On the Day of Pentecost the Holy Spirit fell upon the assembled believers and “all of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues” (Acts 2:4). Later, as Peter was preaching at the house of Cornelius, “the Holy Spirit came on all who heard the message” and they were “speaking in tongues and praising God” (Acts 10:44, 46). Again, as the apostle Paul was ministering to the Ephesian disciples, “the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied” (Acts 19:6). It is evident also that Paul himself was filled with the Holy Spirit (Acts 9:17) and spoke in tongues (1 Corinthians 14:18). These Scriptures clearly show that speaking in tongues is the initial physical evidence of being baptized in the Holy Spirit. The norm was, is that all once baptized in the Holy Spirit do speak in tongues..

The Bible itself must be the conformation source of establishing the present-day validity of speaking in tongues.

Jesus confirmed it

Mark 16:15-17 He [Jesus] said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues.

“Why do many persons speak in tongues?” is that Jesus endorsed the practice.

Jesus had said that speaking in tongues is one of the signs that “will accompany those who believe.”

Acts 1:4-5; 2:1-4, KJV And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me. For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence…. [2:1] And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Those persons who have received this baptism with the Spirit, with the evidence of speaking in tongues, have generally in modern times been called

Pentecostals“.

We can see that the Bible uses the terms “baptized with the Holy Ghost” and “filled with the Holy Ghost” as synonyms for the same biblical experience. And the discernible evidence of that baptism with the Holy Spirit was their speaking in tongues.

Acts 1:5 (KJV) — “John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.” Jesus made a clear distinction between

water baptism and baptism with the Holy Spirit. They thus are not one and the same.

Acts 10:44-47 While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit came on all who heard the message. The circumcised believers who had come with Peter were astonished that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on the Gentiles. For they heard them speaking in tongues and praising God. Then Peter said, “Can anyone keep these people from being baptized with water? They have received the Holy Spirit just as we have.”

Now how did Peter and his companions know that they had received “the gift of the Holy Spirit”? The answer is in verse 46: “FOR they heard them speaking in tongues.” Again, as in Acts 2, the evidence of their having received the gift of the Holy Spirit was their speaking in tongues.

In Act 1 and 2 we saw the first group in Jerusalem being “baptized with…filled with the Holy Spirit.” Peter certified that these Gentiles in Acts 10 had received the identical experience — “They have received the Holy Spirit just as we have.” So Acts 2, the first New Testament day of Pentecost, was not a one-time occurrence. To the contrary, Peter asserts that these Gentiles had received the identical gift of the Holy Spirit.

Peter recounts this again in Acts 11:15-17“As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit came on them as he had come on us at the beginning. Then I remembered what the Lord had said: ‘John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.’ So if God gave them the same gift as he gave us, who believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to think that I could oppose God?” The Gentiles in Acts 10 received the “same gift,” the same baptism with the Holy Spirit, that the 120 had received in Jerusalem in Acts. And in both instances they manifested the identical evidence — they immediately spoke in tongues.

Peter also now made a clear distinction between water baptism and their having received the Holy Spirit.

Acts 19:1-6 While Apollos was at Corinth, Paul took the road through the interior and arrived at Ephesus. There he found some disciples and asked them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” They answered, “No, we have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.” So Paul asked, “Then what baptism did you receive?” “John’s baptism,” they replied. Paul said, “John’s baptism was a baptism of repentance. He told the people to believe in the one coming after him, that is, in Jesus.” On hearing this, they were baptized into the

name of the Lord Jesus. When Paul placed his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied.

So there is a consistent bible pattern — believers who are baptized with/

filled with the Holy Spirit will immediately speak in tongues.

These three clear illlustrations certify that speaking in tongues is the Scriptural evidence of the baptism with the Holy Spirit.

Acts 2:4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.
KJV: …as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Why speak in tongues? — It gives us an ever-present opportunity to submit to the leading, the direction, the enablement of the Holy Spirit.

This humble, willing submission of our vocal organs to the Holy Spirit’s leading will stand us in good stead as we open ourselves to other facets of the Holy Spirit’s direction and guidance.

The baptism with the Holy Spirit opens the door to other

spiritual gifts from the Holy Spirithere, “they…prophesied.”

