ONE OF MY OWN FAVORITE EXPRESSION IS THAT “THERE IS  NO SUCH THING AS BEING A LITTLE BIT PREGNANT  http://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2009/01/02/divorce-and-remarriage-in-the-christian-church/

.

Fornication, Adultery, Marital failures, and many other destructive conditions, exist because of sin.  They also do exist because humans have decided that their way is better than God’s way.  They have decided that fulfilling their desires is more important than obeying and glorifying the Creator/Sustainer of the universe.  Nevertheless, all persons must  learn what the Bible says about sin, adultery in order to see it the way God sees it.  Only when we change our views to line up with God’s views can we live the full, blessed life He has waiting for us. Personal Sins of commission are also  often the result of One’s sins of omission, even the sin of presumption.

.

Psalms 32:3, “When I refused to confess my sin, I was weak and miserable, and I groaned all day long.” (NLT)

.

Proverbs 28:13, “He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.”

.

Psalms 38:3-8, “…Neither is there any rest in my bones because of my sin. For mine iniquities are gone over mine head: as a heavy burden they are too heavy for me. My wounds stink and are corrupt because of my foolishness. I am troubled; I am bowed down greatly; I go mourning all the day long. For my loins are filled with a loathsome disease: and there is no soundness in my flesh. I am feeble and sore broken: I have roared by reason of the disquietness of my heart.”

.

To repent means to turn from or change your mind about something. We need to change our mind about our sin and forsake it. We need to confess it as sin, and ask God’s forgiveness for our failure, and we will be forgiven. God’s Word promises that when we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us of whatever we’ve done that was wrong. In other words, regardless of what you’ve done, if you will give it to the Lord, confess and forsake it, you can receive mercy.

Psalms 32:5-8, “Finally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide them. I said to myself, ‘I will confess my rebellion to the Lord.’ And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone. Therefore, let all the godly confess their rebellion to you while there is time, that they may not drown in the floodwaters of judgment. For you are my hiding place; you protect me from trouble. You surround me with songs of victory. The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.” (NLT)

Psalm 51
1    Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.
2    Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
3    For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.
4    Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.
5    Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.
6    Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.
7    Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
8    Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.
9    Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.
10    Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
11    Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
12    Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.
13    Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.
14    Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.
15    O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.
16    For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering.
17    The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
18    Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem.
19    Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar.

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9). The faithful are to bring their sins to God in repentance and receive cleansing and forgiveness. God’s forgiveness does not necessarily mean that next there is no negative consequences as King David and Apostle Paul found it, not all sins are teat as equal as well, the longer it takes for one to admit their sins, the more severe the negative consequences too.. The mere act of confessing our sins does not get us forgiveness. You may falsely refuse to repent, feel that you can flirt with sin and get away with it. But God’s love demands fatherly chastisement. If you persist in your own way, God will send his judgment.
.

But the fact is that God does not cancel out all the consequences of sin. This truth is nowhere better illustrated than in the alter incidents of David’s life. The whole story of the rebellion of David’s son Absalom (2 Samuel 13-19) is an example. The judgment which God pronounced on David and his family because of his sin with Bathsheba is recorded in 2 Samuel 12:10-12. “Now, therefore, the sword shall never depart from thine house, because thou hast despised me, and hast taken the wife of Uriah, the Hittite, to be thy wife. Thus saith the Lord, Behold, I will raise up evil against thee out of thine own house, and I will take thy wives before thine eyes, and give them unto thy neighbor, and he shall lie with thy wives in the sight of this sun. For thou didst it secretly; but I will do this thing before all Israel, and before the sun.” A study of the context of these verses reveals that immediately after this, David confessed and was assured by the prophet Nathan that he had forgiveness. Nevertheless, the events that God had spoken of in His words of judgment fell exactly as He had said. God he restores the fellowship, but He does not always eliminate all the natural consequences of our rebellion.

.

Believe it or not when you sin deliberately and do not admit it, stop the sin even, there is still a price to pay.. even now especially for adultery… divorce… One of the undeniable punishment is that your sin is shouted from the Housetops..

.

“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’  But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart” (Matthew 5:27-28).  This tells us that adultery can take place within the heart [mind] and is just as sinful as an outward act.  The sin of the mind may not affect as many other people, families, and friends as the outward physical act, but it is still a sinful affront to the holiness of God.  This applies to the prevalence of Porno.  Often claimed to be a ‘victimless offense’, the damage pornography does to the heart of the one involved in it, and often to those around him/her, can be just as devastating.  Pornography and adultery often go hand in hand. Divorce and adultery are also actually God’s undeniable punishment for those looking at Porno. I have often noticed Christians persons who admit to looking at porno get divorced next.
.

Even sexual sin is a serious offence to God.. It has repercussions even on all.. Study the life of King David.. as God does not change.. I know first hand cause I am pastor for 30 years and a Christian for  50 years and God has personally talked to me about it many times too.. the consequences of even sexual sins still exist.. God is not mocked what a person sows he reaps is a new testament verse.. Pastors have been divorced, kicked out of their churches, committed suicide because of this too.. Sexual sins are common even in the ministry but not without consequences.. Look at Jim Baker, Jimmy Swaggart  and many others who have face their exposure and punishments.  Sexual sins  is arrogance. Sexual abuse and sexual harassment are also two of the ways people abuse their power.  And sin is sequential. Sin “happens,” but it seldom “just happens.” Sin does not come out of nowhere. We see this sequence in the Book of James:

13 Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, and He Himself does not tempt anyone. 14 But each one is tempted when he is carried away and enticed by his own lust. 15 Then when lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and when sin is accomplished, it brings forth death (James 1:13-15).

Even King David’s sin did not just suddenly appear in a moment of time. David set himself up for this fall. We all do need the continual disciplined life which causes us to bring our bodies under our control (see 1 Corinthians 9:24-27). We may weary of taking up our cross and begin to take up ourselves as our highest cause.  When we retreat from theGods instructions , a fall is not far away.

Ezekiel 3:18 When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.  19 Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

2 Samuel 4:11 How much more, when wicked men have slain a righteous person in his own house upon his bed? shall I not therefore now require his blood of your hand, and take you away from the earth?

We may also keep quiet, rather than bear witness to our faith, lest we be rejected by our peers. We may hold off from rebuking a fellow-believer, who is falling into sin, because the last time we tried it was very messy.  We still will also face Consequencxes for this too..

I know firsthand many many people who married People out of the will of God next had suffered for it..

Matthew 5 27 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:

28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

Matthew 19 9 And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.

18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,

Mark 10 11 And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her.

12 And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.

19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

James 2 11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.

2 Peter 2 14 Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:

One if the biggest mistake many people make is that they   falsely think or they believe  that because some time has passed God has overlooked their past sins, when this is not so.. if we confess ours ins he will forgive us..

Eternity is a term used to express the concept of something that has no end and/or no beginning. God has no beginning or end. He is outside the realm of time,   so next many people face negative consequences from God because of their sins even Adam and Eve,  Eli the Priest,  King Saul, King David, Samson, and the  account of the sudden deaths of Ananias (Hebrew, “the Lord is gracious”) and Sapphira (Aramaic, “beautiful”) makes us face the fact that God often deals with unrepentant   sins of even Christians how and when he chooses too.

This narrative Ananias  and Sapphira is really bad news,   for any who would take a casual approach to entering the kingdom of God and continues in sins .

