to God!

We have got to believe God for everything and not just some of the things He has written to The Church. God gave this Holy Ghost baptism for us on the earth to have the love of Him in us as we experience joy and peace, and to experience the Kingdom of Heaven in our lives as well as the hereafter. Notice every time Jesus healed someone or delivered someone from demonic powers, He told them that the Kingdom of Heaven had come nigh them. That meant those people believed Jesus for healings and deliverances and believed the power of God operating in Jesus, the Son of God. That was an example to us of what God’s Holy Spirit is about. These and greater works Christ speaks of cannot be done without Holy Ghost fire baptism – power! Church, we have not been moving in the realm of spirituality as the Mark 16:16 Believer. For whatever ungodly reason, all these years we have been neglecting to do what was ordained by God for us to do. REPENT! Surrender! Believe all! We must ask for Holy Ghost fire baptism for our relationship with the Lord to be in the Spirit, and for His work to go forth in power. God gives it to them that obey Him (Acts 5:32).

Acts And Receiving Holy Ghost Baptism

The lie about “Speaking in tongues is of the Devil” goes back a long way. And yes, if we live for the Devil, then our tongues will be of the Devil. That lie could be expected from those that were getting away from Christ’s true teachings, and the early Church was doing just that when tongues began to cease in the Church. The early Church was becoming apostate because the Roman Church (Catholic) had begun to control the other church bodies in Asia Minor, when in fact no one has control over The Church of Jesus Christ except Jesus Christ Himself. It is believed that by the second century, speaking in tongues, or glossolalia, was a sign of stupidity when one went into this kind of ecstasy. The Church had begun to think like this because of its defection from the true teachings of Christ, which meant it was moving in the “flesh” and not in the “spirit” and therefore had no desire for spiritual things. Imagine that, the flesh calling God’s Holy Ghost baptism stupid or ignorant? It is that same way today. It is preached and taught by so-called Christians that “Speaking in tongues is of the Devil,” but it is “NOT SPEAKING” in tongues that is of the Devil.

Interjection: Brothers and Sisters in The Lord, let Him speak to your heart about Him meaning for today what He meant yesterday. Believe Him, and pay no attention to some dead preacher, teacher, seminary, or denomination trying to take you to hell with them because they don’t believe all of the Word of God for these last days. Do not receive their lies – go to the Word of God for yourself. Dearly beloved, God is trying to open your eyes to His spiritual requirements for you to possess the kingdom with Christ Jesus in the Millennium. God is doing this because He is so wonderfully loving and patient, and wanting what’s best for you. I beg of you, in the Name of Jesus Christ, believe The Lord’s Word written to you! Believe the Scriptures! It is all there, and it’s all there for a reason, and it hasn’t changed.

You! Listen Up! Acts Is Speaking To You

he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire… (Luke 3:16).

This fire is God’s electrical charge in the spirit of the Believer – baptism in the Holy Ghost – Holy Ghost power. This is God’s presence and the instrument of His power.

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses [the Word of God coupled with miracles, signs, and wonders] unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth (Acts 1:8).

This power is miraculous work through Jesus Christ for the Body of Christ/the Church to be witnesses of God’s existence and love. You, the Church, cannot be a true witness, especially during the end time harvest, without that “fire” that Christ baptizes with. Without it you are kidding yourself and you have been for a long time. “Playing church” is what you’ve been doing. (Being without Holy Ghost baptism is why the Body of Christ is in such deep apostasy and has been for hundreds of years, but super worse now.)

You must never forget that God cannot lie. What God said, He will do. “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good” (Numbers 23:19). Power to be a witness unto Jesus Christ comes by the Holy Ghost baptism and is clearly evidenced by speaking in tongues. If the Word of God is not true, then do not believe this, but if you believe the Word of God to be true, then repent of not having believed you need Holy Ghost baptism that is evidenced by speaking in tongues. Ask The Lord to help your unbelief so that you can have the necessary spiritual tools to (1) worship Him in spirit and in truth; (2) walk in true righteousness and holiness; (3) witness to the unsaved harvest; and (4) peacefully go through the fire during the days of The Great Tribulation. God’s Word is not a lie.

And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance (Acts 2:3-4).

These Believers had already received the Word of God and were baptized unto repentance (water baptism – the “sealing of” – dwelling with you), but had not yet received the “filling of” (shall be in you) or the baptism in the Holy Ghost – fire and power within you.

Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear (Acts 2:33).

That was Pentecost – God’s promise (to His people) of the Holy Spirit in action. This is the Gospel accompanied by the power of God. This is without a doubt, WHAT IS NOT GOING ON IN THE CHURCH TODAY, but should be. Pentecost should be until Christ returns. To truly be a witness through whom God works, you must have the power of God operating in your life, and that goes for both preacher and Sheep – the whole Body of Christ. This is life in the Holy Ghost. This is how one walks in the Spirit.

And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness (Acts 4:31).

Church, when you have this fire baptism, you are as bold as lightening. In the spirit, you are frank and confident in your witness – the Word of God spoken by you, piercing the innermost of a person. You preachers, especially, stop fooling yourselves by saying, “I’ve already got it. When I preach, people scream and shout.” Well, you don’t have it! Screaming, shouting, grunting, and moaning and groaning while preaching, is not the Gospel coming in power – separating the bone from the marrow, and with miracles, signs, and wonders demonstrated. It is simply screaming, shouting, grunting, and moaning and groaning. You don’t have it either, you in the pews screaming “Praise The Lord,” “Oh, Glory to God,” and jumping around as though the Spirit of God is really upon you, or maybe even shedding a bucket of tears. You don’t have it! You are a fake, and God knows that you are. That is why The Lord is in much grief over you. Yes, He is grieving over your brand of Christianity – polluted Christianity that is in no way acceptable to Him. Seek the real thing, Jesus’ Baptism in the Holy Ghost – boldness in the Spirit. It is vital! It is uninterrupted existence of Pentecost.

Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John: Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost: (For as yet he [Holy Ghost] was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus [water baptism/repentance].) Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost (Acts 8:14-17).

These people of Samaria had not been baptized with the Holy Ghost. They first heard the Gospel, believed and received it, repented and were baptized in the name of Jesus, which was the sealing with the Holy Ghost – Phase One baptism unto repentance. When the people of Samaria first believed, they were sealed with the Holy Ghost, but it was not until Peter and John went to Samaria and prayed over them that they received the Holy Ghost baptism as Verse 16 says (the Holy Ghost was not fallen upon any of them). The word “fallen” in the Greek is epipipto meaning seize. God’s Holy Spirit takes control of your life because you now have totally surrendered your will and His Holy Spirit is now in you, possessing you. Aside from wanting and asking for Holy Ghost fire baptism, it is imperative that you first be a broken and willing vessel with an obedient spirit as Acts 5:32 speaks of…

And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost whom God hah given to them that obey him (Acts 5:32).

God knows your heart, and your heart says all there is to be said about you. God knows when you have made Him first in your life and will obey Him. It is at that point that The Father and The Son gladly make their abode in you – Holy Ghost fire baptism, the second phase of baptism. Without it you are nothing in Christ and can do nothing. That’s right, you are nothing in Christ without it!

Church, dearly beloved in Christ, do not continue to sit under preaching and teaching that tells you “Acts is not for today.” Those very same preachers and teachers that do not preach and teach what the Word of God says are AGAINST God, and are responsible for the scattering of the sheep – putting the Saints to flight, flight from walking the way of life as God has ordained. Where there is no fire and power in the church body and the preaching, know that God’s Holy Spirit is not there. It is a sepulcher of dead men’s bones and not the house of God. “Ichabod” is written over the doorpost. Saints, get out while you still have the chance. Pray The Lord will lead you to a Spirit-filled church body, unpolluted, and where His Holy Spirit truly dwells – His anointing is, which is for the equipping and perfecting of the Saints. (You are the Saints of God – you that are alive and follow The Lord.) Come out of that death trap of a dead church body you are sitting in, for the Spirit of God is life, not death.

And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter, Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days (Acts 10:45-48).

You, dear Saint, Holy Ghost baptism is for you as it was for Peter and the early Saints. Without a doubt baptism is in two phases. It looks as though those Saints above got Holy Ghost baptism before the water baptism, and did so because God looked upon their repentant hearts and saw obedience in them. Baptism/circumcision in the heart must first of all take place. The hearts of those Saints were in deep repentance “before” and “without” water washing because the water itself is not what makes you Born Again, but true repentance before The Lord. (The water washing symbolizes sin washed away so that there is no condemnation of past sins that have already been forgiven. This is of no effect if there is no spirit regeneration.) This was evidence that the people had heard the Gospel of our Lord Jesus, repented and because their hearts were contrite, obedient, and had love for The Lord, they were baptized with fire as well. This also proves to you that you can repent and be baptized in your spirit without being washed in water first, and that is not to say one doesn’t need the water washing. God can do what He wants to do and He is showing you that here in Acts. There is no 1-2-3 way to getting it. Just BELIEVE, and believe that there are two phases of the one baptism in Christ and that you need them both. You need both to survive spiritually and physically in this world, and to be found faithful in the end.

And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples, He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost. And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John’s baptism. Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is on Christ Jesus. When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied (Acts 19:1-6).

These people had heard the Word, BELIEVED on Him who should come after John the Baptist, repented and were indeed baptized unto repentance (according to that which John preached). Later they were baptized in the name of Jesus (according to the Gospel Jesus preached), and because they were Believers of all of the Word of God, and with obedient spirits, which God saw, they were then baptized in the Holy Ghost as Paul laid hands upon them. Their Holy Ghost baptism was evidenced by tongues (prayer language) and the gift of prophecy. They were Mark 16 Believers. Church, if you have no “tongues,” you have no Holy Ghost, and don’t let anybody tell you otherwise. Seek it!

In Conclusion

Beloved, Paul repented of his sinful ways and got his sight back, and was filled with the Holy Ghost by the laying on of Ananias‘ hands. It was this Holy Ghost fire baptism that equipped Paul to do the great work of The Lord’s to the Gentiles. This same Holy Ghost fire baptism is a must for you as a Believer, to enable you to worship God in spirit and in truth, be faithful/righteous, be obedient, and live and work in the Kingdom.

Holy Ghost fire baptism is a must if Luke 10:19 is to be exercised in your life.

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy; and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19).

This is spiritual warfare that you have needed all this time, and will need even more during the horrific days to come. It is the Holy Ghost fire baptism that empowers you to engage in spiritual warfare. Remember, demons are spiritual enemies and as Believers, you have to deal with them in the spirit, daily. Yes, daily in your lives, for it is not just those faces you see that are being nasty and unkind to you, but it is the demonic spirits behind those faces. God’s solution for victory over demonic power is spiritual warfare, which can only be done in the spirit by way of having Holy Ghost fire baptism.

Jesus knew that His followers needed both authority and power to deal with the enemy, therefore His promises were not limited to the Apostles, but are also meant for The Church/Body of Christ – you, today. The authority you have comes through salvation and the power you have comes through the baptism in the Holy Ghost. They are inseparable – one baptism in Christ. There is just no other way, and do not let anybody tell you there is another way; for that person is a liar and has the enemy working through him or her to detour your walk toward possessing the kingdom.

