Why do so many Christians stray from what the Bible actually says

 Christian (27)
Why do so many Christians stray from what the Bible actually says? Basically it is cause they still do hold personal religious views that do really contradict what the Bible says in fact based on their own ignorance of the Bible and on them not reading the Bible for themselves instead they mostly rather are falsely listening mainly to what others do say what the Bible says.. sadly men do lead others astray often  since people too often  are putting their faith in a person instead of Christ.
.
So stay with Jesus and what the Word of God says.
.
Jesus himself had warned all Christians against listening to false prophets and urged us all to to read the Bible carefully and understand what will happen when the world finally comes to an end.
.
But how many people now do  listen and do what God tells them.. very few in reality  because many of them they still  do not even know God still firstly
,
Recently we heard on the news as to how supposedly sincere Christians had believed that the end of the world, the rapture would occur on May 21, 2011.. these false self centered prophetic date setters were again clearly wrong.. especially their cultist  leader.. but that is what happens when you do listen to a man over God. The California radio host says he was 5 months off, Judgment Day will occur in October 2011  “Camping, who predicted that 200 million Christians would be taken to heaven Saturday before the Earth was destroyed, said he felt so terrible when his doomsday prediction did not come true that he left home and took refuge in a motel with his wife. His independent ministry, Family Radio International, spent millions — some of it from donations made by followers — on more than 5,000 billboards and 20 RVs plastered with the Judgment Day message. It’s not the first time the independent Christian radio host has been forced to explain when his prediction didn’t come to pass. He also predicted the Apocalypse would come in 1994, but said it didn’t happen then because of a mathematical error. Apocalyptic thinking has always been part of American religious life and popular culture. Teachings about the end of the world vary dramatically — even within faith traditions — about how they will occur.Still, the overwhelming majority of Christians reject the idea that the exact date or time of Jesus’ return can be predicted.”

Matthew 24:36, “but about that day or hour no one knows” except God.
Mat 24:4  And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5  For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
6  And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7  For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8  All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9  Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.
10  And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
11  And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12  And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
13  But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
14  And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

23  Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
24  For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
25  Behold, I have told you before.
26  Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
27  For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
28  For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
29  Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30  And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31  And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
32  Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
33  So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
34  Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
35  Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
36  But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
37  But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38  For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39  And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
40  Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
41  Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
42  Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

Mat 24:43  But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
44  Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
45  Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
46  Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
47  Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
  48  But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
  49  And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
50  The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
51  And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Mat 25:  1  Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
2  And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
3  They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
4  But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
5  While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
6  And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
7  Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
8  And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
9  But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
10  And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
11  Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
12  But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
13  Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
14  For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.
15  And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.
16  Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents.
17  And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two.
18  But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord’s money.
19  After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them.
20  And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.
21  His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
22  He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them.
23  His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
24  Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strowed:
25  And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.
:26  His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strowed:
27  Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.
28  Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.
29  For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.
30  And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
31  When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
32  And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
33  And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
34  Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35  For I was an hungered, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
36  Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
:37  Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38  When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39  Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40  And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
41  Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
42  For I was an hungered, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
43  I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
44  Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
45  Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
46  And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal..

SOME  residents on Saturday remained indoors with their families following a false prophecy that was allegedly made by a US-based evangelical broadcaster that the world would end on May 21, 2011..
but why were they deceived..  a  little bit of Christian knowledge can be very dangerous..

.

A SABBATH REST OR A GODLY REST? I do respect Sunday as God’s day and a day of my physical, spiritual refreshing too.. I rightfully do not respect the old testament Sabbath day anymore and if you had daily read the Bible yourself and practiced it you would not be so easily led astray here as well..

.

Many people falsely do lie when they say that the mandatory law of tithing, the giving of ten percent of all of our income should go directly to the local church and is applicable today too. There is no such commandment in the new testament, and the money collected was often used to give to the poor and needy persons not just the poor pastors.. https://postedat.wordpress.com/2009/05/28/secret-tithing/
 .
God’s commandment refers to what his specific commandment is for you by his own words to you.. you do not take all the medicine, even the outdated ones that is available at the drug store but you take what the doctor personally prescribes for you rather. re-read this truth.. People who follow the old testament Sabbath laws clearly now are falsely still not living by faith in the new testament of Jesus Christ finished work on the cross but are trying to enter in heaven by their own good works and will end upon in hell instead.
 .
It is so easy for anyone to personally to make false overly simplified judgmental statements out of context, which become a pretext for a false doctrine.
 .
Here are some too typical examples of some other misread laws of the bible too.
 .
As for all of the Pentecostals and any others who lying also do say say it is God will that we all be rich, wealthy they forgot that God also had said in the Bible do now note that one of the conditions for being wealthy was to give our money to others, to the poor and needy persons, and not rather to pig out ourselves  and God now also had told me decades that next when you steal, do commit fraud that God stops blessing you financially, he dries up all of your income.. he will not bless you .. https://postedat.wordpress.com/2011/03/23/the-biblical-secrets-on-personal-prosperity/
 .
Pentecostals and anyone do also lie when they say all persons can be healed immediately of any sicknesses by faith since sickness is related to sins always.. not true.. .. and it is not your faith that heals you but God still. https://postedat.wordpress.com/2011/04/13/and-he-healed-them-all/
.
I have known people who had been healed of cancer, heart attacks eventually as well, but now firstly God had directly told me often and even recently that through many trials and tribulations I too do have to go through before I can enter the kingdom of heaven, and that he God would eventually lead me out of the valley of the shadow of death, in his time, in his way too, and note this also that God also had said to me that he would do for me what the doctors could not do, since he God undeniably works through doctors firstly and now also all of my own obtained medical expertise with heart problems and diabetes it does helps so many others next too, and the people who read my Health Blog too. God told me directly that he chose not to heal me directly of my heart or diabetes problems yet because it was part of his will for me as he told me himself too.
 .
The VERY lazy, obstinate, pig headed and unrealistic persons who chose to remain in ignorance of the whole Bible says and would refuse to do the hard work to learn the truth will always fall into error
.
I ALSO DO like to hear daily directly still from God as to what I should do..

Tithing

I am totally convicted that greed, lack of real faith is why many preachers preach tithing, and I wonder if they practice it, do they even for a start give a portion of the tithe to the local poor people as also required in the laws of tithing in the old testament? and what about looking at all the verses on giving first in the new testament.