“ Ananias and his wife Sapphira sold real estate ( ), brought and placed money at the apostles’ feet. This action paralleled Barnabas’s (4:37), with one significant difference. In collusion with his wife, Ananias kept back part of the money for himself. Literally, he embezzled from the sale price. Apostle Peter exposes the fraud. He knows the truth,  . By asking Ananias why Satan has filled his heart for the purpose of lying to the Holy Spirit and embezzlement, Peter exposes the spiritual battle that is raging (compare Lk 4:1-13). Satan now attacks Christ’s mission from within as he had done through Judas and Peter (Lk 22:3, 31). The “father of lies” (Jn 8:44) starts in the heart, the source of all decisions concerning possessions and their relation to God (Lk 12:34; 16:14-15; Acts 8:21-22; contrast 2:46; 4:32). Ananias shows not simply a lack of honesty in bringing only a part of the sale price but also a lack of integrity–bringing only a part while pretending to bring the whole .Apostle Peter now exposes Ananias’s full responsibility: he had full control over the property before it was sold, and over the sale price before he contributed any portion to the common fund (5:4). This statement can help us understand the arrangements of having all things in common (2:44; 4:32) and the practice of selling property and bringing the proceeds to the apostles as a contribution to a fund for the poor (4:34-37; compare 2:45), for it shows the voluntary, even periodic nature of the process. Peter again asks the piercing question “Why?” This sin, like all sin, is finally not against human beings but against God.But sin blinds us to the true nature of the offense: that our sin is against God. Sin also blinds us so that we choose short-term gains in this life, heedless of the long-term loss in the next (Lk 9:24-25). For Ananias it was the possibility of being praised for his generosity while keeping his secure nest egg . As Ananias listens to the  expose  suddenly he falls down and dies (exepsyxen, used primarily in accounts of death as a result of divine judgment–Acts 5:10; 12:23; Judg 4:21). God, the knower of all hearts, has assessed Ananias’s unrepentant heart and immediately judged him for his sin. The punishments for partaking of the priestly tithe while ritually unclean and the strange fire of Nadab and Abihu are the closest parallels (Lev 10:1-7; 22:9;  ). No wonder great fear comes upon the Jewish Christian bystanders (compare Acts 5:11; 19:17).  hree hours later Sapphira arrives. Luke, given his mention of her ignorance, probably intends us to understand Peter’s question to be about the agreed-upon false price, not the true price. Either way, his inquiry gives her an opportunity to confess or persist in her sin (compare Lk 22:48). In response, Peter again uses the penetrating “why” question.   He reveals his knowledge of the crime and points out its implications for their covenant relationship with God. In the wilderness the Israelites through their unbelief and murmuring against God were actually putting him to the test to see if he would indeed punish sin. At Kadesh Barnea they discovered that he does (Num 14:20-23; Ps 95:7-11; compare Deut 6:16). So Ananias and Sapphira learn that in this life God can, and when he chooses will, punish sinners either by immediate death or by some other means. This can happen to those who claim to be, and may truly be, a part of his covenant people, enjoy his salvation blessings and yet deliberately sin and remain unrepentant (1 Cor 5:5; 1 Jn 5:16-17). For Christians today this is still a temptation: to so luxuriate in the love and grace of God that we do not take seriously the consequences of our deliberate sinning. But God will not be mocked (Gal 6:7-8). Peter declares that the young men who buried Sapphira’s husband (the feet of points to their function as transporters of the dead) are at the door and will soon carry out another corpse. Thus Sapphira too experiences divine judgment by immediate death, and the believers again respond with dishonorable burial.

The message of this for Christian and non-Christian alike is self-evident. Christians must realize that the selfless, transparent fellowship of the church must never be violated by selfish hypocrisy. Further, it is proper to employ discipline to guard the church’s integrity, unity and purity. For the non-Christian, this account is a warning: Think twice before joining this holy fellowship. Are you willing to pay the price–fully renouncing wicked ways and full-heartedly embracing Christ and other believers in his body, the church? ”

Willful sins have still severe consequences.. especially  for all Pastors…

To contend that God will tolerate the violation of His marriage law today, simply because he did in the past, is to fly directly in the face of Jesus’ teaching in Matthew 19:8-9. Yes, Moses allowed divorce for trivial causes because of Israel’s hardness of heart. Yet Christ said, “but from the beginning it hath not been so.”

David tried to cover up their affair after Bathsheba became pregnant, and Bathsheba and David’s Adultery Led Him David to Greater Sins …The Fruit of David’s Sin

It is truly remarkable that some could seemingly suggest that God  virtually “looked the other way” with reference to David’s transgression, hence, will do so today. How desperate is the case of those who are obliged to defend their teaching by an example of which the Bible says: “the thing that David had done displeased God” (2 Sam. 11:27).

The aftermath of this sordid affair is evidence aplenty of the Lord’s abiding displeasure of it. The prophet Nathan was sent unto David. After telling the parable of the pirated ewe lamb, the fearless spokesman for God made application to the king: “Thou art the man.” He then boldly asked: “Why have you despised the word of God, to do what is evil in his sight?” (2 Sam. 12:9). A heavy penalty was about to be exacted.

And Nathan said to David, “The Lord also has put away your sin; you shall not die. However, because by this deed you have given great occasion to the enemies of the Lord to blaspheme, the child also who is born to you shall surely die.”

It is very clear in Samuel that the tragedies which take place in David’s household are the consequence of his sin, just as Nathan indicates (12:10-12). Thus, when Amnon rapes Tamar, the sister of Absalom, it is a case of the “chickens coming home to roost.” Note that it is at David’s command or summons that Tamar is called to the palace, and then to Amnon’s bedside. There is not so much as a hint that when Tamar is raped, it is all of Amnon’s doing. Should this not strongly indicate that the same is true in Bathsheba’s case, of which this second incident is a kind of mirror image?

First, David had taken Uriah’s wife and had him slain by the sword of the Ammonites; so, the sword was never to depart from his house. The fulfillment of this punishment is a matter of historical record.

Amnon, David’s eldest son by Ahinoam (1 Chron. 3:1), raped his half-sister, Tamar. Two years afterward, Absalom, the king’s son by Maacah (2 Sam. 3:3), had Amnon murdered (2 Sam. 13). Then, later, Absalom “stole the hearts of the men of Israel,” rebelled against his father, and was ultimately killed by Joab (2 Sam. 18). And even after David’s death, Adonijah, the king’s son by Haggith (2 Sam. 3:4), was slain by Solomon (1 Kgs. 2:24-25). A truly bloody price was paid for David’s lust and violence.

Second, David secretly fornicated with his warrior’s wife while the latter was engaged in defense of the nation. And so, God  declared:

“I will raise up evil against thee out of thine own house; and I will take thy wives before thine eyes, and give them unto thy neighbor, and he shall lie with thy wives in the sight of this sun. For thou didst it secretly: but I will do this thing before all Israel, and before the sun” (2 Sam. 12:11-12).

Some years later, Absalom openly rebelled against his father. David, upon hearing that the hearts of the men of Israel were in favor of Absalom, fled Jerusalem, leaving ten of his concubines behind to keep the palace (2 Sam. 15:16). When Absalom entered Jerusalem, upon the advice of Ahithophel (Bathsheba’s grandfather – 2 Sam. 11:3; 23:34), the young rebel pitched a tent upon the palace roof (the very place where David had first observed Bathsheba) and “went in unto his father’s concubines in the sight of all Israel” (2 Sam. 16:22).

Third, Nathan informed David that since this deed had “given great occasion to the enemies of Jehovah to blaspheme, the child also that is born unto thee shall surely die” (2 Sam. 12:14). Though we will briefly comment on this later, it will be sufficient to note here, with Edersheim, that the baby’s death was “for David’s sake, that he might not enjoy the fruit of sin” (p. 196).

How strange that this case is cited in support of the modern theory which alleges that adulterers should be allowed, with impunity, to enjoy the fruit of their sin.

Finally, it is not without significance that the apostle Matthew, centuries later, in listing the legal genealogy of Christ from Abraham downward, records by inspiration: “And David begat Solomon of her of Uriah” (Mt. 1:6).

The Greek text literally says ek tes tou Ouriou, i.e., “of [the her belonging to] Uriah.” Lenski comments:

“The simple way in which Matthew connects Israel’s two greatest kings is telling to the highest degree. Behind the little phrase lies adultery and murder and the death of the first child. And this woman, though unnamed, was a queen; rightfully she belonged to Uriah” (p. 29).

The thrust of this particular point is this: even in the dimness of pre-Christian antiquity, there were sometimes lifelong penalties attached to sins. God did not simply overlook the sin of David and accept the penitent king as he was. There was a price to be paid.

Even so today, frequently there are agonizing consequences that result from illicit relationships.

In Romans 3:25, it is argued by some  that due to God’s forbearance (anoche, “clemency, tolerance” ), sins committed aforetime   previously were passed over. This, of course, does not mean that God  ignored those sins; rather, the “passing over” (paresis) means “letting go unpunished” , and it is used of the “temporary suspension of punishment or at some later date   inflicted”

And the Lord Jesus, speaking in anticipation of the New Covenant, pronounces still that the   marriage-divorce law of Christ, therefore, is still this: “Whosoever shall put away his wife, except for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and he that marrieth her when she is put away committeth adultery” (Mt. 19:9; cf. 5:32).

This is the simple and strict will of Christ, and neither the case of David and Bathsheba, nor any other alleged biblical circumstance, can vitiate this strong teaching which so wonderfully undergirds the home, the foundation of society.

We must never allow emotionally wrought situations to sway us from the plain teaching of the truth of God. Our contemporaries deserve better from us than that.