Acts 19:2a, 6 [Paul] asked them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” … [6] When Paul placed his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied.

Jesus Himself was conceived by the Holy Spirit (Matthew 1:20). But at about age 30 at River Jordan, Jesus was anointed and empowered by the Holy Spirit (John 1:32-33 with Acts 10:38). Only after this distinct experience of the Spirit did Jesus do his first miracle at the wedding feast of Cana (John 2:11).

It is the Holy Spirit anointing, which comes in the baptism with the Spirit, that tends to release in the recipients a greater flow in the gifts of the Spirit.

1 Corinthians 12:7, 10 Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good… [10] to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues.

The companion gifts of the Spirit — tongues and interpretation of tongues — are manifested

in church services “for the [church’s] common good.”

1 Corinthians 14:2 For anyone who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God. Indeed, no one understands him; he utters mysteries with his spirit.

There is an ability to speak in tongues (glossolalia) that is given to all who receive the baptism with the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 14:2 gives us an additional reason why Spirit-baptized believers should speak in tongues — “Anyone who speaks in a tongue … speak[s] … to God.”

Acts 19:2a, 6 [Paul] asked them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” … [6] When Paul placed his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied.

Historically, speaking in a tongue (glossolalia) by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit was common among Christians in the first-century Church. . Subsequent movements in which speaking in tongues was a prominent feature included the Latter Rain revival, the mid-20th-century healing ministries, the Full Gospel Businessmen’s Fellowship, and the Charismatic Renewal. By the early 21st century, speaking in tongues (the theological term is glossolalia) — that is, languages unknown to the speaker, given by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit — had become broadly accepted within worldwide Christianity;

God who is love demonstrated it to the world in Christ Jesus but is expereinced by the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Now as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.
Jesus abided in the love of God, the holy spirit, so should we all (John 14:21 KJV) He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.24 He that loveth me not keepeth “not” my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which “sent me”.John 14:23-24 King James Version (KJV)

He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.John 12:48

Too many persons now re are listening to the devil over me, Jesus the Holy Spirit and God, and the very sad thing was I used to be just like that , even for decades an evangelical Baptist trying to do the things even my way, until I finally surrendered to Jesus and said to Him “Lord what is it you want from, me”? and he said Jesus now said “want you to go to a Pentecostal church and there get Baptized in the spirit” and my life was very very dramatically changed from that time on, I have even learned how to hear the voices of God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, prayed for the sick in hospitals and the got cured, and God by his choice next appointed me, made me his Minister, his pastor for the last 3 decades now too.. I have asked many a pastor to repent too, now I have, have had a dramatic ministry, effect on many. Compared to the nothing I had before all this. The Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son of God. He is firstly present in the world to make all people aware of their need for personal salvation Jesus Christ. He next also lives in every Christian from the moment of their actual salvation but they can grieve him still and reduce his effectiveness, . He the holy Spirit provides all of the Holy spirit filed Christiana who have now accept Jesus as Lord with power for living, understanding of spiritual truths, and guidance in doing what is right etc.. He the Holy Sprit still continues gives every believer a spiritual gift to benefit the body of Christ. He still does wants to empower ALL believers with a spiritual prayer language to give them strength for their daily Christian walk AND TO HELP THEM IN THEIR SPIRITUAL WARFARE BATTLE,S . As Christians, we EACH ONE OF US STILL DO HAVE to live under His control daily and empowerments

OFTEN DO  NOTICE THAT MANY PEOPLE DISTORT THE BIBLE TO TRY TO MAKE THEMSLEVES FIRSTLY FEEL BEETTER

ARE YOU A DISTORTER OF GOD’S WORD   AND YOU DO THAT CAUSE YOU NOW ARE A VERY UNHAPPY, TROUBLED PERSON WITH A GOD SHAPPED VACUMM STILL. .

.(1 John 1:9 KJV) If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10   If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

Many persons cannot hear God speaking to them cause they are on the wrong channel, they are listening mostly to the devil still so they will go next to Hell with him too. Now today rather Learn how to let God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit speak to you all the time in life

Acts 16:31  And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. It is interesting as to how many persons falsely as well do now want to believe on the Lord Jesus as their saviour soley, but ignorantly or deliberately they do not want to accept him as their Christ, the Aointed one, the  Baptizer of the Holy Spirit..Now  to be saved now you have to accept both firstly.

