We are all at WAR so act like it.

(2 Pet 1:2 KJV)  Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,  3  According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4  Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 5  And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 6  And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; 7  And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. 8  For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.  9  But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. 10  Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: 11  For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

We are all at WAR with the devil  so act like it. Real actions are still required on our part. Complacency, presumption, an ostrich approach are all unacceptable still too
(1 Pet 5:8 KJV)  Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
(1 Pet 5:9 KJV)  Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
(James 4:7 KJV)  Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
(James 4:8 KJV)  Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
(Mark 8:33 KJV)  But when he had turned about and looked on his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, Get thee behind me, Satan: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but the things that be of men.

RATHER BY  FAITH APPROPRIATE GOD’S EMPOWERNMENT  INTO  YOUR LIFE FOR THE HOLY,  GODLY, MIRACULOUS  LIVING AS FOUND IN THE SCRIPTURES

(John 15:5 KJV)  I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. 6    If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. 7   If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. 8  Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. 9   As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
 .
Just cause the preacher may say it is alright to take Charge of your life does not make it so, are you now taking Charge of your own life or are you letting  God to take Charge of his  life.
 .
(Jonah 1:2 KJV)  Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me. 3   But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD, and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD.
 .
Just cause the preacher says it is alright does not mean it is so… here is the truth, the reality still
1: Doing your own thing is still sinful, as Adam and Eve had found out  or
2: doing nothing good is also sinful as Jonas found out..
for we are not our own, we all are slaves of God, and we have to first obey him and do only what he says for us to do and not what the preaches say is alright.  (Acts 5:29 KJV)  Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.
 .
So do you read your Bible daily to fins out God’s instructions for you or do you easily still just do your own thing, that which is right in your own eyes.
 .
(Exo 15:26 KJV)  And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.
 .
(Deu 12:8 KJV)  Ye shall not do after all the things that we do here this day, every man whatsoever is right in his own eyes.
 .
(Judg 17:6 KJV)  In those days there was no king in Israel, but every man did that which was right in his own eyes.
 .
(Prov 12:15 KJV)  The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise.
 .
Troubled?

INSTEAD OF DWELLING WITH GOD IN HIS WORD AND HIS EMPOWERNMENT, PROMISES TO  US IN HIS WORD THE BIBLE  are you rather still looking at your circumstances, other people, friends, your surroundings, your resources, your needs, your problems or are you firstly looking at God?

(Prov 24:10 KJV)  If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.

Quite often I find myself counseling effectively, giving insights to  some really trouble senior persons who have found themselves in an unexpected negative situation and the do not know what to do about it, how it started or how to get out of it. I can often simply recognize these persons by their worried looks they manifest as they are walking around in circles,  prowling like a cat. They are trying to find some answers and solutions

Rule number one do not look to man for help… their answers are very very unreliable, distorted, inapplicable too often.. for example he went to the doctors for help and he still died..  rather first log on to God for help in a humble prayer, so first ask him what happened, what to do and where to go first.

– Secondly do not do your own thing nor be in a haste to do something personally without having first  a deeper understanding of the whole events. ” I am  troubled because I seem to have suffered a severe memory loss” . Likley caused by your depression or sleeping pills too.. or the lack of sleep, lack of food..

Unrealistic expectations and laziness can be another reasons you are unable to crawl out of the deep pit you find yourself in..

– Too many self centered persons go to extreme habits or improper, poor values as well that can now have a very serious negative effect on them too.. some people talk too much and do very little real listening still too,

– Or Karma, you now are reaping negative results for your negative personal works.. such as your past neglects, abuses, cheating, lying, slandering, stealing, alcoholism, adultery, etc., better to repent quickly.

(Psa 1:1 KJV)  Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2   But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3    And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

(Jer 12:4 KJV)  How long shall the land mourn, and the herbs of every field wither, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein? the beasts are consumed, and the birds; because they said, He shall not see our last end.

(Prov 24:6 KJV)  For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war: and in multitude of counsellors there is safety.

(Prov 24:8 KJV)  He that deviseth to do evil shall be called a mischievous person.

(Deu 27:16 KJV)  Cursed be he that setteth light by his father or his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen.

(Deu 27:17 KJV)  Cursed be he that removeth his neighbour’s landmark. And all the people shall say, Amen.

(Deu 27:18 KJV)  Cursed be he that maketh the blind to wander out of the way. And all the people shall say, Amen.

(Deu 27:19 KJV)  Cursed be he that perverteth the judgment of the stranger, fatherless, and widow. And all the people shall say, Amen.

(Deu 27:20 KJV)  Cursed be he that lieth with his father’s wife; because he uncovereth his father’s skirt. And all the people shall say, Amen.

(Deu 27:21 KJV)  Cursed be he that lieth with any manner of beast. And all the people shall say, Amen.

(Deu 27:22 KJV)  Cursed be he that lieth with his sister, the daughter of his father, or the daughter of his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen.

(Deu 27:23 KJV)  Cursed be he that lieth with his mother in law. And all the people shall say, Amen.

(Deu 27:24 KJV)  Cursed be he that smiteth his neighbour secretly. And all the people shall say, Amen.

(Deu 27:25 KJV)  Cursed be he that taketh reward to slay an innocent person. And all the people shall say, Amen.

(Deu 27:26 KJV)  Cursed be he that confirmeth not all the words of this law to do them. And all the people shall say, Amen.

(Jer 48:10 KJV)  Cursed be he that doeth the work of the LORD deceitfully, and cursed be he that keepeth back his sword from blood.

(Psa 4:5 KJV)  Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD.

(Psa 31:6 KJV)  I have hated them that regard lying vanities: but I trust in the LORD.

(Psa 40:3 KJV)  And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.

(Psa 115:11 KJV)  Ye that fear the LORD, trust in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.

(Psa 118:8 KJV)  It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

(Psa 118:9 KJV)  It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.

(Psa 125:1 KJV)  They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.

(Prov 3:5 KJV)  Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

(Prov 29:25 KJV)  The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe.

(James 4:2 KJV)  Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.

(James 4:3 KJV)  Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.

(James 4:4 KJV)  Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

(James 4:5 KJV)  Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?

(James 4:6 KJV)  But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.

Also

(Eccl 7:13 KJV)  Consider the work of God: for who can make that straight, which he hath made crooked? 14  In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity consider: God also hath set the one over against the other, to the end that man should find nothing after him. 15  All things have I seen in the days of my vanity: there is a just man that perisheth in his righteousness, and there is a wicked man that prolongeth his life in his wickedness. 16  Be not righteous over much; neither make thyself over wise: why shouldest thou destroy thyself? 17  Be not over much wicked, neither be thou foolish: why shouldest thou die before thy time? 18  It is good that thou shouldest take hold of this; yea, also from this withdraw not thine hand: for he that feareth God shall come forth of them all.
(Psa 149:6 KJV)  Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two edged sword in their hand;
 .
When we do a sacrifice of praise, a serious effort, cause it is not always easy to praise God when we are down,  we are allowing God into our life, we are giving God permission to deal with all those negative forces, circumstances surrounding our life presently.
 .
(Psa 4:5 KJV)  Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD.
(Psa 37:3 KJV)  Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
(Psa 40:3 KJV)  And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.
(Psa 73:28 KJV)  But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works.
(Psa 115:10 KJV)  O house of Aaron, trust in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.
(Prov 28:25 KJV)  He that is of a proud heart stirreth up strife: but he that putteth his trust in the LORD shall be made fat.
(Prov 29:25 KJV)  The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe.

Put these words into practice in your own life..

One of the funny things I find about real  life for me is that it is too often  still is periods of either feast or famine, of one having an abundance or one faces poverty, having an absolute minimum essentials.. one has too much work or not enough.. one has too little time or too much free time, or one can’t find the time to be alone, to rest, versus one has  too much solitude and the same thing applies to one’s friends..  one has loads of superficial friends, or a bare minimum of good, trustworthy friends. But when it finally comes to reality, the basics each one of us now still has to personally  live our own life, that includes taking power over the devil, taking power away from the devil by the name and blood of Jesus..
 .
(Eccl 5:19 KJV)  Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God.
(Eccl 6:2 KJV)  A man to whom God hath given riches, wealth, and honour, so that he wanteth nothing for his soul of all that he desireth, yet God giveth him not power to eat thereof, but a stranger eateth it: this is vanity, and it is an evil disease.
(Eccl 7:14 KJV)  In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity consider: God also hath set the one over against the other, to the end that man should find nothing after him.
(Eccl 7:15 KJV)  All things have I seen in the days of my vanity: there is a just man that perisheth in his righteousness, and there is a wicked man that prolongeth his life in his wickedness.
(Eccl 7:16 KJV)  Be not righteous over much; neither make thyself over wise: why shouldest thou destroy thyself?
(Eccl 7:17 KJV)  Be not over much wicked, neither be thou foolish: why shouldest thou die before thy time?
(Eccl 7:18 KJV)  It is good that thou shouldest take hold of this; yea, also from this withdraw not thine hand: for he that feareth God shall come forth of them all.
(Eccl 7:19 KJV)  Wisdom strengtheneth the wise more than ten mighty men which are in the city.
(Amos 3:10 KJV)  For they know not to do right, saith the LORD, who store up violence and robbery in their palaces. 11   Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; An adversary there shall be even round about the land; and he shall bring down thy strength from thee, and thy palaces shall be spoiled.
Thinking about God reduces distress, study finds

If you want to reduce your stress level and feel less upset, perhaps you should think about God. Investigators at the University of Toronto Scarborough found that when people think about God and religion, their brains respond in ways that allows them to react with less distress.

Stress, Religion and God

The physiological and psychological impacts of stress are well known and range from depression and anxiety disorders to gastrointestinal problems, high blood pressure, sexual dysfunction, hair loss, obesity, and diabetes, among others. Findings effective ways to help people cope with or manage stress, therefore, is an important goal.

Given that 85 percent of people in the world have some type of religious belief system, Michael Inzlicht, assistant psychology professor, and Alexa Tullet of the University of Toronto Scarborough decided to uncover what functions such beliefs might serve. http://www.emaxhealth.com/1275/reduce-stress-think-about-god

.

I am a slave to no man, or evil spirit . Jesus is the only commander I respect, know, follow now too.. Now I also do know some persons claim to be modern day prophets. God’s chosen leaders,  called by God, some even think they are supposedly God appointed rulers like king David was, even some confused members of my own family now too.. well they are always mistaken here too.

Repentance is in order

” Charisma magazine, the international American mouthpiece for the contemporary Pentecostal movement, is struggling with the image of Christian leaders in the marketplace these days.

There’s been a little bit too much bad publicity lately. ‘Miracle-working’ evangelists seem to have the same hang-ups with adultery as the sinners who are going to hell. Veteran Charisma contributor J. Lee Grady, whose column “Fire In My Bones” is a regular feature, addressed the problem provacatively on August 4, 2010, with an essay entitled: “SAY GOODBYE TO THE UNTOUCHABLE PREACHERS”. He starts out boldly making the obvious comparison between preachers and mobsters: http://www.charismamag.com/index.php/fire-in-my-bones/29039–say-goodbye-to-the-untouchable-preachers

Grady goes on to bemoan the fact that leading Pentecostal ministers are seduced by money and worldly lifestyles. This wasn’t even news 20 years ago, when the world saw Jim Bakker of PTL fame weeping as he was dragged off into a patrol car. He eventually served serious jail time. Many readers posting comments on Grady’s article make the same observation, as well as noting that the essay remarkably doesn’t ‘name names’. People suspect there might be an issue of ‘conflict of interest’ involved, since almost all of the big names in God’s TV world place huge ads regularly in Charisma magazine.

As long as we are alive and sentient, each of us still has time to repent, and to make reparation for our own sins and those of others. See how incredibly often St. Paul in his voluminous letters repeatedly warned Christians against committing sin. He would not have felt compelled to do so, if their sins could not exclude them from heaven. He would not have bothered. And he would have been much more popular, rather than being largely abandoned at the end of his life.

“If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.” 1st John 1:8
“For this is the will of God, even your sanctification…” 1st Thess. 4:3

To the bad preacher

THE ONLY MENTOR YOU NEED IS THE HOLY SPIRIT   AND NOT THE EVIL SPIRIT’S OR ALCOHOL

.

Not surprisingly many prideful people try to take the place of God in my life too, AND these imposters claim even that they have been chosen, designated by God to command over me, THAT  I am required into forced submission to their whims, desires , commands and teachings. But funny God now himself has not revealed those facts as well to me BUT  only to them. I put my trust in God and not in man..

.

I have had also now in the past  about 5 control freaks evangelical pastors and also many of my relatives  try to dominate, control me, all claiming that God has appointed them to these roles.. they all can dream on.   We all are to submit ourselves solely to  God, to Jesus and the Holy Spirit.. who guides us, leads us into all truth. Jesus Christ is still the head of the Church, Churches!

.

1 Pe 1:5  who by God’s power are protected through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

.

Now  you are even cursed if you are under any human covering but God.. There are any number of untold horrors that lurk for those who step outside God’s covering..   It is Jesus Christ that protects us.  We are protected by the Holy Spirit through faith.  There is no mention anywhere in scripture that submission to authority is required for spiritual protection. Demand for coverings are  a spiritualized protection racket,  an extortion scheme where some offer in return you their  spiritual “protection” services.

.
Even when people are mistreated and abused under the coverings they mostly will stay and endure because they are afraid of the false threats of  dooms that may  lie for them outside the covering of their church.  This fear driven manipulation does enslave people and do horrible things to people spiritually, mentally and emotionally. People grow in  healthy relationships built on trust and held together by real love but the enslaved persons  in authoritarian churches rarely experience this.

.

Any submission is reciprocal, mutual, based on one’s free will still.

.

Dictatorships anywhere are all still demonic.   God’s chosen leaders still cannot force any one into submission, for all submission is even mutual, voluntarily, willingly, unenforceable and all leaders are to be exemplary now firstly too and not rather HERE mere commanders or dictators    I know that this forced submission emphasis, demands are a false attempts by these overly perverse, ambitious, crooked persons, bad pastors and bad religious persons now included too, for these persons  and mere persons who do want now by such means to attempt to self prosper, to grow richer, to advance themselves over others still have  no good concerns for me. They are slave drivers.

.

Slavery was abolished a long time ago too.   Let me be very clear about that I am a slave to no man but to Jesus Christ himself, alone. I serve no man, especially any of the clearly foolish, perverted ones, and  I take orders from no man, I do not have to do what they desire or try to command me to do at any time too. No matter if they still do wrongfully think otherwise too. I am still only God’s slave  and not any man’s.

.

Bad pastors that I have too often encountered now main objective is to control, rule over even silence the flock through fear and intimidation. In this despotic, institutionalized church system where disloyalty to or disagreement with the pastor or leaders is viewed as the same as disobeying God. Questioning the pastor on doctrinal statements becomes equal to questioning God. After all, the Pastor is the authority, and authority is always right. These pastors even try to commit their objectors to mental institutions. Sadly in real life both God, Good and bad preachers coexist but presently the bad preachers seem to outnumber the good ones 2:1

.

God’s ideal of a real Church now would be where everybody was just one big happy family of brothers and sisters behaving in love ,  decency, honesty too… but even many homes, families do not have this and why? The devil, sin and self centeredness, false pride run the homes and many churches, church pastors now too. Prideful, ambitious, control freak, pompous Satan and his earthly followers do hate the way God has redeemed us from the curse of the Law (Gal. 3:13; 5:18 ) and hate us being freed, free in Jesus Christ, our blood-bought freedom too.

.

Satan is really delighted now to see all the enslavements, abuse , chicanery and robbery going on in his rather den of thieves masquerading as a true church or a house of God! When you’re about to be thrown out onto the street for lack of rent money, you just try to get one of those tithe-collecting tycoons to share with you the way the first century Christians did with those in need. Yeah, right, he’ll “PRAY” for you, that is, if you can get past his entourage of ushers.

,

Matthew 7:15, 16 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits

.

Eccl 10:7 KJV  I have seen servants upon horses, and princes walking as servants upon the earth. https://postedat.wordpress.com/2012/03/05/spirtual-abuse-by-the-so-called-christian-leaders/

.

All of the Loyalty should be to Jesus Christ alone, the Word of God! There is no hierarchy in the body of Christ, where every one has their own function, the apostles, prophets, pastor have a function, even the deacon has a function, the elders as a whole has a function. One member in the body of Christ is not more important than another. They all have a function. Romans 12:3-6 says, “ For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. Having then gifts differing according to grace that is given to us. Sadly the role of pastors and deacons in the churches today does not match the role of deacons set forth in the book of acts.

.

It seem many people still get the type leaders they deserve.. even mad ones.

.

Matthew 7:15, 16 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits…

Matthew 24:24, “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew greatsigns and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

2Peter 2:1, “But there were false prophets also among the people, Even as there shall be falseteachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, Even denying the Lord thatbought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

2John: 1: 7 “For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.”

1John 4: BELOVED, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Colossians 2:8 “Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.

2 Timothy 4:3,4 “ For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.

.

SATAN Wants You even today. The same very busy devil who haunts the Las Vegas casinos, Church Bingo Halls, Lottos,  who often even in churches  wears a nice suit and tie to look respectable enough to con you out of your money, with half truths too, and  with the false promises of earthly wealth in exchange for “your sacrificial gift.”   Wonder how  he got his suit too?  He wants also you, he wants  to  net you, to fleece you, and for you be diverted, to miss the boat, he does not want you on the straight, narrow path that next also leads to Heaven, rather he wants you on the broad path that  leads to hell.  He clearly does not want you to live by faith in God to look after you, rather he wants you to do your own thing, for you to look after yourself. Don’t trust God he says, trust in others, trust in the Apostate Church, and in the crooked preachers too, or trust yourself rather. Trust even the too often bad Preacher these days who first  Wants His Cut. He the preacher now also does wants to know  What’s in it for him? Preachers seem these days to be  always hollering about how everyone must submit to THEM, it is a one way enforced submission and not rather rightfully a voluntarily , reciprocal mutual one, and pay up, pay the  tithe , or they’ll roost in Hell for all eternity.  The same too often false PREACHERS who refuse to submit to others and to the whole   Word of God especially.
.
Telling the truth and sharing ALL the counsel of God as the  Apostle Paul did (Acts 20:27) can be very costly with the preachers losing not only control of the money but CONTROL over people’s lives,  and the false gratification it brings to their too often already swelled egos too.  Satan likes to have   the church members stranded in the Old Testament paying of the  of tithe that  next will be too often abused by the too often bad pastors now as well..
.
God took the initiative to have a great church by imparting His good Holy spirit gifts to all, these mostly Gentile converts now too.  But some how along the way these gifts and the related gifted men and women they have next too often been neglected, abused, distorted.. and many people these days in the churches even  need to be  he rescued them from these kidnappers.  Preachers too often also falsely say do what I say and not what I do.. especially not the bad things.
.
Go to the preacher for help and think you really are going to get it next? Often not now too unless you FIRST give money, your full “tithe” to Him?   the preacher’s palm firstly still  does even needs to be  greased with a lot of  money?  But don’t even expect the help to be real, valid next too.  I myself always prefer to go to God alone rightfully still and not any preacher. If your are laid off, sick, unemployed, poor and there just ain’t much money to be gained from you don’t expect to be welcome back to most churches these days, I mean social /Cultural/pride clubs, not really Churches.
.
Jesus himself did not live off the proceeds of tithes, So now why all the fuss over one or two isolated and misapplied verses ABOUT TITHING in Malachi 3?  I Tim.2:5 which states that there is only ONE Mediator between God and man, Christ Jesus. And not some other human being that must now accepts his direct representative, supposedly on God’s behalf.  And NOWHERE in the New Testament does God even authorize him to take up, spend  any of tithes in His Name. “Spiritual tyrants would demote us from our exalted place in Christ and relegate us to being tribute-paying peons who work and slave to build THEIR religious empires. The false Tithing preachers do radically alters our relationship with God, from being His child receiving His favors solely through His grace in Christ, to some hard-nosed “prosperity partnership” whereby God only dispenses answers to prayer in exchange for cold, hard cash. “

Prideful,  ambitious,  control freak,  pompous   Satan and his earthly followers do hate the way God has redeemed us from the curse of the Law (Gal. 3:13; 5:18 ) and hate  us being freed, free in Jesus Christ, our blood-bought freedom too. Satan is really delighted now to see all the enslavements, abuse ,  chicanery and robbery going on in his rather den of thieves masquerading as a true church or a house of God!  The devil and the too often bad pastor claim they knows what’s best for the flock  so they’d better not take their freedom in Christ too seriously. Satan laughs at the sheep being able to hear the Voice of the Good Shepherd for themselves (John 10:27) he would rather  would rather have them listen to some amusing preacher who perversely usurps the place of God the Father in their lives. These leeches also lay heavy burdens on  God’s sheep , heavy burdens God  never authorized!  Satan and his bad preachers continues to rob God’s people of their identity, self worth,  of BEING sons of God, made free in Christ, part of  the House of God.  “Instead, that honor is  bestowed on some multi-million-dollar cathedral funded by TITHES AND OFFERINGS (freewill offerings are fine when necessary to meet REAL needs like feeding the poor and for missions, etc). Satan would far rather get Christians obsessed with remodeling the “sanctuary” (an Old Testament term) to the point where they neglect the care of poor Christians (God’s TRUE house).

.

Admittedly, Christians must meet SOMEWHERE, and it might not be workable for the saints to assemble in private homes as they did in the First Century. But the local sheep shed must never be a white elephant on the backs of God’s people who are called to liberty. The REAL truth is the BODIES of God’s people ARE the real House of God (see I Cor.6:19).  Today’s tithing doctrine is an indigestible invention of carnal greedy religious wolves.  Tithing creates resentment and jealousy in the Body of Christ. Tithing turns smiley preachers into shiny-shoed tyrants  Don’t you think the good Lord has feelings too, and preachers oughta treat His property with respect? Through the Tithing Lie, satan has created a class system of cliques in what originally was a church knit together in the love of Christ, sharing and caring one for another AS EQUALS (Acts 4:34-37; 2 Cor.8:13-14). Those ancient Christians actually shared their possessions with one another. I can just hear some pious preacher yelling that today that means only SPIRITUAL possessions, and hands off HIS Ferrari coupe! ”  The devil just loves this division of haves and have-nots in the institutional church…and  the way I see it, life’s way too short to give credibility to the cold, dead institutional church by paying the tithe tribute to it  “

.

” When you’re about to be thrown out onto the street for lack of rent money, you just try to get one of those tithe-collecting tycoons to share with you the way the first century Christians did with those in need. Yeah, right, he’ll “PRAY” for you, that is, if you can get past his entourage of ushers. ” Who likely first will say your are poor cause you alone are at fault, are in sin or the lying, bad  preacher will say you did not give the money to me, you gave it to God and God alone now, next is the one who will pay you, help you.. such hypocrisy too.

.