Willful sins have still severe consequences.. especially  for all Pastors…

God kills Eli’s sons too for their sexual sins- and punished he whole family too.. There was an old priest name Eli, who had two sons, Hophni and Phinehas. Like Eli, his sons were priests, but they were bad priests who didn’t know God, stole meat from burnt offerings, and had sex with women at the door of the tabernacle. The sons of Eli were sons of Belial; they knew not the LORD. 1 Samuel 2.12 1 Samuel 2 22 Now Eli was very old, and heard all that his sons did unto all Israel; and how they lay with the women that assembled at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. 22 Now Eli was very old, and heard all that his sons did unto all Israel; and how they lay with the women that assembled at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.23 And he said unto them, Why do ye such things? for I hear of your evil dealings by all this people.24 Nay, my sons; for it is no good report that I hear: ye make the LORD’S people to transgress.25 If one man sin against another, the judge shall judge him: but if a man sin against the LORD, who shall intreat for him? Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto the voice of their father, because the LORD would slay them.26 And the child Samuel grew on, and was in favour both with the LORD, and also with men. 27 And there came a man of God unto Eli, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Did I plainly appear unto the house of thy father, when they were in Egypt in Pharaoh’s house?28 And did I choose him out of all the tribes of Israel to be my priest, to offer upon mine altar, to burn incense, to wear an ephod before me? and did I give unto the house of thy father all the offerings made by fire of the children of Israel?29 Wherefore kick ye at my sacrifice and at mine offering, which I have commanded in my habitation; and honourest thy sons above me, to make yourselves fat with the chiefest of all the offerings of Israel my people?30 Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.31 Behold, the days come, that I will cut off thine arm, and the arm of thy father’s house, that there shall not be an old man in thine house.32 And thou shalt see an enemy in my habitation, in all the wealth which God shall give Israel: and there shall not be an old man in thine house for ever.33 And the man of thine, whom I shall not cut off from mine altar, shall be to consume thine eyes, and to grieve thine heart: and all the increase of thine house shall die in the flower of their age.34 And this shall be a sign unto thee, that shall come upon thy two sons, on Hophni and Phinehas; in one day they shall die both of them.35 And I will raise me up a faithful priest, that shall do according to that which is in mine heart and in my mind: and I will build him a sure house; and he shall walk before mine anointed for ever.36 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left in thine house shall come and crouch to him for a piece of silver and a morsel of bread, and shall say, Put me, I pray thee, into one of the priests’ offices, that I may eat a piece of bread.   Eli … heard all that his sons did … how they lay with the women that assembled at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. and yet  he did nothing about it too..

Before killing Eli’s sons, though, God tormented Eli a bit. First, a “man of God” tells Eli that God will “consume his eyes” and “grieve his heart” and make sure that all of his descendants will die young. A man of God … said unto him, Thus saith the LORD … I will cut off thine arm… There shall not be an old man in thine house for ever … I shall … consume thine eyes and … grieve thine heart. 2.27-33 Then, just in case the first message didn’t get through, God sends another one to Eli through the boy prophet, Samuel. It takes God three tries to deliver the message, but he finally does. And it’s the same nasty message: God will make everyone’s ears tingle by punishing all of Eli’s unborn descendants for the sins of his sons. The LORD said to Samuel, Behold, I will do a thing in Israel, at which both the ears of every one that heareth it shall tingle. I will perform against Eli all things which I have spoken … I will judge his house for ever … because his sons made themselves vile, and he restrained them not. 3.11-13 Samuel delivers the message to Eli and he responds the way believers always do. (God can do whatever he wants — however absurd, cruel, or unjust — and they will call it good.) It is the LORD: let him do what seemeth him good. 3.18 So now God had to figure out how he was going to kill Eli’s sons. And that’s where the Philistines came in. God used them to kill Eli’s sons, along with a 34,000 Israelite soldiers.

In the first battle, the Israelites lost 4000 men.

The Philistines put themselves in array against Israel: and when they joined battle, Israel was smitten before the Philistines: and they slew of the army in the field about four thousand men. 4.2 Which surprised the heck out of the Israelites, since God was supposed to be on their side.

So they went to get the ark of the covenant, figuring it would protect them from the Philistines.

When the people were come into the camp, the elders of Israel said, Wherefore hath the LORD smitten us to day before the Philistines? Let us fetch the ark of the covenant of … that … it may save us out of the hand of our enemies. 4.3 Along with the ark, they also got Eli’s sons, Hophni and Phinehas.

So the people sent to Shiloh, that they might bring from thence the ark of the covenant of the LORD … and the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, were there with the ark of the covenant of God. 4.4 When the ark came to the Israelites’ camp, they all shouted at once, causing an earthquake.

When the ark of the covenant of the LORD came into the camp, all Israel shouted with a great shout, so that the earth rang again. 4.5 The earth shook so much that the Philistines felt it at their camp, and they knew just what it meant. God was with the Israelites and he was on their side.

The Philistines were afraid, for they said, God is come into the camp. And they said, Woe unto us! for there hath not been such a thing heretofore. 4.7 The Philistines had heard what God did to the Egyptians and they were afraid that now he’d do it to them. So they all said together: “Woe is us.”

Woe unto us! who shall deliver us out of the hand of these mighty Gods? these are the Gods that smote the Egyptians with all the plagues in the wilderness. 4.8 Then they snapped out of it and started to act like Philistines, and killed another 30,000 Israelites.

The Philistines fought, and Israel was smitten, and they fled every man into his tent: and there was a very great slaughter; for there fell of Israel thirty thousand footmen. 4.10 And, in the process, they also killed Eli’s sons.

The ark of God was taken; and the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, were slain. 4.11 Just as God said he would do in 1 Samuel 2.25 (I gave God credit for 34,002, 34,000 Israelite soldiers and Eli’s two sons: Hophni and Phinehas.)

1 Samuel 4:12 And there ran a man of Benjamin out of the army, and came to Shiloh the same day with his clothes rent, and with earth upon his head.13 And when he came, lo, Eli sat upon a seat by the wayside watching: for his heart trembled for the ark of God. And when the man came into the city, and told it, all the city cried out.14 And when Eli heard the noise of the crying, he said, What meaneth the noise of this tumult? And the man came in hastily, and told Eli.15 Now Eli was ninety and eight years old; and his eyes were dim, that he could not see.16 And the man said unto Eli, I am he that came out of the army, and I fled to day out of the army. And he said, What is there done, my son?17 And the messenger answered and said, Israel is fled before the Philistines, and there hath been also a great slaughter among the people, and thy two sons also, Hophni and Phinehas, are dead, and the ark of God is taken.18 And it came to pass, when he made mention of the ark of God, that he fell from off the seat backward by the side of the gate, and his neck brake, and he died: for he was an old man, and heavy. And he had judged Israel forty years. 19 And his daughter in law, Phinehas’ wife, was with child, near to be delivered: and when she heard the tidings that the ark of God was taken, and that her father in law and her husband were dead, she bowed herself and travailed; for her pains came upon her.20 And about the time of her death the women that stood by her said unto her, Fear not; for thou hast born a son. But she answered not, neither did she regard it. 21 And she named the child I-chabod, saying, The glory is departed from Israel: because the ark of God was taken, and because of her father in law and her husband.22 And she said, The glory is departed from Israel: for the ark of God is taken.

Fornication, Adultery is still a Sin against God and One’s Spouse it involves stealing that which does not belong to you firstly.

THE BIBLE ITSELF SAYS that the ignorant fools do not even know why they have so many problems or what to do with or about  them.

.

Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

.

Psalms 107:17 Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted.