Here are some more great Biblical truths.. and unlike the to many false preachers, hirelings we have these days all of the material below is free, and no donations asked for too..

Why was Jesus now also so angry with the Pharisees

.

JC2

Of all the words of Jesus recorded in the Bible, about twenty-five percent of his teaching was devoted to prophecy concerning the destruction of Jerusalem, the scattering of the Jewish people worldwide, and the end of the world. Instead of listening to the lies of mere men and demons do read Jesus’ words in their entirety, in the Bible itself firstly. Not one Bible Prophecies Endorses Israel’s present Behavior, land conquests. The nation of Israel was blessed when it obeyed God’s instructions, and it was next cursed when it disobeyed. The context of Jesus’ Olivet Discourse was about the pending desolation of Jerusalem and the Jews, and NOT about even the Gentile end times.   https://witnessed.wordpress.com/2015/03/30/desolate/

Proverbs 27:5 Open rebuke is better than secret love.

.

Proverbs 28:23 He that rebuketh a man afterwards shall find more favour than he that flattereth with the tongue.

.

In reality firstly Jesus had said He was God alone, Mark 14:60-65 The Pharisees were a group of religious hypocrites that were definitely not only misguided, lost, but still were was very serious about demanding others to keep God’s law, keeping the no longer applicable law of Moses over the laws of Jesus Christ. They were trying to make others slaves, even to their own false demands When Jesus cleared the temple of the moneychangers and animal-sellers, He showed great emotion and anger (Matthew 21:12-13; Mark 11:15-18; John 2:13-22). Jesus’ emotion was described as “zeal” for God’s house (John 2:17). His anger was pure and completely justified because at its root was concern for God’s holiness and worship. Galatians 2:14 But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, “He looked around at them in anger, deeply distressed at their stubborn hearts” (Mark 3:5). In reality, these bad religious leaders were, are destroying, killing others even and keeping many people from their personal salvation. “The Pharisee was standing, praying these things to himself: God, I thank You that I am not as the rest of men, rapacious, unrighteous, adulterers, or even as this tax collector. I fast twice on the sabbath; I tithe all things, as many as I get” (Luke 18:11-12). “For I testify to them that they have a zeal to God, but not according to knowledge. For being ignorant of the righteousness of God, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they did not submit to the righteousness of God.” Romans 10:2-3 “Watch and take heed from the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducee’s.” Matthew 16:6 “I say to you, This one went down to his house having been justified, rather than that one. For every one exalting himself will be humbled. And the one humbling himself will be exalted” (Luke 18:14) This is the personal prayer the Pharisees would not pray and mean it as well. “Heavenly Father, I want to know You as the sole, true and living God. I ask you by the finished work of Jesus Christ to forgive me and cleanse me from all, everything I’ve done wrong. Now please do Change my heart, and give me a Holy Sprit empowered, filled new life. Fill me with the power of Your Holy Spirit. I now forever turn from all of the false gods and submit my life to your Son Jesus Christ as my only Savior and Lord.Thank You, Lord Jesus, for paying the penalty for my sins and giving me a relationship of friendship with God as my Heavenly Father The Pharisees were blind spiritually , and in fact blind guides as He Jesus was what called them. The still ignornant, self centered already dead persons, the Pharisee who always tried to be the center of attention, loved being praised by others, they the Pharisees believed they were now, smart, enlightended totally righteous, because of their own established doctrines, were fully qualified, empowered to dominate, teach others, they still saw no need for any changes in their lives now, for any or all changes needed to be done in other people’s lives and thus also falsely believed that could not next even any lose their own salvation based on their own false established, superior beliefs. Their gospel was a much too simplified one as well being “Lord, I already do believe in you and therefor you next do owe me my salvation.” Yes even today the Modern day Pharisees tend to be the self-righteous holier-than-thous persons, they often do exist now just like they did then at the time of Jesus. There is no real love of God or for God, or love for any others with them, there is just their false continual hatred of all other’s personal beliefs and their own visible large self pride. The Pharisees falsely still worked hard at it praising themselves, yet they themselves would not enter into the kingdom of heaven nor would they allow others to go in there as well.. They are also the control freaks, the persons who try to dominate all others, and often they used Jesus’s Father’s word in vain and id, do spread evil instead of good. They the Pharisees to make themselves look good and fell good continually put down demands on others, hindered placed heavy burdens by the law beyond reason so they could feel (feel and seem better than others) Jesus was so angry with the Pharisees these clear offspring of vipers? Matthew 3:7-10, clearly demon led persons, Jesus and our anger anger at them was, is expressing Holy Righteous Rage against their idolatry, greed, self aggrandizement , hypocrisy, deceit, refusal to change, self righteousness , Pharisees “The one saying not to commit adultery, do you commit adultery? The one detesting idols, do you rob temples? You who boast in Law, do you dishonor God through transgression of the Law?” (Romans 2:22-23)  We all do need to get angry at the traditional heresy, lies, falsehoods and to get them out of our brains, as well as being angry with the the people spreading them too frequently !!! John 9 41Jesus said, “If you were blind, you would not be guilty of sin; but now that you claim you can see, your guilt remains. Isa 56:11 Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter. Mat 23:16 Woe unto you, ye blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor! Tit 1:11 Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre’s sake. But even the Messianic Jewish Yeshua is not the Christian Jesus, but another false Jesus still