Tithe givers and tithe  Collectors live high on the hog while the poor “pew Christians” struggle to keep food on the table, a roof over their heads.   (I Cor.12:5) Jesus clearly FORBADE the hierarchy (bottom-to-top pecking order) in His Body. He said in Matthew 23:8: But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and ALL YE ARE BRETHREN.  Early Christians gained a reputation among non-believers for loving one another and being charitable toward the poor in their midst.  But that is clearly now how it is these days, these days the privileged few “in ministry” fatten themselves at the expense of the struggling wage slaves out in the pews. Instead of being tenderly cared for by so-called shepherds, poor “pew Christians” get threatened that God’s gonna sick satan on them for failure to pay the preacher his cut before buying groceries and paying the rent.  Satan now loves to see their kids go hungry while poor Christian parents pay tithes “by faith”, sacrificing  the thin sliver of income left after rent, transportation and utilities are taken care of. God is NOT not at all pleased with any of such religious persons.

There are yes there now are still too many  false sheep who worship those too many crooked evangelical pastors too dressed in nice suits. Not trying to impress anyone, or showing off I next went to a new church dressed in my clean, regular daily clothes. I next too was surprised when no  one said hello to me nor did they great me, and a few services later this continued to happen. So I prayed about it and to my surprise God said they were harlots, prostitutes. Embarrassed at this revelation I decided I would fully proof for myself this was true. So next Sunday I put on a white shirt, tie, nice black pants, and a white sports jacket and most everyone said hello  to me. Incidentally the same thing happens to me on the bus as well.. Why?  Also the very same pastor of this professing Christian church dressed there in a nice suit who also did not talk to me as well was next charged with abuse, slander, lying, misappropriation of church funds, and was eventually fired. Now these days when I see these peacock members, deacons, ushers  strutting around church in their fancy suits trying to impress the others , it causes me to be sick to my stomach still. It would be better if they used the money rather to help the poor and needy in their own church.

.

Satan especially loves this one: Sons become servants who fearfully pay religious tribute, contrary to Gal.4:7 and Jesus’ own words in Matt.17:25-26 where He declares that the children are free (from religious taxation). Tithing severs us from the grace of God by substituting a performance-based relationship with God.  Tithing contributes to the destruction of one’s essential faith, all very much to Satan’s delight.  Tithing also clearly helps corrupt ministers to be led more astray by the lure of more earthly riches.   This tithing sheep-fleecing today firstly all amounts to spiritual fraud. lies, dissentions…

.

For we are Christ’s Royal Priesthood (I Pet .2:5,9)  and who are ALREADY seated with Christ in heavenly places (Eph.2:6) and these too often false preachers now would demote us from being freed, slaves of no man,  and also from being Royal priests before the Lord.

.
Deut. 12:32: What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: THOU SHALT NOT ADD THERETO, NOR DIMINISH FROM IT.
.
(Eccl 10:8 KJV)  He that diggeth a pit shall fall into it; and whoso breaketh an hedge, a serpent shall bite him.

(Eccl 10:9 KJV)  Whoso removeth stones shall be hurt therewith; and he that cleaveth wood shall be endangered thereby.
.

I have absolutely no doubt that many Canadian evangelical pastors included now are falsely lying, unacceptably misrepresenting the Biblical truth,  pressurizing, twisting the arms of members and adherents  to regularly tithe to their storehouse, to the Pastor’s benefit, so the pastor can live high on the hog now.

.

(1 Thess 2:2 KJV)  But even after that we had suffered before, and were shamefully entreated, as ye know, at Philippi, we were bold in our God to speak unto you the gospel of God with much contention. 3  For our exhortation was not of deceit, nor of uncleanness, nor in guile: 4  But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts. 5  For neither at any time used we flattering words, as ye know, nor a cloak of covetousness; God is witness: 6  Nor of men sought we glory, neither of you, nor yet of others, when we might have been burdensome, as the apostles of Christ. 7  But we were gentle among you, even as a nurse cherisheth her children:

Too often now the preacher still wrongfully tells the flock  he’s their sole, responsible spiritual daddy and thus he always does knows what’s best for them, so now  also they would  better not take their full freedom in Christ too seriously and next try to do anything without consulting, obeying the preacher in all things too..
 .
It is still not the preacher who is the head of the Church, Jesus Christ alone is, and it is still the Holy Spirit himself  who will lead and guide you into all truth.. for the preacher job rather firstly is to lead us to God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit.
.

When expounding the truth, the Bible the bad preacher often wears colored glasses it seems that say “What’s in it for me”, says the preacher too?

.

So long as the preacher wears a nice suit, no matter how or how much he paid for his suit he is a good preacher it seems

.

Many Preachers do seem count  on your ignorance of the Word of God  as they often do also try  convince you you’re way too dumb to argue with them, for  God has spoken to them directly on the matter, and if you challenge them they tend to ignore you or kick you out..

.

(1 Cor 11:3 KJV)  But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
(Eph 4:15 KJV)  But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
(Eph 5:23 KJV)  For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
(John 14:16 KJV)  And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
(John 14:26 KJV)  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
(John 15:26 KJV)  But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

Gal. 5:4: Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

.

The death of Jesus Christ   ushered in a new, and far better, covenant, making ALL OF the Old Covenant obsolete (Col. 2:20-22; Heb.8:13). Christians are not under the Law (Gal.5:18). The Law of Moses WAS, is a package deal.  If you TRY TO NOW “covenant with God” to keep tithing, or any part of the Law of Moses, you make yourself a debtor to do the whole Law (Galatians 5:3). and instead of bringing a blessing, the tithing could make you fall from the grace of God, which would bond you to the application of the whole law and thus falling from grace means you cease to rely solely on Christ’s Sacrifice of Himself for your sins next  to remain justified before a just and Holy God. You began your spiritual journey by faith and you also still do have to continue it by faith (Gal.3:3).  Any religious act, regardless of how “holy” it seems, performed to earn or keep salvation, likley now next would be a one-way ticket to hell! Tithing thus also is the stumbling stone to the modern churches.  Reliance on works of the Law is deadly, contrary  to the saving faith in Christ!

..

Gal.3:10: For as many as are of the works of the law are UNDER THE CURSE: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in ALL things which are written in the book of the law to do them (This includes such ordinances as circumcision, animal sacrifices, keeping the Sabbath, the Day of Atonement fast, letting your beard grow, covering every container in your house (Numbers 19:15)!
Verse 11: But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

.
Verse 12: AND THE LAW IS NOT OF FAITH: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.
Verse 13: Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

 .

“Preachers are committing   sin by adding Tithing on Wages, NOWHERE taught even under the Old Law!  Preachers latch onto the ten per cent figure because it seems like a good idea, regardless of what God thinks.  But they neglect the Israelites’ third-year tithe taken to feed the poor (Deut.14:28-29).  When was the last time any preacher ever told you to go buy a six-pack of Bud with some of your tithe money?  Why all the fuss over one or two isolated and misapplied verses in Malachi 3?  Why don’t preachers ever mention THIS tithing passage?  It’s in the Bible!  I didn’t put it there, so don’t blame ME!

.

Deut. 14:22 Thou shalt truly tithe all the increase of thy seed, that the field bringeth forth year by year.
Verse 23: And thou shalt eat before the LORD thy God, in the place which he shall choose to place his name there, the tithe of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the firstlings of thy herds and of thy flocks; that thou mayest learn to fear the LORD thy God always.
Verse 24: And if the way be too long for thee, so that thou art not able to carry it; or if the place be too far from thee, which the LORD thy God shall choose to set his name there, when the LORD thy God hath blessed thee:
Verse 25: Then shalt thou turn it into money, and bind up the money in thine hand, and shalt go unto the place which the LORD thy God shall choose:
Verse 26: AND THOU SHALT BESTOW THAT MONEY FOR WHATSOEVER THY SOUL LUSTETH AFTER, FOR OXEN, OR FOR SHEEP, OR FOR WINE, OR FOR STRONG DRINK, OR FOR WHATSOEVER THY SOUL DESIRETH: and thou shalt eat there before the LORD thy God, and thou shalt rejoice, thou, and thine household

.

Notice, tithed produce was sometimes turned into money (the ONLY context in which money is associated with tithing in Scripture), but money itself was not turned in as the tithe!  Instead, the tithing farmer or rancher only bought more food with it when he got to Jerusalem, some of which he consumed himself! Tithe-collecting preachers not only ADD TO what God commanded in His Word, they DIMINISH (take away) from God’s Word by forbidding us to go out and buy Bacardi Breezers with “tithe money”.  Old sluefoot is thrilled when money-hungry preachers tamper with the terms and conditions of God’s Law, because in Revelation 22:19 God promised to disinherit those who added to or subtracted from Scripture. When preachers say you can’t buy wine or strong drink with “tithe money” they’re actually taking away from Scripture!

.

I can just hear some pious preacher yelling that today that means only SPIRITUAL possessions, and hands off HIS Ferrari coupe!
.
Besides robbing god’s people of their blood-bought freedom from the Law, what OTHER victories does satan win through tithing on monetary wages, which is NOWHERE taught in all of scripture?   http://www.scribd.com/doc/4617708/Fasting-Tithing-Blessing-Bringers-or-Burdens

” The Law is NOT of faith. God  (see Isa. 64:6 to see what God thinks of our best efforts to behave). If you want to know what kind of curses can fall on people who fail to keep God’s Old Law perfectly, just read Deuteronomy Chapter 28!  Bereavement, sickness, deep poverty, mental distress, defeat in every area of life.  Things didn’t improve for us after I gave all my pennies to the preacher.  We had one run of bad luck after another and I wondered why God ignored my prayers for prosperity.  Now that I’ve dumped a lot of religious baggage out of my Christian life, Jesus is more precious to me and life is a lot sweeter. It gladdens satan’s evil heart to see the profound spiritual damage done to Christians through forced tithing. ”  http://banpreachergreed.tripod.com/

” The Lord would say unto a certain caustic-tongued preacher who has failed to grow in the knowledge of My Love: I warn you not to hurt My precious lambs out in the pews, or over the air.  You have taken liberties with the tender hearts of my beloved children, even those who cannot discern truth from error.  They stand in awe of you, and latch onto your every word. They are too afraid of you to question anything you say, for many of them are immature and not yet well-trained in the Word of God.

.

“Brother Bear”, you have allowed pride and presumption to enter into your life. You have even placed yourself as judge over My people who are suffering trials of deep humiliation, although I said in My Word: Who are you to judge another (Romans 14:4)? And, with the same measure you judge, you shall also be judged (Matthew 7:1-5). Repent of this haughty attitude, or I shall have to allow you to experience some of the same adversity you despise others for enduring.

.

You condemn as slothful the poor, even those who set their affections on things above and can truthfully say their inheritance is not of this world.  But I said “Blessed are ye poor, for yours is the kingdom of God (Luke 6:20).”

.

But you have reviled the poor (James chapter 2), although My Holy Word makes it clear that I have chosen the poor of this world Who genuinely love Me and rely on Me.  These people, so despised by you,  have been blessed with an extra measure of faith (verse 5).  Though poor in this world’s goods they are heirs of My eternal Kingdom.   Yet you lump them all together as leeches on society, worthless bums who produce nothing and “are just a drain on church resources.” You even take a grudging attitude toward keeping a church pantry for the needy and really think feeding the saints ought to be limited to “spiritual food”, although Jesus divided the loaves and the fishes for a huge crowd as an object lesson to teach them I care for the poor and the hungry. Your real concern is that “spiritual bread” costs less money to break to your flock than material bread.  But James said:  “What good does it do to speak a blessing over your needy brother or sister, unless you also demonstrate practical concern for their bodily needs (James 2:15-16)”?

.

You’re being inconsistent, aren’t you, Brother Bear?  You say spiritual food is more important, so preaching  the Word to hearts is a much more valuable task to the Kingdom of God than feeding  hungry mouths.  Still, you set at nought the spiritual contributions made by the poorer saints, just because they aren’t paid for serving the Lord in dollars and cents like you are. But their blessed deeds of devotion are infinitely more precious in My sight than filthy lucre is to you. My Son gave His all to enable people to render such service to Me.

.

I have  saints nation-wide and worldwide who are poor in this world’s goods but rich in good works, and already have treasure laid up in heaven. They pray for your ministry, among others.  A few of them even fast, and when these humble souls do eat, their food isn’t nearly so fine as yours. Some of them sing in the choir, or help out in the nursery. Some teach Sunday School, or visit the sick.  And you’ve got the gall to categorize all poor people as worthless bums!

.

You lambast your people for their overindulgence in fine food and other luxuries.  Yet you look down on   casually dressed folks and say they don’t have enough self-respect to “dress for success” to help them focus on becoming “prosperous”.  Just what do you mean by that?

.

Most likely you would even have despised My appearance, for I was not so smartly decked out as you.  And guess what?  I supplied the wine for a very  special party, and even sampled some of it  myself.  I was accused by ascetic religious leaders of being a “winebibber and a glutton”.  I consorted with harlots and publicans, and, most shocking of all,  I wore a beard and sandals, definitely not in keeping with your code of “conservative values”. You would indeed have considered Me, the Son of God, just another lazy hippie bum  because the day came when I quit toiling in  My carpenter shop and became an itinerant preacher who went forth to spread the Good News of the Kingdom of God, living strictly by faith in  My Father’s provision. You would call Me irresponsible because I quit My secular job before I had saved sufficient funds  to finance My ministry for the forthcoming fiscal year.

.

And what would you have thought of John the Baptist?  With his humble garment and shaggy hair, he was hardly an advertisement for your “success gospel”, which the church borrowed from the world to conform the church TO the world!  That unpolished prophet would have been whisked out of your air-conditioned, sanitized sanctuary before he got a word in edgewise.  Rather than preaching the Gospel of Get he said: “Let those who have food or extra clothes share with those who have none.”  Jesus told the rich young ruler to “sell all that you have and give to the poor.”  THEN, “come, follow me.” Neither Jesus nor John ever  jetted around in champagne luxury to tourist traps, such as you’ve done in the past.  Instead of saddling their congregations with a burdensome mortgage in the name of “Christian commitment”, they held church under the open sky.

You roar against the worldliness of the saints,  but what is more worldly in My sight  than to Christianize the most lucrative of the world’s values?  You worship at the altar of monetary prosperity.  You condemn adultery, pornography, and juvenile delinquency, but what about covetousness?  Don’t you covet the “firstfruits” of other people’s paychecks, and compete for first dibs on what your “targeted donor pool” sets aside for TV ministries?  And then you turn round and lampoon poor people for “living below their privileges”.  You contemptuously view such souls as unworthy of My Love.  You think just because they’re struggling financially  they must be suffering My punishment for sin in their lives. Just what do you demand of them? What do you think they must do to live on a par with their so-called privileges? Become just like you, a man  whose angry  face and angrier tongue belie your pleasurable circumstances?

.

People on public assistance are one of your favorite targets.  Leeches on society, you call them. Welfare queens. People looking for an easy ride! But look at yourself, with all  your shameless appeals for money, money, money, and ever more money. Your kind are the biggest welfare recipients of all, but it’s respectable because you do it in the name of “God”!!

.

You commit yourself to exorbitant purchases “for the kingdom of God”, then go crying and begging on TV, expecting your “partners in ministry” to bail you out of a debt you incurred without first consulting them.  Have you ever once tried the same tonic you prescribe for others, tightening your belt and “being a responsible steward”?  Must your ministry always run on the latest technology, or are you just keeping up a prosperous front? Why not just postpone your next luxury cruise to the Lands of the Bible, or make your old suit do an extra year? How about a little macaroni and cheese instead of all those fancy restaurant meals? It won’t kill you! How about driving a used car to make it easier to catch up on your bills? Won’t a cheaper watch tell you it’s time to start your service? I am no respecter of persons. I think religious opportunists fishing for funds in fancy attire have much more to apologize for than jobless  people in faded denims!

.

Now the shoe’s on the other foot!  How does it feel to be on the receiving end of correction for a change? If you think you’re above being reproved through My humble mouthpiece, you are failing My test of humility and need to seek My forgiveness for pride as well.

.

How dare you treat My precious children like scavenging dogs!  You have never once walked one mile in the shoes of the people out in the pews!  No,  not since the days of your youth; especially  not since your rise to nationwide prominence as an “expositor of the Word of God”!

.

What practical use do you make of your Bible?  You wave it above your head to show your underlings who’s boss, then you glare menacingly at them and lay into the “laity” (a man-made distinction in My Body).  You turn the House of the Lord into one  vast woodshed to beat My poor people who must struggle from  paycheck to paycheck so you can skim the  “tithes” off their gross income, plus offerings.  That amounts to bondservice to you, their rich overlord.  Many of them cede to you at least one-seventh or one-eighth of their after-taxes take-home pay BEFORE they even put food on their own tables to feed their own families!  How does THAT square with My teaching that I would rather have mercy than sacrifice! And even though I never ONCE commanded New Testament saints to tithe on money, you threaten them with My retribution if they don’t!

.

Have you ever once really gotten to know one of your poorer listeners, either in your palatial sanctuary or out in TV Land?  Do you even know how ordinary folk live, or has your affluence blinded you to the way  everyday people must  struggle to survive?  Do you know what it is to set aside your own well-being and carry the sorrows of the afflicted, like the Good Shepherd does?  More than one of your listeners has suffered devastating health problems, or is struggling to raise children alone as a single parent. Many a poor woman cries herself to sleep at night because she’s lost her husband to death or divorce, or perhaps the fellow has run away from his responsibilities as husband and father, and has left her to carry the whole load alone. She dreads the bills the morning mail may bring.  She wonders how she’ll ever meet her rent and child care expenses, how she’ll keep her lights on, how she’ll put food on the table or buy decent school clothes. Her life is a wearisome treadmill. She wonders how long her stamina will last, until the day comes she is too sick to work and might become homeless or destitute. Are you going to call such precious souls lazy just because satan has sent the devourer to sap their physical and financial health and strength?

.

Once I heard you bellowing:  “There’s twelve hours in a working day,  six working days, and 72 hours in a working  week!  Get to work!” You looked mad, but my, you enjoyed that. But how hard do YOU work, privileged one? I don’t see YOU slaving at a secular job 72 hours a week, Brother Bear. And when people do put in very long working hours, you gripe about how they  neglect their marriages and their kids and fail  to spend “quality time”  with them. Are you so poor at math that you can’t subtract your ideal working week from what’s left? Do YOU have lots of time to be with YOUR family, or are you a slave to the clock; someone who hates his monotonous way of life but who is expected to drag himself out of bed half-rested, then work two jobs.  Why?  Well, it isn’t cheap to  maintain that image of “prosperity” you demand of people.  Some NEED an extra paycheck in order  to  “tithe” on the first one and still have enough money to pay spiraling rent on an apartment which is barely lived in.  It’s just a spot for the slave to crash for a few short hours before a screeching alarm clock rings and  the same old grind starts again!

.

You really think money should come with great difficulty for everybody else except  those “in ministry”.  After all, grueling toil is the price tag for being descended from sinful Adam and Eve.  But you’re just as sinful as anybody in your congregation, and deep inside you know it, Brother Bear. Still, you have no qualms about enjoying YOUR fine clothes, YOUR perks, YOUR regular jaunts (first-class, of course) to the Holy Land to “get closer to Jesus”. But all you want is to go there to get a religious buzz.  How can you get to know Jesus better  if you refuse to see Me in the faces of the poor who fill your pews, or in the aching weariness of the tired grey masses trekking home each night from their very unglamorous jobs?

.

No, I don’t see YOU swinging a hammer or waiting on cranky customers in restaurants, or driving a bus. I don’t see YOU sitting up all night with a sick child before having to go to work early the next morning. Rather,  I see you pleading over the air to “prove God” by sending in your best offering, and you’ll gladly  reward the givers with a cheap trinket to say “thank you” for your “love gift to Jesus”.

.

How demanding you are, like Pharaoh. He reached the point where he demanded his slaves go find their own straw to make bricks with, and doubled their quota too.  You wouldn’t be bothered by some young mother being so overburdened by long working hours she scarcely has time to see her children. You don’t care if some  elderly woman  skips a couple of meals to “save your ministry”. My people are mortgaged to the hilt, and harnessed to the expenses of your ministry.  They can’t be everywhere at once, yet I hear you bellowing about  their lack of service “to the Lord”, their reluctance to get involved in church activities and personal evangelism.  I hear you whining about how the saints are “at ease in Zion”.

.

But if anybody’s at ease, it’s you and other “shepherds” who fleece the flock.  You hypocrite!  Any wise shepherd  will let his animals wear their own wool in the winter to keep warm, so they won’t perish from cold.  But you are cold-hearted enough to fleece My flock at all seasons, regardless of the sad shape they’re in.  You couldn’t care less about their sorrows.  You’re like one of those Simon Legree slave drivers of the Old South who  refused to provide medical care and proper food for his slaves, reasoning that it was cheaper to wear out a slave and replace him, than to waste resources to care for him.  You know that when people get fed up enough to stop coming to your services, other trusting souls who don’t know any better will take their place out in the pews!

.

Your sour face masks the enjoyment you get out of your  ministry of meanness. You make a real meal of it, don’t you, Brother Bear?  Speaking of eating, you made an attack on your women disciples who aren’t skinny enough to suit you. Why do you think female fat is a deadlier sin than YOUR fat?

.

How dare YOU, of all people, preach on physical fitness, or berate people for not fasting enough for your ministry?  YOUR bank account has gotten so fat from fleecing the poor and profiteering off people’s ignorance  that I think it’s a far greater sin to be a fatcat than a stout woman. I much prefer to see someone raid the fridge to dig  into a pint of Haagen-Dazs and “enjoy the guilt” than to see the likes of you raiding widow’s houses and digging into innocent Christians’ consciences and pockets, then enjoying all the guilt trips you lay on people who genuinely desire a closer walk with Me. People who desperately hope and pray  I am not really like you!

.

Where, oh  where do you ever once read that I  hold women to this world’s measurements of beauty while excusing men from them? Show Me the Scripture! Have YOU looked in the mirror lately, and judged YOURSELF against your own narrow definition of physical fitness?  Remember what I said about first getting rid of the log in your own eye before picking at the speck in your neighbor’s eye! You get my drift. Your sexist double standards wound emotionally vulnerable women who have already been burnt by the Establishment’s dieting and slimness manifesto.  They don’t need to have more of that demonic drivel   crammed down their throats at church.  Rather, the fellowship of the saints is supposed to be a refuge from the oppression of the carnal  cultural edicts of a sex-crazed, money-mad world system.  A system which manipulates the minds of the masses and profits off the very same insecurities it instills in them.  You prefer your pews to be full of “successful-looking” saints whose outward appearance advertises the popular  Prosperity doctrine which has served you so well. Trim and businesslike, smart-looking, reassuringly refined and “nice”.

.

Well, the hour on My prophetic clock is precariously late  and I don’t have time to put up with your perverse games anymore.  I’m not going to waste My precious time mincing words, either. I have said the things which are highly esteemed in the sight of man are an abomination in My sight (Luke 16:15).  That includes the self-aggrandizement and snobbery of mankind; all its egotistical pride in wealth, social status, or glamor..

I genuinely suspect you’d feel frustrated if your parishioners were closer to perfection than yourself.  It delights you to make them squirm as you  snarl abuse down at them and rob them not only of their human dignity but  the contents of their wallets. Now I’m going to shout back at you, Brother Bear:  Before you come back to My table demanding dessert,  let your poor slaves eat!

