You know the commandments

You know the commandments and “the Doctrine of Balaam”

When 95 percent of Christians do not have 5 minutes a day quite time with the Bible.. they are all bad sinners.. all of them

The too often misconception publicized by fundaments on the net too now is that a Prophet only foretells the future, and everything a false prophet does is false, and that he is not a God gifted person.. and this itself is false, not true. How ironical.  Balaam was firstly a genuine Prophet of God, he communicated with , talked with God, but he did not always obey, or  listen to him, for he did his own thing,  like most of us today too,  and that is what made him a false prophet, and so simply too are the many persons false Christians now too who follow his bad behavior, example, and rebel like  the devil now as well. God is still really  always displeased with all  such negative motivational behaviors, acts of self centered persons, not Christ centered, not Holy spirit obedient.. as the Bible clearly, undeniably indicates now many times.

By their own fruits you tell what they are like still..
No matter what the goal is, or how valueable it maybe,  leading others to Christ included, the ends do not justify the means by anyone, pastors, elders, deacons, others , and cheating, lying, stealing included now.. How you get there is as important as where you are going. Asked also now Moses and all the people of Israel who missed the promised Land cause they had simply refused to do it God’s way.

(Mat 5:19 KJV)  Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

(Mark 10:19 KJV)  Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother…

(includes do not divorce)

(Mat 19:17 KJV)  And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

(Mat 7:3 KJV)  And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? 4  Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? 5  Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.

(Rom 13:10 KJV)  Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

(Mark 12:29 KJV)  And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:  (Heb 13:8 KJV)  Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

(1 Cor 6:15 KJV)  Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.16   What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.

(Mat 15:9 KJV)  But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

(Col 2:22 KJV)  Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men?

(1 Cor 14:37 KJV)  If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.

(Rev 14:12 KJV)  Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

Todd Bentley you too do  still need to review what the Bible says about idolatry, fornication, drunkenness, and  the sin of Balaam too. The Doctrine of Balaam: A Warning to the Church, The false prophet who  had a genuine prophetic gift but his basic personal motivations in using them were, are still false, immoral. He used them not to honor, obey God but to falsely try to please himself, to get the earthly rewards.

When we toy around with the word of God, God’s undeniable, unchanging laws, commandments,  and work on falsely re-inventing new  definitions for Biblical words and terms, and falsely even apply our own definitions to them, we are headed for our own personal ruin, as well as for the ruin of those who follow us. Thus it is imperative that we get back to the God and the Scriptures!

All readers are encouraged  however, to read the Scriptures always still  for himself, and thus  possibly cease hearing the teaching that causes one to go astray (Prov 19:27 KJV)  Cease, my son, to hear the instruction that causeth to err from the words of knowledge.

But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication… 16 Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth. (Revelation 2:14,16)

Note chiefly the rebels now  that deliberately, wrongfully walk after the flesh, in the lust of personal uncleanness, and also do for false earthly rewards, pleasures they  consciously, deliberately despise godly instructions, God’s revealed commandments, following after law and order. They enjoy, delight to walk in sins.

(1 Sam 15:23 KJV)  For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king. 24 And Saul said unto Samuel, I have sinned: for I have transgressed the commandment of the LORD, and thy words: because I feared the people, and obeyed their voice. 25  Now therefore, I pray thee, pardon my sin, and turn again with me, that I may worship the LORD. 26 And Samuel said unto Saul, I will not return with thee: for thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, and the LORD hath rejected thee from being king over Israel.

Now  we see that some people today, that we are “holding on strongly” to the Doctrine of Balaam, doing their own thing, falsely following the lust of their own  flesh and  this doctrine next  has resulted next in idolatry and fornication among even once His people. The worship of false idols, false values, and falsely lead one to next commit adultery, fornication, sex outside of marriage.. and the only remedy for  having held to the doctrine of Balaam: is  to now personally repent of it, and and to change one’s direction. Or Else pay the serious price of these sins!!! Including public exposure.

We NOW ALL have all been walking in our own ways. Those who still do choose to be among “GOD’S People” must choose, however, to walk in His way. OTHERWISE He will fight against (the unrepentant among us) with the “Sword” of His mouth.

The Doctrine of Balaam: What it Is Again, the Reader is encouraged to read the Scriptures for himself, in order to see exactly what Balaam did, and why God himself  became angry with him Numbers 22-25
(Num 31:16 KJV)  Behold, these caused the children of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to commit trespass against the LORD in the matter of Peor, and there was a plague among the congregation of the LORD.

(2 Pet 2:15 KJV)  Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;

(Jude 1:11 KJV)  Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.

(Rev 2:14 KJV)  But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.