.
Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
2 Peter 2: 9    The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:
Psalms 10: 43    Whoso is wise, and will observe these things, even they shall understand the lovingkindness of the LORD.
James 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
.
and here I often get an absurd response that the person is innocent, good, he or she has done no wrong and is not a sinner even..
Matthew 19:20 The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?
21    Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
22    But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.
23    Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.
24    And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
But their ignorance also of the Holy Spirit and his workings is even apparent to me
.
Yes we are all  sinful each one of us, and secondly, we do live in a sin-cursed, sin-stained fallen world, a world controlled by the devil.  as a direct result we face daily many difficulties, struggles too.
.
It is this also true God even allows bad things to happen to His people to wean them from their sins and from the  world… . to separate the chaff from the wheat.. or to reveal  what you love most. If you love your money, possessions, family etc., over God for example.. Trials, extremities, difficulties in life will always reveal what you love most.. are there even to cause a change in one’s  direction..
.
John 21:15 So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.
.
or God even allows bad things to happen to His people to cause them to be more compassionate on others…
.
2 Corinthians 1:4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
.
Psalms 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
.
Ezekiel 14:23 And they shall comfort you, when ye see their ways and their doings: and ye shall know that I have not done without cause all that I have done in it, saith the Lord GOD
.
Chastening, trials also allow God to teach us obedience..
.
1 Samuel 15:22 And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.
.
Hebrews 12:5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:
.
7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
.
11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
.
1 Corinthians 4:11 Even unto this present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwellingplace;
.
God even allows bad things to happen to His people to test the validity of their faith …
.
2 Chronicles 32:30    This same Hezekiah also stopped the upper watercourse of Gihon, and brought it straight down to the west side of the city of David. And Hezekiah prospered in all his works. 31    Howbeit in the business of the ambassadors of the princes of Babylon, who sent unto him to enquire of the wonder that was done in the land, God left him, to try him, that he might know all that was in his heart.
.
Habakkuk 2:4 Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.
.
Hebrews 10:38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
.
Romans 5:
1    Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
2    By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
3    And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
4    And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
5    And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
6    For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
7    For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
8    But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
9    Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
10    For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
11    And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.
.
1 Peter 2
20 For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.
.
James 5
11 Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.
.
James 4
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
.
1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
.
Can it supposedly be true now that  a professing Christian persons now  continually is having difficulties, problems in his life and  it is mainly cause God is chastening him.. and yet it seems to me that even  if you know that God is chastening you for your sins, even the sins of obedience, the chastening is short lived  if you would humble yourself and confess your sins, repent, stop the specific  wrong doings and all that  would not God now next forgive you and stop thus type of chastening?
.
Does not God say also 2 Corinthians 1: 11  that  through the  prayers of others next God’s  favor will be bestowed upon the afflfflicted person, and they will be delivered
.
James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
.
John 11:4 When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.
.
or is there really another major reasons this persons is having Satan buffeting him?  Is someone falsely too proud and that still is the reason they are supposedly being punished?  Now apostle Paul was clearly buffeted by sin for his past unacceptable sins of persecuting,  killing Christian.. is that why so many are facing satanic buffetings now?
.
2 Corinthians 12:7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.
.
Hebrews 5: 2    Who can have compassion on the ignorant, and on them that are out of the way; for that he himself also is compassed with infirmity.
.
Psalms 34:19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.
.
2 Timothy 4:17 Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.
.
Ps 138:7  Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You preserve my life. You stretch out Your hand against the anger of my foes; with Your right hand You save me.
.
Matthew 16:24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
.
Many persons are falsely still living in the Kingdom of self.. There Is Absolutely No Doubt Many Many Professing Christians Are Misleading Themselves That They Are Real Christians, even sincerely. and because their own false definition of what is a real Christian is firstly unBiblical. Being a Christian does not mean accepting that Jesus Christ is God or merely being a follower of Christ, it includes even giving over your whole life, possessions, goals, desire, aims, dreams, ambitions to the lord Jesus Christ and there is no such thing as Giving Jesus only a portion of your life.
.
2 Peter 2:
1    But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
2    And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
3    And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.
4    For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
5    And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;
6    And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;
7    And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:
8    (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)
9    The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:
.
Be still my soul, the Lord is on thy side. Bear patiently the cross of grief or pain, leave to thy God to order and provide, in every change He faithful will remain. Be still my soul, thy best thy heavenly friend through thorny ways leads to a joyful end. Be still my soul, thy God doth undertake to guide the future as He has the past, thy hope, thy confidence, let nothing shake. All now mysterious shall be bright at last, be still my soul, the waves and winds still know His voice who ruled them while He dwelt below. Be still my soul, the hour is hastening on when we shall be forever with the Lord, when disappointment, grief, and fear are gone, sorrows forgot. Love’s purest joy is restored. Be still my soul, when change and tears are past, all safe and blessed we shall meet at last.”
.
2 Corinthians 1:
1    Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, unto the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints which are in all Achaia:
2    Grace be to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
3    Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;
4    Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
5    For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.
6    And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.
7    And our hope of you is stedfast, knowing, that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation.
8    For we would not, brethren, have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in Asia, that we were pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired even of life:
9    But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead:
10    Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;
11    Ye also helping together by prayer for us, that for the gift bestowed upon us by the means of many persons thanks may be given by many on our behalf.
.
By the way, “we had the sentence of death in ourselves,” is a fascinating Greek word, apokrima, it’s used only here. It means, basically it’s a technical word for passing an official resolution. And he uses a legal term for passing the official death sentence. He says, “I pass the official death sentence on myself.”
.
James 1:
1    James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.
2    My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
3    Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
4    But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
5    If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
6    But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
7    For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
8    A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
9    Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted:
10    But the rich, in that he is made low: because as the flower of the grass he shall pass away.
11    For the sun is no sooner risen with a burning heat, but it withereth the grass, and the flower thereof falleth, and the grace of the fashion of it perisheth: so also shall the rich man fade away in his ways.
12    Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
13    Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:
14    But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
15    Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
16    Do not err, my beloved brethren.
17    Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
18    Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
19    Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
20    For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.
21    Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
22    But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
23    For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
24    For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
25    But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
26    If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man’s religion is vain.
27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
.

Matthew 5 20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 7 21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Matthew 7 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me,

.
Luke 15 7 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance. 10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.
James 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
.

“Every commandment which I command you today you must be careful to observe, that you may live and multiply, and go in and possess the land of which the LORD swore to your fathers. “And you shall remember that the LORD your God led you all the way these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you and test you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His  commandments or not. “So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the LORD.  ”Your garments did not wear out on you, nor did your foot swell these forty years. “You should know in your heart that as a man chastens his son, so the LORD your God chastens you.  ”Therefore you shall keep the commandments of the LORD your God, to walk in His ways and to fear Him. Deuteronomy 8:1-6

.

If suffering and poverty were God’s will in any shape or form for His people then God would not have delivered His people from Egypt and spoiled them with the wealth of Egypt. (God gave them so much silver and gold that they not only built the tabernacle with it but they have enough to take with them to the promised land.)  If poverty was God’s will He would not have brought them to a promised land – a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and springs, that flow out of valleys and hills; a land of wheat and barley, of vines and fig trees and pomegranates, a land of olive oil and honey; a land in which they ate bread without scarcity, in which they lacked nothing; a land whose stones were iron and out of whose hills they dug copper. A land where they built beautiful houses and dwell in them; where their herds and their flocks multiplied, and their silver and gold were multiplied, and all that they had was multiplied. (Deuteronomy 8:7-13)  God’s word is unchanging:

.

“And you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day. Deuteronomy 8:18

.

“Listen to Me, you who follow after righteousness, You who seek the LORD:  Look to the rock from which you were hewn,  And to the hole of the pit from which you were dug.  Look to Abraham your father,  And to Sarah who bore you; For I called him alone, And blessed him and increased him.”   For the LORD will comfort Zion,  He will comfort all her waste places; He will make her wilderness like Eden,  And her desert like the garden of the LORD;  Joy and gladness will be found in it, Thanksgiving and the voice of melody. Isaiah 51:1-3

.

THE ELDER,    To the beloved Gaius, whom I love in truth:  Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.  For I rejoiced greatly when brethren came and testified of the truth that is in you, just as you walk in the truth. 3 John 1:1-3

.

Yes, God gives power to get wealth that that He may establish His covenant with His people. The problem that God’s people are not wealthy and prosperous is not with God but with His people who live in a wilderness of their own choosing and have not claimed all that is rightfully theirs. God’s has stated that His people can have whatever they desire and if they desire to have nothing and living in spiritual and physical poverty that is their choice! He will not interfere with their choices because God is a perfect gentleman and gives them the desires of their hearts:

.

May He grant you according to your heart’s desire, And fulfill all your purpose. Psalm 20:4

You have given him his heart’s desire, And have not withheld the request of his lips. Selah Psalm 21:2

Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4

“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force. Matthew 11:12

.

Yes, the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force. Gideon and Barak and Samson and Jephthah,  David and Samuel and the prophets  through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,  quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. They just didn’t let things happen through their faith they made things too happen. Spoils of war went to those who fought in the battles even of their own choosing. The bible records for our profit and instruction:

.

By faith Moses, when he became of age, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter,  choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin,  esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt; for he looked to the reward. By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured as seeing Him who is invisible. By faith he kept the Passover and the sprinkling of blood, lest he who destroyed the firstborn should touch them. By faith they passed through the Red Sea as by dry land, whereas the Egyptians, attempting to do so, were drowned. By faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they were encircled for seven days. By faith the harlot Rahab did not perish with those who did not believe, when she had received the spies with peace. Hebrews 11:24-31

.

Yes, Moses when he became of age, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter,  choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin,  esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt; for he looked to the reward. Yes, the walls of Jericho fell down after they were encircled for seven days but only after Joshua did what the LORD had commanded him to do:

.

After the death of Moses the servant of the LORD, it came to pass that the LORD spoke to Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ assistant, saying:  ”Moses My servant is dead. Now therefore, arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them-the children of Israel. “Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses.  ”From the wilderness and this Lebanon as far as the great river, the River Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and to the Great Sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your territory. “No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you. “Be strong and of good courage, for to this people you shall divide as an inheritance the land which I swore to their fathers to give them. Joshua 1:1-6

.

Joshua chose to believe the LORD and act upon the words that He had given him including “Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you.” Yes, God is speaking constantly to His people but they don’t hear Him or unlike Joshua refuse to act on His words:

.