.

When you invent new ways to heap  condemnation on My people you hinder My own work of healing bruised hearts. At present, I’m not getting much help from you. Nothing frustrates my grace more than some sharp-tongued preacher ripping into sensitive souls which really need the Oil of Joy for the spirit of heaviness,  the healing balm of the Love of Christ for emotional bruises, and the Power of the Blood of the Lamb to gain victory over every assault of the enemy, including nagging feelings of worthlessness and inadequacy.  Don’t you dare deny that My people are precious in My sight, or bring them under bondage to condemnation.  They are My heritage which I have purchased with My own precious  Blood.

.

You have used your chastening rod to drive many sheep back out into the wilderness of the world. With force and with cruelty you have ruled them (Ezekiel 34:4).  People just got so disgusted with your vituperative tongue and continual carping that they left to go look for a new guru. These unstable souls were unable to differentiate between bullies in the pulpit and Christ, Who is meek and lowly in heart; the gentle, merciful Savior Whose yoke is easy and Whose burden is light.

.

Your greatest delight has been not to show forth My love, but to “give lukewarm Christians a kick in the pants to spur them on to greater holiness”.  But that is not My way.  I am a loving Father, not a  slave driver wielding a whip.

.

There were times you actually forgot all about the offering and felt like your motives for performing your ministry were noble, and no one else could fill your place.  In the beginning people thought your approach was like a breath of fresh air, after all the mealy-mouthed, double-tongued preachers they’d listened to before.  Until your words hit home hard and hurt them too much.

.

In your misguided  zeal you have laid many grievous burdens upon My precious sheep, which I never authorized you to do. Yet you would never touch one of these burdens with a ten-foot pole (Matthew 23:4). Just how long could you last, if I placed on your neck just one of the burdens so many of My people “out in the pews” are under? Could YOU work a nurse’s double shift, or slave on an assembly line all day?  How could YOU cope with feeling like your precious years were going down the drain and you felt frustrated, and saw yourself as just another cog in a machine at some factory,  living to work, rather than working to live ? How would YOU feel if YOUR boss fired you for some trivial reason, and YOU spent many weary weeks searching for a new job? Why should  poor people have to suffer your caustic criticisms on top of everything else they have to contend with daily!!!!!

.

Brother Bear, you’re at it again from your bully pulpit.  In times past you’ve lambasted My people over the head with misapplied Scriptures and vain traditions of men in order to FORCE them to pay unscriptural “tithes” on their paychecks and wages.  With FORCE and with CRUELTY many fat, well-fed  pharaohs have ruled My people (Ezek.34:4). Brother Bear, you’ve even threatened My people with the fires of hell for “robbing god” (yourself?) and you’ve sent many hard-working single moms and unemployed parents to bed weeping that I couldn’t give to them unless they shelled out the cash FIRST to PAY for those blessings. The riches of My infinite love which I FREELY share with My beloved children have been substituted for EARTHLY prosperity which I SELL to fearful, cringing, begging slaves in exchange for painful sacrifices!

.

Your LATEST vendetta is against stay-at-home dads who lovingly babysit their own kids instead of toiling at some  “secular” job.  Which planet are you on, anyway? Are you so out of touch with this economic recession that you begrudge some family the extra income a better-educated and better-qualified wife can bring in?  The Virtuous Woman of Proverbs 31 was capable of rolling up her sleeves and bringing in the bacon when necessary.  And if she DOES go out to work to save the family home from foreclosure, who’s gonna stay home and mind the children? It’s a catch-22 situation, Brother Bear. The man’s wages would BARELY be enough to pay for a substitute baby-sitter.  So why would it be far better for him to leave his own precious children to the care of strangers who may not even be Christian? Are YOU gonna shell out money for the man’s nursery fees out of your own extra fat so he can afford to go back to work at his low-paid job and actually get to contribute a meaningful amount to the household budget?  When hell freezes over! You FOREVER beg the “pew Christians” for extra “offerings” and “tithes” to finance something the “church” needs, but they would NEVER EVEN THINK of showing up on your own doorstep to ask for help in time of need.  Some of them have never even some within a few feet of you to say “hello”.  What kind of shepherd are you, anyway?  A good shepherd KNOWS his own sheep (John 10:14)..  Read Ezekiel 34 for a precise description of yourself! The Good Shepherd doesn’t beat the stuffing out of his sheep when they’re down, he HEALS them!  Now you’re telling that poor stay-at-home dad he’s going to fry in hell for all eternity in unquenchable fire with satan and his demons while you go to yet another heaven for yet another easy life.  Unless you repent and come to My Son for forgiveness and cleansing, Brother Bear, don’t bank on it! Don’t you realize My Son warned that if you called your brother “raca” (worthless) you’d be in danger of My divine judgment council (Matt.5:22)?

.

Why is it that if this same “Mr. MOM” was being PAID to run a day-care center to babysit OTHER PEOPLE’S KIDS you wouldn’t even think of calling  him a “lazy bum on his way to hell”, but since he’s not earning a solitary cent by keeping his OWN kids, he’s committing an unforgivable sin?  I would charge that man with the sin of slothfulness if he laid around on the couch all day guzzling on a beer watching TV while his kids ran wild.  But there’s a lot of GOOD Christian dads out there, Brother Bear, who deal with the REAL world as it is today in the best way they can. How can YOU possibly relate to the real world, son, where dads are a WELCOME extra pair of loving arms to cradle a sick baby while his tired wife takes a well-earned break? Do YOU ever get tired, Brother Bear? Do YOU have servants in all those fancy mansions you possess to make your life sweet and easy?  Or do you at least own a dishwasher, to clean the backlog of sour, grime-encrusted dishes generated by a houseful of rambunctious youngsters?  What about the yardwork that always needs doing, or the things that get broken around the house which the woman of the house doesn’t have the expertise to fix?  Maybe the woman’s real short and can’t even reach that broken electrical fixture!  Maybe the woman’s way too WEAK to lift heavy furniture or appliances that need tending to.  Anybody, whether male or female, who cares for a houseful of kids all day long and does the job conscientiously and well gets My reward and commendation, not My condemnation!

.

You forget, Brother Bear, that before the Industrial Revolution, it wasn’t unusual for men to work “at home”.  Adam and Eve worked together at similar tasks in the Garden of Eden.  Adam didn’t grab a sack lunch and hop onto an express bus to Smog City to toil in some factory.  My own earthly foster father Joseph ran his carpentry shop just a few steps away from our living quarters.  In an emergency situation Joseph could lay down his tools awhile and lend Mary a hand to help with some unusual problem Mary herself was too weak to take care of.  Unless he was away on a special job or had to go get supplies, My foster father did not “commute” to his daily employment.  Whenever necessary My mother could even come into the carpenter’s shop to help hold down a plank while her husband sawed.  She could help him clear light debris out of the shop and help make it tidy.  That’s what being a family is all about, Brother Bear. Sharing and caring, not accumulating a stockpile of money.  Each member of the family helps out the other when one of them is overwhelmed or needs the special expertise of some better qualified member of the family.  I care more about sharing and caring and bearing one another’s burdens in love than I do about sticking to traditional role models in the workplace.  So long as a husband does what he can WHEN he can and displays love, tenderness, godliness and courage in caring for his family, I find no fault in the way he carries out his role.

.

OR, could it possibly be that you have ulterior motives for questioning the masculinity of the house-husbands of your congregation?  You know full well that in being a cook, dishwasher, cleaner, launderer, shopper, meal-planner, baby-sitter, errand-runner, football coach, secretary, and amateur doctor for his family, that man’s services must be worth at least a five-figure sum, though he is FREELY giving these services out of love.  Even if the man’s wife is a qualified university professor making a six-figure salary, you gripe about the fact that only ONE tithe check will be coming your way from that household instead of two! Ideally, you’d love to have TWO slaves out there working their guts out to make life cushier for you, wouldn’t you, Brother Bear? When was the last time you sent a sympathy card to the family of some member of your congregation who died prematurely because of job-related stress or poverty?

.

You yell about the breakup of the American family, but who are YOU to point the finger of accusation?  You left the wife of your youth for a younger, fresher face.  You committed adultery against a loving wife who had bore you some lovely children, then remarried the object of your affections, having a second family with her.  I love ALL your children and will do My utmost to see to it that they all have a fighting chance to make it to heaven, since they are ALL precious in My sight.  Yet the fact remains that you’re continuing in the ministry, contrary to  I Tim.3:2, Titus 1:6 and Mark 10:11, which plainly states that in putting away your first wife without just cause and remarrying another you’re living in sin.  John the Baptist warned King Herod that it wasn’t lawful for him to have Herodias, yet you could care less about that Biblical example and think it’s only for other people.  You ignore My Word as you pamper your flesh and do what you want.  At the same time you excoriate the members of your congregation for being lazy, unspiritual and selfish with their money!

.

When was the last time you thanked your people for all  their loving support? Without  the little people out there in the pews, you’d be out of a job, and you’d have to toil for your daily bread like them. It takes far more faith to live without money than with with it. Have you ever once thanked your people for getting up early on their one day off (for many of them), getting themselves and their children ready, wolfing down a hurried breakfast, then braving  traffic jams and all kinds of weather on Sunday, which is supposedly a day of rest?

.

My Love is gentle and meek, but  about the only gentleness they ever get from you is the deceptively mild warmup to your real sermon, which builds into a roaring crescendo of rankling bitterness. Finally, your pent-up anger  bursts out and you let My people know what you really do think of them. They’re just “lazy hot-tub saints who’d be lucky to get the strip off a tin can as a crown on Judgment Day”. But what kind of a crown do YOU expect for browbeating your fellow-servants in your Master’s absence, then making a tidy pile for being an overbearing bear? (Matthew 24: 48-51).

.

Even newborn babies fresh from heaven aren’t spared your  bile. I blessed little children and babies, but you call them little vipers who will grow up to be juvenile delinquents unless they’re treated with a firm hand from the youngest age, though all tiny infants want is to be loved and cherished.

.

If anybody enters your church feeling like a special,  beloved child  of God, you know how to break him of that habit in a hurry.   I am extremely patient with babes in Christ who simply don’t know any better than to overzealously pick at each other, especially about issues that are  cultural obsessions of a fallen world, not actual sins.  But you, a man who was converted a long time ago, have used your power and influence to make the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad (Ezekiel 13:22a).

.

Old hurts you suffered as a young boy are still festering deep in your soul. Others misunderstood you and were impatient with you, even your own over strict dad.  So now you feel driven to perpetuate your unresolved hurt by lashing out at your own congregation and nitpicking at everything which doesn’t fit into your confused notion of what a church should be.  Rather than insulting some wounded woman out in the pews and reducing her to tears, you really should bring all your old hurts to me, dear son, and I would do a miracle of healing and restoration deep in your soul. I would help you to forgive your earthly father, the one you’re really angry at; a misguided man who hurt you by always being quick to discipline you, even before he knew the full story of what had happened. Ask Me to teach you how to love before it’s everlastingly too late to undo the damage which has already been done.

.

Grow up, or you’ll be ashamed when you stand before My Judgment Seat.  Repent of your hardheartedness now.  Why should you have to stand tongue-tied before the Bema Judgment Seat and watch your work of discouraging the saints go up in smoke?”

“Whenever preachers give even passive acceptance to hero worship from Christians they’re manifesting a spirit of Antichrist (instead of Christ).  By lording it over their flocks as gods, they’re promoting IDOLATRY in God’s people and causing Christ’s little ones to stumble (Matt.18:6). Peter instructs true ministers of God to have a humble attitude, not to be greedy of carnal gain, and not to exalt themselves as lords over God’s heritage (I Pet.5:2-4).

 .

Lust for power and money has caused the spiritual ruin of many a preacher and shipwrecked many souls who invested time and treasure in his message.:

 .

I have called you out of the darkness of bondage into the perfect liberty of My Spirit. I have set you free from the cruel despotic, slave masters, bad pastors too, unto your full freedom, liberty in my son Jesus Christ made available to you by his death for all of your sins too.  Stay free.  Note Jeremiah 17:7 which warns of a curse upon those who trust in man rather than God.

 .

II Cor.3:6  Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but the spirit: for THE LETTER KILLETH, but the spirit giveth life.

 .

VERSE 7  But if THE MINISTRATION OF DEATH, WRITTEN AND ENGRAVEN IN STONES, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away;

 .

VERSE 8  How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?

 .

VERSE 9  For if THE MINISTRATION OF CONDEMNATION be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.

.

Acts 20:29: For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.

.

Rom. 8:1: There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit.

 .

(Luke 14:26 KJV)  If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.
.
(Luke 14:33 KJV)  So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.
 .

Just like today in social aid, the people receiving social  aid they now cannot own major tangible property, real estate, so any of   the people, priests  receiving the old testament tithes they also could not own any major tangible, real estate  properties.. but today the false priest, pastors who are demanding on receiving tithes they falsely also do want to still own a home… to enjoy the monetary rewards of both.. they are still equivalent of welfare cheats!!!!

.

Open rebuke is better than secret love. Those who sin rebuke before all, doing nothing by partiality, and those whom I love I chasten and rebuke before all as well. I   post  much of these facts, truths openly to all presently so they will all even repent today.

I rightfully  do not put up with any crooked cops, bad pastors, crooks and  I readily call the police, expose them , demand openly their full prosecution, dismissal too. Originally I gave many of them the doubt, but now I am convinced that most of them are deliberate, conscious crooks, specifically “hirelings” who should be fired, dismissed
 .

I also had sent my complaint to major news editors, major MPs, all the members of the legislatures in 4 major provinces now as well asking the government to deal with the false solicitation of funds, tithes under lies by any of the crooked evangelical pastors too.
 .
Now at lest even the bad pastors also least cannot deny the fact they were given a chance to repent.. for it is a terrible thing to fall into the hands of the living God. I have fired many pastors, seen the white terror on their wives faces when they also do see me.. they have the holy shakes, a spirit of holy fear..  the present public exposure and prosecution of the guilty serves everyone’s’ best interest still.  I think we can agree that people world wide will read these posts,   and  that they will be upset by it and prosperity and properly respond to it too in Jesus name..
.
While God does not command mandatory tithing in the New Testament, I might expect that God will bless some of the people who voluntarily tithe, give ten percent of all their income to God, in the place God specially now tells them to give too,  for God diligently rewards those who put their trust in Him, obeys and follows his revealed will to them, but for  sure God does not bless all of the tithers, for it depends on the initial reasons as to why they do tithe, which too often they can still be wrong reasons, selfish, self centered reasons like seeking self prosperity, financial security or showing off, boasting. For a true godly Christian believer is already  promised now personal security in God, and all of their needs, not wants and desires , to be meet..
.
Psalm 1:1  Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2  But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.  3  And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.4  The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. 5  Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.6  For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

As I look back in my life the last half a century some of the most immoral, despotic, cruel persons I have encountered in Canada were not just in the business world but actually pastors in various Christian  churches and why was, is that?  (Prov 31:8 KJV)  “Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction.  9    Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.” To be able to judge righteously, though, the Church itself and the Preacher now must be also righteous.
.

No matter what the goal is, or how valueable it maybe,  leading others to Christ included, the ends do not justify the means by anyone, pastors, elders, deacons, others , and cheating, lying, stealing included now.. How you get there is as important as where you are going. Ask also now Moses and all the people of Israel who missed the promised Land cause they had simply refused to do it God’s way.
  .

I TOO  still would rightfully rather see pastor first live a sermon instead of too often now merely preach it to others and I really do think it is so farcical how some sinfully, proud evangelical pastors are ready to condemn others, to gossip about, to now preach about the other person’s  sins but someone how they can’t seem to deal with their own false abuse of others, their own sins, and their own false pride.. https://postedat.wordpress.com/2009/08/31/get-real-now/
.
For all the fundamental evangelical Christians who say that PM Stephen Harper DOES NOT DRINK ALCOHOL.. HERE IS THE REALITY “VANCOUVER, B.C. – It seems U.S. President Barack Obama owes Prime Minister Stephen Harper a few cold ones. The two leaders had a friendly bet on the outcome of Sunday’s gold-medal Olympic hockey game.   Team Canada came out on top, so Obama will have to pick up a 24-pack of Molson Canadian for the prime minister. Harper would have had to buy Obama a case of Yuengling beer if the U.S. had taken the top honour at the tournament. Team USA beat Team Canada in the first match-up between the two countries in the preliminary rounds, but Canada came out on top in a heart-stopping overtime round on Sunday. Harper was at the game in Vancouver but Obama did not make an appearance at the Olympics. The prime minister met with the gold medal winners in the locker room after the game to congratulate them. “

.
I ALSO REMEMBER WHEN THE LYING US PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE OBAMA SUPPORTER HAD SAID THAT CHRISTIAN OBAMA DOES NOT DRINK ALCOHOL..
.
I had attended a recent comical church service,  New Beginnings Ministry 9412 Rue Clement Lasalle, QC H8R1T5 Phone: (514) 363-1080., a farcical circus, not the first time now too,  where  Stéphane Chauvette Associate Pastor was preaching about everything, bashing everyone else, but somehow he could not keep his own promises, his  own word, or stay on a specific valid subject. And he made it clear if you  rock his boat he will next also kick you off the ship..  The  hypocritical, pretentious fundamental right winged evangelical pastor of this New Life Beginnings in LaSalle, Quebec  Preaches next openly  now  for us not to believe any of the news media and for us not to  have anything to do with any person who drinks wine, and to stand up against all of the people who do any wrong, to even openly speak to them, ( as long as it is not the pastor himself  for sure) and yet he lied and says come and talk to me your pastor after church. I am always really interested to hear from you about all of your concerns but  in reality when you do try to talk to him.. for next  I thus told him that our PM stephen Harper the supposedly good Christian now drinks beer/wine..  well  next the pastor really got upset at me..  since he himself cannot handle negative truths, he the ostrich no good pastor refused to further talk with me  and said  he was tired now, he  refuses to hear any of that, he refuses to believe any of that, for that is all gossip,  slanders, and also we do not allow anyone who causes disturbance, problems, gives any criticism in our church, so please leave now. So much for this supposedly Christ like church and their false professing Christian love, false brotherly love, their supposed openness now, and one’s free speech too..
.

(Luke 19:45 KJV) And he went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold therein, and them that bought; 46 Saying unto them, It is written, My house is the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves.

.

Most preachers today who sell the gospel for money tend to be still false themselves too. Neither Jesus Christ, His apostles, nor any early Church Christians sold any portion of the Gospel to others, rather they clearly gave freely to all others in need..

.

I have been preaching freely the Gospel of the New Testament, Jesus Christ freely for over 50 years and I have never taken even one church offering or have asked for any money for doing so..

.

The Old Testament and the New Testament tells many an account of the false prophets who now also had betrayed God, Jesus for money..http://anyonecare.wordpress.com/2008/08/28/selling-the-gospel-for-money-too/

.

Canada’s Prime Minister Stephen Harper is not a real Evangelical Christian

For all you naive, seduced born again evangelicals who do still think that Stephen Harper is an evangelical Christian, most of you real Evangelicals do agree that drinking beer is  an unacceptable sin but

Stephen Harper offers a pint of beer he poured at the Red Stag tavern during a campaign stop in Halifax, Thursday March 31, 2011”.

SECRET or not so secret TITHING

awp375

(Luke 14:26 KJV)  If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.

.
(Luke 14:33 KJV)  So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.

.

God does not need your money, he wants all of you rather.  Apostle Paul clearly made the decision to follow Jesus alone in all that he did, living by faith now too. Paul did not preach tithing at all.  https://postedat.wordpress.com/2010/01/09/and-who-do-you-follow-jesus-or/

.

Matthew 6

1 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.
2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:

4 That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly

.

Tithing – giving  10 percent of all of their incomes supposedly directly to God, but today  Tithing preaching is evil in many ways.. it is a false attempt to enslave us under a false obedience to the  false laws.. Old Testament laws that we are not obligated to follow as Christians.   ”Tithing was divinely instituted by God under the old covenant and was compulsory upon the people who worshiped God ( upon Jews only).
.

Abraham was not a Jew so he did not tithe. The nation of Jews came at a later date.
.

Genesis 16 And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely the LORD is in this place; and I knew it not.17 And he was afraid, and said, How dreadful is this place! this is none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.18 And Jacob rose up early in the morning, and took the stone that he had put for his pillows, and set it up for a pillar, and poured oil upon the top of it.19 And he called the name of that place Bethel: but the name of that city was called Luz at the first.20 And Jacob vowed a vow, saying, If God will be with me, and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat, and raiment to put on,21 So that I come again to my father’s house in peace; then shall the LORD be my God:22 And this stone, which I have set for a pillar, shall be God’s house: and of all that thou shalt give me I will surely give the tenth unto thee.
.
Tithing today also  is a  mechanism used by most Pastors to steal God’s money and for them use it where they want, not where God wants it to be used
.
It was interesting that Rev George Mueller was able to raise millions of dollars by donation, without once sharing and his the needs publicly too. He exercised  his faith in God, verb- Use or apply (a faculty, right, or process),  and prayed secretly for all his needs unlike the many false hirelings in the Ministry today who have their eyes on people and not God

https://postedat.wordpress.com/2009/05/28/rev-george-muller/
.
Now my God has already promised to   supply all your needs by Jesus Christ already so why do you want to even tithe  firstly? what are your real motives in doing so?
.
While God does not command mandatory tithing in the New Testament, I might expect that God will bless some of the people who voluntarily tithe, give ten percent of all their income to God, in the place God specially now tells them to give too,  for God diligently rewards those who put their trust in Him, obeys and follows his revealed will to them, but for sure God does not bless all of the tithers, for it depends on the initial reasons as to why they do now  tithe,  and  which too often they can still be a wrong reason, even selfish, self centered reasons like seeking self prosperity, financial security or even showing off, boasting.