(Rev 2:15 KJV)  So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes, which thing I hate.

(Rev 2:16 KJV)  Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.

We are reminded in Scripture that this “Error of Balaam” (what he actually did) can lead to the “Way of Balaam” (walking in the same way as Balaam, and not repenting).

We also see in Scripture a progression. The “Way of Balaam” results in the “Counsel of Balaam,” also called the “Doctrine of Balaam.” The counsel or “Doctrine” of Balaam then results in a plague touching the entire congregation ((Num 31:16 KJV)  Behold, these caused the children of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to commit trespass against the LORD in the matter of Peor, and there was a plague among the congregation of the LORD.).

We may summarise from Scripture that the “Doctrine of Balaam” is simply any false counsel or false  teaching given by Leadership, that results also in the same in the “Error of Balaam” in the lives of their followers The false prosperity preachers are good examples of this now too. (2 Pet 2:1 KJV)  But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

(2 Pet 2:2 KJV)  And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. 3  And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not. 4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; 5   And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly; 6   And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly; 7  And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked: 8   (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;) 9  The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished: 10   But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, self willed, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities. 11   Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord. 12   But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption; 13   And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you; 14  Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children: 15 Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;

(Jude 1:4 KJV)  For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

(Jude 1:11 KJV)  Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.

The sin, the “Error of Balaam” — that almost got him killed? Let’s summarize what we see in the Scriptures.

First, because Balaam disregarded God s “earlier” command to him (”Do not go with them”), but went anyway, So next God himself  sought to kill Balaam (Num 22:12, 22). because eof his own false motivations Balaam had falsely, too conveniently  assumed God’s “later” word to him had “nullified” God’s earlier command not to go.

Next, we see that Balaam had even disobeyed the “later” word, when he left the next morning without meeting the terms of God’s condition (”if the men come to call you”) (Num 22:20,21).

Balaam thus held to a “twisted” version of God’s later command. Thus we see that Balaam disobeyed the later word, and also rejected God’s  “earlier” word. The result was that God now sought to kill Balaam with a “sword.”

To summarize, we might say that what Balaam did was to simply reject the “Earlier” clear Word of God , with the hope that the “Later” Word of God  would be more favorable to his false purposes, and more agreeable to his false motive. His motive was greed, so to his action was to reject, and deny the earlier clear Word of God, thinking the earlier word had been “nullified.” But it has not been… thou  still shaft not commit idolatry, including the false exaltations of self, others men and women,  nor commit adultery..

The  Scriptures tell us that the Greek word ‘dogma,’ Strong’s <1378> and <1379>, the “Decrees of Men,” were against us, and contrary to us, and so they have been blotted out, and taken out of the way, nailed to the cross, and abolished by the crucifixion of His body. Jesus Christ’s ’s crucifixion thereby removed the very thing that brings division, and separates men — the Commandments of Men, which say “touch not, taste not, handle not.” (Luke 2:1; Acts 16:4; 17:7; Eph 2:15; Col 2:14; Col 2:20-22).

Many so called Christian  leaders are falsely teaching the people today the lie,  living the lie now too, that the “Old Testament” ten commandments have been “nullified” and “done away with,” a notion that is clearly contrary to all of Scripture, contrary to the Word of the Psalms and the Prophets, New testament, contrary to the words of the Apostle Paul, and contrary to Jesus  Himself. We cannot even by God’s supposed Grace indulge in any of  these sins and next hope to get away with them, for we will be punish still for it. God is not mocked what a persons sows, sins  he reaps negative consequences unless he quickly repents of it, turns away from it..

(Gal 6:7 KJV)  Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. 9  And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.10   As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

Therefore multitudes embracing this false motivational  Doctrine of Balaam are walking in disobedience God’s revealed will, His Word. This disobedience marked by their false simply rejection and denial of the basic Word of God unacceptably is part of  the “Error of Balaam.”

So we see that just as Balaam did in his day, the Doctrine of Balaam today holds steadfastly to a “twisted” version of the “supposedly later, revised  ” word of God , as we see often done by false justifications of one sins by the too often even critics of the Bible and of other Christians too mow. The Doctrine of Balaam therefore results in still disobedince disobedience to both God’s still “later” word by Jesus Christ, the Apostles and His “earlier” words in the old testament.

It is still wrong today for anyone to follow after men, self instead of following after God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit

Many thus have re( (John 6:35 KJV)  And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. (John 6:48 KJV)  I am that bread of life. (John 6:57 KJV)  As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.8  This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever. (Phil 2:16 KJV)  Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain. (1 John 1:1 KJV)  That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;). Notice it is Jesus Himself who defines and illustrates the  words and terms used in the old testament Scripture too; it is not our place to try to define or to redefine Bible Words and terms  placed the Biblical Truths with “Commandments of Men” which have turned most from the Truth ((Titus 1:14 KJV)  Not giving heed to Jewish fables, ( Zionism) and (false )commandments of men, that turn from the truth.).