  • 11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat. (1 Corinthians 5:11)
  • 12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within? (1 Corinthians 5:12)
  • 13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person. (1 Corinthians 5:13)
  • 5 For neither at any time used we flattering words, as ye know, nor a cloke of covetousness; God is witness: (1 Thessalonians 2:5)
  • 1 The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed: (1 Peter 5:1)
  • 2 Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind (1 Peter 5:2)
  • 1 This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work. (1 Timothy 3:1)
  • 2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach; (1 Timothy 3:2)
  • 3 Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous (1 Timothy 3:3)
  • 8 Likewise must the deacons be grave, not doubletongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre; (1 Timothy 3:8)
  • 7 For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre; (Titus 1:7)
  • 1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. (2 Timothy 3:1)
  • 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, (2 Timothy 3:2)
  • 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, (2 Timothy 3:3)
  • 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; (2 Timothy 3:4)
  • 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. (2 Timothy 3:5)
  • 6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, (2 Timothy 3:6)
  • 7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. (2 Timothy 3:7)
  • 8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. (2 Timothy 3:8)
  • 9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as their’s also was. (2 Timothy 3:9)
  • 11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. (Revelation 13:11)
  • 12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. (Revelation 13:12)
  • 13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, (Revelation 13:13)
  • 14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. (Revelation 13:14)
  • 15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. (Revelation 13:15)
  • 16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: (Revelation 13:16)
  • 17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. (Revelation 13:17)
  • 18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. (Revelation 13:18)
  • 1 And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. (Revelation 18:1)
  • 2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. (Revelation 18:2)
  • 3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. (Revelation 18:3)
  • 4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. (Revelation 18:4)
  • 5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities. (Revelation 18:5)
  • 6 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double. (Revelation 18:6)
  • 7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow. (Revelation 18:7)
  • 8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her. (Revelation 18:8)
  • 9 And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning, (Revelation 18:9)
  • 10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come. (Revelation 18:10)
  • 11 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more: (Revelation 18:11)
  • 12 The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble, (Revelation 18:12)
  • 13 And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men. (Revelation 18:13)
  • 14 And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all. (Revelation 18:14)
  • 15 The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing, (Revelation 18:15)
  • 16 And saying, Alas, alas that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls! (Revelation 18:16)
  • 17 For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off, (Revelation 18:17)
  • 18 And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city! (Revelation 18:18)
  • 19 And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate. (Revelation 18:19)
  • 20 Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her. (Revelation 18:20)
  • 21 And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all. (Revelation 18:21)
  • 22 And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee; (Revelation 18:22)
  • 23 And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived. (Revelation 18:23)
  • 24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth. (Revelation 18:24)

Greed and the Tithe

(From Hidden Manna by David Eells)

Paul gave Timothy a revelation of the false prophets and those who follow them in the “last days.” (2Tim.3:1) But know this, that in the last days grievous times shall come. (2) For men shall be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, haughty, railers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, (3) without natural affection, implacable, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, no lovers of good, (4) traitors, headstrong, puffed up, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God; (5) holding a form of godliness, but having denied the power thereof: from these also turn away. These men, who are identified by their egotistical appetite for money, prestige, pleasure, and position, love their religious “form of godliness.” Among these are the false prophets who lead captive the like-minded apostate religious sects. (6) For of these are they that creep into houses (of worship), and take captive silly women (sects of God’s people – Isa.4:1, 32:9) laden with sins, led away by divers lusts, (7) ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Those who love to justify their own sinful ways respect these “impostors” and their “form of godliness.” (13) But evil men and impostors shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.

These false prophets are identified as “lovers of money.” These are the merchants of religious Babylon (Rev.18). They make “Father’s house a house of merchandise” (Jn.2:16). Since God will not support their personal kingdom-building, they peddle books, tapes, trinkets, chicken dinners, tours, etc. This is the way of the world and for those who have an impoverished God. Why would anyone who was sent by God and believed the promises of our provision through Christ do this? Our examples in the early leadership of the Church certainly did not. (Jn.2:13)…Jesus went up to Jerusalem. (14) And he found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting: (15) and he made a scourge of cords, and cast all out of the temple, both the sheep and the oxen; and he poured out the changers’ money, and overthrew their tables; (16) and to them that sold the doves he said, Take these things hence; make not my Father’s house a house of merchandise. They peddle the promises of God’s provision to those who give to their ministry. They make “merchandise of the word of God” (2Cor.2:17 [in Greek]). They peddle the Word for salaries like hirelings. When a person is not sent by God he does not have faith that “God shall supply every need” (Php.4:19). Where God sends, He supplies. Without God’s supernatural supply, people have to resort to other tactics to support “their” ministry. The Lord has not changed His mind, “the righteous shall live by faith,” not salaries. He commanded His ministers, “[F]reely ye received, [F]reely give. Get you no gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses.” A man who lives by faith has to walk with God because “if our heart condemn us not, we have boldness toward God; and whatsoever we ask we receive of him, because we keep his commandments and do the things that are pleasing in his sight” (1Jn.3:21,22). God’s command that His leaders walk by faith ensures righteous leadership.

The early Church leadership was not in the habit of taking up collections, but when they did it was not for themselves but the saints in persecution and need as it was with Jerusalem. (1Cor.16:1) Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I gave order to the churches of Galatia, so also do ye. (2) Upon the first day of the week let each one of you lay by him in store, as he may prosper, that no collections be made when I come. (3) And when I arrive, whomsoever ye shall approve, them will I send with letters to carry your bounty unto Jerusalem. Notice that Paul didn’t handle the money but approved brethren did. He preferred to not even be present when the collection for the saints was received so that there would be no extortion involved as it was with the Macedonian collection. He also didn’t use the Macedonians’ presence to shame and extort the Corinthians. (2Cor.9:3) But I have sent the brethren, that our glorying on your behalf may not be made void in this respect; that, even as I said, ye may be prepared: (4) lest by any means, if there come with me any of Macedonia and find you unprepared, we (that we say not, ye) should be put to shame in this confidence. (5) I thought it necessary therefore to entreat the brethren, that they would go before unto you, and make up beforehand your aforepromised bounty, that the same might be ready as a matter of bounty, and not of extortion.

Ministers received free will offerings and did not demand their rights through condemnation or legalism. (1Cor.9:11) If we sowed unto you spiritual things, is it a great matter if we shall reap your carnal things? (12) If others partake of [this] right over you, do not we yet more? Nevertheless we did not use this right; but we bear all things, that we may cause no hindrance to the gospel of Christ. (13) Know ye not that they that minister about sacred things eat [of] the things of the temple, [and] they that wait upon the altar have their portion with the altar? (14) Even so did the Lord ordain that they that proclaim the gospel should live of the gospel. (15) But I have used none of these things: and I write not these things that it may be so done in my case; for [it were] good for me rather to die, than that any man should make my glorifying void. Paul said, “we did not use this right…that we may cause no hindrance to the gospel.” Even the world sees through the “gimmee gospel” and its con men and they disrespect the true Gospel because of it. In obeying the command “freely ye received, freely give” we leave no room for suspicion.