If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him (Luke 11:13).

If there was no need for Holy Ghost/Spirit baptism in addition to being Born Again, this Scripture would not be in the Bible. If you automatically get this gift when you first become Born Again and it is not evidenced by speaking in tongues (according to Acts it is evidenced by speaking in tongues), why would you have to ask again? Remember, God keeps His promises and He also sees what is in your heart. Knowing that, with all sincerity, ask The Lord for this good gift enabling you to go forth as a True Believer and a powerful witnessing tool. Above that though, ask The Lord for this good gift so that you can worship Him in spirit and in truth, walk in righteousness and holiness, and be able to live a victorious life by resisting the Devil. Praise The Lord!

Holy Ghost Baptism

Father God, I thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus, and rescuing me from darkness. Lord, I surrender my absolute and total will unto You, now and forever, and want only Your will in my life from this moment forward.
(Take a moment here to reflect on and repent of those things and people in your life that you place first in your heart, but now willing to let go of and make God first in your heart.)
I trust Your will, Lord, because You are my Savior. You said in Luke 11:13 that if I ask You for Your Holy Spirit, You will give Him to me. Lord, please baptize me in Your precious Holy Ghost evidenced by my speaking in tongues so that I can worship You in spirit and in truth as is written in John 4:23-24.

God speaks to us in many ways today

Personal Humbleness is one of the basic prerequisite to allow God to personally speak to us. I know that many persons now tend to limit, cripple how God can speak to them, as only being through the Mind, through the Bible, only through others, or through circumstances.. well I also know that the devil can speak to you and me that way now too.. or he devil can send you a supposedly wise person telling you what you should do , what to do. and often rather making it a lot worse.

Although I had been a Christian for 15 years already. .I was 35 years old when someone said i could hear God speak to me and boy I was mad.. mad mad.. and I said it was all untrue.. I recognized next that the sprit of God was telling me not to get upset and that God would talk to me this evening, next I was to drive to my favorite spot where i loved to see the mountains views this evening a and which i did.. when i got there God told me to shut up and be quiet for 30 minutes first.. next he said for me to praise the lord.. which i did for 30 minutes.. and then i could hear God talking to me specially.. for about an hour.. he God next told me he had my life planned for me. Now from then on I have learned to talk with God, to pray to him, to share with him my needs, and to discuss them, as well as listen to what he says next..

Now I had send a birthday present my nephew and I had left a part of it out.. God told me I could send it in another Parcel, so next I had sent the other parcel next when I was subsequently told that the parcel was lost in delivery. This surprised me cause as why would God tell me to send it.. But a few weeks later I got a phone call telling me the parcel was found. it was still delivered.. Jesus said my sheep hear my Voice, and the Bible says that you will not go to the left or right unless you hear a confirming voice telling you this is the way walk there in.

Some people seem amazed that God can, and will now speak to his children, given the proper conditions being met, but me I am often amazed how is it that so many people cannot hear God, as to what un-confessed, un-repented of sins are obstructing their relationship with him now..

Believe it I do often hear God, Jesus, holy Spirit talking to me in an audible and in audible voices. It brings me great joy always now too.

God will speak to us

-but we also do need to write it down because our memories tend to be very short.
-and we need to share it with others next as well for as we sow more will be given back to us..

If you know beforehand the Bible well you will also know the reality of his revelations which will not contradict the Bible..

God’s voice. Elijah described it as a still, small voice (I Kings 19:12).I do always listen for an inner audible voice, and I say too “Speak lord for they servant is ready to hear”..- Doubt may eventually next hinder you at first, but throw it off, reminding yourself that it is a biblical concept, and that God is present, speaking to His children.- Don’t take your own way, yourself, or your own personal importance too seriously which is also a sin.. of pride, rebellion, stubbornness,

When you do, you become tense and get in the way of the Holy Spirit’s movement. It is also when we cease our labors and enter His rest that God is free to flow (Heb. 4:10). Therefore turn your attention toward God in praise and worship, seeking His face. As you wait before God, fixing your gaze solely on Jesus, in a humble state of mind and become all still before him, fixing your gaze on Jesus, God is present with you, you will become more real to you and you too will discover that you are indeed dialoguing with God.

How to receive revelation knowledge

An example of revelation knowledge is when you are reading the Bible and a verse leaps off the page, hits you between the eyes, and God says, “This is for you right now.” These are precious experiences for the believer. However, for many, they do not happen often enough. There are seven things I do which allow me the privilege of receiving revelation knowledge every time I read the Bible. Truth and insights leap off the page and an understanding of how they are to adjust my life permeates my spirit and soul. I love this experience and hunger for it every time I read the Scriptures. That is why I prepare myself by doing the following seven things. Prayerfully reflect on these steps and determine which ones you do and don’t use.

The Seven Steps of Biblical Meditation Explained:

1. LORD, CLEANSE ME BY YOUR BLOOD: Since receiving divine revelation is at the heart of biblical meditation, you must prepare yourself to receive from the Holy Spirit by repenting and being cleansed by the blood of the Lamb. You must be obedient to previous revelations from God (Matt. 7:6), and confess any sin in your life, so you are not cut off from ongoing revelation (Is. 59:1,2; I Jn. 1:9).

2. LORD, GRANT ME A TEACHABLE ATTITUDE: Revelation is given to those who maintain an attitude of humility, and it is withheld from the proud and the arrogant. So keep an open, humble attitude before God, allowing Him the freedom to shed greater light on any ideas you currently hold and to alter them as He sees fit (Jas. 4:6; II Pet. 1:19).