What are the end results of the “Doctrine of Balaam” today?  Only a few remnants of Truth remain in many of these so called Christian churches these days too, because they have allowed mere  men to re-define Biblical Words, Doctrines, and Practices, replacing them with man’s notions of meaning of the actual Biblical words, substituting  falsely man’s Doctrines, and man’s practices.

God’s remedy is that we simply “repent.” This tells us to cease disobedience, and begin obedience to His Word. Let’s now look at the results for those who repent.

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it. (Revelation 2:17)

To those who do not repent, there is likewise a promise and a consequence.  Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth. Revelation 2:16

God’s “sword” will be against those who do not repent.

(2 Th 2:8 KJV)  And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9  Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10   And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

(Luke 13:6 KJV)  He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.7  Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?8   And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:9   And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.

Repent.

Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. (Revelation 22:14)

For without (outside the City) are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. (Revelation 22:15)

(2 Cor 11:2 KJV)  For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. 3  But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. 4  For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

Luke 9:48 And told them, Whoever receives {and} accepts {and} welcomes this child in My name {and} for My sake receives {and} accepts {and} welcomes Me; and whoever so receives Me so also receives Him Who sent Me. For he who is least {and} lowliest among you all–he is [the one who is truly] great.

Luke 9:62 Jesus said to him, No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back [to the things behind] is fit for the kingdom of God.

Luke 9:49 John said, Master, we saw a man driving out demons in Your name and we commanded him to stop it, for he does not follow along with us.50 But Jesus told him, Do not forbid [such people]; for whoever is not against you is for you.

(Luke 18:1 KJV)  And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; 2  Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man: 3  And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. 4  And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man; 5  Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me. 6  And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith. 7  And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? 8  I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? 9  And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:

(Eph 5:1 KJV)  Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; 2  And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour. 3  But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; 4  Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. 5  For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. 6  Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. 7  Be not ye therefore partakers with them. 8  For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: 9  (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) 10  Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. 11  And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. 12  For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.

(1 Tim 2:1 KJV)  I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;

Luke 8:21 But He answered them, My mother and My brothers are those who listen to the Word of God and do it!

As I look back in my life the last half a century some of the most immoral, despotic, cruel persons I have encountered in Canada were not just in the business world but actually pastors in various Christian  churches and why was, is that?  (Prov 31:8 KJV)  “Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction.  9    Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.” To be able to judge righteously, though, the Church itself and the Preacher now must be also righteous.

  1. Thanks for posting the link.

I think I will also read selling the gospel.

This has been on my mind.

I think a lot of people are in trouble with that regard.

  2. Luke 12:13 Someone from the crowd said to Him, Master, order my brother to divide the inheritance {and} share it with me.
Luke 12:14 But He told him, Man, who has appointed Me a judge or umpire {and} divider over you?
Luke 12:15 And He said to them, Guard yourselves and keep free from all covetousness (the immoderate desire for wealth, the greedy longing to have more); for a man’s life does not consist in {and} is not derived from possessing overflowing abundance {or} that which is over and above his needs.
Luke 12:16 Then He told them a parable, saying, The land of a rich man was fertile {and} yielded plentifully.
Luke 12:17 And he considered {and} debated within himself, What shall I do? I have no place [in which] to gather together my harvest.
Luke 12:18 And he said, I will do this: I will pull down my storehouses and build larger ones, and there I will store all my grain {or produce} and my goods.
Luke 12:19 And I will say to my soul, Soul, you have many good things laid up, [enough] for many years. Take your ease; eat, drink, {and} enjoy yourself merrily.
Luke 12:20 But God said to him, You fool! This very night they [the messengers of God] will demand your soul of you; and all the things that you have prepared, whose will they be?
Luke 12:21 So it is with the one who continues to lay up {and} hoard possessions for himself and is not rich [in his relation] to God [this is how he fares].
Luke 12:22 And [Jesus] said to His disciples, Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious {and} troubled [with cares] about your life, as to what you will [have to] eat; or about your body, as to what you will [have to] wear.
Luke 12:23 For life is more than food, and the body [more] than clothes.
Luke 12:24 Observe {and} consider the ravens; for they neither sow nor reap, they have neither storehouse nor barn; and [yet] God feeds them. Of how much more worth are you than the birds!
Luke 12:25 And which of you by being overly anxious {and} troubled with cares can add a cubit to his stature {or} a moment [unit] of time to his age [the length of his life]?
Luke 12:26 If then you are not able to do such a little thing as that, why are you anxious {and} troubled with cares about the rest?
Luke 12:27 Consider the lilies, how they grow. They neither [wearily] toil nor spin {nor} {weave;} yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory (his splendor and magnificence) was not arrayed like one of these. [I Kings 10:4-7.]
Luke 12:28 But if God so clothes the grass in the field, which is alive today, and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, how much more will He clothe you, O you [people] of little faith?
    Luke 12:29 And you, do not seek [by meditating and reasoning to inquire into] what you are to eat and what you are to drink; nor be of anxious (troubled) mind [unsettled, excited, worried, and in suspense];
Luke 12:30 For all the pagan world is [greedily] seeking these things, and your Father knows that you need them.
Luke 12:31 Only aim at {and} strive for {and} seek His kingdom, and all these things shall be supplied to you also.
Luke 12:32 Do not be seized with alarm {and} struck with fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom!
Luke 12:33 Sell what you possess and give donations to the poor; provide yourselves with purses {and} handbags that do not grow old, an unfailing {and} inexhaustible treasure in the heavens, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys.
Luke 12:34 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
Luke 12:35 Keep your loins girded and your lamps burning,