Now Jericho was securely shut up because of the children of Israel; none went out, and none came in. And the LORD said to Joshua: “See! I have given Jericho into your hand, its king, and the mighty men of valor.  ”You shall march around the city, all you men of war; you shall go all around the city once. This you shall do six days.  ”And seven priests shall bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark. But the seventh day you shall march around the city seven times, and the priests shall blow the trumpets. “It shall come to pass, when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, and when you hear the sound of the trumpet, that all the people shall shout with a great shout; then the wall of the city will fall down flat. And the people shall go up every man straight before him.” Joshua 6:1-5

.

Joshua believed God and went to war against Jericho and marched around the city once for six days. And then on the seventh day he marched around the city seven times, and the priests  blew the trumpets and all the people shouted with a great shout  then the wall of the city fell down just like God promised. Yes obedience to the words spoken by God and through His true prophets brings success and prosperity and spoils of war.  God’s word is unchanging:

And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.  ”He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.  ”And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;  ”they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”   So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.  And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen. Mark 16:15-20

.

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. John 14:12

.

It is a fact that western Christianity might be rich in organization, theology, doctrine, and tradition, but it is poor in spirit and sorely needed re-centering on the foundation from which it had strayed: the living Christ. Although the West owes so many of its blessings to Christianity there is little a desire for higher things. It worships, not God, but armed force, power, material things and fame. The West is like Judas Iscariot, who ate with Jesus, only to later deny him. The West ought to fear the fate of Judas, lest it hang itself on the tree of learning and knowledge rather than faith in God. They have for centuries been surrounded by Christianity, entirely steeped in its blessings, but the God’s truth has not penetrated them. Christianity is not at fault but rather in the hardness of their hearts. Materialism and intellectualism have made their hearts hard. The cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches have choked the words of Jesus sown in their hearts. Just as salty seawater cannot quench thirst, much of American religion cannot satisfy a spiritually thirsty person because it is saturated with materialism. God’s word is unchanging:

.

“Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful. “But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.”

.

Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field;  ”but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way. Matthew 13:22-25

.

God’s people cannot blame everything on their enemy, the devil, they must take responsibility for their own sins and choices in life and must repent of them. True riches come from God and not from what men pursue.  http://walthope.wordpress.com/2013/02/04/by-bread-alone/

Notice that there are two category of persons, one Category includes this persons who cry to God and he hears their prayers, does not meet their needs, and delivers them from their oppressions and hears their prayers. this group is the humble servants of God.
.
Psalms 107:19 Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses.
28 Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses.

Isaiah 19:20 And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto the LORD of hosts in the land of Egypt: for they shall cry unto the LORD because of the oppressors, and he shall send them a saviour, and a great one, and he shall deliver them.
.
But there is also another category of persons who cry unto God and God doe not hear their prayers.. This group is the self willed persons.
.
Jeremiah 11:11 Therefore thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon them, which they shall not be able to escape; and though they shall cry unto me, I will not hearken unto them.
.
Micah 3:4 Then shall they cry unto the LORD, but he will not hear them: he will even hide his face from them at that time, as they have behaved themselves ill in their doings.
.
Psalms 107:
1    O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
2    Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;
3    And gathered them out of the lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south.
4    They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in.
5    Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.
6    Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses.
7    And he led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city of habitation.
8    Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
9    For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.
10    Such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron;
11    Because they rebelled against the words of God, and contemned the counsel of the most High:
12    Therefore he brought down their heart with labour; they fell down, and there was none to help.
13    Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saved them out of their distresses.
14    He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and brake their bands in sunder.
15    Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
16    For he hath broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of iron in sunder.
17    Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted.
18    Their soul abhorreth all manner of meat; and they draw near unto the gates of death.
19    Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses.
20    He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
21    Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
22    And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing.
23    They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters;
24    These see the works of the LORD, and his wonders in the deep.
25    For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof.
26    They mount up to the heaven, they go down again to the depths: their soul is melted because of trouble.
27    They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wit’s end.
28    Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses.
29    He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.
30    Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven.
31    Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
32    Let them exalt him also in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the assembly of the elders.
33    He turneth rivers into a wilderness, and the watersprings into dry ground;
34    A fruitful land into barrenness, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein.
35    He turneth the wilderness into a standing water, and dry ground into watersprings.
36    And there he maketh the hungry to dwell, that they may prepare a city for habitation;
37    And sow the fields, and plant vineyards, which may yield fruits of increase.
38    He blesseth them also, so that they are multiplied greatly; and suffereth not their cattle to decrease.
39    Again, they are minished and brought low through oppression, affliction, and sorrow.
40    He poureth contempt upon princes, and causeth them to wander in the wilderness, where there is no way.
41    Yet setteth he the poor on high from affliction, and maketh him families like a flock.
42    The righteous shall see it, and rejoice: and all iniquity shall stop her mouth.
43    Whoso is wise, and will observe these things, even they shall understand the lovingkindness of the LORD.
It has been my too many years of personal experiences that the perverse Pentecostal preachers, the  prosperity prostitutes, adulterers, adulterers persons, some of them who falsely even  tithe to get richer, and not rather to help the poor persons,  are still really nits, for they do clearly now as well do really despise the poor and needy persons, and falsely covet to be richer and yes they also they can be found in both the secular and religious camps, yes their own attitudes, behaviors tend to be very similar. Even the very loudly professing Christians, the religious persons, the rather still carnal persons, the Judas followers,  while they now even do profess to be moral good living persons  but still when it comes to making more money they clearly bend their rules on morality, ethics, honesty, and they will even cheat, lie steal to acquire more wealth… they do also mainly still also do see other people as slave objects, slaves that can be used to help them increase their personal acquisition,  and they will cast out, sell out their poor  relatives, relationships still too..  but they still will even profess to be good persons even Christians  now too… and try to buy their way into heaven.
.
I can truly say I have walked with great joy the last 25 years, God meeting all of my needs, and any difficulties , trials I faced they were quite short lived now too.. they do not go on and on.. while God still corrects me  I have not been during this time  punished for any of my sins, cause I gave myself all to the Lord Jesus Christ.. all.

(Job 28:28 KJV) And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.

(2 Chr 19:7 KJV) Wherefore now let the fear of the LORD be upon you; take heed and do it: for there is no iniquity with the LORD our God, nor respect of persons, nor taking of gifts

(1 Cor 9:27 KJV) But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

Beware also always of men and women, bullies, tormentors, control freaks, persons, civil and public servants, politicians, pastors, leaders, elders, who falsely do, will try to enslave you, oppress you, exploit you even while they claim they are proclaiming the truth, democracy, trying to help you, etc., I do not have to accept any of the negative consequences, or bad acts of other persons and their sins too. That includes their verbal abuse, physical abuse, slander, lies, emotional abuses, their false silent treatment too now. etc.. I can even tell them that now too.

Is 51:23 ..your tormentors {and} oppressors, those who said to you, Bow down, that we may ride {or} tread over you; and you have made your back like the ground and like the street for them to pass over

Is 55:7 Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to the Lord, and He will have love, pity, {and} mercy for him, and to our God, for He will multiply to him His abundant pardon. 8 For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, says the Lord. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.

Is 56:10 watchmen are blind, they are all without knowledge; they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; dreaming, lying down, they love to slumber.