3. LORD, I WILL NOT USE MY FACULTIES MYSELF: You can do nothing of your own initiative but only what you hear and see by the Spirit (Jn. 5:19,20,30). You do not have a mind to use, but a mind to present to God so He can use it and fill it with anointed reason and divine vision (Prov. 3:5-7; Rom. 12:1,2). If you use your mind yourself, it is a dead work (Heb. 6:1,2).

4. LORD, I PRAY THAT THE EYES OF MY HEART MIGHT BE ENLIGHTENED: Slow down as you read, mulling the text over and over in your heart and mind, praying constantly for God to give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him (Eph. 1:17,18; Ps. 119:18).

5. LORD, I PRESENT THE ABILITIES TO REASON AND TO IMAGINE TO YOU TO FILL AND FLOW THROUGH BY YOUR SPIRIT: Meditation involves presenting your faculties to God for Him to fill and use. These include your left-brain reasoning capacities as well as your right-brain visual capacities. Look for the river of God (i.e. “Spirit flow”) to guide and fill both hemispheres, granting you anointed reasoning and dream and vision (Jn. 7:37-39). Music can assist you, as can muttering, speaking, and writing as you go through the discovery process (II Kings 3:15).

6. LORD, SHOW ME THE SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM I AM FACING: Focused attention brings additional energies of concentration of heart and mind, which help release revelation. For example, note the difference between a ray of sunlight hitting a piece of paper, and sunlight going through a magnifying glass to hit a piece of paper. The focused energycreates a ray so concentrated that the paper bursts into flames. When you have a hunger to master a new understanding and discipline, that hungry and searching heart will cause you to see things you would not normally see (Matt. 5:6).

7. THANK YOU, LORD, FOR WHAT YOU HAVE SHOWN ME: Realizing that the revelation came from the indwelling Holy Spirit, give all the glory to God for what has been revealed (Eph. 3:21).

Another Great Aid to “Seeing”: Writing Out Scripture

When you write or type out a verse, you discover words which you otherwise might have missed. Therefore, I write out verses which I know are key truths for my life. I pray over them, diagram them, analyze them, meditate on them. That is why I have written many of my books. I write so I can learn, so I can put truths I am understanding in my own words and in a framework which is meaningful for me.

The following is the law which God gave for new kings who had just been crowned and were coming to sit upon their throne for the first time: “Now it shall come about when he sits on the throne of his kingdom, he shall write for himself a copy of this law on a scroll in the presence of the Levitical priests” (Deut. 17:18). Since we are kings and priests, are we to do any less (I Pet 2:9)? Let us make the writing out of Scriptures an important part of our lives.

When we hear of one actually claiming to be able to hear the voice of God. However, we do not scoff, for several reasons. First, men and women throughout the Bible heard God’s voice. Also, there are some highly effective and reputable men and women of God alive today who demonstrate that they hear God’s
voice. Finally, there is a deep hunger within us all to commune with God, and hear Him speak within our hearts.As a born-again, Bible-believing Christian, I struggled unsuccessfully for years to hear God’s voice. I prayed, fasted, studied my Bible and listened for a voice within, all to no avail. There was no inner voice that I could hear! God set me aside for a year to study, read, and experiment in the area of learning to hear His voice. During that time, the Lord taught me four keys that opened the door to two-way prayer. I have discovered that not only do they work for me, but they have worked for many thousands of believers who have been taught to use them, bringing tremendous intimacy to their Christian experience and transforming their very way of living. This will happen to you also as you seek God, utilizing the following four keys. The key are all found in Habakkuk 2: 1,2. I encourage you to read this passage before going on.

Key #1 – God’s voice in our hearts may sound like a flow of spontaneous thoughts. ( confused also by the devil’s obstructions sometimes) Therefore, when I tune to God solely ( In prayer I first do ask the devil to stop talking to me, and I ask God alone to speak to me, God next he answers this prayer, I tune to spontaneity. The Bible says that the Lord answered me and said…(Hab. 2:2). Habakkuk knew the sound of can and does speak that way at times. How ever, I have found that for most of us, most of the time, God’s inner voice comes to us first as an interrupted spontaneous thoughts, visions, feelings, or impressions, (since we tend top have no room for god and often are busy pursing our own selfish, self centered ways and thoughts) . For example, haven’t each of us had the experience of driving down the road and having a thought come to us to pray for a certain person? We generally acknowledge this to be the voice of God calling us to pray for that individual. My question to you is, “What did God’s voice sound like as you drove in your car? Was it an inner, audible voice, or was it a spontaneous thought that lit upon your mind?” Most of you would say that God’s voice came to you as a spontaneous thought.So I thought to myself, “Maybe when I listen for God’s voice, I should be listening for a flow of spontaneous thoughts. Maybe spirit-level communication is received as spontaneous thoughts, impressions, feelings, and visions.” Through experimentation and feedback from thousands of others, I am now convinced that this is so.

The Bible confirms this in many ways. The definition of paga, the Hebrew word for intercession, is “a chance encounter or an accidental intersecting.” When God lays people on our hearts for intercession, He does it through paga, a chance-encounter thought, accidentally intersecting our thought processes. Therefore, when I tune to God, I tune to chance-encounter thoughts or spontaneous thoughts. When I am poised quietly before God in prayer, I have found that the flow of spontaneous thoughts that comes is quite definitely from God.

Key #2 – I must learn to still my own thoughts and emotions, so that I can sense God’s flow of thoughts and emotions within me.