(2Pet.2:1) But there arose false prophets also among the people, as among you also there shall be false teachers, who shall privily bring in destructive heresies…. (3) And in covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you. One way they “make merchandise of you” is to put God’s people under the Law to support them when the Scripture clearly states that our giving is “not of necessity” (2Cor.9:7). “[Let] each man [do] according as he has purposed in his heart; not grudgingly, or of necessity (this is not according to the law of tithing): for God loveth a cheerful giver.” In the New Covenant, God wants an offering from the heart from those born of His Spirit. God made the Old Covenant with natural Israel and refused the Gentiles. (Ps.147:19) He showeth his word unto Jacob, His statutes and his ordinances unto Israel. (20) He hath not dealt so with any nation; And as for his ordinances, they have not known them. Now the New Covenant is made only with the Church and refused to those under the Law. If a doctrine like tithing is not in the New Covenant then it was never made with you! It will only separate you from Christ and grace. (Gal.5:4) Ye are severed from Christ, ye who would be justified by the law; ye are fallen away from grace. Jesus rebuked the false prophets of His day saying, “Woe unto you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye tithe mint and anise and cummin (even their seasoning), and have left undone the weightier matters of the law, justice, and mercy, and faith: but these you ought to have done (this is past tense in all ancient manuscripts, Numerics, and the Received Text), and not to have left the other undone” (Mt 23:23). Jesus clearly said here that tithing was both in the past and under the Law. Some say tithing was before the Law. Yes, circumcision and animal sacrifice were before the Law, too, but they were included in the law and we are not under Law to do them anymore either. Paul also said tithing was of the Law in Hebrews 7:5-11. There is no New Covenant command or request to tithe because we are no longer stewards of ten percent. Jesus taught that we have to renounce ownership of the other ninety percent or we cannot be His disciple. (Lk.14:33) So therefore whosoever he be of you that renounceth not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple. “All” here means all possessions, rights and will. Those who claim possession of the other ninety percent are thieves. The Holy Spirit and the New Covenant commands were given to establish where, how much, and to whom we give. We are merely stewards of what He has put in our hands.

The church’s system of tithing is extortion and graft. It is not even righteous when compared to the Old Covenant tithe. Under the type and shadow of the tithe, ten percent was taken from eleven tribes and given to one tribe, the Levites ([ministers] Num.18:24). Then the Levites gave one ten percent (tithe) to the high priest (25-28). This left the Levites with ten percent from ten tribes. That is an average of what the other eleven tribes had to live on. Even when Israel’s economy grew, they still lived on an average income. Today with a larger percent of the people doing the supporting, coupled with the fact that the pastors have usurped the authority of the rest of the five-fold ministry (Eph.4:11), ministers have become fat and filthy rich. This is a great stumbling block to both the world who sees through this and to the ministers. This also makes the people of God bad stewards. We have made God’s house a “den of robbers” (Mt.21:13). (Ezk.34:2) Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, even to the shepherds, Thus saith the Lord: Woe unto the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the sheep? (3) Ye eat the fat, and ye clothe you with the wool, ye kill the fatlings; but ye feed not the sheep.

These men make it plain that we are not under the Law except when there is a profit involved and then we are told to “bring ye the whole tithe into the storehouse,” which is a command of the Old Covenant. Of course, they falsely claim to be the storehouse. In Old Covenant type and shadow, tithes were cast into the treasury, which was in the midst of the temple (1Ki.7:51; Mk.12:41). In the New Covenant the temple is God’s people, and Jesus said that we would be judged by whether we meet the needs of His people (Mt.25:31-46; 1Jn.3:16,17). This is how we store up treasure in heaven (Lk.12:33,34). We are taught to not store up our treasures on earth (Mt.6:19-21) but to meet the needs of the brethren so “that there may be equality” (2Cor.8:14). Those who will not renounce ownership and become stewards of one hundred percent are not being disciples for “we were bought with a price.” We are now bondservants of Christ. The Holy Spirit now tells the disciples of Christ how much, to whom, where, and when to give.

GRACE

(Luke 2:40 KJV)  And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him.

(John 1:14 KJV)  And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

(John 1:16 KJV)  And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.

(John 1:17 KJV)  For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

(Acts 4:33 KJV)  And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.

(Acts 11:23 KJV)  Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord.

(Acts 13:43 KJV)  Now when the congregation was broken up, many of the Jews and religious proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas: who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God.

(Acts 14:3 KJV)  Long time therefore abode they speaking boldly in the Lord, which gave testimony unto the word of his grace, and granted signs and wonders to be done by their hands.

(Acts 14:26 KJV)  And thence sailed to Antioch, from whence they had been recommended to the grace of God for the work which they fulfilled.

(Acts 15:11 KJV)  But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they.

(Acts 15:40 KJV)  And Paul chose Silas, and departed, being recommended by the brethren unto the grace of God.

(Acts 18:27 KJV)  And when he was disposed to pass into Achaia, the brethren wrote, exhorting the disciples to receive him: who, when he was come, helped them much which had believed through grace:

(Acts 20:24 KJV)  But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

(Acts 20:32 KJV)  And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.

(Rom 1:5 KJV)  By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:

(Rom 1:7 KJV)  To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

(Rom 3:24 KJV)  Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

(Rom 4:4 KJV)  Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.

(Rom 4:16 KJV)  Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,

(Rom 5:2 KJV)  By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

(Rom 5:15 KJV)  But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.

(Rom 5:17 KJV)  For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)

(Rom 5:20 KJV)  Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:

(Rom 5:21 KJV)  That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

(Rom 6:1 KJV)  What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?

(Rom 6:14 KJV)  For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

(Rom 6:15 KJV)  What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.

(Rom 11:5 KJV)  Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.

(Rom 11:6 KJV)  And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.

(Rom 12:3 KJV)  For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

(Rom 12:6 KJV)  Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;

(Rom 15:15 KJV)  Nevertheless, brethren, I have written the more boldly unto you in some sort, as putting you in mind, because of the grace that is given to me of God,

(Rom 16:20 KJV)  And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

(Rom 16:24 KJV)  The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

(1 Cor 1:3 KJV)  Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

(1 Cor 1:4 KJV)  I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ;

(1 Cor 3:10 KJV)  According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.

(1 Cor 10:30 KJV)  For if I by grace be a partaker, why am I evil spoken of for that for which I give thanks?

(1 Cor 15:10 KJV)  But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

(1 Cor 16:23 KJV)  The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

(2 Cor 1:2 KJV)  Grace be to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

(2 Cor 1:12 KJV)  For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward.