Now about Tithing in the old Testament.. as it is no longer found in the New Testament basically..
.
Tithing
.
Under the new covenant we are not bound by arbitrary laws; but the principles of right and wrong, as expressed by the law, are fulfilled in the believer’s life through grace. Grace should produce as much as or more than law demanded. Regular systematic giving is clearly taught in the New Testament. It is known as the grace of giving.   The gauge or rule of this systematic giving is defined in the Old Testament, known as the law of tithing. All Christians should conscientiously and systematically tithe their income to God  ( ? )”
.
The Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, PAOC also now CLEARLY LIES, IS GUILTY OF MISLEADING, FALSE  STATEMENTS TO ALL CANADIANS TO OBTAIN DONATIONS, by even saying Jesus requires us all to tithe.
.
(Lev 27:30 KJV)  And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD’S: it is holy unto the LORD. 31  And if a man will at all redeem ought of his tithes, he shall add thereto the fifth part thereof.  32 And concerning the tithe of the herd, or of the flock, even of whatsoever passeth under the rod, the tenth shall be holy unto the LORD.
.
(Mal 3:10 KJV)  Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
.
(2 Cor 9:6 -15 KJV)  But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.    And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:    (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever.    Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)    Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.   For the administration of this service not only supplieth the want of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God;   Whiles by the experiment of this ministration they glorify God for your professed subjection unto the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal distribution unto them, and unto all men;  And by their prayer for you, which long after you for the exceeding grace of God in you. Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.
.
While I was able to agree with most of   the PAOC doctrines, statements of faith, next the glaring biblical distortion of the emphasis on the compulsory tithing was  unacceptable. So is their false support of divorce now too.
.
Here also there was glaring inconsistency in the preaching OF TITHING over the actual practice, specially even related to the partial biblical quotes now too.. where clearly there is a direct reference as tithing being applicable to help the poor persons. which in fact is not being practiced in realty for a start at all even  the definite Biblical requirement that 1/7 of the tithes belongs directly to the local  poor persons..
.
SO IF YOU SAY YOU BELIEVE IN TITHING THEN YOU MUST BELIEVE IN HELPING THE LOCAL POOR PEOPLE WITH IT. AND WE CAN ALL SEE THE EVIDENCE IF IT TOO.
.
*The Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada CHURCH is a Fellowship of more than 1,100 churches across English- and French-speaking Canada.  http://www.paoc.org/info@paoc.org
.
The New Testament  Epistles are full of discussions about giving for the support  of  preachers, teachers, and also the giving to the poor persons: but no where do now in realty do any of the  Apostles ask for the tithes  directly or indirectly! Will somebody still please show me where in the New Testament we can next find  any of the New testament Believers in Christ believers paying tithes specifically, or any of the Apostles asking for tithes? Well? Where? It does  not exist in fact!
.
In reality the Old Testament Book of Malachi the one most often used a reference to application of tithing in the PAOC CHURCH today firstly was written directly ironically too to the bad priests who were stealing the tithe that all belongs to God firstly. The earth is the Lord’s, and every thing in it, the world, and all who live in it. (Psalm 24:1).
.
The book of  Malachi firstly is about the prophet Malachi  is rebuking the bad priests, the  Levites. The tithe payable by the Levites, and main subject is not the tithes payable by the people was the issue, the unpaid tithe here. Ironic that the tithe collection is still too often being abused too often today as well by the PAOC Church  , pastors.
.
“The pastors of the PAOC  Church pastors have too often abused  the tithe, stole the TITHE monies, and I had often now turned them into the the authorities myself too , including the PAOC  Calgary Christian centre as I have also detailed on the net to all why too.
.
For decades now too I have known many PAOC Christians who boasted to me of their tithing while they continued to commit immoral, unacceptable acts. Tithing was a part of the Old Testament  law, and not the New Testament Covenant.
.
It is again interesting that those who believe we must enforce  tithe today that they do not follow the entire letter of the law in this matter in their preaching of the  New Testament, new  Covenant for  the law required also several tithes, including tithing to the local poor persons, all which would amount to considerably more than ten percent.
.
Also now according to the same Bible all persons who received any portions of the tithes now too were not allowed to own any property as well.  False Boasting, faith by works  is too often associated with tithing AND WE ARE NOT TO WALK  “Not of works, lest any man should boast.”  Ephesians 5:9
.
We too often hear Church sermons on the need to give money to the local storehouse, supposedly the local church, under the heading of tithing being even applicable today? Now is it? How come most of the hypocrites, liars who preach on the demands of the laws of tithing today neglect to firstly themselves to practice on all of the other inclusive laws related to tithing as well. Or are they deliberately or undeliberately  ignorant of these other applicable Biblical laws?
.
Just cause a person tithes, does not mean he is spiritual, more likely he is still even coming tax evasion, cheating, steal, abusing  in my personal witness and experiences even in the PAOC churches now. (Psa 112:9 KJV)  He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour.
.
(Acts 15:14 KJV)  Simeon hath declared how God at the first did visit the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for his name. 15  And to this agree the words of the prophets; as it is written, 16  After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up: 17  That the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called, saith the Lord, who doeth all these things. 18  Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world.
.
Firstly the promised restoration of the tabernacle of David mentioned in the book of Acts is not the restoration of tithing, Jerusalem as the center of Worship, any land of Israel now too, and it was, is not for sure a nationalistic Israel empire building..
.
The promised restoration of the tabernacle of David  is solely foremost  by the substitutionary innocent death of Jesus Christ next actually is the experience of the personal “Baptism of the Holy Spirit”, Pentecostalism, and the restoration of the related personal method of the worship of God directly, David danced before the Lord, and thus also  it is not just the formation of CHRIST’S Church.(John 4:23 KJV)  But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth..
.
Too many even professing Christian persons are not familiar with the Bible , THE NEW TESTAMENT AND THEY THUS DO HAVE A FALSE UNDERSTANDING OF JESUS CHRIST, Tithing, etc., Most persons do not know the Bible really well, in fact they really have not  studied the Bible still firsthand and sadly most people wrongfully rely mostly,  heavily on what  the others do  tell them even as to the supposed truth in  regard to tithing in  the Bible..
.
Too often I had  entered a PAOC church for the first time and I was greeted by the pastor and he wanted immediately to know where I was working, what kind of work I and he did not at all ask rather about my poor health which had prevented me from working at that time. Now also I CLEARLY SAW THE GLIMMER IN THE HE PASTOR EYES COUNTING THE POTENTIAL INCOME. HE WRONGFULLY HAD HIS EYES ON MAN TO SUPPLY HIS NEEDS AND NOT GOD.
.
Other Christians, even a church secretary even,  bragged to me that they were paid up in the annual tithe but admitted to me they also had not paid all of the taxes cause they had committed tax evasions, for after all their pastor now had did the same thing. (Luke 20:25 KJV)  And he said unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which be Caesar’s, and unto God the things which be God’s.
.
THE SUBJECT OF  TITHING OFTEN CAUSES SOME PERSONS GREAT STRESS AND EVEN CHURCH DIVISIONS, FALSE  PERSECUTIONS AS WELL.
.
(1 Tim 6:10 KJV)  For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. 12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
.
IT IS NOT YOUR TITHING THAT WILL BLESS YOU FIRSTLY BUT IT IS GOD HIMSELF.. (Prov 10:22 KJV) The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.
.
IT IS TRUE, A FACT THAT FOR  many years many people have been looking even for the one Bible verse that would make them rich and famous too. AND TOO MANY  PEOPLE ARE LEAD FALSELY TO BELIEVE THAT TITHING WILL LEAD TO, GUARANTEE  FINANCIAL PROSPERITY.
.
Well prosperity that now happens one day at a time with our walk with Jesus, it is firstly a spiritual one, for we are rich in Him and famous for our great exploits through Him as well not rather solely Money, the love of which is the root of all evil still.. I am also tired of hearing from the persons who wrongfully distort, take one isolated verse about prosperity being wealth, money and they do also wrongfully leave out all of the rest of the Bible verses that speak on giving to the poor and needy, about overall true prosperity and not just more  money now as well.. these type of preachers it seems are  wrongfully mostly selfish and unbalanced persons still, not real loving Christians also.
.
(3 John 1:2 KJV)  Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.prospering  greatly in the Lord firstly? with personal visible good works too? good works on behalf of others, the poor and needy persons too?
.
(2 Cor 8:1 KJV)  Moreover, brethren, we do you to wit of the grace of God bestowed on the churches of Macedonia; 2  How that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the riches of their liberality. 3  For to their power, I bear record, yea, and beyond their power they were willing of themselves; 4  Praying us with much entreaty that we would receive the gift, and take upon us the fellowship of the ministering to the saints. 5  And this they did, not as we hoped, but first gave their own selves to the Lord, and unto us by the will of God.
.
Ministering to the saints does not mean solely religious empire building, paying of building funds, and the physical maintenance costs. You do not need a church building to practice tithing and ministering to the saints.(Deu 16:17 KJV) Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the LORD thy God which he hath given thee.
.
IN THE NEW TESTAMENT (1 Corinthians 16:2 KJV)  “Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.” Note nothing about a minimum amount in specific tithing obligations was, is mentioned here and why?  (GALATIANS 2:10 KJV)  Only they would that we should remember the poor; the same which I also was forward to do.
.
God has designed the churches also  should help the poor,  help one another, other churches, and that  can next  also include any other ministries that God will, will lead you to give to now as well.. a real ministry is where someone actually looks after the good physical and spiritual welfare of the flock of God, not just in words, but with real visible , good deeds.
.
(Mat 7:20 KJV)  Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. (Mat 7:21 KJV)  Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22  Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
.
(Luke 16:9 KJV)  And I say unto you, Make to yourselves friends of the mammon of unrighteousness; that, when ye fail, they may receive you into everlasting habitations.
.
(Luke 16:10 KJV)  He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.
.
(Luke 16:11 KJV)  If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?
.
(Luke 16:12 KJV)  And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man’s, who shall give you that which is your own?
.
(Luke 16:13 KJV)  No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
.
Now what does the Bible actually really say about tithing overall?
.
You firstly in love and gratitude give back to God for his love, for his goodness you bring the gift, tithes to God through  yourself  and yes you ensure it is administered   directly to the Christian workers, the poor and needy persons, even  a set portion of the tithe and then you start to also give some more love offerings for the mortgages, the other needs.. Giving is always more than the minimum 10 percent of one’s income, tithe in the old testament for a start.
.
Now it is true that tithing existed and was practiced in the Old Testament  and  a  set portion of these tithes  were also to be given to the local poor persons  too. In fact at least 19 % of these Biblical commanded tithes were to be given  directly to the local poor persons. Too Many Churches today falsely do rob God by asking for just the tithe giving and next also wrongfully use it to pay the mortgage, building expenses.
.

and/or what they do also not use the same  tithes today   to help practically the poor  persons in their own church? even the designated Old  Testament amount of 19 % of the tithe?
.
Are you aware of a PAOC or any church that gives of the portion of the  collected tithes directly, systematically  to the  poor in their own church ? and gives an regular open account of it?
.
Furthermore undeniably too the Old Testament Levites, and the poor persons, or anyone who would enjoy  the benefits of the tithes they did not own  or could not own any land, or a house. The Lord God  stated that the Levites would have no inheritance of land but would be given a portion of the tithe instead. Such an injunction would also apply today to anyone claiming a right to receive a tithe too.
.
Numbers 18:20 (NIV) 20 The LORD said to Aaron, “You will have no inheritance in their land, nor will you have any share among them; I am your share and your inheritance among the Israelites.
.
(Deu 12:17 KJV)  Thou mayest not eat within thy gates the tithe of thy corn, or of thy wine, or of thy oil, or the firstlings of thy herds or of thy flock, nor any of thy vows which thou vowest, nor thy freewill offerings, or heave offering of thine hand:(Deu 14:23 KJV)  And thou shalt eat before the LORD thy God, in the place which he shall choose to place his name there, the tithe of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the firstlings of thy herds and of thy flocks; that thou mayest learn to fear the LORD thy God always.
.
(Neh 10:38 KJV)  And the priest the son of Aaron shall be with the Levites, when the Levites take tithes: and the Levites shall bring up the tithe of the tithes unto the house of our God, to the chambers, into the treasure house.
.
The Biblical reality also now  that only  10 percent of the collected  tithe in the Old testament  every three years went directly to the storehouse?
.
Also, every third year, the Israelite was required to store his tithe in his own town to feed the fatherless, aliens, and widows as required by the Lord. This was the tithe of the poor. (ma’aser ani)(Deuteronomy 14:22-29, 26:12-15) (Amos 4:4-5)
.
The tithe was also paid directly to the storehouse only every 3rd year? and the other two years the thither himself enjoyed the tithes himself by now also personally feasting on it? Did you ever hear your PAOC preacher tell you that and why not? Obviously he wanted your share of the tithe.
.
And why now have any of the today’s  PAOC pastors  not even mentioned ALL OF these  Biblical verses, truths  too in all honesty? rather they like you to believe that   then and not all of the tithes was to be  given to the local church for them wrongfully to do as they want.. which was not so at all AND NOT in the Old or New Testament. Even the Apostles were accountable, transparent  to the church elders in all they did.
.
Deuteronomy 14:22-29 (NIV) 22 Be sure to set aside a tenth of all that your fields produce each year. 23 Eat the tithe of your grain, new wine and oil, and the firstborn of your herds and flocks in the presence of the LORD your God at the place he will choose as a dwelling for his Name, so that you may learn to revere the LORD your God always. 24 But if that place is too distant and you have been blessed by the LORD your God and cannot carry your tithe (because the place where the LORD will choose to put his Name is so far away), 2 5 then exchange your tithe for silver, and take the silver with you and go to the place the LORD your God will choose. 26 Use the silver to buy whatever you like: cattle, sheep, wine or other fermented drink, or anything you wish. Then you and your household shall eat there in the presence of the LORD your God and rejoice. 27 And do not neglect the Levites living in your towns, for they have no allotment or inheritance of their own. 28 At the end of every three years, bring all the tithes of that year’s produce and store it in your towns, 29 so that the Levites (who have no allotment or inheritance of their own) and the aliens, the fatherless and the widows who live in your towns may come and eat and be satisfied, and so that the LORD your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.
.
Deuteronomy 26:12-15 (NIV) 12 When you have finished setting aside a tenth of all your produce in the third year, the year of the tithe, you shall give it to the Levite, the alien, the fatherless and the widow, so that they may eat in your towns and be satisfied. 13 Then say to the LORD your God: “I have removed from my house the sacred portion and have given it to the Levite, the alien, the fatherless and the widow, according to all you commanded. I have not turned aside from your commands nor have I forgotten any of them. 14 I have not eaten any of the sacred portion while I was in mourning, nor have I removed any of it while I was unclean, nor have I offered any of it to the dead. I have obeyed the LORD my God; I have done everything you commanded me. 15 Look down from heaven, your holy dwelling place, and bless your people Israel and the land you have given us as you promised on oath to our forefathers, a land flowing with milk and honey.”
.
Deuteronomy 12:4-19 (NIV) 4 You must not worship the LORD your God in their way. 5 But you are to seek the place the LORD your God will choose from among all your tribes to put his Name there for his dwelling. To that place you must go; 6 there bring your burnt offerings and sacrifices, your tithes and special gifts, what you have vowed to give and your freewill offerings, and the firstborn of your herds and flocks. 7 There, in the presence of the LORD your God, you and your families shall eat and shall rejoice in everything you have put your hand to, because the LORD your God has blessed you. 8 You are not to do as we do here today, everyone as he sees fit, 9 since you have not yet reached the resting place and the inheritance the LORD your God is giving you. 10 But you will cross the Jordan and settle in the land the LORD your God is giving you as an inheritance, and he will give you rest from all your enemies around you so that you will live in safety. 11 Then to the place the LORD your God will choose as a dwelling for his Name-there you are to bring everything I command you: your burnt offerings and sacrifices, your tithes and special gifts, and all the choice possessions you have vowed to the LORD. 12 And there rejoice before the LORD your God, you, your sons and daughters, your menservants and maid servants, and the Levites from your towns, who have no allotment or inheritance of their own. 13 Be careful not to sacrifice your burnt offerings anywhere you please. 14 Offer them only at the place the LORD will choose in one of your tribes, and there observe everything I command you. 15 Nevertheless, you may slaughter your animals in any of your towns and eat as much of the meat as you want, as if it were gazelle or deer, according to the blessing the LORD your God gives you. Both the ceremonially unclean and the clean may eat it. 16 But you must not eat the blood; pour it out on the ground like water. 17 You must not eat in your own towns the tithe of your grain and new wine and oil, or the firstborn of your herds and flocks, or whatever you have vowed to give, or your freewill offerings or special gifts. 18 Instead, you are to eat them in the presence of the LORD your God at the place the LORD your God will choose-you, your sons and daughters, your menservants and maidservants, and the Levites from your towns-and you are to rejoice before the LORD your God in everything you put your hand to. 19 Be careful not to neglect the Levites as long as you live in your land.
.
Amos 4:4-5 (NIV) 4 “Go to Bethel and sin; go to Gilgal and sin yet more. Bring your sacrifices every morning, your tithes every three years. 5 Burn leavened bread as a thank offering and brag about your freewill offerings- boast about them, you Israelites, for this is what you love to do,” declares the Sovereign LORD.
.
Heb.7:1 For this Melchisidec, King of Salem, priest of the Most High God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings and blessed him; 2 To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all;. . . 4 Now consider how great this man was, unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils.
.
In Genesis chapter 14, Abraham goes out to rescue his nephew Lot, who along with many others has been kidnapped. The kidnappers had ransacked the towns of Sodom and Gomorrah where Lot lived, and were on their way back to their own cities. Abraham took 318 servants with him, (boy was he rich), and rescued Lot’s family. He also took from the kidnappers all the loot they had obtained during their raids. After restoring the personal property of the residents of Sodom, he gave 10% of the loot to Melchisidec. This time, and this time only, are we ever told that Abraham pays tithes to anyone. There is no mention that he went home to round up 10% of the goods he had there, and anyone who could produce his own 318 man army was not poor. We are nowhere told that Abraham ever paid tithes on any of his income again. If Abraham establishes a law for Christians regarding tithing, then if you give away 10% of your next windfall, you have imitated Abraham. The purpose of Hebrews chapter 7 is not to establish a law of tithing, but to show how Jesus Christ was foreshadowed in symbols and figures throughout the Old Testament.(Gen 28:21 KJV)  So that I come again to my father’s house in peace; then shall the LORD be my God:  Jacob said, “Of all that Thou shalt give me, I will surely give the tenth unto Thee” (Gen.28:22).
.
We can presume from these words, that Jacob did, from that point, give the tenth to God: but to whom did he give it? How did he give it to God? There were no “clergymen” around to collect these tithes, and neither was there a Temple to bring them to. Perhaps Jacob gave these tithes to the poor; perhaps they were consumed in offerings by fire, but one thing is for sure: these tithes were not going into someone’s “storehouse”. Note: this was not a command to Jacob from God, but a vow made by Jacob to God. The antiquity of any practice does not make it a law for the Church.
.
Matt. 23: 23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint, and anise, and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ye ought to have done, and not to leave the other undone. 24 Ye blind guides! which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.
.
It is obvious that the Lord Jesus told the Jews, the Pharisees specially  to not neglect paying the obligatory  tithe and next asa  a reflection of His judgment on them: in that they were not of His sheep. It was characteristic of Our Lord Jesus to encourage the self righteous in their works, and even to increase the requirement, so as to show them that they were not made righteous by these works. Let’s look at again the few  New Testament supposedly applicable verses on tithing.
.
(1 Cor 16:2 KJV)  Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come. 3  And when I come, whomsoever ye shall approve by your letters, them will I send to bring your liberality unto Jerusalem.
.
The percentage amount of the individual’s donation firstly is not specified here  though, not even even implied not even  the old testament standard of 10  percent of one’s income or the amount  to be given to the poor persons. Now  why is that?
.
EVEN IN THE NEW TESTAMENT SOME PERSONS LIED  ABOUT THEIR THEIR TITHES, INCOMES
.
(Acts 5:3 KJV)  But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?  4 Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.
.
Coming back to the Old Testament verses also  on tithing..

“There were several types of tithes, according to the source of Israelites’ income: the tithes from the land (seed and fruit) and the tithes from the domestic animals (flock and herd). In other words, God HAD expected His people to set aside one tenth of all increase (income).”(Exo 34:26 KJV)  The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring unto the house of the LORD thy God.(Exo 23:16 KJV)  And the feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field: and the feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field.(Lev 23:10 KJV)  Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest:
.
(Num 28:26 KJV)  Also in the day of the firstfruits, when ye bring a new meat offering unto the LORD, after your weeks be out, ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work:
.
(Deu 26:10 KJV)  And now, behold, I have brought the firstfruits of the land, which thou, O LORD, hast given me. And thou shalt set it before the LORD thy God, and worship before the LORD thy God:
.
(2 Chr 31:5 KJV)  And as soon as the commandment came abroad, the children of Israel brought in abundance the firstfruits of corn, wine, and oil, and honey, and of all the increase of the field; and the tithe of all things brought they in abundantly.
.
(Neh 10:35 KJV)  And to bring the firstfruits of our ground, and the firstfruits of all fruit of all trees, year by year, unto the house of the LORD:
.
(Neh 10:37 KJV)  And that we should bring the firstfruits of our dough, and our offerings, and the fruit of all manner of trees, of wine and of oil, unto the priests, to the chambers of the house of our God; and the tithes of our ground unto the Levites, that the same Levites might have the tithes in all the cities of our tillage.
.
(Prov 3:9 KJV)  Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:
.
(Ezek 20:40 KJV)  For in mine holy mountain, in the mountain of the height of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, there shall all the house of Israel, all of them in the land, serve me: there will I accept them, and there will I require your offerings, and the firstfruits of your oblations, with all your holy things.
.
(Ezek 44:30 KJV)  And the first of all the firstfruits of all things, and every oblation of all, of every sort of your oblations, shall be the priest’s: ye shall also give unto the priest the first of your dough, that he may cause the blessing to rest in thine house. In Reality..
.
“God’s people OF THE OLD TESTAMENT and note this in the book of acts, New Testament too,  practiced Sharing, the Jews practiced  between the Israelites who received their inheritance from God (the land) and with those who did not posses such inheritance – Levites, strangers, orphans, and widows. If we examine the figures, the number of Israelites versus the number of Levites and the percentage that the Israelites were to give to the Levites and the poor (one third of 10%),( about 19% percent of the tithe)  we will find that each would end up with an equal share. This is the principle that was observed in the distribution of manna: one who gathered much had nothing left over and the one who gathered little had no lack.  Sharing was the community coming together with their families/neighbors and sharing in the atmosphere of joy and celebration before the Lord. ”
.
(Lev 27:30 KJV)  And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD’S: it is holy unto the LORD. The tithe always  is God’s not the churches, pastor’s, priests, etc., (Lev 27:32 KJV)  And concerning the tithe of the herd, or of the flock, even of whatsoever passeth under the rod, the tenth shall be holy unto the LORD. (Num 18:26 KJV)  Thus speak unto the Levites, and say unto them, When ye take of the children of Israel the tithes which I have given you from them for your inheritance, then ye shall offer up an heave offering of it for the LORD, even a tenth part of the tithe. (Deu 14:22 KJV)  Thou shalt truly tithe all the increase of thy seed, that the field bringeth forth year by year. (2 Chr 31:5 KJV)  And as soon as the commandment came abroad, the children of Israel brought in abundance the firstfruits of corn, wine, and oil, and honey, and of all the increase of the field; and the tithe of all things brought they in abundantly. (2 Chr 31:6 KJV)  And concerning the children of Israel and Judah, that dwelt in the cities of Judah, they also brought in the tithe of oxen and sheep, and the tithe of holy things which were consecrated unto the LORD their God, and laid them by heaps. (Neh 13:12 KJV)  Then brought all Judah the tithe of the corn and the new wine and the oil unto the treasuries. (Lev 27:31 KJV)  And if a man will at all redeem ought of his tithes, he shall add thereto the fifth part thereof. (Num 18:24 KJV)  But the tithes of the children of Israel, which they offer as an heave offering unto the LORD, I have given to the Levites to inherit: therefore I have said unto them, Among the children of Israel they shall have no inheritance. (Num 18:26 KJV)  Thus speak unto the Levites, and say unto them, When ye take of the children of Israel the tithes which I have given you from them for your inheritance, then ye shall offer up an heave offering of it for the  LORD, even a tenth part of the tithe. (Num 18:28 KJV)  Thus ye also shall offer an heave offering unto the LORD of all your tithes, which ye receive of the children of Israel; and ye shall give thereof the LORD’S heave offering to Aaron the priest. (Deu 12:6 KJV)  And thither ye shall bring your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, and your tithes, and heave offerings of your hand, and your vows, and your freewill offerings, and the firstlings of your herds and of your flocks: (Deu 12:11 KJV)  Then there shall be a place which the LORD your God shall choose to cause his name to dwell there; thither shall ye bring all that I command you; your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, your tithes, and the heave offering of your hand, and all your choice vows which ye vow unto the LORD: (Deu 26:12 KJV)  When thou hast made an end of tithing all the tithes of thine increase the third year, which is the year of tithing, and hast given it unto the Levite, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, that they may eat within thy gates, and be filled; (2 Chr 31:12 KJV)  And brought in the offerings and the tithes and the dedicated things faithfully: over which Cononiah the Levite was ruler, and Shimei his brother was the next. (Neh 10:38 KJV)  And the priest the son of Aaron shall be with the Levites, when the Levites take tithes: and the Levites shall bring up the tithe of the tithes unto the house of our God, to the chambers, into the treasure  house. (Neh 12:44 KJV)  And at that time were some appointed over the chambers for the treasures, for the offerings, for the firstfruits, and for the tithes, to gather into them out of the fields of the cities the portions of the law for the priests and Levites: for Judah rejoiced for the priests and for the Levites that waited. (Neh 13:5 KJV)  And he had prepared for him a great chamber, where aforetime they laid the meat offerings, the frankincense, and the vessels, and the tithes of the corn, the new wine, and the oil, which was commanded to be given to the Levites, and the singers, and the porters; and the offerings of the priests. (Amos 4:4 KJV)  Come to Bethel, and transgress; at Gilgal multiply transgression; and bring your sacrifices every morning, and your tithes after three years: (Mal 3:8 KJV)  Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. 10  Bring ye all ( all )  the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat ( note this food for the workers was the purpose of the tithe) in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