Habakkuk said, “I will stand on my guard post and station myself on the rampart…” (Hab. 2:1). Habakkuk knew that in order to hear God’s quiet, inner, spontaneous thoughts, he had to first go to a quiet place and still his own thoughts and emotions. Psalm 46:10 encourages us to be still, and know that He is God. There is a deep inner knowing (spontaneous flow) in our spirits that each of us can experience when we quiet our flesh and our minds.I have found several simple ways to quiet myself so that I can more readily pick up God’s spontaneous flow. Loving God through a quiet worship song is a most effective means for me (For God inhabits the praises of his people, his nearness is made more real, note II Kings 3:15). It is as I become still (thoughts, will, and emotions) and am poised before God that the divine flow is realized. Therefore, after I worship quietly and then become still, I open myself for that spontaneous flow. If thoughts come to me of things I have forgotten to do, I write them down and then dismiss them. If thoughts of guilt or unworthiness come to my mind, I repent thoroughly, receive the washing of the blood of the Lamb, and put on His robe of righteousness, seeing myself spotless before the presence of God (Is. 61:10; Col. 1:22).

As I fix my gaze upon Jesus (Heb. 12:2), be coming quiet in His presence, and sharing with Him what is on my heart, I find that two-way dialogue begins to flow. Spontaneous thoughts flow from the throne of God to me, and I find that I am actually conversing with the King of Kings. It is very important that you become still and properly focused if you are going to receive the pure word of God. If you are not still, you will simply be receiving your own thoughts. If you are not properly focused on Jesus, you will receive an impure flow, because the intuitive flow comes out of that upon which you have fixed your eyes. Therefore, if you fix your eyes upon Jesus, the intuitive flow comes from Jesus. If you fix your gaze upon some desire of your heart, the intuitive flow comes out of that desire of your heart. To have a pure flow you must first of all become still, and secondly, you must carefully fix your eyes upon Jesus. Again I will say, quietly worshiping the King, and then receiving out of the stillness that follows quite easily accomplish this.

Key #3 – As I pray, I fix the eyes of my heart upon Jesus, seeing in the spirit the dreams and visions of Almighty God.

We have already alluded to this principle in the previous paragraphs; however, we need to develop it a bit further. Habakkuk said, “I will keep watch to see,” and God said, “Record the vision” (Hab. 2:1,2). It is very interesting that Habakkuk was going to actually start looking for vision as he prayed. He was going to open the eyes of his heart, and look into the spirit world to see what God wanted to show him. This is an intriguing idea.I had never thought of opening the eyes of my heart and looking for vision. However, the more I thought of it, the more I realized this was exactly what God intends for me to do. He gave me eyes in my heart. They are to be used to see in the spirit world the vision and movement of Almighty God. I believe there is an active spirit world functioning all around me. is world is full of angels, demons, the Holy Spirit, the omnipresent God, and His omnipresent Son, Jesus. There is no reason for me not to see it, other than my rational culture, which tells me not to believe it is even there and provides no instruction on how to become open to seeing this spirit world.

The most obvious prerequisite to seeing is that we need to look. Daniel was seeing a vision in his mind and he said, “I was looking…I kept looking… I kept looking” (Dan. 7:2,9,13). Now as I pray, I look for Jesus present with me, and I watch Him as He speaks to me, doing and saying the things that are on His heart. Many Christians will find that if they will only look, they will see. Jesus is Emmanuel, God with us (Matt. 1:23). It is as simple as that. You will see a spontaneous inner vision in a manner similar to receiving spontaneous inner thoughts. You can see Christ present with you in a comfortable setting, because Christ is present with you in a comfortable setting. Actually, you will probably discover that inner vision comes so easily you will have a tendency to reject it, thinking that it is just you. (Invalid Doubt is Satan’s most effective weapon against the Church.) However, if you will persist in recording these visions, your doubt will soon be overcome by faith as you recognize that the content of them could only be birthed in Almighty God.God continually revealed Himself to His covenant people using dream and vision. He did so from Genesis to Revelation and said that, since the Holy Spirit was poured out in Acts 2, we should expect to receive a continuing flow of dreams and visions (Acts 2:1-4,17). Jesus, our perfect Example, demonstrated this ability of living out of ongoing contact with Almighty God. He said that He did nothing on His own initiative, but only that which He saw the Father doing, and heard the Father saying (Jn. 5:19,20,30). What an incredible way to live!

Is it actually possible for us to live out of the divine initiative as Jesus did? A major purpose of Jesus’ death and resurrection was that the veil be torn from top to bottom, giving us access into the immediate presence of God, and we are commanded to draw near (Lk. 23:45; Heb. 10: 19-22). Therefore, even though what I am describing seems a bit unusual to a rational twentieth-century culture, it is demonstrated and described as being a central biblical teaching and experience. It is time to restore to the Church all that belongs to the Church.

Because of their intensely rational nature and existence in an overly-rational culture, some will need more assistance and understanding of these truths before they can move into them. They will find this help in the book Communion With God by the same authors.

Key #4 – Journaling, the writing out of our prayers and God’s answers, provides a greater new freedom in hearing God’s voice.

God told Habakkuk to record the vision and inscribe it on tablets…(Hab. 2:2). It had never crossed my mind to write out my prayers and God’s answers as Habakkuk did at God’s command. If you begin to search Scripture for this idea, you will find hundreds of chapters demonstrating it (Psalms, many of the prophets, Revelation). Why then hadn’t I ever thought of it? (Or why have I refused to do it is the question too)I called the process “journaling,” and I began experimenting with it. I discovered it to be a fabulous facilitator to clearly discerning God’s”

Many academic scholars study the Bible and they still fail at it drastically.

A Study (My use of one part of one hemisphere of my brain)

1. Is nowhere endorsed in Scripture (II Tim. 2:15 is a mis-translation in the KJV Bible).

2. Is self in action (Humanism – a false god).

3. Is self using reason (Rationalism – a false god).

4. Results in wisdom from below – earthly, natural, demonic (Jas. 3:15). For example, reason caused Peter to be
at odds with the purposes of God (Jn. 18:10,11).

