  Libel, slander, verbal abuse of others on the net can still get one in plenty of trouble in the courts as well… Even telling the truth has to be balanced with Compassionate (Gal 6:1 KJV)  Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.

 

 Cyber Bullies like to tell the lie that slander, libel, bullying is an acceptable free right of expression of the internet  cause they are liars like the devil their father.. it never is..

  
“Canadian model wins right to unmask online bully in the U.S. Updated Wed. Aug. 19 2009 1:10 PM ET CTV.ca   Canadian model Liskula Cohen is used to the sometimes catty attitudes of the New York fashion world, but when one woman decided to dig her claws into her in an online blog, Cohen fought back.  In August 2008, Cohen ran across a blog on Blogger.com, called “Skanks in NYC.” The now defunct blog included five anonymous postings that read “I would have to say the first-place award for ‘Skankiest in NYC’ would have to go to Liskula Gentile Cohen.”  The posts included pictures of 5-foot-10 blond Cohen and an unidentified man in sexually suggestive positions, with captions describing her as a “skanky ho'” and “a psychotic, lying, whoring skank.”  Cohen, 37, a Canadian-born cover girl who has appeared in Vogue and other fashion magazines, was livid and demanded that Google, the owner of the blogging service, give her the poster’s identity. When Google refused, Cohen took it to court — and won.   On Tuesday, New York Supreme Court Judge Joan Madden agreed that Cohen was entitled to information about the blogger and ordered Google to turn it over.  In her ruling, Madden cited a Virginia court decision in a similar case that found that online bullies should be held accountable when they cause injury.  “The protection of the right to communicate anonymously must be balanced against the need to assure that those persons who choose to abuse the opportunities presented by this medium can be made to answer for such transgressions,” the judge said, quoting the Virginia decision.  Google complied with the ruling Tuesday evening, submitting the creator’s IP address and e-mail address — all that is required to register for a blog on Blogger.com.  Cohen told ABC’s “Good Morning America” Wednesday that she immediately recognized the blogger, describing her as an acquaintance who was a regular fixture at dinners and parties. Cohen has not revealed the blogger’s name publicly.  Cohen and her lawyer, Steven Wagner, said they are now planning a defamation suit against the blogger. Cohen alleges the blog has been harmful to her career and that prospective clients would question her about the blog and what she was doing in the photos.  While Wagner said he was happy the court recognized that “the Internet is not a place where people can freely defame people,” the attorney for the blogger disputed the judge’s reasoning.  Anne Salisbury  warned that Monday’s ruling has “potentially damaging implications for free speech on the Internet.”   After the ruling, a Google spokesman expressed sympathy for “cyber bullying” victims but said the company only divulged the user information because it was ordered to do so by a court.  “We sympathize with anyone who may be the victim of cyber bullying.   There is still a separation between appropriate speech and inappropriate speech, a separation between freedom of speech, expressing one’s views, opinions and the delivered, deliberate conscious propagation of hatred towards a specific group or person.

 

OTTAWA — A ruling from a Canadian Human Rights Tribunal member says a controversial law banning Internet hate messages is unconstitutional because it violates free speech protections. Athanasios Hadjis ruled Wednesday that section 13 of the Canadian Human Rights Act violates Charter protections. While this decision doesn’t throw out the law – that’s something for the courts – it did let accused hatemonger Marc Lemire off the hook, because Hadjis refused to penalize him or order him to stop posting his messages on the net. on his site.   Lemire was accused of posting anti-Semitic and anti-gay material on web sites in a complaint brought by Ottawa lawyer Richard Warman. Warman has become an Internet watchdog for such material and the main section 13 complainant before the tribunal. He had asked for a cease-and-desist order against Lemire and a $7,500 fine. Canadian Jewish Congress was quick to call for an appeal of the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal member   Hadjis ruling. “We strongly disagree with his decision not to impose a cease-and-desist order,” said Joel Richler, an honorary legal counsel to the congress.  The congress said other tribunal members have found the section to be constitutional and the courts should be asked to clarify the matter.

 

The Ruling from a Canadian Human Rights Tribunal member says a controversial law banning Internet hate messages is unconstitutional because it violates free speech protections. Refrence the human rights act section 13.1, which says it is a violation to disseminate material on the Internet that is “likely to expose a person or persons to hatred or contempt”  If the example is followed by other tribunal members, it could mean an end to section 13 cases.  In a special report issued in June, the commission asked Parliament to change the law to eliminate the fines and provide a clear, legal definition of what constitutes prohibited hatred. The section has been controversial, with some claiming it spreads too wide a net. The Supreme Court of Canada has said legal action should be reserved only for the most extreme forms of hate.   None of this in any way affects the hate-speech provisions of the Canadian Criminal Code which is completely different legislation, with higher standards of proof and evidence .  Hate accusations can be also  filed with the Canadian Human Rights Commission. If it finds them valid, they are then taken before the tribunal, which can order people to stop posting material on the web or impose fines of up to $10,000. 
 