And still  coming back to the Old Testament you are to give all of the tithe to God, all of the tithe, all of  of it belongs to him, and you next gave  1/7 of this tithe to the local poor people, and the balance of the tithe was to go 100 percent to the support of of the Christian workers and their families. Not to any building programs, loans, mortgages..
.
Note this  that  none cent of the tithe,  not one cent  of the tithe, now still  was to go to the temple upkeep, or to the mortgages, building funds.. for there were other specific  offerings to be collected for this..  Is this than also  being practiced by the PAOC today? No! and why not if tithing is applicable today in full?
.
Now some Pentecostal churches do try to even make you sign an   agreement that you will give ten percent of your tithes to their church and they will let you next become a member of their church..   and in my own wittiness some of these PAOC pastors, elders, tithers of these churches committed tax evasions, even stole some of the monies , are and were mostly materialistic oriented and not spiritual too. .
.
Basically enforced tithing, like circumcision,  is an Old testament Law and thus is not really fully enforced in the  New Testament.. for in the New Testament you give to God of yourself, all of it, and next all of your money.. all of it belongs to God and He God spends it the way He God wants.. (1 Cor 16:1 KJV)  Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye.
.
The New Testament city Churches supported the  poor people even  in  the local city church unlike most PAOC Churches today. And now too  many people, pastors, elders do steal from all of God’s money today in reality as I myself have too often witnessed in churches too and thus  they are still thieves.
.
(1 Cor 10:24 KJV)  Let no man seek his own, but every man another’s wealth. and that means caring about their physical well being now as well. (Gal 2:10 KJV)  Only they would that we should remember the poor; the same which I also was forward to do. (Rom 15:25 KJV)  But now I go unto Jerusalem to minister unto the saints. 26 For it hath pleased them of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor saints which are at Jerusalem. 27 It hath pleased them verily; and their debtors they are. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister unto them in carnal things. (Isa 58:6 KJV)  Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke? 7  Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh? (Dan 4:27 KJV)  Wherefore, O king, let my counsel be acceptable unto thee, and break off thy sins by righteousness, and thine iniquities by showing mercy to the poor; if it may be a lengthening of thy tranquillity. (Mat 10:42 KJV)  And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward. (Mat 25:37 KJV)  Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? 38  When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? 39  Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? 40  And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. (Mat 5:19 KJV)  Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
.
Here AGAIN are a few basic facts, truths from the Bible that need also to be considered. The “tithe” itself  is reserved for certain functions, persons now as well.. and no man can still  force any one to tithe. The message of Jesus is that God is not in need of money but of a humble, sacrificial spirit.
.
(Mat 17:24 KJV)  And when they were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to Peter, and said, Doth not your master pay tribute? 25 He saith, Yes. And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of strangers? 26  Peter saith unto him, Of strangers. Jesus saith unto him, Then are the children free. Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power?  Acts 5:4 (2 Cor 9:7 KJV)  Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. 8  And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: 8 (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his  righteousness remaineth for ever.`10   Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)
.
Furthermore only the persons who did not own any land, a house  the Old Testament Levites, the poor enjoyed the benefits of the third year  tithes Numbers 18:20 (NIV) 20 The LORD said to Aaron, “You will have no inheritance in their land, nor will you have any share among them; I am your share and your inheritance among the Israelites
.
At least up to 19 % of the Biblical tithe was to be given directly to the local poor persons
.
Deuteronomy 26:12-15 (NIV) 12 When you have finished setting aside a tenth of all your produce in the third year, the year of the tithe, you shall give it to the Levite, the alien, the fatherless and the widow, so that they may eat in your towns and be satisfiedDeuteronomy 14: 27 And do not neglect the Levites  living in your towns, for they have no allotment or inheritance of their own.28 At the end of every three years, bring all the tithes of that year’s produce and store it in your towns, 29 so that the Levites (who have no allotment or inheritance of their own) and the aliens, the fatherless and the widows who live in your towns may come and eat and be satisfied, and so that the LORD your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.10 percent of  tithe only was paid directly to the storehouse and only every 3rd year?
.
Neh. 10:37-38 “.to bring the firstfruits. and to bring the tithes of our land to the Levites, for the Levites should receive the tithes in all our farming communities. And the priest, the descendant of Aaron, shall be with the Levites when the Levites receive tithes; and the Levites shall bring up a tenth of the tithes to the house of our God, to the rooms of the storehouse.”and the other two years the tither and his family enjoyed the tithes  by even feasting on it.The people of Israel were required to assemble three times a year at Jerusalem (as the place chosen by the Lord) for the major feasts.(Deu 12:17 KJV)  Thou mayest not eat within thy gates the tithe of thy corn, or of thy wine, or of thy oil, or the firstlings of thy herds or of thy flock, nor any of thy vows which thou vowest, nor thy freewill offerings, or heave offering of thine hand: (Deu 14:23 KJV)  And thou shalt eat before the LORD thy God, in the place which he shall choose to place his name there, the tithe of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the firstlings of thy herds and of thy flocks; that thou mayest learn to fear the LORD thy God  always. The Israelite was not commanded to tithe on everything he obtained and used throughout the year, but only on his increase at the end of the year. ( The increase minus his actual expenditures during the year, or the final year  end profit?)Deut.14:22 Thou shalt truly tithe all the increase of thy seed, that the field bringeth forth year by year.”Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this,” says the Lord of hosts, “if I will not open for you the windows of heaven, and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows” (Malachi 3:10).There were four tithes in Israel under the Old Covenant. Which one is referred to here? And the priest, the son of Aaron, shall be with the Levites when the Levites receive tithes, and the Levites shall bring up the tenth of the tithes to the house of our God, to the chambers of the storehouse (Nehemiah 10:38).The Mosaic Law of Tithing was never 10% of everything you get. The Temple (now considered to be the church-house) did not receive all of the tithes that were given by the Israelites.Tithing was neither commanded nor fully observed in the early church.Tithing as a covenant of prosperity is effective only for those who seek to be justified by keeping all of  the Law which is not possible anyway. Those who demand 10% of everything you get, are identified with the Scribes and the Pharisees, who were still the historic enemies of Christ.
.
(Heb 13:5 KJV)  Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.6  So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
.
(Mark 9:41 KJV)  For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward.
.
Please ALSO do not get any false impression that I am against voluntary tithing to the Lord Jesus Christ, or voluntary giving to the Lord Jesus Christ, AND to the poor persons.
.
I am against THE THIEVES WHO STEAL TITHING UNDER FALSE PRETENCES, FALSE PREACHING, or those persons trying to earn, buy their way into heaven, and also  thier now giving on the too often false man defined  mandates that the still mostly false pastors themselves do define it.. and

The fact that at least 60 percent of the evangelical pastors I have dealt with are very inadequate, even rather mere hirelings who lie, slander, abuse others, gossip,  cheat, steal, commit tax evasions, tolerate divorce wrongfully etc, and do not really follow after the Lord.
.
We need to have a better biblical  account of how the Lord’s money is spent.(Rom 15:1 KJV)  We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.(1 Cor 16:22 KJV)  If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha.(Mat 7:16 KJV)  Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
.
(Mat 7:20 KJV)  Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
.
Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God. Phil. 1:11
.
I know for a fact also that  Robbing God of his tithes, misappropriating them and denying the poor their portion of the tithes devastates a church as well.
.
(Luke 19:46 KJV)  Saying unto them, It is written, My house is the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves.
.
The perverse prosperity prostitutes, adulterers abound even in PAOC churches. It has been my too many years of personal experiences that the perverse prosperity prostitutes, adulterers, idolterers persons, who mainly  tithe to get richer and not rather to help the poor persons,  for they do  generally as well despise the poor and needy persons, covet to be rich they can be found in both the secular and religious camps, and their behaviors tend to be very similar. Even the religious persons, the rather still carnal persons, the Judas followers,  while they now even do profess to be moral good living persons  still when it comes to making more money they clearly bend their rules on morality, ethics, honesty, and they will even cheat, lie steal to acquire more wealth. they mainly still also do see other people as slave objects, slaves that can be used to help them increase their personal acquisitions and they will cast out, sell out their poor  relatives, relationships still too..  but they still will even profess to be good persons now too. and try to by their way into heaven.
.
(Mat 25:34 KJV)   Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35  For I was an hungered, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: 36  Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. 37  Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? 38  When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? 39  Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? 40  And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. 41  Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: 42  For I was an hungered, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: 43  I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. 44  Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? 45  Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. 46  And these shall go away into everlasting punishment:
.
(James 2:1 KJV)  My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons. 2  For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment; 3  And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool: 4  Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts? 5  Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him? 6  But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats? 7  Do not they blaspheme that worthy name by the which ye are called? 8  If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well: 9  But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors. 10  For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. 11  For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.
.
(1 Tim 5:8 KJV)  But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.
.
(1 John 1:9 KJV)  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
.
(Jer 2:20 KJV)  For of old time I have broken thy yoke, and burst thy bands; and thou saidst, I will not transgress; when upon every high hill and under every green tree thou wanderest, playing the harlot.
.
(Prov 29:14 KJV)  The king that faithfully judgeth the poor, his throne shall be established for ever.
.
The twisting of scriptures, taking isolated verses to justify immoral acts is so common these days even in the conservative evangelical . PAOC circles so that it is not even funny anymore.
.
A BAD PASTORAL BOARD, COUNSEL OR A BAD BOARD, COMMITTEE OF THIEVES? WHOSE TAX EXEMPTION PRIVILEGES CLEARLY RATHER SHOULD BE TAKEN AWAY, THE PAOC INCLUDED.
.
For example : A clearly greedy, misery, cheap, evangelical writer was wrongfully trying to justify his not giving of his income to any others, the poor people with the isolated Bible verses.. (Exo 20:17 KJV)  Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour’s. OR (Acts 5:4 KJV)  Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power?
.
AND he had falsely neglected the other verses of the bible that said to give to the poor and needy persons.  So I prayed and I asked God directly what he thought of it .. and he immediately replied to me.. (Luke 6:38 KJV)  Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.(Mat 19:21 KJV)  Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
.
(Luke 19:8 KJV)  And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken anything from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold.
.
(Deu 15:11 KJV)  For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land.
.
(3 John 1:2 KJV)  Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. 3  For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth. 4  I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth. 5  Beloved, thou doest faithfully whatsoever thou doest to the brethren, and to strangers;  6 Which have borne witness of thy charity before the church:
.
(1 John 2:10 KJV)  He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.
.
(Gal 5:16 KJV)  This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh 17   For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
.
(1 John 2:16 KJV)  For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17   And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
.
(Phil 4:11 KJV)  Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. 12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. 13   I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. 14  Notwithstanding ye have well done, that ye did communicate with my affliction.
.
(1 Tim 6:9 KJV)  But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. 10  For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 11   But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. 12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
.
(Deu 24:14 KJV)  Thou shalt not oppress an hired servant that is poor and needy, whether he be of thy brethren, or of thy strangers that are in thy land within thy gates: 15 At his day thou shalt give him his hire, neither shall the sun go down upon it; for he is poor, and setteth his heart upon it: lest he cry against thee unto the LORD, and it be sin unto thee.
.
(Rom 13:9 KJV)  For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
.
(1 Tim 6:8 KJV)  And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
.
(Heb 13:5 KJV)  Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
.
(Mat 6:19 KJV)  19  Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: 20  But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 21  For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. 22  The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.  23  But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! 24  No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. 25  Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? 26  Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? 27  Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? 28  And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: 29  And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30  Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? 31  Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32  (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33  But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 34  Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
.
(John 15:5 KJV)  I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. 6  If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
.
One of the most quoted verses for blessing, prosperity of the New Testament is also too often taken out of it’s context..
.
And the New testament content too is any financial blessing we get is to help our Christian brothers and sisters financially as well.. not solely indulging in ourselves too
.
(Deu 26:9 KJV)  And he hath brought us into this place, and hath given us this land, even a land that floweth with milk and honey. 10 And now, behold, I have brought the firstfruits of the land, which thou, O LORD, hast given me. And thou shalt set it before the LORD thy God, and worship before the LORD thy God: 11 And thou shalt rejoice in every good thing which the LORD thy God hath given unto thee, and unto thine house, thou, and the Levite, and the stranger that is among you.
.
2 Corinthians 9 7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

.
THERE IS ONLY ONE BIBLE, ONE FAITH FOR PERSONAL SALVATION , ONE FAITH  IN JESUS CHRIST ALONE, AND ONE BODY OF CHRIST, ONE GOD, AND ONE TEMPLE,  IT IS THE TRUE CHURCH OF JESUS THE CHRIST.
.
(Gen 28:21-22 KJV)  So that I come again to my father’s house in peace; then shall the LORD be my God:  Jacob said, “Of all that Thou shalt give me, I will surely give the tenth unto Thee”    FIRSTLY WAS A FREE WILL CHOICE..I also rightfully still do not endorse any Christians adds, anyone, any person, any organization, any Church  now trying to make any money from  selling the gospel, any of  Bibles, books, tapes listed   for sale too or begging, asking for money .  . Jesus said as we have freely received so we are freely to give. Hirelings in their greed and visible lack of faith don’t do that. I do believe we should all live by faith in God to supply our needs, and to have the faith for God to supply  it.  The Honorable Rev George Muellar did.
7  But we were gentle among you, even as a nurse cherisheth her children:
.
Too often now the preacher still wrongfully tells the flock  he’s their sole, responsible spiritual daddy and thus he always does knows what’s best for them, so now  also they would  better not take their full freedom in Christ too seriously and next try to do anything without consulting, obeying the preacher in all things too..
.
It is still not the preacher who is the head of the Church, Jesus Christ alone is, and it is still the Holy Spirit himself  who will lead and guide you into all truth.. for the preacher job rather firstly is to lead us to God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit.
.
When expounding the truth, the Bible the bad preacher often wears colored glasses it seems that say “What’s in it for me”, says the preacher too?So long as the preacher wears a nice suit, no matter how or how much he paid for his suit he is a good preacher it seemsMany Preachers do seem count  on your ignorance of the Word of God  as they often do also try  convince you you’re way too dumb to argue with them, for  God has spoken to them directly on the matter, and if you challenge them they tend to ignore you or kick you out..
.
(1 Cor 11:3 KJV)  But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

(Eph 4:15 KJV)  But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
.
(Eph 5:23 KJV)  For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
.
(John 14:16 KJV)  And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

(John 14:26 KJV)  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

God’s package through Jesus is very comprehensive.. it includes personal salvation, eternal life, full forgiveness of sins, the baptism of the Holy Spirit, healing too.. why do so many people only want to accept a part of it now too? So many people also do want to be made whole, well, but they do not want Jesus as their Lord in their life.. sorry that is not possible.. Jesus is the whole life, he is also the essential, only part of the whole healing. Jesus not only heals gradually, even by Doctors but also fully miraculously even today. Jesus can always do what Doctors cannot.

Is it True or false?

Acts 20: 29-31 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.  Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.  Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one day and night with tears.

II Peter 2:1: But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily (in a sneaky way) shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. 2  And many shall follow their pernicious ways (lascivious ways, as it reads in the margin); by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. 3  And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment of a long time slumbereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

(1 Cor 11:22 KJV)  What? have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the church of God, and shame them that have not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise you not.   (James 2:6 KJV)  But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats?

I Samuel 15:22: Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.  For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry.  Because thou hast rejected the Word of the Lord, he hath also rejected thee from being king

and where are  Jim Baker and Jimmy Swaggart and some of the others these days?

(Gal 2:10 KJV)  Only they would that we should remember the poor; the same which I also was forward to do. I John 3:18 exhorts us to love not just in word, but in deed and in truth.  Note –  Acts 4:35  “And laid them down at the apostles’ feet.  And distribution was made to every man according as he had need.” (The money was collected to support  the needy in the church and the   “tithing” occurs nowhere in this context!) Acts 5:4 “Whiles it remained, was it not thine OWN?  and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? THOU HAST NOT LIED UNTO MEN, BUT UNTO GOD. Acts 5:8  And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much.”  Now why is it so many preachers are not afraid of the lies they make to others, God that they make collecting the tithes, monies  today too?  Acts 20:27: “For I have not shunned to declare unto you ALL the counsel of God.” ” If monetary tithing had been in force in the early church Paul would surely have mentioned it.  Monetary tithing was not enforced in the Church until the sixth century A.D., when it was made church law  by two Catholic Church councils in Europe. ”   http://banpreachergreed.tripod.com/id1.html

Take specifically the case of Ananias and Sapphira.  Exactly what specific sin could the couple have committed that was so bad that next God would strike them dead for it?  Now  their sin even firstly had firstly NOTHING to do with stealing any of monetary tithing.  Their death didn’t even happen as punishment for being stingy with their freewill offerings or maybe failing to tithe but it was the clear sin now of “lying” to God firstly about the amount of their OWN money  supposedly donated and  not at all about any money they had owed to the church.  Ananias and his wife had  wanted a false credit for giving an amount he didn’t actually give. Like many people who make false church tax donations claims even today. Ananias and Sapphira were the equivalent of welfare cheats, in that they wanted to live off the church funds and still have something hidden away for personal use. Here were two wayward professing Christian sheep trying to pull the wool over God’s eyes, but they didn’t live to brag about it .

“How many “faith” preachers in our day hoard vast riches for themselves while crying to  “seed sowers” EVEN THOSE on Social Security  to send in money or they’ll go bust! ”  “How many of these evil religious, TITHE, donations peddlers shamelessly appeal to the story of Elijah being fed by the last of a starving widow’s flour and oil so they can put more bread in their bank account and fuel their own lusts! done all the while deliberately withholding  part of the Truth of His Word from the Body of Christ to leech off of poor brethren so they themselves can splash around in the lap of luxury!   ” Some of ye are sick and nigh unto death cause ye do approach the Lord’s table unworthily.

(1 Cor 11:27 KJV)  Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.  28    But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. 29  For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. 30   For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. 31  For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. 32   But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.

(1 Cor 10:21 KJV)  Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils. (1 Cor 6:2 KJV)  Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?   (Luke 16:11 KJV)  If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? (Luke 16:13 KJV)  No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. (Mat 6:25 KJV)  Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?  (Mat 6:31 KJV)  Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33   But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Reminds me of a women that I know with 3 kids, who had asked the  local church for social aid, so next they gave her 7,500 dollars , while she did not declare to them still that she had 25,000 dollars  in government bonds in a safe that she was saving for a rainy day.

Or the lying pastor that I knew too from Calgary Bearspaw House of faith  who tells everyone that he lived solely by faith in God to supply all of his finical needs neglecting to tell them he also has a church salary, and an expenditure budget. Ironically he simultaneously was even accused of falsifying and misappropriating  the expenditures and was eventually dismissed form the church for this too.

The age of grace did not cause God to overlook these unrepentant sins.

“Tithing Truth in a Nutshell

1. Unqualified religious leaders (Gentiles) should not take up tithes.

2. God’s tithe NEVER consisted of money!

3. NOWHERE in either Testament are Christians commanded to pay monetary tithes.

4. Tithes consisted only of agricultural produce.

5. Biblical tithes were also sometimes EATEN by the worshipper himself!

Deuteronomy 14: 22-27  deals with the Festival Tithe, one of three tithes paid by the laity of Israel.  I’ve been a believer for many, many years, and NOT ONCE have I ever heard this Scripture passage expounded on by any tithe-taking preacher.  I wonder why!

Verse 22 Thou shalt truly tithe all the increase (harvest) of thy seed, that the field bringeth forth year by year.

Verse 23 And thou (the tithe-payer!) shalt EAT before the LORD thy God, in the place which He shall chose to place His name there, the tithe of thy  corn, of thy wine, and of thy olive oil, and of the firstlings of thy herds and of thy flocks; that thou mayest learn to fear the LORD thy God always.  Tithes were EDIBLE things! Pottery makers and sandal makers didn’t tithe on their products. Unless you raised crops or livestock, you didn’t owe any tithes.

Verse 24 introduces the only context in the whole Bible where money is mentioned in conjunction with tithing!  And if the way be too long for thee, so that thou art not able to carry it; or if the place be too far from thee, which the Lord thy God shall choose to set His Name there, when the Lord thy God hath blessed thee;

Verse 25 Then thou shalt turn it into money, and bind up the money in thine hand, and shalt go unto the place which the Lord thy God shalt choose:

Verse 26 And thou shalt bestow that money for whatsoever thy soul lusteth after; for oxen, or for sheep,  or for wine, or for strong drink, or for whatsoever thy soul desireth: and THOU SHALT EAT  there before the Lord thy God, and thou shalt rejoice, thou and thy household,

Verse 27  And the Levite that is within thy gates; thou shalt not forsake him; for he hath no part nor inheritance with thee (in the Promised Land).

Numbers 18:21-24 says makes it plain that only the  sons of Levi were ever authorized by God to collect tithes, and only from the children of Israel. No other tribes of Israel were ever  supposed to collect tithes, and the Levitical priesthood ended in 70 A.D. when the Temple was destroyed

Old Testament tithes were never used for building projects, so why is that being done today?

