1 Peter 4 –¹⁷ For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

Some things still shock me, disgust me. Yes there are all sorts of unacceptable personal abuses, slanders, violent persecutions taking place today. In and even out of the Christian Church.

The followers of Jesus as still “indisputably” the most persecuted religious body on the planet. Sadly some of this persecutions is coming from within the Church today as well, as 70 Percent or higher of Churchgoers in North America are not Christians. They tend to still do, act as the secular non Christians in reality.

The modern Christianity espouses the name of Christ but adheres to few of His teachings. Christianity centers on the matter of who will be God. It is a battle over “whether man will be god or whether God will be God.”

Sadly most of those who remain a part of today’s organized Christianity end up just “playing church”—claiming to be Christian while living like a non-believer. “Our churches are not ‘the pillar and ground of the truth’ (I Timothy 3:15, KJV); they are centers of social interaction, recreation, and feel-good indoctrination. Preachers are not reprovers, rebukers, and exhorters (II Timothy 4:2); they are ear-ticklers, entertainers, and expositors of irrelevance…. The result: ineffective, impotent, weak, unprepared, and sheepish Christians.” Much of today’s mainstream church are “the opiate of entertainment and feel-good-ism,” led by “hirelings in the pulpit [that] lust after ease and social acceptance”; and they willfully and blindly “bask in their ignorance. “If Satan rules in our halls of legislation, the pulpit is responsible for it. If our politics become so corrupt that the very foundations of our government are ready to fall away, the pulpit is responsible for it.” 90 percent of pastors agree that the Bible speaks about all of today’s key political issues; and helping the poor and needy, but only 10 percent of them are willing to address these issues to their congregations. The pastors are more concerned about being ‘successful’ than they are about being truthful.

In the churches there’s the glaring problem of premarital sex, abortion. Divorce, getting rich even, sensuality among even the self-professed Christians. “For with their mouth they show much love”—again, they say all the right things, they sound like Christians—“but their heart goes after their covetousness” (Ezek. 33:30-31). Many of them are currently “in an adulterous, sexual relationship,” with only 12 percent claiming to have never had sex before marriage. Too many Christians are tired of dealing with a guilty conscience, so they drop their full Christian commitment. Most of the lifestyle activities of born-again Christians were statistically equivalent to those of non-Christians.

Most people are like dumb sheep being told what to do. They are Bible ignorant, know almost nothing personally about what Jesus and the Apostles have said still too. The faith is an ongoing battle,.. against wicked persons, demons, sicknesses, false accusers, pits, etc., and God can help us to overcome all of it, and he does for me.

Some of the problems we all seem to face are due to our own stupidity.. such as cancer caused by our eating processed meats, burnt food, alcohol consumption, smoking or diabetes caused by our by skipping meals, sugar excess, even our high cholesterol caused by eating fatty foods, and our lack of exercise, our being ignorant of what food is bad or good for us, plus over indulgence, Sadly many persons are too lazy. Too cheap, or fearful to go see a doctor when they need too as well.

Yes also the hardships we encounter are caused by the much too many sinful other persons, the devil and his followers.

Christians still are too often also Persecuted by Liberals, Democrats, Muslims, Jews, Hindus, as 80 percent of religious freedom violations worldwide are targeting Christians. Any Western, liberal democracy where Christianity is the major religion hat is where Islamic terrorism represents a significant threat. .Australia and Britain are also facing problems with Islamic fundamentalism. I have seen often the shocking surprise on many people’s faces here on earth when they had refused to repent and they are now even facing an earthly judgement from God..

and they mow knew that they were lied to when they were told there is no personal accountability here on earth.. . they knew they were reaping the bad things they had sowed now.. for not all accountability is in heaven

One of the soberest warnings in the New Testament concerns the manner in which we approach and participate in the Lord’s Supper. Following the apostle’s repetition of Jesus’ command to regularly “do this in remembrance of Me” (1 Corinthians 11:23-26), he exhorts:

27 Therefore whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner, shall be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord. 28 But a man must examine himself, and in so doing he is to eat of the bread and drink of the cup. 29 For he who eats and drinks, eats and drinks judgment to himself if he does not judge the body rightly. 30 For this reason many among you are weak and sick, and a number sleep. 31 But if we judged ourselves rightly, we would not be judged. 32 But when we are judged, we are disciplined by the Lord so that we will not be condemned along with the world.

This warning to take God’s judgment seriously was prompted also by the reality of the Corinthian’s self-exaltation, which was manifested by sinful living, pride, divisions, self-satisfaction, and contempt for others and sexual sins too. In fact, things were so bad that God’s judgment had already begun, and some were experiencing illness and even death. Therefore, in response to the warning of God’s judgment upon those who eat of the bread and drink the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner, and it all applies today as well

Many of you are deceived because you just love to be deceived, you trust in man more than you trust in GOD, and you love the praises of men more than you love the praise of GOD! Many of you are deceived because you have chosen to become servants of mere men instead of becoming the real sons and daughters of GOD!