Luke 12:36 And be like men who are waiting for their master to return home from the marriage feast, so that when he returns from the wedding and comes and knocks, they may open to him immediately.
Luke 12:37 Blessed (happy, fortunate, and to be envied) are those servants whom the master finds awake {and} alert {and} watching when he comes. Truly I say to you, he will gird himself and have them recline at table and will come and serve them!
Luke 12:38 If he comes in the second watch (before midnight) or the third watch (after midnight), and finds them so, blessed (happy, fortunate, and to be envied) are those servants!
Luke 12:39 But of this be assured: if the householder had known at what time the burglar was coming, he would have been awake {and} alert {and} watching and would not have permitted his house to be dug through {and} broken into.
Luke 12:40 You also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour {and} a moment when you do not anticipate it.
Luke 12:41 Peter said, Lord, are You telling this parable for us, or for all alike?
Luke 12:42 And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful steward, the wise man whom his master will set over those in his household service to supply them their allowance of food at the appointed time?
Luke 12:43 Blessed (happy and to be envied) is that servant whom his master finds so doing when he arrives.
Luke 12:44 Truly I tell you, he will set him in charge over all his possessions.
Luke 12:45 But if that servant says in his heart, My master is late in coming, and begins to strike the menservants and the maids and to eat and drink and get drunk,
Luke 12:46 The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour of which he does not know, and will punish him {and} cut him off and assign his lot with the unfaithful.
Luke 12:47 And that servant who knew his master’s will but did not get ready or act as he would wish him to act shall be beaten with many [lashes].
Luke 12:48 But he who did not know and did things worthy of a beating shall be beaten with few [lashes]. For everyone to whom much is given, of him shall much be required; and of him to whom men entrust much, they will require {and} demand all the more.
Luke 12:49 I have come to cast fire upon the earth, and how I wish that it were already kindled!
Luke 12:50 I have a baptism with which to be baptized, and how greatly {and} sorely I am urged on (impelled, constrained) until it is accomplished!
    Luke 12:51 Do you suppose that I have come to give peace upon earth? No, I say to you, but rather division;
Luke 12:52 For from now on in one house there will be five divided [among themselves], three against two and two against three.
Luke 12:53 They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.

  3. If all who are called to serve the Lord Jesus would just share His gospel, there would not be the need to purchase as many bibles as there have been sold. Think about the billions of bibles that have been sold throughout the ages since they began to be translated. Now the translations have added and subtracted from the word and it no longer seems like the real deal.

One good thing on this blog… you sure do provide the Word in posts. I like that because not everyone out there reads the Word like they need to and ask the Lord to help them in their understanding.

I think I will link this blog .

  4. RE My use of scripture.. “And When I see the speed dialing prayer many Christians use, and/or see their lack of Bible verses as well now on the so called Christians internet sites I now know something is wrong spiritually with them”.. http://witnessed.wordpress.com/2008/09/03/if/

(James 5:16 KJV) Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much

“When 95 percent of Christians do not have 5 minutes a day quite time with the Bible.. they are all bad sinners.. all of them ”

imagine a persons professing to be a baker who does not use flour at all? he may be a cook but not a Baker.. so it is with Christians who do not use the Bible, they are cooking up something.. but not the work of God..

I have also mentioned it on other posts how important the word of God is to all Christians and those who do not use it clearly are not spiritual themselves firstly..