Nowhere in Scripture is any Christian authorized to request the tithe.

Even Jesus did not finance His own ministry with tithes. If He had, He never would have had to say: The Son of Man hath nowhere to lay His head (Matt.8:20).

In Malachi  the purpose of the tithe was to keep FOOD, NOT MONEY, in God’s House (Malachi 3:10). Why?   The Levites (priestly tribe of Israel) were denied an inheritance (of real estate) in the Promised Land. The tithe was their compensation for this, and their reward for their Tabernacle service (Numbers 18:21-24).  Still other tithes were set aside to be  consumed by worshippers and the poor at their yearly festivals (Deut.12:17-18; 14:22-27)  . Every third year, a special tithe was stored up for the poor within the city gates (Deut.14:28-29).

Tithing was done six years out of every seven.  Every seventh year the Land was to lie fallow, to give the land a rest (Lev.25:1-4). No tithes would be collected that year at all.   Have you ever heard of any present churchgoer getting a rest every  seventh year from paying tithes?

Church Practices

EARLY CHURCH

MODERN CHURCH
Financial Contributions Free will offerings collected for the needy only, no tithing (2 Cor.9:7).  Members met in private homes (Rom.16:5; I Cor.16:19; Col.4:15) Tithing aggressively taught.  Non-tithers shamed.  Money provides pastor’s perks, building fund, landscaping, exciting programs, etc.
Pastoral support Freewill giving, leadership sometimes worked on side (2 Cor.11:9; I Thes.2:9) Leadership supported mainly through tithes, often live lavishly.
Church Authority Elders taught and led by example, but all related to one another as brethren (Matt.23:8; I Pet.5:3).  Only ONE Lord (Eph.4:5). Heirarchy of MANY lords run the institutional church, from senior pastor all the way down to the deacon.
Giving & Receiving EQUALITY of well-being preached by Paul (2 Cor.8:13-15).  All to have the same care one for another (I Cor.12:25). Poor parishioners support rich clergy.  Pastors drive fancy cars, take exciting holidays, and never stop begging for more.
Fellowship DAILY they fellowshipped and broke bread from house to house.  Christians shared possessions and looked after everyone’s well-being. (Acts 2:42-47) Churches divide into little cliques which some can’t fit into.  Lonely folks leave  church.  People say “hello” once a week and that’s it.  Occasional potluck meals, concerts, etc.
Church Ministry EVERYONE had something to contribute to service (I Cor.14:26; Eph.4:16).  No mention of pulpits, pews, etc.  The word “congregation” appears only in Old Testament, except for a gathering of Jews in Acts 13:43.  Clergy-laity divide didn’t exist in early church. “Pew saints” only pray, pay and obey. Ministry done mostly by pastor, visiting speakers and “song leaders”.  Congregation are mostly spectators. Even some Charismatic churches discourage spiritual gifts out of fear of offending visitors.
Evangelization Repentance toward God and faith toward Christ taught (Acts 20:21).  Preaching done in demonstration of the Spirit and in power (I Cor.2:4-5). Real faith bore witness  of Christ (Rom.1:8) Unconditional love of God preached, without mentioning “the wages of sin is death” (Rom.6:23). Free concerts for sinners. Positive messages only. Hell and God’s wrath against sin are taboo. Powerless sermons, keys to prosperity, self-help videos, slick marketing.

http://banpreachergreed.tripod.com/id57.html

It still is a a lack of living by faith and  a grave sin of covetness for all pastors to  distort, hold back part of God’s Truth from the church to protect, insure  their own financial income. All sorts of real sinners now had inhabited Jesus’ world  2000 years ago.  Harlots, thieves, tax collectors, even murderous brigands like Barabbas. But still now about the only sinners Jesus ever  chewed out in the Gospels were the self-righteous Pharisees, who devoured widows’ houses and turned their converts into twice the son of hell as themselves (Matt: 23:14-15).  That now includes those false preachers of today who would say that only if you tithe especially to the local pastor’s storehouse you are spiritual.

”  Making Merchandise of the Unpardonable Sin Ezekiel 13:22;  Acts 20:27-30

Desperate ministers of deceit are like bloodsuckers who try to squeeze the last drop dry from anemic sheep, the way they change their tactics from bad to worse as they sense the winds of change in My beleaguered body.  In time of abundance fishers for funds siphon off a little of the extra fat from well-to-do contributors and even urge poorer saints to be willing to tighten their belts and do without a few luxuries, supposedly for the sake of the “Kingdom of God.” They would dangle a glittery prosperity carrot before the bedazzled eyes of My people, promising that they would be repaid for their generosity on a ratio of a hundred to one. Scriptures would be jerked out of their context to prove I was the ultimate investment, and “you can’t get better odds in Vegas.”

What garbagey theology!  The promises I made to those who sow seeds into the Kingdom of God meant that a great harvest of souls would be reaped into My eternal Kingdom, and the good works of My Spirit of Grace would be spread abroad to bless many unto a newness of life.  As for those who are hardened in heart and love riches more than Me, their dirty money perish with them!  Now that times are harder for so many, they are switching from the carrot approach to the stick approach, both diabolical perversions of My Word.  Some are filling My children’s hearts with fear that I will execute them like Ananias and Sapphira if they withhold donations from their so-called ministries or refuse to tithe on money, which is nowhere commanded in My Word. Most of those deceivers know that robbing My people of their sustenance is a doctrine of devils!  Saints whom I have chosen to enter into My perfect rest of peace have been troubled and I shall surely trouble those who sow lies into their hearts, saith the Lord. Those greedy deceivers who make the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad, I shall make sad in return.  That is the only return they will get on their investment of lies. They shall surely have their day in the Court of Heaven to answer for what they have done to hurt and rob My Body.

Satan instills lying guilt feelings in millions of My children today because they are unable to give massive amounts of money to religious organizations.  Some are told that it is a sin against the Holy Ghost to be stingy in their contributions and they won’t get to heaven unless they open their wallets more.  Unfounded fear of being guilty of the unpardonable sin has ruined the peace and the health of so many of My children.  But the unpardonable sin has nothing to do with money!  It is a sin against the Love of God which is committed by attributing the wonderful works of My Spirit of Grace to the devil, or speaking slanderous words against My Holy Spirit, which brings eternal alienation from the only One Who can perform the marvelous work of redemption down in your inward parts.

The sin committed by Ananias and Sapphira was to lie to My Holy Spirit, not to refuse to fork over ten percent of their wages to bogus ministries.  If this couple had admitted to Peter that they lacked the faith to give all the price of the land and so were only giving part of the money to the church, they would have been spared judgment because they would not have been lying to the apostles. They were not even required to sell their land in the first place, for Peter said unto the couple, “While the land remained, was it not thine own? And after it was sold, was the money not in thine power?”  Ananias and Sapphira had the right to either keep their land or sell it, and after they sold it they even had the right to keep the money or just donate part of it.  But these deceivers wanted to gain credit for giving a bigger donation than they actually did, in order to live off the church common fund and hold something back for a rainy day.  But their rainy day came sooner than they expected, saith the Lord, because you cannot deceive Me.  I who weigh the thoughts and intents of the soul know what that two were conspiring against Me, to rob My people.

So who is robbing My people today; poor saints who withhold part of their paycheck from greedy ministers of darkness, or learned religious experts who withhold that part of the Truth of My Word which they find unprofitable, and then boldly declare unto My Church: “I have faithfully declared unto you ALL the counsel of God.”  Instead, they sell My people a pack of lies.

Most of the wolves in sheep’s clothing who try to scare My people with the story of Ananias and Sapphira KNOW that the real issue in it was lying to the Holy Spirit, not non-tithing or refusing to give a required donation.  But these same false ministers know their Bible inside out and yet they sit on truths I would share with My people which would liberate them from the bondage of fear.  These evil men and women take advantage of My people’s ignorance of scripture to pry “tithes” out of them, and to maximize their ministry income so they can live luxuriously like the parasites they are.  So who is really guilty, saith the Lord? Those who honestly cannot afford big contributions and don’t give unless I direct them to, or lying deceivers who hold back non-lucrative portions of My Word from their flocks?  Poor, destitute saints who hold back part of the amount these mooches want find out in a hurry that it makes these men mean enough to breathe threats at them from the pulpit and over the air. They just can’t stand to have their luxurious lifestyle cramped by the poverty of their listeners. And so these men withhold truths unprofitable to their banks accounts; scriptural truths of the Gospel of Grace which expose the darkness and folly of the lies of the Gospel of Greed.  Liberating truths are suppressed which would profit My Body and set them free from the lies which fill them with fear.

I will surely go from place to place, saith the Lord, and I shall cut the leeches off My Body.  And I shall surely cut the fetters off My people so they can walk in the liberty unto which I have called them.  ”  http://banpreachergreed.tripod.com/id1.html

“Acts Chapter 15 tells of a great theological dispute among early church leaders. Were non-Jewish believers obligated to keep the Law of Moses in order to earn and keep their salvation?  None other than the Apostle Peter says that if the Old Law was hard for Jews to bear, why should Gentile believers, who were already justified by faith, have that burdensome yoke placed on them?

The apostles reached a sensible decision.  Only four restrictions would be placed upon the  liberty of the Gentile believers:

   To refrain from:

     1. Foods offered to Idols
     2. Fornication
     3. Meat from strangled animals
     4. The consumption of blood

Those original builders of the Church believed that if just those four things were observed, God could surely take care of the rest. Conspicuous by its absence is the Law of Tithing.”
http://banpreachergreed.tripod.com/id11.html

(Luke 14:26 KJV)  If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.

(Luke 14:33 KJV)  So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.

“Preachers are committing this sin by adding Tithing on Wages, NOWHERE taught even under the Old Law!  Preachers latch onto the ten per cent figure because it seems like a good idea, regardless of what God thinks.  But they neglect the Israelites’ third-year tithe taken to feed the poor

(Deut.14:28-29).

It is still not the preacher who is the head of the Church, Jesus Christ alone is, and it is still the Holy Spirit himself  who will lead and guide you into all truth.. for the preacher job rather firstly is to lead us to God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit.

When expounding the truth, the Bible the bad preacher often wears colored glasses it seems that say “What’s in it for me”, says the preacher too?

So long as the preacher wears a nice suit, no matter how or how much he paid for his suit he is a good preacher it seems

Many Preachers do seem count  on your ignorance of the Word of God  as they often do also try  convince you you’re way too dumb to argue with them, for  God has spoken to them directly on the matter, and if you challenge them they tend to ignore you or kick you out..

(1 Cor 11:3 KJV)  But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

No matter what the goal is, or how valueable it maybe,  leading others to Christ included, the ends do not justify the means by anyone, pastors, elders, deacons, others , and cheating, lying, stealing included now.. How you get there is as important as where you are going. Asked also now Moses and all the people of Israel who missed the promised Land cause they had simply refused to do it God’s way.

(Mat 5:19 KJV)  Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

The False Jesus Name Apostolic Holiness Church, Oneness Pentecostal Christianity

Many persons do not want to admit it, or to deal with it, but there are good and bad churches, good and bad pastors, good and bad elders, good and bad denominations today still.
.

Now as you all do know there are always good and bad churches too, the good and bad Pentecostal churches now as well..

.

It would be one thing if Mormonism, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Unitarian Jews, and Oneness Pentecostals all had similar religions, practices, and beliefs. But they do not. Their religions, practices, and beliefs ALL WILDLY DIVERGE. THE ONLY THING THAT THEY HAVE IN COMMON IS THAT THEY ALL USE THE SAME ARGUMENTS TO DENY TRINITY AND USE THE SAME LANGUAGE TO DESCRIBE THOSE WHO BELIEVE IN IT. Influenced by the same Devil.

.

TD Jakes has a huge ministry and a wide influence, but much of what he teaches is very troubling. Some of what he teaches is even heretical. .a Oneness Doctrine.  Oneness Pentecostalism (aka Jesus Only) resurfaced around 1913 just after the Azusa Street Pentecostal revival. It is itself another revival of what has been called Sabellianism (after Sabellius excommunicated 220 AD) and Modalistic (modes; ways) Monarchianism (one king). I can tell you assuredly that TD Jakes believes there is one God. We do as well. However, he believes God is a single (cognizant ego) person who showed (manifested) himself, and/or acted in three different ways (modes or dimensions).

.
“Oneness Pentecostalism” is a descriptive name for an anti-trinitarian religious movement that developed over the course of the twentieth century . As a movement, it has existed in various denominational forms and organizations, with its largest current manifestation being the United Pentecostal Church International. In most of its major forms it has been distinguished by: *A commitment to baptism in Jesus’ name rather than in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (including re-baptism for those baptized supposedly wrong the first time);  An accompanying rejection of the traditional Trinitarian doctrine held by the historic Christian churches;  A consequent rejection of the pre-existence of the Son of God. – Their own Personal Bible ignorance and too much listening to mere men has led them astray.
.

The Bible declares God the Father, called the Ancient of Days (see Daniel 7, especially verses 9, 13, and 22) to be King in various places. The Bible declares God the Son, called the Angel of the Lord in His preincarnate form (see Joshua 5:14-15, also Exodus 3:4-6 cross referenced with Exodus 3:2Acts 7:30Acts 7:35 ) and the Word of God (John 1:1-18, Proverb 8 especially verse 30) and Jesus Christ to be King. However, the Holy Spirit, called the Spirit of God the Father (Matthew 10:20Isaiah 61:1, Luke 4:18) and the Spirit of God the Son (Galatians 4:6, Romans 8:9, Isaiah 61:1Luke 4:18) is never declared to be King by scripture at any time.  How is this possible if you support a Oneness doctrine?

.

A very lively good church is led by the Holy Spirit and the  right, godly leaders.. and  in a very bad church   the shepherds are bad.. led mostly by the devil and self.  And believe me when I say most shepherds are bad still. Great demonic confusion surrounds thus the  Christian doctrine of the baptism of the Holy Spirit even among the Baptists, Evangelicals, Dispensationalists, even Jews  mainly because there are too many ignorant  fools who  try to teach, explain something they themselves have still have never personally experienced yet.

.
One other way you can spot a cult, a bad church, a bad denomination is their false attempts of claiming to be exclusive, they thus are composed of mainly a certain segment of society generally.. poor people with nothing to give  generally excluded too.
.
Bad people ALSO  by their own free will choose to do bad things cause it TOO  OFTEN suits their bad moral values too.
.
The Apostolics, Jesus Only or United , Oneness Pentecostals Are Severely Flawed
 .
The Apostolics Pentecostals are non-trinitarian, embrace baptismal regeneration and   Their confused belief that Jesus is also the Father (and the Holy Spirit) is shocking. Without question, they do NOT understand the plan of salvation or the salvation of the soul, as declared in the Bible. It is to your advantage to avoid the Apostolics.
 .
All through the Scriptures we find evidence that Jesus is not the Father, but is deity (God by nature) like the Father. With all of this evidence about plurality between the Father and Son, how Apostolics have been deceived about this is alarming to say the least. It seems once again that a creed or doctrinal confession has been the basis for one’s personal belief rather than the Holy Scriptures. The truth is: Jesus is not the person of the Father, but he is deity like the Father. May the Apostolics be helped.
 .
The Apostolics   Pentecostals FALSELY DENY THE  Trinity. The Trinity is a very important Biblical doctrine for all to know about because there are a lot of groups that deny the Trinity. The Apostolics are just one;
.

So  yes there are also too many false professing Christians churches who in reality do not listen, hear from Jesus but mainly from mere men, and they are doing their own thing, generally a cultural thing..

.
Dispensationalists and Christian Zionists  are not the only cultish professing Christians groups as  there are others now as well.. As the Jesus Name Apostolic Holiness Church,  Oneness Pentecostal Christianity IS STILL A CULT, IT IS NOT A TRUE PENTECOSTAL CHURCH.. but there are true, GOOD  Pentecostal Christian  churches still.
Pentecostal  Christians generally do differ from many other Christian organizations by their belief in the existence of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, miracles, gifts of the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues today.
.

NOW  WHILE MANY PERSONS SEEM TO HOP FROM CHURCH TO CHURCH LOOKING FOR THAT FULFILLMENT TO A SPECIFIC NEED, MANY PERSONS ARE NOT FAMILIAR WITH OTHER CHURCHES AND THEIR DIFFERENCES..AND CAN BE STUCK IN A RUT.. ESPECIALLY THOSE IN THE BAPTIST, CHRISTIAN MISSIONARY ALLIANCE  AND THE APOSTOLIC,  ONENESS PENTECOSTAL CHURCHES. I KNOW I HAVE BEEN TO THEM AS WELL

.
A DEFINITE  fool had in a church boasted to me he never missed a church service for 5 years,  in an evangelical church of all things, but he  also thought that all religions were the same.. what just like all food is the same and good to eat?… dream on… imagine this he had attended church for 5 years but he still could not hear Jesus talking to him yet… because Jesus  was not his Lord yet..  and cause he clearly had bad pastors who did not tell the whole truth, preach the full gospel to him, how absurd. Well I am not that kind of a pastor. Thank God.

.
Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
.
Yes there is only one God..
.
But the Oneness teachers  who like the dispensationalists,  are very new to the Christian religious scene as well, say, falsely that Biblical passages indicate that the Son was only a thought or plan in the Father’s mind when the Father (Jesus’ divine nature) created all things. Rather the Son is biblically (exegetically) presented as the Creator of all things Himself.
.
It is always possible for anyone  to identify the right God and yet have some wrong, unbiblical ideas about him. Where is the line between worshiping the wrong God, and worshiping the right God the wrong way? Many people even worship a false Jesus undeniably as well and preach a false Gospel, not the full Gospel of Jesus Christ..
.
Now anyone who really knows the Bible would not be so much in error to support now also any of the Oneness Pentecostals.. Rather these more  Oneness teachers do firstly show to all as to how little they do personally know of the Bible, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit now too..
.
That the Son was the Creator clearly disproves firstly the Oneness position.  If the Son did not eternally exist with the Father as a distinct Person why is it that the “Son” can say, “Now, Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had [eichon, or “shared”] with You before the  world  was” (emphasis added)?  How did the Son have (literally, actively possessed) glory with (para) the Father before time if the Son did not exist before Bethlehem?.
.
” There are two ways to deny the doctrine of the Trinity.  One way is to reject the divinity of Christ, assigning him the rank of a created being.  This is the error of subordinationism.  Subordinationists come in many varieties, ranging from those who say that Christ is simply a human being (ebionites, Socinians, modern liberal theology) to those who say that Christ is the greatest creature, the first thing made by God, far higher than human or even angelic creation (Arians, Jehovah’s Witnesses).  We might call this type of anti-trinitarianism the left-wing denial of the Trinity, because rejection of the divinity of Christ is so typical of modern liberal theology, and requires its adherents to cast off a major element of Christian faith. But there is another way to deny Trinitarian orthodoxy, and that is to consider Jesus to be so utterly and exhaustively divine that he is all there is to God.  In this case, Jesus Christ’s divinity is recognized, but his relationship to the Father and his dependence on the Spirit are not acknowledged to be anything but his relationship to his own divinity.  So confident are these teachers that Jesus is God, that they begin to think of him as the one unipersonal God taking on human nature.  This view immediately raises the question of who Jesus Christ the Son of God is talking to when he prays to his Father.  Since Jesus is all there is of God, he must be talking in prayer to himself somehow, and it must be himself in some other mode of being.  Like subordinationism, this heresy comes in many varieties, but the family name that comprehends all its varieties is modalism.”   and in some ways subordinationists (Jehovah’s Witnesses or liberal theologians) are in fact twice as bad as modalists (Oneness Pentecostals). Oneness Pentecostalism,   has grasped its original bad idea more tightly as the years went by, and has allowed its commitment to push it into a major revision of the Christian doctrines of God and Christ.  The origin of Oneness Pentecostalism is relevant because it shows that in a flash of revelation in 1914 a divisive new idea was seized on, and that idea (Jesus-only baptism) was cultivated into a full-scale revision of the Christian doctrine of God.  This kind of radicalism is always a sign of a lack of balance and perspective. –  http://www.patheos.com/blogs/scriptorium/2011/09/oneness-pentecostalism-an-analysis/#sthash.oJZnchY2.dpuf
.
An evangelist   R. E. McAlister in 1913 preached on the discrepancy between the command in Matthew 28:19 to “baptize in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit,” and the Apostles’ reported practice of baptizing in the name of the Lord, or of Jesus (Acts 2:38 et al). Frank J. Ewart began pondering McAlister’s sermon and he falsely discovered a way to harmonize the two baptisms: the name “Jesus” must be the actual name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, the one name into which we are to be baptized. “ If “Jesus” is the name of the Father, Son, and Spirit, then Jesus is himself the exhaustive totality of what had mistakenly been called the Trinity. The ancient Christian doctrine of God would have to be modified drastically to fit the new “apostolic” understanding of baptism. “ The devil there took a good religious movement and sent it into a major tailspin in the wrong direction now too.The new practice  of re-baptism to achieve theological correctness and the new doctrine of the anti-trinitarian Jesus-centered modalism  forced the  fledgling Assemblies of God movement  and in October 1916, Oneness teachers were rightfully expelled
.
When the Apostle  Paul undeniably says that “God sent forth his Son in the fullness of time,” trinitarians infer rightfully this to mean  that God must have had a Son to send forth when the time came.  But the Oneness Pentecostals   interpret this biblical language to mean that when the time came, God put into action his plan to begin a new mode of existence among men, which he would call “the Son.” Wow!! what a big Biblical  error.. This contradicts John 1: 1  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2    The same was in the beginning with God. 3    All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4    In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5    And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
.
and this  all substantiates “the eternal pre-existence of the Son”. Pre-existence is also the best way to make sense of the famous passage in Philippians 2, in which Paul exhorts his readers to “have this mind in yourself which was also in Christ Jesus, who being in the form of God, did not grasp equality with Him, but made Himself nothing, taking on the form of a servant…”  Similarly, in Galatians Paul says that “when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his son, born of a woman.” True Cnristians do say “We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.”
.
Now  reading  the Gospel of John again you can certainly also notice that Jesus Christ is practically totally obsessed  with his Holy Father. He prays to the Father, teaches about the Father, explains the love he and the Father have for each other, claims to be sent by the Father, looks forward to returning to the Father, asks the Father to glorify him with the glory they shared before the foundation of the world, etc. It is  here very clear that Jesus stands personally before another existing divine person, the Father and he Jesus  is not talking solely to himself.
.
Yes Oneness Pentecostalism” is a descriptive name for an anti-trinitarian religious movement that developed over the course of the twentieth century.  it has existed in various denominational forms and organizations, with its largest current manifestation being the United Pentecostal Church International. In most of its major forms it has been distinguished by:
.
*A commitment to baptism in Jesus’ name rather than in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (including re-baptism for those baptized wrong the first time);
.
*An accompanying rejection of the traditional Trinitarian doctrine held by the historic Christian churches;
.
*A consequent rejection of the pre-existence of the Son of God.
.
Sometimes (but not always) these churches are also characterized by:
*Legalism that manifests itself in making salvation depend on water baptism using the Jesus-only formula, baptism in the Holy Spirit with accompanying signs of tongues-speaking, and maintaining specific standards of conduct.
.
*Splitting Jesus Christ into a human person and a separate divine person, so that the one can pray to the other as “the Father.” (This is a form of the Nestorian heresy);
.
This again  the greatest weakness of the Oneness position: For if the Son created, then, He eternally existed with the Father.
.
“There is one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect, and eternally existing in three separate manifestations: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.” is a major error called Modalism, which  is a heresy that teaches the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit do not simultaneously exist as distinct persons   Rather, God at some times and places is the Father, at some times the Son, and other times the Holy Spirit. Trinity is  defined : “There is one God in whom there are three eternal, simultaneous persons — the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit.  All three are the one God, coeternal, coequal, etc.,   The keywords here are “three manifestations.”
.
If Oneness doctrine (or Modalism) is the so-called doctrine of the apostles, then, why was it universally condemned as *heretical* by the early church Fathers (some of who were disciples of the original apostles) and condemned by all the important church councils and creeds?
.
Modalism is probably the most common theological error concerning the nature of God.  It is a denial of the Trinity. Modalism states that God is a single person who, throughout biblical history, has revealed Himself in three modes, or forms.  Thus, God is a single person who first manifested himself in the mode of the Father in Old Testament times.  At the incarnation, the mode was the Son and after Jesus’ ascension, the mode is the Holy Spirit.  These modes are consecutive and never simultaneous.  In other words, this view states that the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit never all exist at the same time, only one after another.  Modalism denies the distinctiveness of the three persons in the Trinity even though it retains the divinity of Christ. Present day groups that hold to forms of this error are the United Pentecostal and United Apostolic Churches.  They deny the Trinity, teach that the name of God is Jesus, and require baptism for salvation.  These modalist churches often accuse Trinitarians of teaching three gods.  This is not what the Trinity is.  The correct teaching of the Trinity is one God in three eternal coexistent persons:  The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.; and if they are in error on this essential Christian error I can assure you there are many many other errors in their lives too.
.
United Pentecostal and United Apostolic Churches falsely do deny Trinitarian orthodoxy, as they do consider Jesus to be so utterly and exhaustively divine that he is all there is now to God’s nature. In this case, Jesus Christ’s divinity is recognized, but his relationship to the Father and his dependence on the Spirit are not acknowledged to be anything but his relationship to his own divinity. Clearly not what the Bible demonstrates. They the Oneness Pentecostals falsely begin to think of him Jesus-God as the one unipersonal God taking on human nature. This view immediately raises the question of who Jesus Christ the Son of God is talking to when he prays to his Father. Since Jesus is all there is of God, he must be talking in prayer to himself somehow, and anyway it must be himself in some other mode of being. They are Unorthodox as they not only do do deny the Trinity. but they  do Baptize  in the name of the Lord Jesus rather than in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. and are legalistic, and do not preach the full, true gospel.; Deny justification by faith alone by stating that baptism is also required for salvation or that Baptism is necessary for salvation. Baptism must be administered by an ordained Oneness minister to be valid. They also do lie when they say that Only Oneness people will go to heaven, if you have not met THEIR PARTICULAR CULT’S requirements for salvation then you’re going to go to hell. They clearly are also representatives of the classic cult mind control. Even here a false religion is among Satan’s oldest traps and cults of Christianity too. They’ve believed another gospel and have invented another Jesus and they seek after converts in order to make them twice the sons of hell that they are themselves.
.
If Jesus is the Father, why is there not a single passage that states this in the NT or the OT? The fact is,  Jesus is explicitly referred to as “the Son” over 200 times in the NT–never as Father or Holy Spirit.  In the NT, Jesus refers to the Father over 200 times as someone else.  The truth is that the New Testament itself teaches over and over that Jesus is the Son of God and Son of man, but He is NEVER ONCE called the Father.
.
Further, the Father and Jesus are mentioned in the same verse over 50 times. Further, 179 times, Jesus refers to the Father as “the Father,” “my Father,” or “your Father” in the Gospels as distinct from himself, at no time does he refer to “my Son” or anything of the sort as distinct from himself! Forty times in John’s Gospel, Jesus refers to himself as “sent by the Father,” but never does he refer to himself as the Father who sent the Son;
.
It is true that we are so committed to the deity of Christ (rightly so!) that while we can easily see how this doctrine could be under-emphasized, By the Mormons and Jehovah Witnesses for example., it may be  hard for some of us to imagine how it would be possible also to over-emphasize it. Yet over-emphasizing or misunderstanding Christ’s deity is exactly what Oneness Pentecostals have falsely done. The  Oneness theology also  falsely denies Jesus Christ’s eternal existence
.
If anyone had  believed in the Trinity he should use words like “simultaneous,” “coeternal,” or “coequal” when referring to the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit’s relationship to one another.;
.
But also now God is no longer just a Spirit.. as you know he took on a Body.. your spirit God is now Jesus Christ in the flesh.. Jesus who is God now has a visible body.. that he ascended to heaven with as well.. Jesus’s real  Body is  all part of the trinity. Trinity is a valid  biblical doctrine and you would know this if you do  know of the Bible, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit now too..
.
And  John 20:24 But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came. 26 And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.  27 Then saith he to Thomas, reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.  28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. 29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.;