(2 Cor 4:15 KJV)  For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.

(2 Cor 6:1 KJV)  We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.

(2 Cor 8:1 KJV)  Moreover, brethren, we do you to wit of the grace of God bestowed on the churches of Macedonia;

(2 Cor 8:6 KJV)  Insomuch that we desired Titus, that as he had begun, so he would also finish in you the same grace also.

(2 Cor 8:7 KJV)  Therefore, as ye abound in every thing, in faith, and utterance, and knowledge, and in all diligence, and in your love to us, see that ye abound in this grace also.

(2 Cor 8:9 KJV)  For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.

(2 Cor 8:19 KJV)  And not that only, but who was also chosen of the churches to travel with us with this grace, which is administered by us to the glory of the same Lord, and declaration of your ready mind:

(2 Cor 9:8 KJV)  And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

(2 Cor 9:14 KJV)  And by their prayer for you, which long after you for the exceeding grace of God in you.

(2 Cor 12:9 KJV)  And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

(2 Cor 13:14 KJV)  The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.

(Gal 1:5 KJV)  Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;) And all the brethren which are with me, unto the churches of Galatia:  Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father: To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

(Gal 1:6 KJV)  I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:

(Gal 1:15 KJV)  But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb, and called me by his grace,

(Gal 2:9 KJV)  And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision.

(Gal 2:21 KJV)  I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

(Rev 22:21 KJV)  The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

UNDERSTANDING GRACE

GRACE IS CLEARLY DEFINED AS OUR PERSONAL SALVATION, EMPOWERMENT BY THE GRACE OF GOD, BUT TOO MANY PEOPLE NOW STILL  TRY TO ADD TO IT’S MEANING THAT  WHAT IS NOT THERE. FACE IT TOO MANY PEOPLE TEACH, PREACH, READ INTO THE BIBLE THAT WHICH IS NOT THERE, EVEN ABOUT GRACE,

(Gal 6:7 KJV)  Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

Why I prefer to read, study the Bible over listening to what others say the Bible says, is because next  I do not have to remove the meat from the bones, cause it is the pure unadulterated word of God. The term “age of grace” is also not found in the Bible directly. Too many persons distort  the Bible. it’s laws and the meaning of God’s grace still too.

Hebrews 8:12 says, “For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.”  We have been released from the specific penalty of sin once we admit, confess, repent of our sin, and next also do appropriate the past sacrifice of Jesus Christ for our sin. The persons or person  who says we have been free from any penalty for our personal sins  as a Christian is now a liar, an AntiChrist.

Hebrews 7:11-12 “If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Mel-chis-ed-ec, and not be called after the order of Aaron? For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.” The first Covenant then was a Covenant of laws and the second, and better, is a Covenant of God’s grace. Hebrews 7:22, 8:6.  “By so much was Jesus made, a surety of a better testament.” “But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.”

There is no argument or debate over the existence of an Old and New Testament, but the errors and misunderstandings do arise when a discussion of their differences AND  non applications occurs. Now the difference between Old and New goes beyond the past sacrificial system, rituals. customs, laws. Note there have now indeed indeed been changes made as to our personal relationship to some of the old Testament laws, and thus with God. The Old testament relationship with God has become null and void. Many people still read into this that which is not there.

Before I married my wife it would have been wrong for me to be physically intimate with her, yet now that we are married that rule no longer governs our relationship. Well by me being married to Jesus Christ I now enter into with a new relationship with god as well. But there are still things I cannot do like abuse my wife, abuse her rights.

There is no argument or debate over the existence of an Old and New Testament , but the errors and misunderstandings do arise when a discussion of their differences AND  the non applications occurs. Now the differences between Old and New goes beyond the past sacrificial system, rituals. customs, laws. But still only Part of the necessity of the applications of the Old testament has been done away in Jesus Christ. Hebrews 7:18-19 says, “For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof.  For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.”  The noun “disannulling” is only used twice in the Bible.  Both times are in Hebrews.  The word means a setting aside, abolition, to put away. It’s verb form is translated despise, reject, bring to nothing, frustrate, disannul, cast off.  A synonym for the word is cancellation. So we see then; that the law “answered the end for which it was designed – that of introducing a more perfect plan, and then vanished as a matter of course”. (Heb 7:22 KJV)  By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament. Many people do not know, understand what parts of the Bible are applicable and what parts of inapplicable even because they have not rightfully studied the word of God themselves. (2 Tim 2:15 KJV)  Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.(2 Tim 2:16 KJV)  But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.

The Old Testament and some of it’s law were now only a shadow or picture of the better things to come through the grace of Jesus Christ, God the Father. Hebrews 10:1  “For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.”

The specific  Laws are created for a reason and given a certain set of conditions and circumstances.  When the circumstances or situation are not present then the law is basically not applicable.  Hebrews 9:15, 12:24 “And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.” “And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.”  Jesus Christ’s  death on the cross, and His shed blood mark the beginning of a New  Testament, Covenant between God and His dealings with man:  Hebrews 10:9, “…He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.”  Jesus Christ is the one who has delivered us from the applicable Old Covenant  law of sin and death.  Romans 7:6 “But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.” Romans 3:28 “Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.” II Corinthians 3:6 “Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.”

(Gal 3:1 KJV)  O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you? 2  This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? 3  Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh? 4  Have ye suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain. 5  He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? 6  Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. 7  Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. 8  And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed. 9  So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham. 10  For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them. 11  But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. 12  And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them. 13  Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 14  That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. 15  Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man’s covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto. 16  Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. 17  And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect. 18  For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise. 19  Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator. 20  Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one. 21  Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law. 22  But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe. 23  But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. 24  Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 25  But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.

Matthew 25:31-32 “When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:” II Corinthians 6:17. “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,”  Jude 18-19 “”How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.”

The necessity of the  leading of the Holy Spirit.

“And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.” {John 14:16,17}

“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.” {John 14:26}

“But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me.” {John 15:26}

“And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: of sin, because they do not believe in Me; of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more; of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.” {John 16:8-11}

“And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” {Ephesians 6:17}

“For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” {Hebrews 4:12}

“Knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.” {1 Peter 1:20,21}

One of Spirit of God’s most effective way to personally lead us is through his Word. But the Spirit of God also speaks to us in a still, quiet voice.. but he will also use our tongues and speak to us and others in Prophecy

“When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.” {Acts 2:1-4}

“Yet for many years You had patience with them, And testified against them by Your Spirit in Your prophets. Yet they would not listen; Therefore You gave them into the hand of the peoples of the lands.” (Nehemiah 9:30).