.

Jesus, in the Synoptic Gospels, went to a fig tree looking for food to eat (Matthew 21:18-22; Mark 11:12-14, 20-21). When he saw that there were no figs on the tree he cursed it. There is a very reasonable explanation why Jesus cursed the fig tree .  Jesus  cursing of the fig tree is a played or acted out parable, one which warned the nation of Israel of it’s impending  final judgment. ‘The time of the fig is not yet,’ says Mark, for it was just before Passover, about six weeks before the fully-formed fig appears. The fact that Mark adds these words shows that he knew what he was talking about. When the fig leaves appear about the end of March, they are accompanied by a crop of small knobs, called taqsh by the Arabs, a sort of fore-runner of the real figs. These taqsh are eaten by peasants and others when hungry. They drop off before the real fig is formed. But if the leaves appear unaccompanied by taqsh, there will be no figs that year. So it was evident to our Lord, when He turned aside to see if there were any of these taqsh on the fig-tree to assuage His hunger for the time being, that the absence of the taqsh meant that there would be no figs when the time of figs came. For all its fair foliage, it was a fruitless and a hopeless tree.”

The Sin Of Worshiping The Land Of Israel Instead is Idolatry,  as idolizing and worshiping of Jerusalem, Israel and the Jews is evil in the sight of God.  Especially since Israel today is a shameful nation that has abandoned the sole God of the Bible, Jesus Christ. It  is demonism  that are  inspiring people to idolize Israel and the Jews. You are now  also God, Bible IGNORANT if you do still think that God blesses any Christians who support a wicked, Christ-rejecting people, Nation of Israel. The land of Israel itself and the nation still  has nothing to do with our salvation from death and sin.!  Jesus alone now died, was buried and rose up three days later for our justification. Defending Israel is NOT even a man’s job. Defending Israel is NOT a function of the New Testament Church. In fact, this may come as a shock to you, but the Bible says that Jerusalem and the Jews will be attacked and defeated, continually  as we often hear about it too, until the Lord returns to earth, thus ending “the times of the Gentiles.” Luke 21:24, “And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.” Israel today is not the fulfillment of any New Testament Biblical prophecy. as well.Only a total jackass, fool would believe otherwise.. Don’t be fooled  as God is not concerned with restoring Israel to the Holy Land anymore . Jesus told the Jewish rabbis of His time that the kingdom of God had been taken away from them forever. Zionism  itself now still has no need, purpose, nor concern for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Salvation is of the Lord. Salvation came through the Jews, not by the Jews. A Jew must be born-again or he or she cannot go to Heaven. Nicodemus was a Jewish leader, a Pharisee. Jesus warned Nicodemus that he needed to be born again or else he couldn’t enter into the kingdom of God (John 3:5-7). Hebrews 13:5 promises that God never forsakes His own. If you are unsaved,  do refuse to accept Jesus Christ as th Lord of your life, it is you alone that have already forsaken God and rather  now next Hell, the Lake of Fire will be your eternal home.
https://jesussayscome.wordpress.com/2015/02/15/hell-is-real/

.