Google will only remove defamatory material from Blogger when “the material has been found to be defamatory by a court, as evidenced by a court order,” according to Blogger’s terms of service.
 
and some  bloggers have been now denied any further access to  the net  to make any posts by the courts too..

It is still up to the courts or the Human Rights commissions  firstly to confirm, to define what is actually libelous, slanderous, a hate email message..  and someone’s else’s  statement and opinions  on the subject does not count. But to be on the safe side if you want to avoid court costs, ligation, if you are unsure if what you write is libel, slanderous, prosecutable better not post it on the net. Wrongfully accusing someone of posting a hate message or being a racists clearly can  be challenged in courts as a hate message itself and prosecutable.

 

Note all of this really is a non brainer for any cyber bully who falsely believe that free speech allows them to say whatever they want personally against some else, individual, individuals, or a group .

I was really saddened to note that too many of the abuses I have witnessed were done by bad , greedy people trying to steal , them trying to get other people’s money for themselves, stealing the money, or getting it under false pretenses. The love of more money is still the basis of what many of the wrong doings is, was all about..

Many years ago some one had said that most marriage problems, divorce are over the issue of money.. some are, but many marriages break down are due to uncontrolled lusts of the flesh, and unforgiveness as well.. But I would agree that many problems amongst so called Christians, including church fights are often over over money, the control over it, and many professing Christians depart from the faith over the false lust for more money and what money can buy for them.

“Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offenses contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.” -Romans 16:17-18 KJV

God does not at all  not not allow, accept any human rights, verbal and physical abuses and neither should we.. And  Exemplary public exposure of the Bullies, abusers, the bad, guilty persons serves everyone’s best interest next too. God undeniably himself does not show false partialities . Shout the abuses, sins truth from the housetops.. Any Children of God even who are verbally abused they will next be also physically abused if the matter is not adequately dealt with ASAP{.. Abusing others is a common reaction of the carnal flesh and is brought on by many different reasons such as 1: unfulfilled lusts or 2:  a spoiled child syndrome who tries to get their own way by whatever method it can 3: sibling rivalry 4: people who have no or little moral values, respect of others 5: one’s parental influence and upbringing..6: demon possessed persons, etc. The devil, demons and demon seduced persons, professing Christian persons falsely, wrongfully take false delight in slandering, abusing, bashing others and their evident fruits of hatred alone shows how false they themselves now are too. they clearly had, do manifest the opposite of the fruit of the Holy Spirit which is love. ,

Let me tell you we do not have to accept human rights abuse that is a lie of the devil.. in this world we have the same rights as the bully even the right to see that a bully is punished for abusing us.. God is not ignorant about the injustices inflicted upon his people, nor does he accept any of our human rights abuses without punishing the abusers shortly.. see the Bible book of Esther if you have doubts..

People who have been abused ironically will also next abuse others.. . Free speech has never been a right to bully, slander, degrade, abuse anyone anywhere for that matter basically anyway, not even a religious or a political group.
“Whoever slanders his neighbor in secret, him will I put to silence…him will I not endure” (Psa. 101:5). “You speak continually against your brother and slander your own mother’s son…But I will rebuke you and accuse you to your face!” (Psa. 50:20-21).”
The verbal and mental  abusers often known as control freaks, or bullies, and then there are the physical abusers. The sad reality is abusers rarely change unless they are made personally to face some severe negative consequences, and the older they are the more severe it seems it has to be..
First you merely ask the guilty, bad persons personally to repent twice, the first time without a witness, the second time with witnesses THAT you have asked them to repent.. and proof, substantiation is NOT required.. after you have done that you can next post it openly on the net, tell all the others. Next God is fully free to deal with the unrepentant guilty offenders and believe me he will.. I have now been doing for decades too..
A self conceited, loud mouthed preacher wanted to meet with me to discuss my faults, so next  I had said to him I would gladly consent to such as meeting if I in return can have the same right with him.. I was next surprised by his response, forget it..  All personal submission is now still non enforceable even by Church pastors, elders but it is also still mutual as well, reciprocal.
Why do even professing Christian  post lies, slander on the net now? What hidden agenda do they realy have? It could be that they want to be worshipped solely, to receive alone all the praise of others for a start.. they falsely want to be the sole center of attention.. even  sibling rivalry..  Sadly some  professing Christians are abusive, they do try to dominate, do disrespect others, and falsely try to censure others, do lie about and slander them as well. These abuses. sins, wrong doings are always still a personal choice that has nothing fully  to do with one’s  persons personal political or religious beliefs, experiences now too. Slandering, lying about, calling a specific person false names, personal attacks, in a church or even on any public forum is still unacceptable now even if you are a Christian, a Baptist or a Plymouth Brethren  now too.

As you can also read in some of my posts here too I also rightfully do not hesitate to call the police, fully expose  to all,  anyone, cops or church pastors included,  who lies about me, slanders me, abuses me or any others too.