“You also gave Your good Spirit to instruct me…Yet for many years You had patience with them, and testified against them by Your Spirit in Your prophets…” {Nehemiah 9:20,30}

“The Spirit of the Lord spoke by me, and His word was on my tongue.” {2 Samuel 23:2} God’s word was placed on the prophet’s tongue.

“As for Me,” says the LORD, this is My covenant with them: My Spirit who is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your descendants, nor from the mouth of your descendants’ descendants,” says the LORD, from this time and forevermore.” {Isaiah 59:21}

(1 Cor 14:21 KJV) In the law it is written, With men of other tongues and other lips will I speak unto this people; and yet for all that will they not hear me, saith the Lord.

(1 Cor 14:22 KJV) Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: but prophesying serveth not for them that believe not, but for them which believe. 23 If therefore the whole church be come together into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those that are unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say that ye are mad? 24 But if all prophesy, and there come in one that believeth not, or one unlearned, he is convinced of all, he is judged of all: 25 And thus are the secrets of his heart made manifest; and so falling down on his face he will worship God, and report that God is in you of a truth.

(1 Cor 14:29 KJV) Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge.30 If any thing be revealed to another that sitteth by, let the first hold his peace.31 For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted.32 And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets. 33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

(1 Cor 14:37 KJV) If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord. 38 But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant. 39 Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues. 40 Let all things be done decently and in order.

(1 Cor 2:10 KJV) But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual“

But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth,” (2 Thessalonians 2:13)

Tithing was a part of the law. It is again interesting that those who believe we must tithe do not follow the entire letter in this matter.  The law required several tithes, which would amount to considerably more than ten percent. WE ARE NOT TO WALK  “Not of works, lest any man should boast.”  Ephesians 5:9

Romans 8:1 “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”  WALK IN THE FLESH AND YOU WILL BE CONDEMNED.

Hebrews 5:12 “For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.”

Now I would remind you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you – unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures. I Corinthians 15:1-4

(Luke 14:26 KJV)  If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. 27  And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple. 28  For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? 29  Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, 30  Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish. 31  Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand? 32  Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace. 33  So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple. 34  Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be seasoned? 35  It is neither fit for the land, nor yet for the dunghill; but men cast it out. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

I deny that we are to SOLELY self  centered  to find ultimate personal fulfillment or happiness in this world, or that God’s ultimate purpose here on earth is for us to find merely a more meaningful and fulfilling life in this fallen world. Our personal healing, deliverance, salvation is a valid part of the full gospel of the New Testament, Bible too. I further deny that any teaching that offers soley  our physical health and wealth as God’s assured promises in this life  as being the full true gospel. There is much more to being a Christian now than that and much more in the will of God now for us. I deny that the  WOMEN’S roles excludes women from meaningful ministry in Christ’s kingdom.  I deny the  CLAIM that loyalty to any denomination or fellowship of churches can take precedence over the claims of truth and faithfulness to the New Testament, Bible. I  deny that any church can accept biblical distortions, racial prejudice, discrimination, or division without betraying the Gospel.

SECRET or not so secret TITHING

awp375

Psalm 1:1  Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2  But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.  3  And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.4  The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. 5  Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.6  For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

.

(Luke 14:26 KJV)  If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.

.
(Luke 14:33 KJV)  So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.

.

God does not need your money, he wants all of you rather.  Apostle Paul clearly made the decision to follow Jesus alone in all that he did, living by faith now too. Paul did not preach tithing at all.  https://postedat.wordpress.com/2010/01/09/and-who-do-you-follow-jesus-or/

Matthew 6

1 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.
2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:

4 That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly

Tithing – giving  10 percent of all of their incomes supposedly directly to God, but today  Tithing preaching is evil in many ways.. it is a false attempt to enslave us under a false obedience to the  false laws.. Old Testament laws that we are not obligated to follow as Christians.   ”Tithing was divinely instituted by God under the old covenant and was compulsory upon the people who worshiped God ( upon Jews only).
.

Abraham was not a Jew so he did not tithe. The nation of Jews came at a later date.

Genesis 16 And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely the LORD is in this place; and I knew it not.17 And he was afraid, and said, How dreadful is this place! this is none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.18 And Jacob rose up early in the morning, and took the stone that he had put for his pillows, and set it up for a pillar, and poured oil upon the top of it.19 And he called the name of that place Bethel: but the name of that city was called Luz at the first.20 And Jacob vowed a vow, saying, If God will be with me, and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat, and raiment to put on,21 So that I come again to my father’s house in peace; then shall the LORD be my God:22 And this stone, which I have set for a pillar, shall be God’s house: and of all that thou shalt give me I will surely give the tenth unto thee.
.
Tithing today also  is a  mechanism used by most Pastors to steal God’s money and for them use it where they want, not where God wants it to be used
.
It was interesting that Rev George Mueller was able to raise millions of dollars by donation, without once sharing and his the needs publicly too. He exercised  his faith in God, verb- Use or apply (a faculty, right, or process),  and prayed secretly for all his needs unlike the many false hirelings in the Ministry today who have their eyes on people and not God

.
Now my God has already promised to   supply all your needs by Jesus Christ already so why do you want to even tithe  firstly? what are your real motives in doing so?
.
While God does not command mandatory tithing in the New Testament, I might expect that God will bless some of the people who voluntarily tithe, give ten percent of all their income to God, in the place God specially now tells them to give too,  for God diligently rewards those who put their trust in Him, obeys and follows his revealed will to them, but for sure God does not bless all of the tithers, for it depends on the initial reasons as to why they do now  tithe,  and  which too often they can still be a wrong reason, even selfish, self centered reasons like seeking self prosperity, financial security or even showing off, boasting.
.
Do note also that like today in social aid, the people receiving social  aid they now cannot own major tangible property, real estate, so any of   the people, priests  receiving the old testament tithes they also could not own any major tangible, real estate  properties.. but today the false priest, pastors who are demanding on receiving tithes they falsely also do want to still own a home… to enjoy the monetary rewards of both.. they are still equivalent of welfare cheats!!!!