Zionism is based on a total misunderstanding of what the Bible teaches. It is true that God gave Palestine to Hebrews in ancient times. But the Bible teaches that their possession of the land was under a conditional covenant with Jehovah. If the Hebrews disobeyed their God, they would lose the land. This is clearly taught in Genesis 17:9-14, Exodus 19:4-5, Leviticus 26:40-45, Deuteronomy 7:12, Joshua 23:15-16, 1 Kings 9:6-9, 2 Chronicles 7:19-22, Jeremiah 34:12-22, Ezekiel 33:23-29, Matthew 21:43, etc. When the Jews rejected their Messiah, God sent the Romans to dispossess the Jews from their land in 70 AD. This was God’s complete punishment on the Jews for crucifying Christ – therefore, the Jews today should not be persecuted for something that happened 2000 years ago. However, their former title deed on the land of Palestine is not abrogated. The New Testament teaches that Christians are to focus on the heavenly Jerusalem, not the earthly one, John 4:21, Galatians 4:24-28, Hebrews 12:18-24. We are told in Hebrews 11:13-16 that even Abraham has no further interest in a restored Jewish state on earth, because he is in a much better place in heaven. Do they thank God for restoring their nation after 1,878 years of exile? (the year 1948 A.D. minus 1,978 = A.D. 70, the year Rome destroyed Jerusalem). The Jews were forced into exile. The notion that unsaved, Christ-rejecting, Jews have been restored to their homeland is totally false and unbiblical.

MK 16:16 “He who believes and is baptized (with the Spirit) will be saved; but he who does not….

View Post on Facebook

(Zec 4:6 KJV) Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.

Isa 30:21 And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left. 22 Ye shall defile also the covering of thy graven images of silver, and the ornament of thy molten images of gold: thou shalt cast them away as a menstruous cloth; thou shalt say unto it, Get thee hence. 23 Then shall he give the rain of thy seed, that thou shalt sow the ground withal; and bread of the increase of the earth, and it shall be fat and plenteous: in that day shall thy cattle feed in large pastures.

(John 14:23 KJV) Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

Complete and total reliance on the Holy Spirit, the spirit of Christ, and leading, the gifts of the holy spirit is what generally seperates the Pentecostal Christians from the rest of Christendom

(Rom 8:9 KJV) But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

(1 Cor 2:16 KJV) For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

John 16:8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: 9 Of sin, because they believe not on me; 10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; 11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. 12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. 13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall show it unto you. 15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall show it unto you.

John 15:1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. 2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. 3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. 4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. 5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. 6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. 7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. 8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

The Pentecostal movement within Protestant Christianity places continual emphasis on the individual, personal need of the Baptism, and the gifts of the Holy Spirit, as shown in the New Testament Biblical account initially on the Day of Pentecost. Pentecostal Christians do differ significantly from other Christian groups, denominations because they do define specifically a real Christian is a person who has been baptized with the Holy spirit as evidenced by their speaking, praying in tongues, glossolalia,, interpretation of tongues, which is prophecy, and the persons who thus now also has access to the miraculous, spiritual gifts of the Holy spirit as a result too. There is no denying the fact that Pentecostal Christians believe glossolalia is a spiritual gift from God, proof of the “infilling” of the Holy Spirit. Some denominations do not even allow people to preach or become members until they demonstrate the ability to speak in tongues. It’s proof that they have been both “saved” and “sanctified.” Pentecostals in generally rejected the belief of many fundamentalists that God had ceased to reveal himself directly to man. Pentecostal do belive that God speaks personally, individually to true Believers of Jesus Christ, outside of the Bible now as well. The charismatic movement in Roman Catholic and in the mainstream Protestant denominations represents the same spirit. Speaking in tongues is not universal among Pentecostal Christians still because many there too have still not received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, they are merely Pentecostal church adherents, observers. The origins of Pentecostals originates from the early Christian days, as indicated in the Book of acts, new testament and they have continued historically as well, including during the 19th-century Holiness movement and also the 1906 revival meetings at the Azusa Street Mission in Los Angeles, California.. https://postedat.wordpress.com/2008/09/09/the-pentecostal-movement/