Study violates the following biblical principles:

1. Gal. 2:20 – I resurrect self, which no longer lives.

2. Rom. 12:1 – I am using my faculties rather than presenting them to God to use.

3. Is. 1:18 – I’m reasoning, rather than reasoning together with God.

4. Gen. 3:5 – I’ve fallen prey to the temptation of the Garden of Eden that “I can know good and evil.”

Meditation (Hebrew/Lamad) To murmur; to converse with oneself, and hence aloud; speak; talk; babbling; communication; mutter; roar; mourn; a murmuring sound; i.e., a musical notation; to study; to ponder; revolve in the mind; imagine; pray; prayer; reflection; devotion” (Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance*)

Meditation (God’s use of every part of both hemispheres of my brain as He fills and flows out through my heart by His Spirit)

1. Is endorsed 18 times in the KJV Bible.

2. Is God in action within the individual.

3. Is God granting revelation through the heart and mind which has been yielded to Him.

4. Results in wisdom from above – pure, peaceable, gentle (Jas. 3:17).

Meditation applies the following biblical principles:

1. Gal. 2:20 – I let Christ live through me.

2. Rom. 12:1 – I am yielding my outer faculties to the indwelling Spirit (to “flow” – Jn. 7:38).

3. Is. 11:2 When reasoning together with God, I receive a spirit of wisdom and understanding and knowledge.

4. Jn. 5:19,20,30 – I’m living as Jesus did, out of divine initiative, doing what I see and hear my Father doing. “

One of the most successful of Satan’s deceptions is the promulgation of the belief that he and his angels are not here on the earth, In Revelation 12:7-9 we read, “And there was war in heaven: Michael [Christ] and his angels fought against the dragon [Satan]; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.” Satan’s angels are the angels that he deceived into following him in his rebellion against God. Notice that Satan and his angels [devils] were not cast out of heaven to hell; they were cast out to the earth, which is where they are right now! Jesus says in Luke 10:18, “I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.” Revelation 12:12: “Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.” Additional texts which show that Satan resides on the earth are found in the book of Job. The story of the Garden of Eden is given in Genesis 2:8 through 3:24. There are only four persons mentioned: God, Adam, Eve, and the devil, Satan, who masqueraded as a serpent. Then, after Adam and Eve had been expelled, God stationed angels to guard the garden. “Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created. . . .” God therefore certainly did not create the devil, but He did create the perfect, holy angel who later became the devil. When God created beings with free will, He knew that sooner or later one of them would begin to experience pride and selfish ambition just as Satan did. If Satan had not been created, the experience that happened to him would have happened to another angel. Why God created beings with free will, beings who can disobey if they choose, The devil still walks on earth and reports to God. Job 1:7 says, “And the Lord said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.” Genesis 1:31 tells us that “God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good.” Everything was in perfect harmony with everything else. None of God’s creatures ever hurt another or made another unhappy. Where, then, did these obnoxious things come from? Where do the diseases from which mankind suffers come from? Why do animals and human beings hurt and kill one another now when they did not do this originally? Why does the lion eat other animals now instead of straw like the ox, as it did before? Consider the experience of the apostle Paul. A dedicated soldier of truth for the Lord and writer of many of the books of the New Testament, Paul had a physical infirmity. In 2 Corinthians 12:7, he tells us where his infirmity came from. “And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.” Paul says that his problem was from Satan. He also says that he was given the problem so that he would not become proud because of the abundance of God’s revelations to him. God revealed to Paul the whole truth concerning Satan’s rebellion, and it is easy to see that this privilege might have tended to make Paul proud. You see, God did not afflict Paul, but He allowed Satan to do so. Another text that shows that the devil is the cause of pain and suffering is Luke 13:11. “And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.” Here a woman is described who was paralyzed in a bowed-together position, probably with arthritis, for eighteen years. Did God do this to that poor woman and make her suffer for eighteen years? Of course not. God is the ultimate of love and kindness. In Luke 13:16, Jesus explains who did do this to the woman. “And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?” You see, Satan afflicted this woman just as he afflicted Paul and just as he causes sickness and suffering in our world today. Satan is the one who causes all disease and suffering in our world. The only hope we have of penetrating this wall of lies and deception which Satan has built around us is in the whole Bible, the New Testament included, the standard for truth in our world. Remember that God cannot lie. (Titus 1:2). First Peter 5:8 tells us to “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.” We get a further understanding of the extent of our deception in 2 Corinthians 4:4, which explains that Satan “hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” Proverbs 16:25 tells us that “There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” First Corinthians 2:14 says, “The natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him.” In Matthew 24:24 Jesus Himself warns that “There shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.” 2 Corinthians 11:14,15. “And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.”

The Latter Rain Movement also now is the Pentecostalism Biblical teaching that the Lord is pouring out His Spirit again, as He did at Pentecost, and equipping the Holy Spirit filled believers to do his will .

The term “latter rain” was first used early in the history of Pentecostalism, when David Wesley Myland wrote a book called Latter Rain Songs in 1907. Three years later, Myland wrote The Latter Rain Covenant, a defense of Pentecostalism in general.

Joel 2:23, “Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for He hath given you the former rain moderately, and He will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.”

Truthfully the “rain” in this verse is the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. The “latter rain” (the present end-times outpouring) would be greater than the “former rain.”

In 1948, a “revival” broke out in Saskatchewan, Canada, and the teachings of the Latter Rain movement were clarified. Those involved in the revival were convinced that they were on the verge of a new era, one in which the Holy Spirit would demonstrate His power in a greater way than the world had ever seen. Not even the age of the apostles, they said, had witnessed such a movement of the Holy Spirit.