Now about Tithing in the old Testament.. as it is no longer found in the New Testament basically..
.
Tithing
.
Under the new covenant we are not bound by arbitrary laws; but the principles of right and wrong, as expressed by the law, are fulfilled in the believer’s life through grace. Grace should produce as much as or more than law demanded. Regular systematic giving is clearly taught in the New Testament. It is known as the grace of giving.   The gauge or rule of this systematic giving is defined in the Old Testament, known as the law of tithing. All Christians should conscientiously and systematically tithe their income to God  ( ? )”
.
The Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, PAOC also now CLEARLY LIES, IS GUILTY OF MISLEADING, FALSE  STATEMENTS TO ALL CANADIANS TO OBTAIN DONATIONS, by even saying Jesus requires us all to tithe.
.
(Lev 27:30 KJV)  And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD’S: it is holy unto the LORD. 31  And if a man will at all redeem ought of his tithes, he shall add thereto the fifth part thereof.  32 And concerning the tithe of the herd, or of the flock, even of whatsoever passeth under the rod, the tenth shall be holy unto the LORD.
.
(Mal 3:10 KJV)  Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
.
(2 Cor 9:6 -15 KJV)  But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.    And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:    (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever.    Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)    Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.   For the administration of this service not only supplieth the want of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God;   Whiles by the experiment of this ministration they glorify God for your professed subjection unto the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal distribution unto them, and unto all men;  And by their prayer for you, which long after you for the exceeding grace of God in you. Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.
.
While I was able to agree with most of   the PAOC doctrines, statements of faith, next the glaring biblical distortion of the emphasis on the compulsory tithing was  unacceptable. So is their false support of divorce now too.
.
Here also there was glaring inconsistency in the preaching OF TITHING over the actual practice, specially even related to the partial biblical quotes now too.. where clearly there is a direct reference as tithing being applicable to help the poor persons. which in fact is not being practiced in realty for a start at all even  the definite Biblical requirement that 1/7 of the tithes belongs directly to the local  poor persons..
.
SO IF YOU SAY YOU BELIEVE IN TITHING THEN YOU MUST BELIEVE IN HELPING THE LOCAL POOR PEOPLE WITH IT. AND WE CAN ALL SEE THE EVIDENCE IF IT TOO.
.
*The Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada CHURCH is a Fellowship of more than 1,100 churches across English- and French-speaking Canada.  http://www.paoc.org/info@paoc.org
.
The New Testament  Epistles are full of discussions about giving for the support  of  preachers, teachers, and also the giving to the poor persons: but no where do now in realty do any of the  Apostles ask for the tithes  directly or indirectly! Will somebody still please show me where in the New Testament we can next find  any of the New testament Believers in Christ believers paying tithes specifically, or any of the Apostles asking for tithes? Well? Where? It does  not exist in fact!
.
In reality the Old Testament Book of Malachi the one most often used a reference to application of tithing in the PAOC CHURCH today firstly was written directly ironically too to the bad priests who were stealing the tithe that all belongs to God firstly. The earth is the Lord’s, and every thing in it, the world, and all who live in it. (Psalm 24:1).
.
The book of  Malachi firstly is about the prophet Malachi  is rebuking the bad priests, the  Levites. The tithe payable by the Levites, and main subject is not the tithes payable by the people was the issue, the unpaid tithe here. Ironic that the tithe collection is still too often being abused too often today as well by the PAOC Church  , pastors.
.
“The pastors of the PAOC  Church pastors have too often abused  the tithe, stole the TITHE monies, and I had often now turned them into the the authorities myself too , including the PAOC  Calgary Christian centre as I have also detailed on the net to all why too.
.
For decades now too I have known many PAOC Christians who boasted to me of their tithing while they continued to commit immoral, unacceptable acts. Tithing was a part of the Old Testament  law, and not the New Testament Covenant.
.
It is again interesting that those who believe we must enforce  tithe today that they do not follow the entire letter of the law in this matter in their preaching of the  New Testament, new  Covenant for  the law required also several tithes, including tithing to the local poor persons, all which would amount to considerably more than ten percent.
.
Also now according to the same Bible all persons who received any portions of the tithes now too were not allowed to own any property as well.  False Boasting, faith by works  is too often associated with tithing AND WE ARE NOT TO WALK  “Not of works, lest any man should boast.”  Ephesians 5:9
.
We too often hear Church sermons on the need to give money to the local storehouse, supposedly the local church, under the heading of tithing being even applicable today? Now is it? How come most of the hypocrites, liars who preach on the demands of the laws of tithing today neglect to firstly themselves to practice on all of the other inclusive laws related to tithing as well. Or are they deliberately or undeliberately  ignorant of these other applicable Biblical laws?
.
Just cause a person tithes, does not mean he is spiritual, more likely he is still even coming tax evasion, cheating, steal, abusing  in my personal witness and experiences even in the PAOC churches now. (Psa 112:9 KJV)  He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour.
.
(Acts 15:14 KJV)  Simeon hath declared how God at the first did visit the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for his name. 15  And to this agree the words of the prophets; as it is written, 16  After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up: 17  That the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called, saith the Lord, who doeth all these things. 18  Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world.
.