The gift of discernment is a God given spiritual gift that the  Holy Spirit hasprovided a way for us to sort truth from error, a  GIFT that many charismatic Christians like Pentecostals now have been given Solely through their second baptism that allows them to know what the God thinks about the subject in question in reality, it is having the mind of Christ on the subject for discernment and it is one of these nine supernatural gifts (see 1 Cor. 12:8-10) Discernment is a sign of spiritual maturity. In our culture today up is down and right is wrong. God’s true people must be equipped with the supernatural power to tell the difference between the true and the false. If you are realy Holy Spirit filled then you know you have this gift..

1 Cor 2:16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
1 Cor 3:1 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.
1 Cor 3:2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.
1 Cor 3:3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?
1 Cor 3:4 For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?

Have any of you ever noticed that a good majority of false Christian PERSONS seem to profess to have the gift of discernment.. EVEN IF THEY MOSTLY DO NOT KNOW OR FOLLOW AFTER GOD STILL.. their false pride tends not to let them admit how dumb they realy are otherwise they may have to do something good about it.

MOST PERSONS IN REALITY STILL DO NOT HAVE SPIRITUAL DISCERNMENT, AS OPPOSED TO USING MERELY THEIR OWN REASONING, MINDS, AND IT IS BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT HOLY SPRIT BAPTIZED, IN REALITY THEY STILL ARE NOT HOLY SPIRIT FILL STILL EVEN CAUSE THEY BASICALLY ARE NOT FOLLOWING AFTER GOD, OR HIS WAYS, THEY ARE STILL ARE DISOBEDIENT TO GOD MOSTLY AND HAVE NOT EVEN DIED TO SELF

1 Cor 2:15 (KJV) But he that is spiritual judgeth all things…

Luke 12:57 (NIV) “Why don’t you judge for yourselves what is right?”

Understand that there is a difference between discernment for the judgment that God encourages, and criticism for inappropriate judgments

Consider the negative reality of most person’s  lack of discernment: Firstly too much attention or not enough is given to world,  the flesh, the devil; even Christian sect seems to focus too much  on one and ignore the others. Diseases are falsely always assumed to be demons and “rebuked” without discernment or effect. Or Demons are often falsely assumed to be sickness, and irrelevant “treatment” is attempted. Also God’s discipline is attributed to Satan, and made light of. Or Satan’s oppression is accepted falsely as being from God. The obvious promptings of the carnal flesh are falsely assumed to be the spirit, or even of the soul. The sinful  soul’s leading  is confused with the spirit.  With such faulty diagnosis, discernment, many attempt “ministry”, to no effect, and often to great harm. Is this what we realy are like?

John 7:24 (NIV) “Stop judging by mere appearances, and make a right judgment.”

Prov 19:2 (NIV) It is not good to have zeal without knowledge, nor to be hasty and miss the way.

1 Cor 4:5 (Phi) “The moral of this is that we should make no hasty or premature judgments.”

(James 1:5 KJV)  If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

(James 1:6 KJV)  But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. 7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. 8  A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

It is also a fact that if you want more revelations from God you have to act upon, obey, fulfill the revelation you already have. Discernment is damaged when anyone compromises to sin. But discernment is still one of the most important gift needed today. For every genuine gift of the Spirit, there is a counterfeit. Discernment will determine what is genuinely of the Spirit and what is deception of the devil.

Luke 12:47 And that servant, which knew his lord’s will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. 48   For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.

(1 Sam 3:19 KJV) And Samuel grew, and the LORD was with him, and did let none of his words fall to the ground.
(Psa 37:31 KJV) The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide.
(Rom 8:9 KJV) But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

Ezek 22:25 There is a conspiracy of her prophets in the midst thereof, like a roaring lion ravening the prey; they have devoured souls; they have taken the treasure and precious things; they have made her many widows in the midst thereof. 26 Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they showed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them. :27 Her princes in the midst thereof are like wolves ravening the prey, to shed blood, and to destroy souls, to get dishonest gain. 28 And her prophets have daubed them with untempered mortar, seeing vanity, and divining lies unto them, saying, Thus saith the Lord GOD, when the LORD hath not spoken. 29 The people of the land have used oppression, and exercised robbery, and have vexed the poor and needy: yea, they have oppressed the stranger wrongfully. 30 And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none. 31 Therefore have I poured out mine indignation upon them; I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath: their own way have I recompensed upon their heads, saith the Lord GOD.