Who is Steve Winter?

“Steve Winter is a defrocked pastor (apparently by the same man who ordained him – Marvin Arnold) and the operator of a system known as “PRIME.ORG”. He lives in Durham, NC, and is also a re-seller of computer equipment1. At one point, he had begun to re-sell internet services (presumably from PSI), though that ISP TOS’d him (see below).  He continues to list internet access on his web page, so he is likely reselling from or through his current provider.   Mr. Winter claims to be a Reverend representing “Jesus Name Apostolic Holiness Church, Inc.” He operates a Web page ( http://www.prime.org ) which describes his particular doctrinal distinctive. He claims the page is a ministry of the a fore mentioned church. ” http://users.rcn.com/sadams.enteract/winfaq.html   http://adamsemail.net/winter/winfaq.html

Oneness Pentecostalism is a movement of Pentecostal Christianity that believes in the atoning death of Jesus Christ, His resurrection, His soon return, and the inerrancy of the Word of God as contained in the Bible, but differs from mainstream Pentecostalism by following the doctrine of Oneness. Oneness Pentecostalism teaches a literal interpretation of the biblical teaching of salvation with emphasis on the teaching of Jesus Christ & His Apostles, citing “John 3:1-12&”Acts 2:38 experience” as necessary for salvation and places special emphasis on the direct personal experience of God through the baptism of the Holy Spirit, as shown in the Biblical account of the Day of Pentecost. It teaches that personal conversion is to be followed by holy living and exhibiting the fruit of the SpiritGalatians 5:22.Although both Oneness and Trinitarian denominations acknowledge the God of the Bible as the only God in existence, and that Jesus was born, died, and resurrected, Oneness doctrine differs from mainstream Christian denominations in that the traditional concept of the Trinity is rejected as an inadequate and inaccurate description of God. According to the United Pentecostal Church International, the largest Oneness Pentecostal body in the United States, Oneness Pentecostals identify Jesus essentially as the human manifestation of God (Jehovah), i.e. God incarnate. [1].Citing 1Timothy 2:5, the Oneness doctrine affirms that God is indivisibly one, and sees the biblical distinction between God the Father and the man Jesus, as being a proper, observable father-son distinction, except between an incorporeal, transcendent, eternal God as Father, and a human, begotten man as Son, in whom God manifested Himself for the purpose of salvation. Oneness doctrine affirms the full deity of Jesus, by holding that God incarnate manifested Himself to humanity in the man Jesus. It refutes the Trinitarian proposal that the one, true God is comprised of three co-divine, co-equal, co-eternal, co-powerful persons. In the sense that the one God and one man of 1Timothy 2:5 co-exist simultaneously, they teach that Jesus exists simultaneously both as man Jesus and as God (God the Father an invisible, transcendent, Spirit) inseparably united (see John 10:30) as the Son of God. Citing John 4:24 (God is a Spirit), Oneness doctrine uses the terms God the Father and Holy Spirit as references to the same one God, who is Spirit. It affirms that the Holy Spirit and God the Father are one in the same Godhead, but only as separate manifestations or relationships of the one person or being that is God.”Oneness”, “Apostolic” and “Jesus’ Name” are adherents’ preferred self-designations.[1].Oneness Pentecostals have also been identified as “Holy Rollers” for their lively style of worship, which can include running church aisles, known as victory marches, as well as jumping, dancing, shouting, and clapping. This label is generally used as a negative term by critics. The church services are also punctuated at times with acts of speaking in tongues (glossolalia), interpretations of tongues, prophetical messages, and the laying of hands for the purposes of healing. These events can happen spontaneously during normal service with no forewarning or direct guidance by the leader of the service, or more often at massive altar calls where the entire congregation is encouraged to come and pray together for various purposes at the altar.Oneness Pentecostals commonly refer to all saved Christians as saints and often refer to the men as brothers and the women as sisters, often as a title (i.e. Bro. Smith or Sis. Henderson),in their normal day-to-day speech both in and outside of church. While the UPCI, PAW, and other Oneness Pentecostal churches do allow women to serve as pastors and evangelize, some Oneness Pentecostals hold the belief that women ministers are unscriptural. Ministers at all levels are allowed to marry and have children. Homosexual marriages are forbidden under all circumstances.

.

The so-called Apostolic churches, also called “United Pentecostal” churches (not to be confused with other Pentecostal churches) together with their independent church break-offs form the cult known as “Jesus Only”.  This “Jesus Only Movement”, which is in fact not of Jesus, has been making its move to infiltrate and lead astray and away the flocks of other churches with a false spirit renewal, legalistic teaching and a call to pseudo-holiness.
 .
One of the most subtle forms of doctrinal deviation ever to infiltrate the Christian Church was known as Sabellianism (named after Sabellius, a Latin theologian of the third century). Sabellius taught that God was one Person, not three, and that He appeared in “modes” or “manifestations” – as the Father, as the Son, or as the Holy Spirit. For Sabelluis, however, the Father alone was truly God, the Son and the Spirit being repetitions of Himself in other “modes” or “manifestations.” Sabellius was condemned for his views, his modalistic theology refuted, and the heresy that he spawned was rejected by the early Christian Church.http://biblefacts.org/cult/oneness.html

Oneness Pentecostals of all branches affirm the authority of the Bible for doctrine. Many, however, utilize only the King James Version to proof text their unique doctrines. In addition, many Oneness advocates rely on the unbiblical revelations received by various Oneness leaders whom they regard as divinely inspired or anointed interpreters of the Bible. For example, many in UPCI consider the writings of Frank Ewart and John G. Scheppe as authoritative.

The Oneness Pentecostal view of God is similar to the ancient heresy of Modalism. Modalism is the belief that one God existed in time in three distinct modes of being: first as the Father in heaven; second, bodily as the Son on earth; and finally as the Holy Spirit.

The Bible indeed teaches the existence of only one God (Deut. 6:4). Nonetheless, historic Christianity maintains that the doctrine of the Trinity (or tri-unity of God) is taught in Scripture. The Bible teaches that the one God exists eternally in three separate and distinct Persons of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Colossians 2:9 does not teach that the totality of the Godhead was in the body of Jesus, but rather that Jesus embodied the totality of the divine nature and God is totally revealed in Him. If the Father and the Son are the same person, then the Oneness teachers have a difficult job explaining how the Father and the Son can love each other (See Matt. 3:17; 17:5; John 3:35; 5:20; 2 Pet. 1:17), talk to each other (see John 11:41-42; 12:28; 17:1-26), and know each other (see Matt. 11:27; Luke 10:22; John 7:29).

Matthew 28:19 clearly reflects the trinitarian concept that the “name” (authority and characteristics) of the one God is incorporated in the three Persons of the Godhead: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (see 1 Cor. 8:6; 12:4-6; 2 Cor. 1:21-22; 13:14; 1 Pet. 1:2). (See the following verses affirming the personality and deity of the Holy Spirit: Luke 12:12; John 15:26; Acts 5:3-10; 13:2-4; 1 Cor. 12:11; Eph. 4:30; Heb. 3:7.)

Although God alone is the Judge, this does not mean that only God judges
.
What Are the Restrictions on Judging?
.
Although Scripture shows that God expects, equips, and commands man to judge, there are stipulations that govern this decree.
.
We must not be hypocrites when judging others. God states that when we judge others for committing sins that we partake in, we are condemning ourselves. (Matthew 7:1-5; Luke 6:37-42; Romans 2:1-5; Romans 2:20-23) This is clearly depicted in God’s judgement of David for the killing of Uriah. The prophet Nathan approached David for judgement regarding a story of a rich man that had stolen from a poor man. Yet, after David pronounces his judgement, Nathan’s words were”Thou art the man…” (II Samuel 12:1-7) This is what God is warning us. We will be measured by the same yardstick with which we measure others.
.
We are also told not to judge according to appearances or by the flesh (John 7:24; John 8:15; James 2:1-4). This means that sound judgement cannot be based on what we see, hear, or think. Since God’s thoughts and ways are are higher than ours, He is not bound by our perceptions, opinions, or prejudices. This again is a confirmation that God alone is The Judge. Our judgements must therefore be based in His word in order for them to be true.
.
We are not to judge others regarding legalistic adherence to ordinances such as holyday (holiday) observances and what to eat or drink, for such are only matters of faith (Romans 14:1-23; I Corinthians 8:7-13; I Corinthians 10:28-33; Colossians 2:16-23). Scripture states that in Christ we have liberty which frees us from the law of sin and death (Luke 4:18; Romans 8:21; I Corinthians 10:29; II Corinthians 3:17; Galatians 2:4; Galatians 5:1, 13; James 1:25; James 2:12; I Peter 2:16; ). This is the same liberty that allows Paul to say, “All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.” (I Corinthians 10:23) Although the Son has made us free, we can only walk in this liberty to the degree that we have faith in God. This is why we are told to be “fully persuaded in our own minds” because “whatever is not done in faith is sin.” (Romans 14:5, 23) If someone – whom the Scripture describes as having weaker faith – chooses to adhere to such ordinances, they are doing so as unto the Lord. To judge them is to place a stumbling block before them because you are attempting to get them to commit what in their minds is sin. (Romans 14:13; Romans 9:32) This is why we are warned, “But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumbling block to them that are weak.” (I Corinthians 8:9) Likewise, those who are walking in the liberty of Christ should not be judged by those who choose to adhere to such ordinances. As stated in I Corinthians 10:29-30, “Conscience, I say, not thine own, but of the other: for why is my liberty judged of another man’s conscience? For if I by grace be a partaker, why am I evil spoken of for that for which I give thanks?” Those who make judgments in these areas are mistaking matters of faith for matters of doctrine.
.
We should not judge anyone’s eternal destiny. Although we will judge the truth (in ourselves, in others and in doctrine) based on the Word of God, only God can bring about the consequences of His judgements: justification for the righteous and condemnation for the wicked (I Kings 8:32; II Chronicles 6:23). I Corinthians 4:3-5 states,”But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man’s judgment: yea, I judge not mine own self. For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord. Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.”
.
Here Paul says that although he will be judged by his brethren, justification can only occur from the Lord and will only be known at Jesus’ second coming. God alone knows the end of the matter from the beginning.
.
The primary stipulation given for Christians regarding judging is that we are not to proclaim our own judgements (based on our opinions) but to pronounce the judgements of God (based on truth). Jesus serves as the best example in this manner. “I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.” (John 5:30)
.
Here Jesus confirms that all true judgement comes from God alone, but He also sets forth the criteria for what constitutes just judgements. Jesus says that because He places His will in subjection to God the Father, He is able to hear God’s words and be sent by God to pronounce His judgements. Again in John 8:15-16 Jesus asserts that only judgements that come from God are true, “Ye judge after the flesh; I judge no man. And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me.”
.
We should not base judgements on malicious lies or evil misrepresentations. “Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge. There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?” (James 4:11-12) To speak evil of in this Scripture is the Greek word Katalaleo which means to malign, vilify, or traduce. It means exposing someone to contempt or shame based on false witness. This is why James says that such judgements are actually judgements of the law, because false testimony is a perversion of the law. Obviously, we should not judge others under these conditions. It should also be noted that these are the circumstances under which Jesus was judged by the religious leaders of His day (Matthew 26:59-66; Mark 14:55-64). They sought false witnesses by which they could judge Him for blasphemy. Further, we are warned that as Christians, we should expect to be subjected to these same “evil” judgements by the world. “Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.” (I Peter 3:16, also I Peter 2:12)
.
Why Are We To Judge?
.
According to the Bible, the act of judging righteously is a benefit to the individual Christian and to the body of believers as a whole. Judging helps to sanctify the individual believer, prepares us to do the work of God, protects us from heretical doctrine that jeopardizes our faith, makes us an effective witness for Christ, and is a demonstration of God’s grace to others.
.
Judge Ones’ Self
.
“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.” (John 17:17)
Judging ones’ self with the Word of God is a key part of the process of sanctification through which every believer proceeds. This is why we are told to examine ourselves to see if we be in the faith. (II Corinthians 13:5) This is not simply an act of casual reflection. God is charging us, “Judge yourself to see if you really are what you claim!” Does the fruit of our lives attest to the words of our lips? Although we proclaim to be Christians, do our day-to-day lives line up to the Word of God? Christ has come in direct opposition to the god of this world, the Father of lies. To combat the lies, Jesus presents us with incorruptible Truth. It is only by submitting to this Truth that the Spirit of God can be a lamp unto our feet, searching out our souls and turning our stony hearts into hearts of flesh. (Psalms 119; Acts 26:18; Romans 15:16; Ephesians 5:26-27; I Corinthians 6:11; II Corinthians 3:3; I Thessalonians 5:23; II Thessalonians 2:13; I Peter 1:2, 22)
.
Sanctification is not a one time, immediate change that occurs when we accept Christ. It is a process of being cleansed through the washing of the water by the word whereby we can be transformed into the image of God as we walk in relationship with Him. It is this process of judging ones’ self that prompted David to cry out, “Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” (Psalms 139:23-24)
.
As we judge our own selves in the light of God’s word we continue in the process of sanctification, which is the will of God for every Christian. “For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication: That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour.” (I Thessalonians 4:3-4) In fact, the Apostle Paul said that if we would simply judge ourselves, we will not be condemned when God judges us. “For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.” (I Corinthians 11:31-32)
.
Not only does judging one’s self keep you in a place of being sanctified by God, it is only then that we are made fit for the Master’s use. “If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.” (II Timothy 2:21)
.
“Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.”
.
First, this Scripture does not say to simply ark those who cause divisions or offenses (although this is what many who will say not to judge would like us to believe). It says to mark those who cause divisions or offenses by espousing doctrine that is contrary to Scripture. This is an important distinction because it implies that there are divisions or offenses that are not contrary to Scripture. In fact, Scripture itself can be such a division or offense. We are told that the Word of God is a sword dividing the wheat from the chaff, both within the inner being of an individual and between individuals. (Ephesians 6:17; Hebrews 4:12; Matthew 10:34-36) Further, both the written and the incarnate Word of God are referred to as a rock of offense (Romans 9:33; I Peter 2:7-8) Every Christian needs to settle in their minds that the Word of God will be considered divisive and offensive by those who rebel against God. If you have determined that you will not “judge” so as to avoid these accusations, then you have essentially chosen not to be a witness for Christ.
.
I Timothy 4:16 also states that it is not only important to take heed to the doctrine but to continue in it. This is precisely the type of problem that the Apostle Paul was addressing in Galatians 1:6-7, “I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.” We are further warned that in the last days these doctrines of devils will be more prevalent and persuasive than ever, even to the point of deceiving the elect of God – if it were possible to do so. (Matthew 10:11; Matthew 24:24; Mark 13:22; II Thessalonians 2:3; I Timothy 4:1-5; II Timothy 4:3-4)
.
Lastly, I Timothy 4:16 reveals that by taking heed for and continuing in sound doctrine we will not only see salvation ourselves, but so will those to whom we witness. Conversely, as supported in II John 1:9-11, not continuing in sound doctrine results in us believing and spreading a perverted gospel that is powerless to save.
.
While perhaps not verbatim, the above sentiments are often expressed when the subject of judging one another is raised. Yet these views are not only ludicrous, Scripture directly refutes such claims.
.
Do You Not Judge Them That Are Within?
.
As Christians, we are not only engrafted into the family of God, but we are made a part of a spiritual family of brothers and sisters with whom we can fellowship, learn, share, and grow in the faith. We have been birthed into a body of believers who can encourage, strengthen, support, and yes even admonish each other when necessary. “And I myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another.” (Romans 15:14) Webster’s defines admonish as “to express warning or disapproval to especially in a gentle, earnest, or solicitous manner.” Although some in the church would say that we should not even do that, there are Scriptures that show this as one of the responsibilities of the church. (Colossians 3:16; I Thessalonians 5:12; Acts 27:9) In fact, we are specifically told to admonish and rebuke those brethren who may be in error (Titus 1:13; Titus 2:15; Titus 3:10; Ephesians 5:11; Colossians 3:16; I Corinthians 4:14; IITim. 3:16-4:2; II Timothy 4:2). “But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing. And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed. Yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.” (II Thessalonians 3:13-15)
.
The Bible even shows that it is sometimes necessary to specifically name those who are erring in the faith in order to protect others whom they may influence. “But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus; Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already: and overthrow the faith of some.” (II Timothy 2:16-Also I Timothy 1:19-20; I Timothy 5:20-21; II Timothy 4:10; Galatians 2: 11-14; II Timothy 4: 14-15; III John 1:9)
.
When a brother or sister is in error, it is an extension of God’s grace and mercy to have another member of the Body provide correction. This gives the one in error an opportunity to repent and it serves as a witness for others in the faith. Letting a brother or sister continue in error is the most unloving and self-righteous act, because it allows them to continue in something that may result in them falling away from the Lord. Our fellowship with each other is but one of the ways in which God helps to steer us in the right direction when we go astray.
.
We know from Scripture that God is the Judge of all (Genesis 18:25; Judges 11:27; I Samuel 2:10 Psalms 50:6; Psalms 96:13; Psalms 98:9; Isaiah 3:13; Isaiah 33:22; Jeremiah 11:20; Ezekiel 18:30; Ezekiel 33:20; Hebrews 12:23; I Peter 1:17; Matthew 12:27). God is set in position as our Judge because He is all-knowing, He is Truth. As such God’s judgements are righteous and true (John 8:26; Romans 11:33; Revelation 16:7; Revelation 19:2).
.
Although God alone is the Judge, this does not mean that only God judges. In fact, the Word of God says that God enables man to judge, commands man to judge, and is pleased with those who seek to judge righteously.
.
Scriptures clearly show that throughout time God has imparted to man the authority to judge (Leviticus 19:15; Deuteronomy 1:16; Deuteronomy 16:18; Judges 2:16-19; II Chronicles 19:5; Ezra 7:25; Isaiah 1:17; Ezekiel 23:45; John 7:24; Romans 2:27; I Corinthians 2:15; I Corinthians 6:). In Zechariah 3:7 God states that He gives those who obey Him the authority to judge, “Thus saith the LORD of hosts; If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou shalt also judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by.” There are also additional references in Scripture to this process of judging that may not specifically use the word judge. For example, in the original languages, the words translated as judge in Scripture are also translated examine, search, discern, ask, question, contend, esteem, and determine. In the Old Testament, God specifically identified those who were set in positions as Judges over His people as chronicled in the Book of Judges. We also see that one responsibility of the prophets was to declare God’s judgment to the people (Judges 4:4; II Samuel 12:1-12; Micah 3:1-8; Malachi 4:4; Hosea 6:5). In Ezra 7:25, it states that those who judge serve two purposes: 1). To judge those who know the law; and 2). To teach the law to those who do not know.
.
Not Everyone Who Says “Lord, Lord” Is Your Brother
J14
.
The Word of God continually warns about the presence of false prophets in the world. Even more disarming, Scripture tells us that these deceivers will be mixed in with the church itself. (Matthew 13:24-40; Acts 20:29-31; II Timothy 2:20-21; II Timothy 4:3; II Timothy 3:13; Matthew 7:15; Matthew 24:11, 24; Mark 13:22; II Corinthians 11:4; Philippians 3:18-19; Galatians 2:4; II Peter 2:1) “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.” (II Corinthians 11:13-15) God is telling us that there are ministers of Satan in the church who are actually transformed so that they appear as ministers of righteousness! We are even told that some of these false ministers will have Satanic power to perform supernatural signs, wonders, healings, and other miraculous events. (Matthew 24:24; Mark 13:22; II Thessalonians 2:9).Throughout Scripture, God warns us about these false prophets, false brethren, false apostles, etc. Is His direction for us to accept these individuals without question in a show of love? No. God is no fool and He knows that the intent of these individuals is to pull you out of the faith. (II Peter 2:1-22) The end times, we are told, will be specifically marked by a great apostacy as people are drawn away after false gospels. As a result, God commands us to judge whether they in fact are members of the Body of Christ, discern the signs, try the spirits, examine the fruit and be purged from these! (I Corinthians 5:7; II Corinthians 6:14-17; Ephesians 5:11; I Timothy 6:5; II Timothy 2:21; II Thessalonians 3:6; Titus 3:10) How do we identify false brethren? Because they preach and live a gospel that is a perversion of the Word of God. (Isaiah 8:20) Scripture not only tells us how to identify the false, but it shows us how to recognize the true Body of Christ? We know them by their fruit. (Matthew 7:16-20; Matthew 12:33; Matthew 13:23; Matthew 21:19-43; Mark 4:8, 20; Luke 6:44; Luke 8:15; John 15:1-16; Galatians 5:22; Ephesians 5:9-11; Colossians 1:10)
.
Judging Others” Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.”
.
(I John 4:1)Everyone who claims to be a minister or even a Christian must be believed by virtue of their confession. As brothers and sisters in the Lord, we must not question or judge one another because God alone is our judge. If someone is in error, it is not for us to point it out. After all, no one has it all right and God will correct them if they are wrong. To judge another person is not only unloving, but is against Scripture.
.
“Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.” (I Timothy 4:16)In the above Scripture, we are warned to “take heed” for not only our own selves but for the doctrine. In other words, God is saying to pay attention to, watch out for, take care of the doctrine. Why? Because not all doctrine is sound doctrine. In fact, we are told specifically that devils also have doctrines. (I Timothy 4:1; Revelation 2:14-15; Revelation 2:24) It is precisely because there are these other “gospels” that we are warned to hold fast to what was given to us originally. (II Corinthians 11:4; Galatians 1:6-7;Titus 1:9; II Peter 3:1-13; I Timothy 1:6-7; Romans 6:17; Acts 2:42; Revelation 3:3) Yet, the only way that we can hold fast to the Gospel is if we can discern or judge between the true and the false. (Hebrews 5:13-14) Once again, the Word of God is presented as the standard for such an evaluation (Romans 6:17; Romans 16:17; II Thessalonians 2:15; I Timothy 1:3; II Timothy 1:13; II Timothy 3:13-17; II Timothy 4:2; II Peter 3:1-13; II John 1:10; Titus 1:9; Matthew 15:3-6). Why is judging doctrine so important? Because there are doctrines that can jeopardize your faith and even your salvation. “Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.” (II John 1:9-11)
.
Judge DoctrineToday, the judging of doctrine is predominately taking one of two extremes. Many refuse to judge anything for fear of being called divisive. Still others cause senseless disputations by making everything a matter of doctrine; judging others in legalistic areas that are not germane to salvation. However, Romans 16:17 makes it clear not only what constitutes a division, but how to treat those who cause them.
.
Scripture also shows that God considers the exercise of judgment to be evidence of our seeking truth (Jeremiah 5:1). The fact that the desire to judge righteously is highly esteemed by God is clearly illustrated in I Kings 3:9-13. In verse 9, King Solomon asks, “Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people?” We see here that Solomon asked God for discernment to judge between good and bad. This request not only pleased the Lord, but God blessed Solomon greatly for asking for the wisdom to judge. In the New Testament, we continue to see that God expects us to exercise judgment. Jesus Himself criticized the Pharisees for being unable to judge the spiritual things of God and the importance of judging spiritual matters continued to be stressed throughout His disciples’ ministries (Matthew 16:3; Luke 12:56-57; John 7:24; Acts 4:19; I Corinthians 2:15; I Corinthians 5:3; I Corinthians 6:2-5; I Corinthians 10:15; I Corinthians 14:29; Hebrews 5:14). Further, we are told that it is to our shame if there is none among us who can judge the things of God. God also states that judgment is considered one of the weightier aspects of God’s law, even more than offerings (Matthew 23:23; Luke 11:14).
.
When citing God’s “command” not to judge, people often refer to Matthew 7:1, however, let’s look at the complete Scripture in context. “Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.” (Matthew 7:1-5)Jesus clearly says do not judge so that you will not be judged, but to whom is He speaking? He identifies His audience in verse 5 with the words “Thou hypocrite.” Jesus is not forbiding Christians to judge (unless He is calling every Christian a hypocrite). He is warning that we will be held accountable for what we know. In other words, if we know enough about sinful behavior to tell others that it is wrong, then we have no excuse as to why that sin would be present in our lives. This is consistent with Paul’s advice in I Corinthians 11:31-32 that we judge ourselves first so that we will not be judged. As Jesus says in verse 5, we should cast the beam out of our own eye and then we are in position to point out the fault to others.
.
(Isa 54:17 KJV) No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