I still am often amazed how many control freaks I do encounter, and yes often they can also be found in schools, homes, work, church, governments, elsewhere too.. these are people who often claim they are giving you some helpful hints, tips, advice but are trying to manipulate you to do something they rather want. “there’s no one answer to abuse…..here is one that helps you till God deals with the other person.. he often takes them far away from you, and some even die early.. or they do next suffer really bad…  control freaks seldom recognize their fears. At work, they may worry about failure. In relationships, they may worry about not having their needs met. To keep this anxiety from overwhelming them, they try to control the people or things around them. They have a hard time with negotiation and compromise and they can’t stand imperfection. Needless to say, they are difficult to live with, work with and/or socialize with.  “Those who demand the most often give the least.” Ask them to send you something or do something for you. By asking something of them, you will be indicating that you are not intimidated or diminished by their behavior patterns. In order to not feel degraded, humiliated and have your sense of self and self worth assaulted, you need to avoid being bulldozed by a controlling lover, boss or friend. When you are caught up in a truly destructive/controlling attachment, the best response may still also still be to expose them and to call the police and also walk out.  We cannot never control a bad person, a drug addict or an alcoholic, but we can learn all about it and learn firstly to control our own behavior, appropriate responses –including how we should behave in the relationship with the sick and suffering and /or possibly manipulative addict or alcoholic, abuser OR THESE pretentious persons.. Public exposure and prosecution of the guilty persons seems to be most effective way that works for everyone’s benefit in dealing with the bad acts of others still. While too too do   believe in all things work for the best for those who love God, but I rebuke all evil persons rightfully still.. I do not accept rightfully their abuse of me or the others. Here is my reality.. Control freaks are demonic persons, led by the devil, who try to abuse us and to  bring us into bondage, and they tend to get a lot more crazy, get a lot worse..  Jesus has set me free.. from even being hooked to sins, and also from the bondage, the false oppression, enslavement by others.. sadly many other people want to be still enslaved but not me, I have really experienced freedom, I know what it is like, and I want to maintain my full freedom by God’s permission, help, now too. When I think about being set free I often do think about two images, visions that God has given me typically.. an all black, dark picture that turns to a normal scenery… and a picture of a large snake coming at me the size of a train which next disappears instead..
Many people rightfully practice tough  love.. Being nice or kind, friendly  to a really bad person  is still also a complete waste of time, for they will not change their negative behaviors on their own, they see   no reasons to do so now still too. Sad but true. We cannot never control a bad person, a drug addict or an alcoholic, but we can learn all about it and learn firstly to control our own behavior, appropriate responses –including how we should behave in the relationship with the  sick and suffering and /or possibly manipulative addict or alcoholic, abuser..
Establish Boundaries, Set Limits, Set detachment.  One example of setting a boundary is telling a close friend, even a loved one  that you prefer they not be around you if they are smoking,  drunk or high. Notice that it is specific demand, and you have to sit down and communicate this type of request explicitly with that someone. Setting a boundary like this is difficult because there is this tendency to hurt other’s feelings. But that is part of what is keeping you ineffective– your caring more about this person’s feelings than your own personal well being. Setting boundaries is about putting your own personal well being and even that of others first, and letting that be a guiding example of how to live. You know you are setting effective boundaries when you are taking back control of your own life firstly and starting to regain your own sanity–instead of being all wrapped up in the problems of a struggling smoker, rebel, drug addict or alcoholic.

“Here are some more  things that you can do in order to practice detachment with the struggling pervert in your life: -Don’t do things that they should be doing themselves. -Don’t bend over backwards to rescue them or save them from natural consequences. -Don’t cover up for their mistakes or embarrassing situations. -Don’t rescue them from crisis or financial situations. -Don’t try to fix them. -Let go of any guilt you may have about them
Detachment is not about denying your emotions. If someone close to you dies, for example, you will probably feel sad. You can’t choose this feeling. It simply is. But we do have the power to affect the intensity of this feeling, by focusing on the positive aspects of the situation. We can also change our thinking in an attempt to eradicate irrational beliefs that might be contributing to our emotional turmoil.
The goal is not to go without emotions, the goal is to achieve some level of emotional stability. We are detaching from the negative, irrational thoughts that stir up our emotions–like the guilt we might have if we think someone’s perversity, addiction is our fault.
Detachment is difficult and takes practice.”

Here also is what I know for sure, the older the person is the more extreme, more severe, the more difficult the punishment has to be on them to cause them to personally to change in their own negative ways, for they are too set in them now too.
ALCOHOL and drugs now are still a sin, A VICE AND NOT A NECESSITY . and a lot of criminal activity linked to drug addiction, alcohol too.

Some persons rightfully maintain that prison,  job termination are still the main and best solution to this problem of alcoholics, drug abuses too .. for my being kind to the UNREPENTANT wicked, bad, no good persons is really now still a complete waste of time, energy, effort for without real negative consequences neither they or the others tempted to follow them they will not tend to readily positive change, for their own good or the good of others.
(Isa 26:10 KJV)  Let favour be showed to the wicked, yet will he not learn righteousness: in the land of uprightness will he deal unjustly, and will not behold the majesty of the LORD.11 LORD, when thy hand is lifted up, they will not see: but they shall see, and be ashamed for their envy at the people; yea, the fire of thine enemies shall devour them.

(Hab 2:5 KJV)  Yea also, because he transgresseth by wine, he is a proud man, neither keepeth at home, who enlargeth his desire as hell, and is as death, and cannot be satisfied, but gathereth unto him all nations, and heapeth unto him all people:
I have really also learned  from personally observing many persons the last 35 years that there tends to be no such thing as a little bit pregnant,  that to open the barn door a little bit,  left unrestrained, undisciplined, unsupervised, means  the barn door next  will eventually swing wide open.. and when any person tends to personally allow, start a little acceptable vice, abuse, eventually the other even bigger vices, abuses  do now also tend to grow, develop there as well..  and yes while some deny it they too all thus next can be easily discovered, even though the guilty persons too often  will deny this.. and this includes even now next the vices of pre-marital sex, sodomy, polygamy, alcoholism, gambling,  adultery,  drunkenness, bingeing, gluttony, gouging, self-destructive behaviors, selfishness, indifference, apathy, jealousy, anger, hate,   envy,   rudeness, irritability or grudges , lust, cussing, cheating , addiction, shoplifting, stealing, tax evasions and even the others abusive behaviors of bullying, racism, discrimination, pride, lying.  Many people lie to others and falsely deny they have a personal problem. You see one of the major problem about lying is one next tends to believe in one’s own lie as being the truth when they   still are not the truth, and one does do becomes personally partially often next even insane for lying.  …  And most people still do even lie every 3 to 5 minutes they undeniably say? But some person lie a lot more than others, a lot more.. even to themselves , others and to the courts especially. it is not just all the men now that are supposedly the bad guys. in reality men and women are still equal sinners according to God still too and both lie, sin. One of the major problem about lying is one next tends to believe in one’s own lie as being the truth when they still are not… Most of the liars  still are wrongfully not willing to take any personal responsibility, accountability for their own faults, their own shortcomings now next  too and project wrongfully their faults, problems even on the others

The real, root problem often is not the alcohol, or the drugs themselves, alone but rather one honestly dealing with themselves and their own real shortcomings  still too.The basic secret of all successful substance abuse termination programs are accepting personal responsibility, personal accountability,  the individual first personally has to admit he or a she  has done wrong, also admits he or she now does needs help,  admit that they is willing to take the help.. all three aspects are required still too. An appropriate real self examination on their own part is always needed firstly here  for it is also their  own real bad personal acts,  and related guilt that next contributes, contributed to his or  her own poor self image, fears, additional  problems..  especially more when things did not go the way he or she had planned beforehand .

Do face it the person who takes bad drugs, alcohol does take it willingly and he or she should also suffer real negative consequences for his poor personal choice here on earth still too, especially when his or her choice harms anyone else.

The Public exposure and prosecutions of the guilty persons starting rightfully at the top, but goes down to the bottom as well  serves everyone’s best interest and is continually mandatory for everyone’s best and good welfare.

(Luke 17:3 KJV)  Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. …. but their supposed repentance does not automatically exclude their negative consequences still

(Prov 22:1 KJV)  A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold.

Can a Person change themselves? Is there hope for anyone? Only if they follow God’s rules!! Accepting Jesus! and we all should look in hope at the calendar.. 2008 ad.. 2008 years after the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ… so undeniably off an event it even changed the calendar history too.

(Mat 4:17 KJV)  From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Biblical repentance is admitting one sins to God, stopping and consciously turning away from them, turning back toward God,  and personally accepting Jesus Christ finished work, forgiveness for them. True repentance is confession, contrition,   change; replacement and it involves the whole person, Our Body, Soul, Spirit. It is also  a personal, ongoing event. http://jesussayscome.wordpress.com/2012/09/13/repent-for-the-kingdom-of-heaven-is-at-hand/

Luke 2:39-52

[39] When Joseph and Mary had done everything required by the Law of the Lord, they returned to Galilee to their own town of Nazareth. [40] And the child grew and became strong; he was filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was upon him.

[41] Every year his parents went to Jerusalem for the Feast of the Passover. [42] When he was twelve years old, they went up to the Feast, according to the custom. [43] After the Feast was over, while his parents were returning home, the boy Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem, but they were unaware of it. [44] Thinking he was in their company, they traveled on for a day. Then they began looking for him among their relatives and friends. [45] When they did not find him, they went back to Jerusalem to look for him. [46] After three days they found him in the temple courts, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions. [47] Everyone who heard him was amazed at his understanding and his answers. [48] When his parents saw him, they were astonished. His mother said to him, “Son, why have you treated us like this? Your father and I have been anxiously searching for you.”

[49] “Why were you searching for me?” he asked. “Didn’t you know I had to be in my Father’s house?” [50] But they did not understand what he was saying to them.

[51] Then he went down to Nazareth with them and was obedient to them. But his mother treasured all these things in her heart. [52] And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.

It is really sad that desperate, oppressed sheep want to believe anything without checking directly with God, Jesus,  the Holy Spirit first. 1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Revelation 16
13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

The devil wants us to be ostriches, to take his false abuses and to falsely shut up.. but no way,, we all still do have a right to speak and to be heard.

But  we serve God and not ourselves, we are only God’s  servants.. doing that which he God  has commanded us to do

Matthew 10
27 What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.