Now when I have often met a new Church pastor, or a church elder, I may have even heard of him beforehand from others, but I basically did not know who he was or what he was realy like. Subsequently I often saw a clear visions, as clear as watching news on the TV, where God would now show me what sins they were still indulging in.. even sins like adultery. Now that is the gift of spiritual discernment. 1 Cor 2:15 (KJV) But he that is spiritual judgeth all things…

the lack of spiritual discernment have lead to a tragic drifting of the  traditional, Biblical, Pentecostal ship. And a ship that drifts will find itself going nowhere  good..

.. did you get that gift yet?

Luke 11:9 (NIV) “So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”

Mat 16:3 (KJV) “…’It will be foul weather today: for the sky is red and lowering.’ O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?”

Isa 11:2-3 (NIV) The Spirit of the Lord will rest upon him–the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of power, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord–and he will delight in the fear of the Lord. He will not judge by what he sees with his eyes, or decide by what he hears with his ears.

John 8:15-16,26 (NIV) “You judge by human standards; I pass judgment on no one. But if I do judge, my decisions are right, because I am not alone. I stand with the Father who sent me… I have much to say in judgment of you. But he who sent me is reliable, and what I have heard from him I tell the world.”

what about you?

NO  ONE HAD WARNED ME BASICALLY IN REAL LIFE  THAT I WOULD HAVE TO NEXT TOO OFTEN LEARN HOW TO RECOGNIZE THE SHEEP FROM THE WOLVES,   EVEN IN THE MUCH TOO MANY BAD CHURCHES NOW AS WELL.

TO ME ONCE THE LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD WAS JUST ANOTHER CHILDISH BED TIME STORY AND NOT REAL LIFE. NOR DID I ENVISAGE IN REAL LIFE THAT THERE ARE SO MANY LYING PINOCCHIOS NOT JUST WOLVES ABOUNDING EVEN IN THE CHRISTIAN  CHURCHES.

liars.abusers
THE CHURCH THESE DAYS NOW TOO OFTEN HAS BECOME  MONEY GATHERING SOCIAL CLUBS MADE OF UP OF MOSTLY  RICH, OR PAID UP MEMBERS, ALL TRYING TO IMPRESS THE OTHERS, ALL MOSTLY TRYING TO LOOK GOOD BEFORE THE OTHERS.  NOT RATHER BEING A LEGITIMATE INSTITUTION  RIGHTFULLY HELPING THE SINNERS TO GET STRAIGHTENED AND ALSO HELPING ALL OF  THE POOR AND NEEDY PERSON THERE TOO.

I WAS IN A LOCAL EVANGELICAL PENTECOSTAL CHURCH WHERE THE PASTOR HAD ASKED ONE OF THE PROMINENT CHURCH PERSONS TO SHARE HOW GOD WAS HELPING HIM TO MEET HIS GOALS  NOW IN LIFE..

I here was expecting spiritual, godly goals now.. but instead the divorced person now  shared that his main goals was finding a second wife and getting remarried, getting a good paying job, next buying a nice home and a nice car too.. Clearly I seem to have missed those supporting goals, related  Bible verses in the new testament for all of this in my Sunday School upbringing.. because they are not at all mention, or confirmed  there as being godly goals,, rather they are the too common secular goals many of us have.. and yes there is no promises of God that he would endeavor, next help us to meet this self centered goals. Do correct me if I am here wrong!!!

(Luke 8:14 KJV)  And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.

(1 Cor 7:29 KJV)  But this I say, brethren, the time is short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none; 30   And they that weep, as though they wept not; and they that rejoice, as though they rejoiced not; and they that buy, as though they possessed not; 31   And they that use this world, as not abusing it: for the fashion of this world passeth away.