JUST CAUSE I EXPOSE RIGHTFULLY ONE BAD PENTECOSTAL CHURCH DOES NOT NOW MEAN THAT I BASH ALL PENTECOSTALS, PENTECOSTAL CHURCHES, OR ALL CHURCHES.
 .
One of the strongest things I have objected to in my life is the false Pentecostal bashers- The clear attempt to paint everyone else black, wrong  now, all Pentecostals included as being dirtied, everyone here associated  painted by one dirty paint brush, is clearly a common work also  of the devil and prideful persons.
.
There is no law that says I have to still allow or to accept quietly the false, unfair  abuse of even any of the   Pentecostal Christians for that matter now as well and anywhere world wide, even on the net.
.
I too noted once again how   sadly  too many so called professing fundamental or some Catholic Christians now  do make false, lying, unsubstantiated, over simplified, and unbiblical statements   about those crazy Charismatics or Pentecostals but  even here there are still genuine Christian  workers of miracles..  https://postedat.wordpress.com/2009/07/20/those-crazy-charismatics-or-pentecostals/

Are we really to believe that 537 million Christians experience continual demonic manifestations of false tongues, when false tongues were so rare that the Bible did not even address the issue?”  ” http://brothermel.com/theboogeymancalledfalsetongues.aspx

For certainty also because of the demonic opposition the devil will try to discourage you from finding out or reading about the Holy spirit, Charismatics, Pentecostals and the Bible. https://postedat.wordpress.com/2009/07/20/restoration/

THERE IS A  VERY BASIC COMMON MISCONCEPTION ON HOW TO DEAL WITH ANY PERCEIVED EVEN INJUSTICES, ABUSES, ANYWHERE, IN THE CHURCH AS WELL, BESIDES IMMEDIATELY CALLING THE LOCAL  POLICE..
 .
THE NEW TESTAMENT IS CLEAR HOW TO DEAL WITH IT.. COMMUNICATION – AND YOU DON’T FIRST POST IT ALL ON THE NET.
 .
First you merely ask the guilty, bad persons personally to repent twice, the first time without a witness, the second time with witnesses THAT you have asked them to repent.. and   proof, substantiation is NOT required.. after you have done that you can next post it openly on the net, tell all the others.
 .
Next God is fully free to deal with the unrepentant guilty offenders and believe me he will.. I have now been doing for decades too.. I SIMPLY SEND AN EMAIL, I PUT IT INTO CLEARLY WRITING, SO THE GUILTY PARTY CANNOT SAY I DID NOT ASK HIM OR HER TO REPENT.
WHETHER THEY ACKNOWLEDGE IT OR NOT TO GOD DOES NOT MATTER.

Assemblies of God Pentecostals

The Assemblies of God has its roots in the Pentecostal revival of the early twentieth century. This revival is generally traced to a prayer meeting held under the leadership of Charles Parham, at Bethel Bible College in Topeka, Kansas, on January 1, 1901. The “awakening” or “revival” spread rapidly to Missouri, Texas, California and elsewhere. In 1906, a three year revival meeting under the leadership of William Seymour began at Azusa Street Mission in Los Angeles that attracted believers from around the world. Reports of the revival were carried far and wide by periodicals and other publications that sprang up along with the movement. Independent revivals also began to break out during this time in other parts of the world. The Pentecostal aspects of the revival were not generally welcomed by established churches, and participants in the movement soon found themselves forced outside existing religious bodies. These people sought out their own places of worship, and founded hundreds of distinctly Pentecostal congregations.  Many of these congregations sought to partner with existing religious movements, such as the Christian and Missionary Alliance, but many Pentecostals left following controversy over the doctrine of “The Initial Physical Evidence of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit“. These early leaders where licensed as ministers by Charles Harrison Mason, founder of the Church of God in Christ, a predominately African-American denomination. It is possible that the Church of God in Christ provided initial credentials to the mostly white Pentecostals who would later form the Assemblies of God. [7]. Jim Crow laws of the South and other racial cultural norms of the early 19th century America contributed to the early demise of racial unity with these Pentecostal leaders with the predominately African-American Church of God in Christ denomination.

The Assemblies of God experienced a schism early in their history when they adopted the Statement of Fundamental Truths affirming their belief in the orthodox doctrine of the Trinity at their Fourth General Council in October 1916 in St. Louis. Those that withdrew from the fellowship were known as “Oneness or Jesus Only Pentecostals”, who believed in baptizing “in the name of Jesus Christ” and not “in the name of The Father, The Son, and the Holy Ghost/Spirit.” This schism caused the loss of approximately one-fourth of recognized A/G ministers, including all but one minister in the state of Louisiana (Rev. George Harrison remained with the Assemblies of God).

In 1988, the loose body of cooperative councils joined under the name World Pentecostal Assemblies of God Fellowship as result of an initiative by Dr. J. Philip Hogan, then executive director of the Division of Foreign Missions of the General Council of the Assemblies of God of the United States. The initial purpose was to coordinate evangelism, but soon developed into a more permanent organism of inter-relation. Dr. Hogan was elected the first chairman of the Fellowship and served until 1992 when Rev. David Yonggi Cho was elected chairman. In 1993, the name of the Fellowship was changed to the World Assemblies of God Fellowship.[9]

 Doctrine

Two years after the church’s founding, the pioneers of the Assemblies of God adopted a set of core beliefs for the Fellowship, which remain virtually unchanged. These are known as “The 16 Fundamental Truths.” The Assemblies’ doctrines are summarized in its Statement of Fundamental Truths.[10]

Numerous Christian groups share some or all of these tenets — and some positions (like the Trinity) are considered more central to the faith than others. Of these sixteen, four are considered “core beliefs of the Fellowship”, or “Cardinal Doctrines.” These are:

  • Salvation Through Jesus Christ
  • Baptism in the Holy Spirit
  • Divine Healing
  • The Second Coming of Christ

These statements of belief have a biblical basis and are considered non-negotiable. Below is a summary of the Assemblies of God’s doctrinal positions and biblical references which are used to back up these statements.

 16 Fundamental Truths

source: Our 16 Fundamental Truths – General Council of the Assemblies of God – AG.org

1. The Scriptures Inspired – The Scriptures, both the Old Testament and New Testament, are verbally inspired of God and are the revelation of God to man, the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct. (2 Timothy 3:15-17, 1 Thessalonians 2:13, 2 Peter 1:21)

2. The One True God – The one true God has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existent “I AM”, the Creator of heaven and earth and the Redeemer of mankind. He has further revealed Himself as embodying the principles of relationship and association as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4, Isaiah 43:10,11, Matthew 28:19, Luke 3:22)

The AG doctrine clarifies the position of The Adorable Godhead into ten detailed sub-categories:
  • Defining the “persons” or Trinity of the Godhead (Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14, John 14:16-17)
  • Distinction and Relationship in the Godhead – three persons, one God (Luke 1:35, 1 Corinthians 1:24, Matthew 11:25-27, Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14, 1 John 1:3-4)
  • Unity of the One Being of Father, Son and Holy Spirit (John 1:18, John 15:26, John 17:11, John 17:21, Zechariah 14:9)
  • Identity and Cooperation in the Godhead (John 5:17-30, John 5:32, John 5:37, John 8:17,18)
  • The Title, Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 1:1-3, 2 John 1:3)
  • The Lord Jesus Christ, God with Us (Matthew 1:23, 1 John 4:2, 1 John 4:10, 1 John 4:14, Revelation 1:13, Revelation 1:17)
  • The Title, Son of God (Matthew 1:21-23, 2 John 1:3, 1 John 3:8, Hebrews 7:3, Hebrews 1:1-13)
  • Transgression of the Doctrine of Christ (2 John 1:9, John 1:1-2, John 1:14, John 1:18, John 1:29, John 1:49, 1 John 2:22-23, 1 John 4:1-5, Hebrews 12:2)
  • Exaltation of Jesus Christ as Lord (Hebrews 1:3, 1 Peter 3:22, Acts 2:32-36, Romans 14:11, 1 Corinthians 15:24-28)
  • Equal Honor to the Father and to the Son (John 5:22-23, 1 Peter 1:8, Revelation 5:6-14, Philippians 2:8-9, Revelation 7:9-10, Revelation 4:8-11)

3. The Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ – The Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. The Scriptures declare:

4. The Fall of Man – Man was created good and upright; for God said, “Let us make man in our own image, after our likeness.” However, man by voluntary transgression fell and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death, which is separation from God. (Genesis 1:26,27, Genesis 2:17, Genesis 3:6, Romans 5:12-19)

5. The Salvation of Man – Man’s only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ the Son of God.

  • Conditions to Salvation – Salvation is received through repentance toward God and faith toward the Lord Jesus Christ. By the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, being justified by grace through faith, man becomes an heir of God, according to the hope of eternal life. (Luke 24:47, John 3:3, Romans 10:13-15, Ephesians 2:8, Titus 2:11, Titus 3:5-7)
  • The Evidence of Salvation – The inward evidence of salvation is the direct witness of the Spirit. (Romans 8:16)
  • The outward evidence to all men is a life of righteousness and true holiness. (Ephesians 4:24, Titus 2:12)

6. The Ordinances of the Church

  • Baptism in Water – The ordinance of baptism by immersion is commanded by the Scriptures. All who repent and believe on Christ as Saviour and Lord are to be baptized. Thus they declare to the world that they have died with Christ and that they also have been raised with Him to walk in newness of life. (Matthew 28:19, Mark 16:16, Acts 10:47,48, Romans 6:4)
  • Holy CommunionThe Lord’s Supper, consisting of the elements –bread and the fruit of the vine– is the symbol expressing our sharing the divine nature of our Lord Jesus Christ (2 Peter 1:4 ), a memorial of his suffering and death (1 Corinthians 11:26 ), and a prophecy of His second coming (1 Corinthians 11:26 ), and is enjoined on all believers “till He come!”

7. The Baptism in the Holy Spirit – All believers are entitled to and should ardently expect and earnestly seek the promise of the Father, the baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire, according to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ. This was the normal experience of all in the early Christian Church. With it comes the enduement of power for life and service, the bestowment of the gifts and their uses in the work of the ministry. (Luke 24:49, Acts 1:4, Acts 1:8, 1 Corinthians 12:1-31) This experience is distinct from and subsequent to the experience of the new birth. (Acts 8:12-17, Acts 10:44-46, Acts 11:14-16, Acts 15:7-9)

With the baptism in the Holy Spirit come such experiences as:

  • an overflowing fullness of the Spirit, (John 7:37-39, Acts 4:8)
  • a deepened reverence for God (Acts 2:43, Hebrews 12:28)
  • an intensified consecration to God and dedication to His work (Acts 2:42)
  • and a more active love for Christ, for His Word and for the lost (Mark 16:20)

8. The Initial Physical Evidence of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit – The baptism of believers in the Holy Spirit is witnessed by the initial physical sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit of God gives them utterance. (Acts 2:4). The speaking in tongues in this instance is the same in essence as the gift of tongues, but is different in purpose and use. (1 Corinthians 12:4-10, 1 Corinthians 12:28)

9. Sanctification – Sanctification is an act of separation from that which is evil, and of dedication unto God. (Romans 12:1,2, 1 Thessalonians 5:23, Hebrews 13:12) The Scriptures teach a life of “holiness without which no man shall see the Lord.” (Hebrews 12:14) By the power of the Holy Spirit we are able to obey the command: “Be ye holy, for I am holy.” (1 Peter 1:15,16)

Sanctification is realized in the believer by recognizing his identification with Christ in His death and resurrection, and by the faith reckoning daily upon the fact of that union, and by offering every faculty continually to the dominion of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 6:1-11, Romans 6:13, Romans 8:1,2, Romans 8:13, Galatians 2:20, Philippians 2:12,13, 1 Peter 1:5)

10. The Church and its Mission – The Church is the Body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit, with divine appointments for the fulfillment of her Great Commission. Each believer, born of the Spirit, is an integral part of the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn, which are written in heaven. (Ephesians 1:22,23, Ephesians 2:22, Hebrews 12:23)

Since God’s purpose concerning man is to seek and to save that which is lost, to be worshipped by man, and to build a body of believers in the image of His Son, the priority reason for being of the Assemblies of God as part of the Church is:

  • To be an agency of God for evangelizing the world. (Acts 1:8, Matthew 28:19,20, Mark 16:15,16)
  • To be a corporate body in which man may worship God (1 Corinthians 12:13)
  • To be a channel of God’s purpose to build a body of saints being perfected in the image of His Son. (Ephesians 4:11-16, 1 Corinthians 12:28, 1 Corinthians 14:12)

The Assemblies of God exists expressly to give continuing emphasis to this reason for being in the New Testament apostolic pattern by teaching and encouraging believers to be baptized in the Holy Spirit. This experience:

  • Enables them to evangelize in the power of the Spirit with accompanying supernatural signs. (Mark 16:15-20, Acts 4:29-31, Hebrews 2:3,4)
  • Adds a necessary dimension to worshipful relationship with God. (1 Corinthians 2:10-16, 1 Corinthians 12, 1 Corinthians 13, 1 Corinthians 14)
  • Enables them to respond to the full working of the Holy Spirit in expression of fruit and gifts and ministries as in New Testament times for the edifying of the body of Christ. (Galatians 5:22-26, 1 Corinthians 14:12, Ephesians 4:11,12, 1 Corinthians 12:28, Colossians 1:29)

11. The Ministry – A divinely called and scripturally ordained ministry has been provided by our Lord for the threefold purpose of leading the Church in:

  • Evangelization of the world. (Mark 16:15-20)
  • Worship of God. (John 4:23,24)
  • Building a body of saints being perfected in the image of His Son. (Ephesians 4:11-16)

12. Divine Healing – Divine healing is an integral part of the gospel. Deliverance from sickness is provided for in the atonement, and is the privilege of all believers. (Isaiah 53:4,5, Matthew 8:16,17, James 5:14-16)

13. The Blessed Hope – The resurrection of those who have fallen asleep in Christ and their translation together with those who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord is the imminent and blessed hope of the church. (1 Thessalonians 4:16,17, Romans 8:23, Titus 2:13, 1 Corinthians 15:51,52)

14. The Millennial Reign of Christ – The Second Coming of Christ includes the rapture of the saints, which is our blessed hope, followed by the visible return of Christ with His saints to reign on earth for one thousand years. (Zechariah 14:5, Matthew 24:27, Matthew 24:30, Revelation 1:7, Revelation 19:11-14, Revelation 20:1-6)

  • This millennial reign will bring the salvation of national Israel, (Ezekiel 37:21,22, Zephaniah 3:19,20, Romans 11:26,27)
  • and the establishment of universal peace. (Isaiah 11:6-9, Psalms 72:3-8, Micah 4:3,4)

15. The Final Judgment – There will be a final judgment in which the wicked dead will be raised and judged according to their works. Whosoever is not found written in the Book of Life, together with the devil and his angels, the beast and the false prophet, will be consigned to the everlasting punishment in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. (Matthew 25:46, Mark 9:43-48, Revelation 19:20, Revelation 20:11-15, Revelation 21:8)

16. The New Heavens and the New Earth – “We, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness.” (2 Peter 3:13, Revelation 21, Revelation 22)

The Assemblies of God  Pentecostal supporters, members are noted for their opposition to the Florida Lakeland revival, and to the Latter day movement.. and I  rightfully as I do dislike their too often abusive unchristian like posts too.. but why the opposition?  Jealous? How wordly, ungoldy? It supposedly competes with their own revival?
“I have just returned from Buffalo and am now home in Pensacola. What awesome services on Sunday! Pastor Tommy Reid said to his congregation, “There are moments when God moves in a church and today is one of them!” I am always humbled when the Lord moves. From the first service at 8 am to the last service at 11:30 God moved in all three. The first service, which is mainly seniors, had a wonderful sense of God’s power! As I prayed for the saints of the church, each one fell under the power of God! How humbling! When the second service crowd started to move into the sanctuary they saw their beloved seniors prostrate out on the floor! That’s enough to build anyone’s faith. I had the privilege of praying for probably another two to three hundred people. The second service rolled right into the third service which is primarily a multi cultural service. God was faithful and moved again touching lives at the altar! http://www.brownsville-revival.org/”

and like many other Pentecostals, Alliance, Baptist, Evangelcial Churches they falsey do not include helping poor people in their own churches as an essential Christian  doctrine now too? why?

(Rom 15:26 KJV)  For it hath pleased them of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor saints which are at Jerusalem.

(2 Cor 9:9 KJV)  (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever.

(Gal 2:10 KJV)  Only they would that we should remember the poor; the same which I also was forward to do.

(James 2:5 KJV)  Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?

(James 2:6 KJV)  But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats?