Firstly the promised restoration of the tabernacle of David mentioned in the book of Acts is not the restoration of tithing, Jerusalem as the center of Worship, any land of Israel now too, and it was, is not for sure a nationalistic Israel empire building..
.
The promised restoration of the tabernacle of David  is solely foremost  by the substitutionary innocent death of Jesus Christ next actually is the experience of the personal “Baptism of the Holy Spirit”, Pentecostalism, and the restoration of the related personal method of the worship of God directly, David danced before the Lord, and thus also  it is not just the formation of CHRIST’S Church.(John 4:23 KJV)  But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth..
.
Too many even professing Christian persons are not familiar with the Bible , THE NEW TESTAMENT AND THEY THUS DO HAVE A FALSE UNDERSTANDING OF JESUS CHRIST, Tithing, etc., Most persons do not know the Bible really well, in fact they really have not  studied the Bible still firsthand and sadly most people wrongfully rely mostly,  heavily on what  the others do  tell them even as to the supposed truth in  regard to tithing in  the Bible..
.
Too often I had  entered a PAOC church for the first time and I was greeted by the pastor and he wanted immediately to know where I was working, what kind of work I and he did not at all ask rather about my poor health which had prevented me from working at that time. Now also I CLEARLY SAW THE GLIMMER IN THE HE PASTOR EYES COUNTING THE POTENTIAL INCOME. HE WRONGFULLY HAD HIS EYES ON MAN TO SUPPLY HIS NEEDS AND NOT GOD.
.
Other Christians, even a church secretary even,  bragged to me that they were paid up in the annual tithe but admitted to me they also had not paid all of the taxes cause they had committed tax evasions, for after all their pastor now had did the same thing. (Luke 20:25 KJV)  And he said unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which be Caesar’s, and unto God the things which be God’s.
.
THE SUBJECT OF  TITHING OFTEN CAUSES SOME PERSONS GREAT STRESS AND EVEN CHURCH DIVISIONS, FALSE  PERSECUTIONS AS WELL.
.
(1 Tim 6:10 KJV)  For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. 12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
.
IT IS NOT YOUR TITHING THAT WILL BLESS YOU FIRSTLY BUT IT IS GOD HIMSELF.. (Prov 10:22 KJV) The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.
.
IT IS TRUE, A FACT THAT FOR  many years many people have been looking even for the one Bible verse that would make them rich and famous too. AND TOO MANY  PEOPLE ARE LEAD FALSELY TO BELIEVE THAT TITHING WILL LEAD TO, GUARANTEE  FINANCIAL PROSPERITY.
.
Well prosperity that now happens one day at a time with our walk with Jesus, it is firstly a spiritual one, for we are rich in Him and famous for our great exploits through Him as well not rather solely Money, the love of which is the root of all evil still.. I am also tired of hearing from the persons who wrongfully distort, take one isolated verse about prosperity being wealth, money and they do also wrongfully leave out all of the rest of the Bible verses that speak on giving to the poor and needy, about overall true prosperity and not just more  money now as well.. these type of preachers it seems are  wrongfully mostly selfish and unbalanced persons still, not real loving Christians also.
.
(3 John 1:2 KJV)  Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.prospering  greatly in the Lord firstly? with personal visible good works too? good works on behalf of others, the poor and needy persons too?
.
(2 Cor 8:1 KJV)  Moreover, brethren, we do you to wit of the grace of God bestowed on the churches of Macedonia; 2  How that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the riches of their liberality. 3  For to their power, I bear record, yea, and beyond their power they were willing of themselves; 4  Praying us with much entreaty that we would receive the gift, and take upon us the fellowship of the ministering to the saints. 5  And this they did, not as we hoped, but first gave their own selves to the Lord, and unto us by the will of God.
.
Ministering to the saints does not mean solely religious empire building, paying of building funds, and the physical maintenance costs. You do not need a church building to practice tithing and ministering to the saints.(Deu 16:17 KJV) Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the LORD thy God which he hath given thee.
.
IN THE NEW TESTAMENT (1 Corinthians 16:2 KJV)  “Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.” Note nothing about a minimum amount in specific tithing obligations was, is mentioned here and why?  (GALATIANS 2:10 KJV)  Only they would that we should remember the poor; the same which I also was forward to do.
.
God has designed the churches also  should help the poor,  help one another, other churches, and that  can next  also include any other ministries that God will, will lead you to give to now as well.. a real ministry is where someone actually looks after the good physical and spiritual welfare of the flock of God, not just in words, but with real visible , good deeds.
.
(Mat 7:20 KJV)  Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. (Mat 7:21 KJV)  Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22  Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
.
(Luke 16:9 KJV)  And I say unto you, Make to yourselves friends of the mammon of unrighteousness; that, when ye fail, they may receive you into everlasting habitations.
.
(Luke 16:10 KJV)  He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.
.
(Luke 16:11 KJV)  If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?
.
(Luke 16:12 KJV)  And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man’s, who shall give you that which is your own?
.
(Luke 16:13 KJV)  No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
.
Now what does the Bible actually really say about tithing overall?
.
You firstly in love and gratitude give back to God for his love, for his goodness you bring the gift, tithes to God through  yourself  and yes you ensure it is administered   directly to the Christian workers, the poor and needy persons, even  a set portion of the tithe and then you start to also give some more love offerings for the mortgages, the other needs.. Giving is always more than the minimum 10 percent of one’s income, tithe in the old testament for a start.
.
Now it is true that tithing existed and was practiced in the Old Testament  and  a  set portion of these tithes  were also to be given to the local poor persons  too. In fact at least 19 % of these Biblical commanded tithes were to be given  directly to the local poor persons. Too Many Churches today falsely do rob God by asking for just the tithe giving and next also wrongfully use it to pay the mortgage, building expenses.
.