(1 Cor 15:36 KJV)  Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:

(Mat 19:23 KJV)  Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. :24   And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

(James 1:11 KJV)  For the sun is no sooner risen with a burning heat, but it withereth the grass, and the flower thereof falleth, and the grace of the fashion of it perisheth: so also shall the rich man fade away in his ways.

(Luke 12:20 KJV)  But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? 12:21  So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.

(Mat 6:33 KJV)  But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 34    Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.  (Gal 2:10 KJV)  Only they would that we should remember the poor; the same which I also was forward to do.

(Eph 5:17 KJV)  Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. 18   And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;

What if I told you that most professing Christians still cannot hear God’s voice and they  often livingly still do claim that God speaks to them , leads them,  how unbelievable now is that too? So what is the reason for this now too? http://pbulow.tripod.com/voice.html

(Deu 12:8 KJV)  Ye shall not do after all the things that we do here this day, every man whatsoever is right in his own eyes.

(Judg 17:6 KJV)  In those days there was no king in Israel, but every man did that which was right in his own eyes.

(1 Ki 15:5 KJV)  Because David did that which was right in the eyes of the LORD, and turned not aside from any thing that he commanded him all the days of his life, save only in the matter of Uriah the Hittite.

(1 Ki 15:11 KJV)  And Asa did that which was right in the eyes of the LORD, as did David his father.

(2 Ki 22:2 KJV)  And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, and walked in all the way of David his father, and turned not aside to the right hand or to the left.

(2 Chr 14:2 KJV)  And Asa did that which was good and right in the eyes of the LORD his God:

(2 Chr 20:32 KJV)  And he walked in the way of Asa his father, and departed not from it, doing that which was right in the sight of the LORD.

(Prov 12:15 KJV)  The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise.

(Prov 21:2 KJV)  Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts.

(Acts 4:19 KJV)  But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye.

ONE OF  THE SADDEST, MOST TRAGIC THINGS ABOUT CHRISTIANS  AND THE CHRISTIAN CHURCHES TODAY IS HOW THEY MOSTLY ALL  HAVE BEEN SO EVIDENTIALLY SECULARIZED.

And this is evident by the too often unbiblical church approach, including the secular church organization, management   structure,  and the secularized  theology now as well even where man has falsely become  the centre of the Bible and the universe still and not God himself, The Holy Ghost has been replaced by the pastors and  their interpretation of of  Bible too.  But even the Bible itself now is not the Word of God.

It is understandable that so many people read the Bible and they still cannot understand it cause rather according to the Bible itself, the Bible itself  is  not the Word Of God   for  the Voice of the Lord. the Word of God, the Holy Spirit  himself is living and active, he penetrates even to the dividing of soul and spirit.., he judges the thoughts and intents of the heart. Heb 4:12

My sheep hear My voice,   and I know them,  and they follow Me.  John 10:27 and only The Holy Spirit will teach you all things. John 14:26.

IN FACT the many Bible scriptures themselves  that refer to the Word of God  are not at all referring to the Bible itself now too , but rather they refer to   voice of God or the voice the Lord , the voice of the living spirit of Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit himself. So you can READ OR memorize the entire Bible, quoting chapter and verse, AS MANY HAVE, and it will not  only gain you nothing with God but it very likely also means you will not even know God sadly TOO.  There is a huge pitfall in Christianity thinking  that sates that the Bible alone  is the Word of God, and thinking all the commands in the Bible referencing the Word of God, refer to the Bible; when the references really mean going to God directly and listening to the Word of God speaking to you.  So If you don’t listen to the true Voice of God, you will never grow; you will never know what it really is to repent; you will never receive his changing, purifying grace; you will not find God; and you ALSO STILL will not have any reward in the Kingdom of God or Christ.

Like many in the early church, even if you can’t read, you can be changed and purified to enter the Kingdom of Heaven as a son of God forever – by listening to God’s voice and obeying it. God’s spirit, who desires to speak and teach you outside of the Bible.  He desires to teach you individual, personal things about yourself, and how he wants you to live, how he wants you to improve, what he wants you to deny – as well as encourage you, tell you of his love for you, and open up the scriptures to you, including the mysteries. If you limit yourself to reading the Bible, you will only get crumbs beneath the table.

Worshipping the Bible alone is an act of idoltary.