Latter Rain doctrine includes the following beliefs:

– All the gifts of the Spirit, including tongues, are received through the laying on of hands

– All Christians can be demonized and do require deliverance

– God has restored all the offices of ministry to the Church, including apostle and prophet

– divine healing can be administered through the anointing with oil or the laying on of hands

– Our own praise and worship of God does usher God more effectively into our presence

– The women have a full and equal ministry role in the Church

– Eventually all denominational lines will be destroyed, and the Church will unify in the last days –

The International Coalition of Apostles headed by C. Peter Wagner is the most influential purveyor of the New Apostolic Reformation, a term coined by Wagner. This organization is really an extension of the New Order of the Latter Rain whose influences and mentors include William Branham, Franklin Hall, the Hawtin brothers, and more recently Bill Hamon, Paul Cain and the Kansas City Prophets. The doctrines of the Latter Rain have influenced most of the televangelists on TV today, and so have crept deceptively into many denominations. The main heretical teachings of the New Order Of The Latter Rain, as ruled in 1949 at the General Council of the Assemblies of God held in Seattle, were as follows: (1) The restoration of foundational apostles and prophets in the churches. (2) The teaching and promotion of a transferable impartation or anointing that are passed on “by” the laying on of hands “by” the will of man. (3) Confession and deliverance from sin to men. (4) The impartation of spiritual gifts by the laying on of hands such as the gift of languages for missionary service and other “ministry skills”. (5) The extreme and unscriptural practice of imparting or imposing personal leadings by the means of the gifts of utterance, “word of knowledge” or prophecy. (6) Distortions of scripture interpretations, which are in opposition to teachings and practices generally accepted among the Church. If you let any of preachers alone tell you what is the Gospel truth and what you should believe you likely will end up going to hell, since all preachers are imperfect men, and all men tend to still lie as well and too often still for various reasons too.

I serve Jesus and not mere man, and Jesus is always first for me. I thank God that while I as a sinner am still totally helpless to be delivered from my sins here one earth, but Jesus died for them and forgave them when I admitted them, asked for his forgiveness. Many people write half truths, these half truths still do not make liars into honest men..

So far nothing has caused me to change my views on the subject.

For clarification in discussion of the Latter Rain a distinction should be made between: *The Latter Rain Revival (1947-1952) *The Latter Rain Movement (1952-1960s) *Those persons next influenced by the Latter Rain.

Origin and Influences

The Latter Rain Movement had its beginnings in the years following World War II. It was contemporary with the evangelical awakening which was starting with Billy Graham at the forefront, as well as the Healing Revival with Oral Roberts, Jack Coe, and William Branham at the forefront. Although William Branham was never a part of the Latter Rain as such, he was revered by its leaders. It had in fact been a Branham meeting which triggered the start of the Latter Rain.

Several Pentecostal leaders of a small orphanage outside of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, after visiting the meeting got a vision for a different dimension of Christianity and began to fast and pray in search of it. Later that year, revival events occurred. News quickly swept across Canada and the United States, influencing many Pentecostal believers. (This explains why it is found in Western Canada.. where it competes directly with the Christian & Missionary Alliance Corporation too. The Western Canada Alliance Churches sadly are known for preaching Pentecostalism but not practicing, living it now too. See the many posts about the bad Alliance.

Because of its grassroots and unstructured nature, history may never know the breadth of its influence. As the revival itself died down after a few years, those who had been changed by the doctrine formed various groups which came to become known as “The Latter Rain (Movement)”. The following list includes some representative leaders of various branches, both past and present.

Founding Leaders

*George Warnock (who had been Ern Baxter’s secretary), wrote “The Feast of Tabernacles” which became very influential not only for its view of the feasts but for its approach to the Scriptures. One identifiable mark of those influenced by the Latter Rain is their spiritual hermeneutic. *George Hawtin and his brother Ern, were key in the early spread of the movement. They traveled widely, and as they traveled the spirit and influence of the Latter Rain caught on. *A. Earl Lee from southern California was one of the fathers of the movement in Southern California. He had previously been involved with Aimee Semple McPherson..

Mainstream Leaders

*Kevin Conner is a very influential Bible teacher who came out of the Latter Rain and who has taken the best of these new ideas and blended them with the more traditional hermeneutics. His approach has influenced such leading ministers as T.D. Jakes. Conner is in fact part of a larger movement known as MFI which represents perhaps the most theologically solid group to directly emerge from the Latter Rain. *David Schoch was a leader associated with this branch of the Latter Rain. The church he led is now known as “City At the Cross” in Long Beach, CA. They have a helpful article here [1] *Wade Taylor came out of the Latter Rain, and was mentor to Robin McMillan, pastor of the lead fellowship of Rick Joyner’s MorningStar Ministry, which itself is very reflective of a Latter Rain ideal. *Glenn Ewing and his son Robert Ewing from Waco, Texas. Among others, the Ewings trained Jim Laffoon, leading prophet for Every Nation.

Cult-like Movements

*John Robert Stevens and his movement “The Walk” are an example of a ministry which emerged from the Latter Rain but became cultish. Royal Cronquist was another well known leader in this group. Influential charismatic Francis Frangipane came out of Stevens’ ministry, leaving before it turned in a cult-like direction. *Sam Fife and his movement “The Move” are another example of a cultish movement which was associated with the Latter Rain *Bill Britton teaching about Jesus as a “sample” or “example” son is connected to the Manifested Sons of God Theology which was taken to theological extremes. *Maranatha Campus Ministries, an outreach to college and university campuses, was accused of being a cult because of its highly authoritarian structure. It dissolved in 1989, and many of its leaders regrouped later in the 1990s to form what is now Every Nation.