Luke 1
74 That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear,

Romans 6
6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

Romans 7
6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

Hebrews 12
28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

Revelation 7
15 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.

2 Peter 2
9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

Luke 7
22 Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached.

and he Jesus was prophetically telling us to tell the Baptists that Jesus still heals today too ehh

Matthew 21
6 And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them,

Mark 13
34 For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.

Luke 17
9 Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I trow not.

Acts 1
4 And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.

Acts 10
42 And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.

Acts 13
47 For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.

Matthew 23
23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

Matthew 25
40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

Luke 17
10 So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.

Matthew 5
15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

Philippians 4
13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Hebrews 6

10 For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

18 That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:

19 Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;

James 5

11 Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.

1 John 1

1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;

2 (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)

3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

2 John 1

8 Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.

(Ezek 3:18 KJV)  When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

(Ezek 33:8 KJV)  When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

(James 4:7 KJV)  Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8  Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. 9 Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. 10  Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

(2 Cor 2:11 KJV)  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

If the devil cannot sway you personally, even with a Bible verse out of context, he will send one of his human followers to do so.. Three are many followers, seducers of Christians today in reality even on the net, TV< Churches, books….

INSTEAD OF CURING YOU THEY WILL GIVE YOU A SLEEPING PILL

-There are the Judaizers, trying to both put you into bondage under the Old Testament laws and are working hard take you to hell, even the bad messianic Jews..

-There are the hireling preachers, prosperity preachers, all those mainly out to get your money, the people who also do lie and say you have to tithe to them..

-There are those dammed dispensationalists, rapturists, future prophecy sensationalists who try to get you on the false road of 666, Armageddon away from Jesus Christ -Then there are those bad “Third Wave Pentecostals” who practice adultery, stealing..

– Then there are those “Grace” extremists, maniacs, who lie and say you do not have to repent anymore, you are eternally saved..

– Then there are those false brethren crept into unaware, the control freaks, those who seek to promote thsmselves, , have false preeminence.. the power hungry persons seeking their own followers

-And there are those Holy Spirit haters, those who hate the gifts of the Holy Spirit cause they are walking with the devil

and just when you start to think you have arrived  now, have  it all you, rather are likely walking into one of their traps.

(2 Tim 3:1 KJV)  This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.2  For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,3  Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5  Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6  For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 8  Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. 9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.

(Jer 6:30 KJV)  Reprobate silver shall men call them, because the LORD hath rejected them.

(Acts 20:31 KJV)  Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears. 32  And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified. 33  I have coveted no man’s silver, or gold, or apparel.

Messiah – the basic meaning of the Hebrew, ‘Mashiah,’ and the Greek, ‘Cristos,’ is “Anointed One.” In the “Old Testament,” the word is used of prophets, priests, and kings who were consecrated to their office with oil. The expression “the Lord’s anointed” and its equivalent is not used as a technical designation of the Messiah, but refers to the king of the line of David, ruling in Jerusalem, and anointed by the Lord through the priest. The “Old Testament,” picture of the Messiah as one who will put an end to sin and war and usher in universal righteousness and through His death will make vicarious atonement for the salvation of sinful men . The “New Testament” concept of the Messiah is developed directly from the teaching of the Old Testament. Jesus of Nazareth is the Messiah; he claimed to be and the claimed was acknowledge by His disciples.

[Luke 4:18 ” The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent

me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to released the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.” Acts 4:27 Indeed Herod and Pontius Pilate met together with the Gentiles and the people of Israel in this city to conspire against your Holy servant Jesus, whom you anointed. Acts 10:36-38 This is the message God send to the people of Israel, telling the good news of peace through Jesus Christ who is the Lord of all. v37 You know what has happened throughout Judea, beginning in Galilee after the Baptism, that John preached– 38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with Him  You can tell if any person is a real christian if they are anointed with the Holy Spirit and His power.. http://?anyonecare.wordpress.com/2008/?05/03/anointed-continued/

1 Tim 6:10  For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 11  But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. 12  Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

The word of God instructs us to walk by faith and not by sight and Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 3:6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. 3:7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and depart from evil. 3:8 It will be health to your flesh, And strength to your bones. 3:9 Honor the LORD with your possessions, And with the firstfruits of all your increase; 3:10 So your barns will be filled with plenty, And your vats will overflow with new wine..

A Christian Missionary in 389 A.D. who at 60 years of age and for the next 60 years became an evangelist to Ireland stated St. Patrick stated: “The Lord hath given to me, though humble, the power of working miracles among a barbarous people, such as are not recorded to have been worked by the great Apostles; inasmuch as, in the Name of Our Lord Jesus Christ, I have raised from the dead bodies that have been buried many years; but I beseech you, let no one believe that for these or the like works I am to be at all equaled with the Apostles, or with any perfect man, since I am humble, and a sinner, and worthy only to be despised.”It has been reported that St. Patrick was a great missionary who became a bishop who converted a whole land from paganism, overturning the religion of the druids. He slept on rocks and prayed into the night. He consecrated 350 bishops, erected 700 churches, and ordained 5,000 priests. In less than 30 years the greater part of Ireland was Catholic; St. Patrick so consolidated it in the Christian faith that during the Protestant Revolt Ireland was almost unique in its preservation of the Faith. We have a man in 400 AD who operated in the gifts of the Spirit when many evangelicals falsely say that the gifts of the Spirit ceased by 100 A.D

Bud Press of Christian research writes :The Prophetic Movement is a dark, evil waste land teeming with false apostles, false prophets, hyper-heretics, false healers, and greedy, money-hungry con men and women, all of whom are overshadowed by Satan and his demonic forces. From the Prophetic Movement came doctrines of demons such as: man is a “god” or “God;” Jesus took on Satan’s nature, sinned, and had to be born again in hell; God is subject to man’s desires and wishes; visits to heaven and hell; fabricated and lying signs and wonders; extra-Biblical dreams, visions, and revelations; man-infested manifestations; prosperity poverty; and one-on-one encounters with angels, Old Testament prophets, New Testament apostles, and “Jesus Christ”. Many within the Prophetic Movement claim to live pain free, disease free, and even sin free (despite 1 John 1:8-10. Notice the word “we” in all three passages). But one thing they won’t live free from is old age and death. http://www.christianresearchservice.com/The_Prophetic_Movement.htm

The whole pseudo-ministry is just that false. They put on a religious show. As you have pointed out clearly: their god is money. They are enjoying the “strong delusion” that God has sent upon all that are condemned (2 Thess. 2: 11- 12) with “pretended signs and wonders” (2 Thess. 2: 9 – 10) and are living “with all wicked deception for those who are to perish, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved”. Again, they are wrong because they “know neither the Scriptures nor the power of God” (Matt. 22: 29).   The other thing that these people, are overlooking is that they are blaspheming against the Holy Spirit (Matt. 12: 22 – 31; Mk. 3: 20 – 30; Lk. 11: 14 – 23). Like the Pharisees who attributed the work of the Holy Spirit to demons, they are attributing the works of demons to the Holy Spirit. They have revoked their own salvation but the Holy Spirit is convicting them and condemning them every day. Our God has never left an excuse for anybody to sin with immunity. And, that is what these people do who try to tell us that if somebody sins after receiving salvation, they were not really saved in the first place. Usually, these are the very people who have never received the Holy Spirit and who make up unscriptural excuses for people who had had their names removed from the Book of Life (Rev. 3: 5).     They continuously experience the wrath of God (Rom. 1: 18). They are in a constant state of rebellion (Is. 15: 23). They indulge in the works of the flesh (Gal. 5: 19 – 21) of which Paul says, “I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.” Their consciences have been seared (1 Tim. 4: 2) and they are doing of what is described as “every man did what was right in his own eyes”.When people think they can sin with immunity, there will be agreement by the Holy Spirit that the legal charges have been laid before Jesus are right/legal, those people who did not listen to the Holy Spirit and accept the terms of the New Testament will be sentenced to the lake of fire (Rev. 21: 08). When the devil is called the accuser of the brethren, the Greek word means that the devil is our opponent (Greek: antidikos) who legally accuses those who have sinned (Rev. 12: 10). “  What I have described here is really the point of the Parable of the Unforgiving Servant (Matt. 18: 23 – 35). It is about a man (us) who owes his King (Jesus) 10,000 talents of Gold (his or our sin-debt) which at today’s gold price is over 32 Billion Dollars. He cannot repay the debt and begs for forgiveness and he is forgiven. He goes way and meets a man who owes him about $320.00 and when the man cannot repay the debt, he has the man arrested and thrown into prison. When the King (Jesus) hears about this, he calls the man back and says to him, “You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt because you besought me; and should not you have had mercy on your fellow servant, as I had mercy on you?” He is turned over to the jailers (torturers) till he should pay all his debt. “So also my heavenly Father will do to every one of you, if you do not forgive your brother from your heart.” The point here is that a person who has received salvation and the Holy Spirit can have their sin debt reinstated and they can lose their salvation and end up in hell. This is the reality for anyone who can think that they can sin and not lose their salvation. “

Now as the many hyper Charismatic movements  merge into one, they bring their own counterfeit gospel, counterfeit spirit, and counterfeit “Jesus Christ,” who disguises himself as an angel of light, and is backed by false apostles, deceitful workers–men and women who appear as servants of righteousness (2 Corinthians chapter 11) In 2 Timothy 3:12-13, the Apostle Paul lovingly warned Timothy of what to expect from the world and wolves in sheep’s clothing:

It is true that it all it takes is for a person to go into these false hyper Charismatic movements Christian meetings and they too will get demon possessed. Also, true that some spirits will jump on the heads and they backs of people and these manifestations will taken on the signs of demon possession because they manipulate the person’s mind from the outside…. exactly like a mind control handler would operate.

However, if the possessed minister lays their hands on the person they will receive transference of spirits.1 Tim 5:22
22 Lay hands suddenly on no man neither be partaker of other men’s sins: keep thyself pure. KJV

But the other side of the coin is that the Traditional churches are ALSO not better than the bad Third Wave churches, hyper Charismatic movements

Now “…repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.”

‎2 Pet 2:1  But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. 2 Pet 2:2  And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. 2 Pet 2:3  And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not. 2 Pet 2:4  For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; 2 Pet 2:5  And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly; 2 Pet 2:6  And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly; 2 Pet 2:7  And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked: 2 Pet 2:8  (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;) 2 Pet 2:9  The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished: http://iamthetruthcenter.blogspot.ca/2012/03/ghostwriter-of-prosperity-gospel.html

About these false Future proohecy Sensationalists.. is it not funny how so many of the future prophecy dispensationalists still canot agree on the specifics.. and how they differ so much about it now too.. very few agree.. there specifcs are even inapplicable..   If Future Prophecy is so viable now then why did not God tell Daniel the specifics.. but rather the Angel said to Daniel forget about it.. cause God is in control ..Dan 12:7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished. 8 And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? 9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. 10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand. 11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. 12 Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the 13 But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.

Imagine this the teachings of Jesus recorded in this especially Matthew 24, are commonly misapplied by these false people looking for future signs and undestanding about the of the end of the world. Whereas the passge refers to the prophetic shortly to the Jewish end of the wold occuring by the Roman dispersons of the Jews. “After numerous charges against the scribes and Pharisees for their mistreatment of God’s Law, Jesus concludes his condemnation by prophesying the consequences of their sins. The Jews had killed God’s prophets in the past. Though this current generation thought they were above such misdeeds, Jesus stated that they would continue to kill righteous people. They were not above the misdeeds of their forefathers, they were just as guilty. The punishment for killing God’s people would fall upon this very generation.” http://?www.lavistachurchofchrist.org/?LVstudies/GospelAccounts/?a47FallOfJerusalem.html

Jesus has not revealed to us too much about the prophetic future.. but too many people seem too readily to expound on the subject.. and they now do too often too misqoute inapplicable old and new testament verses.. especialy the dispensationalists or sensationalists.. and I find it ironic that any person would like to talk about 666 over talking about Jesus, and they rarely even talk about the Holy Spirit.

Mat 12:39  But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas: 40  For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. 41  The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here. 42  The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here. 43  When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walket…h through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. 44  Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. 45  Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation. .
Fools take one verse and try to build a whole lying doctrine out of it. Reality is that many of these still Fools take one verse and try to build a whole lying doctrine out of it.. they preach more about the end times over Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, cause clearly they do not know them yet....
Do you not know that on the day the Ten Commandments were given 3,000 people were killed at the foot of Mount Sinai BECAUSE OF the law and because of THEIR SINS TOO.

But on the Day of the Pentecost 3,000 people were saved, FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRTI NOW TOO they were given by Jesus Christ an abundant life in contrast.
THE BIBLE SAYS THAT EVEN SATAN CAN TRANSFORM HIMSELF AS AN ANGEL OF LIGHT and he even quotes Bible verses to Jesus. These FUTURISTIC all they can do next to the presentation of the truth is to lie, slander, make false threats of damnations.. AS these fools, perverts falsely also do believe, think that God hears the prayers of such demonic persons as them even.. they are realy demonic practising witchcraft now too.. so what is new.. they show they are of the father th devil they still are going to hell now. Now “…repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” iF THEY ARE ALL SO SPIRITUAL WHY DO THEY ALL MOSTLY SEEL THEIR MATERIAL AND NOT GIVE IT AWAY FREELY LIKE JESUS SAID WE SHOULD. MY MATERIAL IS ALL FREE.. http://pbulow.tripod.com/index.html

Being a false teacher, apostle, preacher, prophet, elder, pastor, evangelist or what ever, and preaching lies, distortions, false messages is still a personal choice, the main problem here is the false messenger not just the message.. if a man’s heart is not right with God, most of what he or she next does is false, wrong..

(Mat 12:34 KJV) O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

(Mat 12:35 KJV) A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

(Psa 119:165 KJV) Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.

1 Cor 13:1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.:4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, :5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; :6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; 7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. 8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. 9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.

(Luke 6:35 KJV) But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.

(Titus 2:2 KJV) That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience.

(Prov 9:8 KJV) Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee.

(Prov 27:5 KJV) Open rebuke is better than secret love.

(Rev 3:19 KJV) As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

(1 Tim 3:1 KJV) This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach; 3 Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous;4 One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity;5 (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?) 6 Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil.7 Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil

Love God, love others and the rest will take care of itself..

(Eccl 7:9 KJV) Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools.

It is interesting to me as to how so often some people can be so nice to you firstly when you go along with them or they want you to do something for them.. but next if you refuse to do it they can turn very quickly ugly, showing what they are realy like an also will call you names, slander you, insults you, all because of their spoiled behavior, showing for their false rage now, and even suggesting to you to take medications, get medical help.. Now I have often wish they would practised what they preach to others and got the help they firstly needed…

For I too am sure you like me have too often now encountered the novice mass distribution impatient professing Christian poster, who aggressively, and CLEARLY lacking love and maturity, tries to get attention, popularity, recognition, fame, by the spreading of his VERSION of the Gospel message to all at all costs, the ends justifying his means.. sadly the same immature. know it all poster whole will not easily accept rebuke, help, but next also gores into a rage when you do not go along with him or her.. so please do ASAP remind them of all of these verses now also in the Bible.

(Luke 8:15 KJV) But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.

(Luke 21:19 KJV) In your patience possess ye your souls.

(Rom 15:4 KJV) For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

(Rom 15:5 KJV) Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:

(2 Cor 6:4 KJV) But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,

(2 Cor 12:12 KJV) Truly the signs of an apostle were wrought among you in all patience, in signs, and wonders, and mighty deeds.

(Col 1:11 KJV) Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

(1 Th 1:3 KJV) Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;

(2 Th 1:4 KJV) So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure:

(1 Tim 6:11 KJV) But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

(2 Tim 3:10 KJV) But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,

(Heb 10:36 KJV) For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

(Heb 12:1 KJV) Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

(James 1:3 KJV) Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

(James 1:4 KJV) But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

(James 5:7 KJV) Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.

(James 5:10 KJV) Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience.

(James 5:11 KJV) Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.

(2 Pet 1:6 KJV) And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;

(Rev 1:9 KJV) I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.

(Rev 3:10 KJV) Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

Now God still  expect us all to live the Gospel according to Jesus Christ and not just to preach it to others. I would rather rightfuly see a sermon being practised firstly by the preacher.

1 Tim 1:9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, 10 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for men stealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;

(Titus 1:12 KJV) One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies. 13 This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith; 14 Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth. 15 Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled. 16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

(Rev 2:2 KJV) I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:

Rev 21:7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. 8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Proverbs 3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths..

But seek ye first the kingdom of God , and his righteousness ; and all these things shall be added unto you. (Matthew 6:33)

I am Alpha and Omega , the beginning and the end , the first and the last (Rev 22:13)

John 20:22- He breathed on them and saith unto them, receive ye the HOLY GHOST. Acts 4:31 – AND they were all filled with the HOLY GHOST and they spake the word of God with boldness.

1 John 2:15-16-Do not love the world or anything in the world. If you love the world, love for the Father is not in you. For everything in the world—the cravings of sinful people, the lust of their eyes and their boasting about what they have and do—comes not from the Father but from the world.

If any of you is lacking in wisdom, ask God, who gives to all generously and ungrudgingly, and it will be given you. And ask in faith, never doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind. (James 1:5-6)

Let those suffering in accordance with God’s will entrust themselves to a faithful Creator, while continuing to do good. (1 Peter 4:19)

James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. 17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. 18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit. 19 Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; 20 Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.