Contemporary Figures

*Bishop Bill Hamon from Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. Hamon has been very influential in the Charismatic movement, including being featured on the cover of Charisma Magazine. *Dr. Kelley Varner from South Africa has a teaching ministry which is Latter Rain based. *Charles Schmitt, pastor of the large Immannuel’s Church in Silver Spring, MD, was spent time in the Latter Rain.

Schools

*Elim Bible Institute in New York was the center of much Latter Rain activity. *Portland Bible College, where Conner formerly taught, is another example of a Latter Rain influenced school. *Pincrest Bible School in upstate New York. Founded by Wade Taylor and Bill Britton *Destiny Image Publications, while founded long after the Latter Rain, prints sympathetic titles by Joyner, Hamon, Taylor and others.

As the list above demonstrates, the movement itself should be distinguished from those whom it ultimately influenced. Some branches of the movement ultimately led to cult like groups, some parts of the movement remained orthodox and also true to Latter Rain ideal, and other parts of the movement moderated the doctrine and ultimately had positive effects on the Charismatic and Pentecostal churches at large.

Historically, some of the most ardent critics of the Latter Rain and its offshoot theology, the Manifest Sons of God have come from within the Pentecostalism. ( BUT THAT IS WHERE THE DEVIL WORKS MOST OFTEN TOO)

With time however, the Charismatic and Pentecostal movements, while rejecting the more extreme elements of the theology, have been greatly influenced by other aspects such as the “fivefold” ministry and the laying on of hands.

More recently, it has been those from Fundamentalist circles who have been the most severe critics of the Latter Rain, and have use various loose connections to the movement to paint everyone associated with a negative brush.

When its proponents brought the new doctrine into the Pentecostal Churches and in particular the Assemblies of God it nearly split the church. Leaders of the Assemblies of God were concerned that it glorified men among other things and pointed to the “ye are gods” as evidence of severe theological error. They were also concerned that the movement espoused a post-millennial rather than premillennial scenario of the “End Times.” In 1949 the Assemblies of God condemned the doctrine of the ‘Latter Rain Movement’ as heresy.( So what!)

The Latter Rain brought in a new focus on the spiritual elements of Christianity including personal prophecy and typological interpretation of Scripture. The term “Latter Rain” stems from Bible passages as Jeremiah 3:3 and 5:2, Joel 2:23, Hosea 6:3, Zechariah 10:1, and James 5:7. The idea of a “Latter Rain” was not new to the movement, but in fact was present from the earliest days of Pentecostalism, who believed at the time that return of speaking in tongues and the Baptism of the Holy Spirit marked the “Latter Rain” of God’s Spirit, near the end of history.

Beliefs

It is difficult to communicate the Latter Rain through reference to doctrine alone, because its most distinctive element is its spiritual atmosphere. Once one understands this basic point, it is easy to identify within the Pentecostal movement who has been impacted by the Latter Rain, and to what degree. Latter Rain proponents saw Pentecostalism as very dry in the post-war period, and in danger of slipping into a dry or mental formalism like many of their evangelical peers. When the Latter Rain hit the dryness was replaced with an almost hyper-spirituality, and the various doctrines lined up this basic idea.

* The latter rain. The movement derives its name from its interpretation of Joel 2:23. The outpouring of the Holy Spirit on Pentecost had been the “former rain” that established the Church, but the current “move” of the Spirit was the “latter rain” that would bring the Church’s work to completion, and culminate in the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, which was imminent. Although this doctrine in itself had been around since Parham and the early Pentecostals, the Latter Rain broke with the dispensationalism which had become entrenched in Pentecostalism. Whereas dispensationalism is a pessimistic premillennialism, the Latter Rain emphasized victory. This led to various expressions of victorious minded premillennialism and ultimately postmillennialism. Rather than just try and save a few souls before rise of the anti-Christ, the Latter Rain emphasized the Church as overcoming and victorious. This shift alone is extremely significant and can be seen behind the Word of Faith movement, as well as most branches of the Charismatic movement.

* Christian Unity. A major theme of the Latter Rain was unity among the believers, in the church service, in the geographic region, and at large. They taught that God saw the church organized not into denominational camps, but along geographical lines. They expected that in the coming last days, the various Christian denominations would dissolve, and the true church would coalesce into citywide churches under the leadership of the newly-restored apostles and prophets. This theme was recurrent among the Kansas City Prophets of the 1980s.

* Laying on of hands. Unlike mainstream Pentecostalism, which holds that the baptism of the Holy Spirit usually comes after prolonged “tarrying” or waiting for the Spirit, the Latter Rain movement taught that the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the gifts of the Holy Spirit can be imparted on one believer by another through the laying on of hands. This impartation was not given to the body at large, but to specifically selected or qualified leaders.

* The fivefold ministry. The Latter Rain taught that of the five ministerial roles mentioned in Ephesians 4:11 (apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, teacher), the foundational roles of apostle and prophet had been lost after the time of the first apostles, but God was restoring these ministries in the present day. This theme has continued to this day, and has been recently rebranded by C. Peter Wagner as the “New Apostolic Reformation”

* The Manifest(ed) Sons of God. Some leaders of the Latter Rain movement taught that as the end of the age approached, a select group of “overcomers” would arise within the Church. These Manifest Sons of God would receive the “spiritual bodies” mentioned in 1 Corinthians 15. They would become immortal, and receive a number of divine gifts, including the ability to change their physical appearance, to speak any language, to teleport from place to place, and to perform divine healings and other miracles. They would complete the Great Commission, spreading the gospel throughout the world, and at last usher in the millennial reign of Christ.