and/or what they do also not use the same  tithes today   to help practically the poor  persons in their own church? even the designated Old  Testament amount of 19 % of the tithe?
.
Are you aware of a PAOC or any church that gives of the portion of the  collected tithes directly, systematically  to the  poor in their own church ? and gives an regular open account of it?
.
Furthermore undeniably too the Old Testament Levites, and the poor persons, or anyone who would enjoy  the benefits of the tithes they did not own  or could not own any land, or a house. The Lord God  stated that the Levites would have no inheritance of land but would be given a portion of the tithe instead. Such an injunction would also apply today to anyone claiming a right to receive a tithe too.
.
Numbers 18:20 (NIV) 20 The LORD said to Aaron, “You will have no inheritance in their land, nor will you have any share among them; I am your share and your inheritance among the Israelites.
.
(Deu 12:17 KJV)  Thou mayest not eat within thy gates the tithe of thy corn, or of thy wine, or of thy oil, or the firstlings of thy herds or of thy flock, nor any of thy vows which thou vowest, nor thy freewill offerings, or heave offering of thine hand:(Deu 14:23 KJV)  And thou shalt eat before the LORD thy God, in the place which he shall choose to place his name there, the tithe of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the firstlings of thy herds and of thy flocks; that thou mayest learn to fear the LORD thy God always.
.
(Neh 10:38 KJV)  And the priest the son of Aaron shall be with the Levites, when the Levites take tithes: and the Levites shall bring up the tithe of the tithes unto the house of our God, to the chambers, into the treasure house.
.
The Biblical reality also now  that only  10 percent of the collected  tithe in the Old testament  every three years went directly to the storehouse?
.
Also, every third year, the Israelite was required to store his tithe in his own town to feed the fatherless, aliens, and widows as required by the Lord. This was the tithe of the poor. (ma’aser ani)(Deuteronomy 14:22-29, 26:12-15) (Amos 4:4-5)
.
The tithe was also paid directly to the storehouse only every 3rd year? and the other two years the thither himself enjoyed the tithes himself by now also personally feasting on it? Did you ever hear your PAOC preacher tell you that and why not? Obviously he wanted your share of the tithe.
.
And why now have any of the today’s  PAOC pastors  not even mentioned ALL OF these  Biblical verses, truths  too in all honesty? rather they like you to believe that   then and not all of the tithes was to be  given to the local church for them wrongfully to do as they want.. which was not so at all AND NOT in the Old or New Testament. Even the Apostles were accountable, transparent  to the church elders in all they did.
.
Deuteronomy 14:22-29 (NIV) 22 Be sure to set aside a tenth of all that your fields produce each year. 23 Eat the tithe of your grain, new wine and oil, and the firstborn of your herds and flocks in the presence of the LORD your God at the place he will choose as a dwelling for his Name, so that you may learn to revere the LORD your God always. 24 But if that place is too distant and you have been blessed by the LORD your God and cannot carry your tithe (because the place where the LORD will choose to put his Name is so far away), 2 5 then exchange your tithe for silver, and take the silver with you and go to the place the LORD your God will choose. 26 Use the silver to buy whatever you like: cattle, sheep, wine or other fermented drink, or anything you wish. Then you and your household shall eat there in the presence of the LORD your God and rejoice. 27 And do not neglect the Levites living in your towns, for they have no allotment or inheritance of their own. 28 At the end of every three years, bring all the tithes of that year’s produce and store it in your towns, 29 so that the Levites (who have no allotment or inheritance of their own) and the aliens, the fatherless and the widows who live in your towns may come and eat and be satisfied, and so that the LORD your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.
.
Deuteronomy 26:12-15 (NIV) 12 When you have finished setting aside a tenth of all your produce in the third year, the year of the tithe, you shall give it to the Levite, the alien, the fatherless and the widow, so that they may eat in your towns and be satisfied. 13 Then say to the LORD your God: “I have removed from my house the sacred portion and have given it to the Levite, the alien, the fatherless and the widow, according to all you commanded. I have not turned aside from your commands nor have I forgotten any of them. 14 I have not eaten any of the sacred portion while I was in mourning, nor have I removed any of it while I was unclean, nor have I offered any of it to the dead. I have obeyed the LORD my God; I have done everything you commanded me. 15 Look down from heaven, your holy dwelling place, and bless your people Israel and the land you have given us as you promised on oath to our forefathers, a land flowing with milk and honey.”
.
Deuteronomy 12:4-19 (NIV) 4 You must not worship the LORD your God in their way. 5 But you are to seek the place the LORD your God will choose from among all your tribes to put his Name there for his dwelling. To that place you must go; 6 there bring your burnt offerings and sacrifices, your tithes and special gifts, what you have vowed to give and your freewill offerings, and the firstborn of your herds and flocks. 7 There, in the presence of the LORD your God, you and your families shall eat and shall rejoice in everything you have put your hand to, because the LORD your God has blessed you. 8 You are not to do as we do here today, everyone as he sees fit, 9 since you have not yet reached the resting place and the inheritance the LORD your God is giving you. 10 But you will cross the Jordan and settle in the land the LORD your God is giving you as an inheritance, and he will give you rest from all your enemies around you so that you will live in safety. 11 Then to the place the LORD your God will choose as a dwelling for his Name-there you are to bring everything I command you: your burnt offerings and sacrifices, your tithes and special gifts, and all the choice possessions you have vowed to the LORD. 12 And there rejoice before the LORD your God, you, your sons and daughters, your menservants and maid servants, and the Levites from your towns, who have no allotment or inheritance of their own. 13 Be careful not to sacrifice your burnt offerings anywhere you please. 14 Offer them only at the place the LORD will choose in one of your tribes, and there observe everything I command you. 15 Nevertheless, you may slaughter your animals in any of your towns and eat as much of the meat as you want, as if it were gazelle or deer, according to the blessing the LORD your God gives you. Both the ceremonially unclean and the clean may eat it. 16 But you must not eat the blood; pour it out on the ground like water. 17 You must not eat in your own towns the tithe of your grain and new wine and oil, or the firstborn of your herds and flocks, or whatever you have vowed to give, or your freewill offerings or special gifts. 18 Instead, you are to eat them in the presence of the LORD your God at the place the LORD your God will choose-you, your sons and daughters, your menservants and maidservants, and the Levites from your towns-and you are to rejoice before the LORD your God in everything you put your hand to. 19 Be careful not to neglect the Levites as long as you live in your land.
.
Amos 4:4-5 (NIV) 4 “Go to Bethel and sin; go to Gilgal and sin yet more. Bring your sacrifices every morning, your tithes every three years. 5 Burn leavened bread as a thank offering and brag about your freewill offerings- boast about them, you Israelites, for this is what you love to do,” declares the Sovereign LORD.
.
Heb.7:1 For this Melchisidec, King of Salem, priest of the Most High God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings and blessed him; 2 To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all;. . . 4 Now consider how great this man was, unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils.
.
In Genesis chapter 14, Abraham goes out to rescue his nephew Lot, who along with many others has been kidnapped. The kidnappers had ransacked the towns of Sodom and Gomorrah where Lot lived, and were on their way back to their own cities. Abraham took 318 servants with him, (boy was he rich), and rescued Lot’s family. He also took from the kidnappers all the loot they had obtained during their raids. After restoring the personal property of the residents of Sodom, he gave 10% of the loot to Melchisidec. This time, and this time only, are we ever told that Abraham pays tithes to anyone. There is no mention that he went home to round up 10% of the goods he had there, and anyone who could produce his own 318 man army was not poor. We are nowhere told that Abraham ever paid tithes on any of his income again. If Abraham establishes a law for Christians regarding tithing, then if you give away 10% of your next windfall, you have imitated Abraham. The purpose of Hebrews chapter 7 is not to establish a law of tithing, but to show how Jesus Christ was foreshadowed in symbols and figures throughout the Old Testament.(Gen 28:21 KJV)  So that I come again to my father’s house in peace; then shall the LORD be my God:  Jacob said, “Of all that Thou shalt give me, I will surely give the tenth unto Thee” (Gen.28:22).
.
We can presume from these words, that Jacob did, from that point, give the tenth to God: but to whom did he give it? How did he give it to God? There were no “clergymen” around to collect these tithes, and neither was there a Temple to bring them to. Perhaps Jacob gave these tithes to the poor; perhaps they were consumed in offerings by fire, but one thing is for sure: these tithes were not going into someone’s “storehouse”. Note: this was not a command to Jacob from God, but a vow made by Jacob to God. The antiquity of any practice does not make it a law for the Church.
.
Matt. 23: 23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint, and anise, and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ye ought to have done, and not to leave the other undone. 24 Ye blind guides! which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.
.
It is obvious that the Lord Jesus told the Jews, the Pharisees specially  to not neglect paying the obligatory  tithe and next asa  a reflection of His judgment on them: in that they were not of His sheep. It was characteristic of Our Lord Jesus to encourage the self righteous in their works, and even to increase the requirement, so as to show them that they were not made righteous by these works. Let’s look at again the few  New Testament supposedly applicable verses on tithing.
.
(1 Cor 16:2 KJV)  Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come. 3  And when I come, whomsoever ye shall approve by your letters, them will I send to bring your liberality unto Jerusalem.
.
The percentage amount of the individual’s donation firstly is not specified here  though, not even even implied not even  the old testament standard of 10  percent of one’s income or the amount  to be given to the poor persons. Now  why is that?
.
EVEN IN THE NEW TESTAMENT SOME PERSONS LIED  ABOUT THEIR THEIR TITHES, INCOMES
.
(Acts 5:3 KJV)  But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?  4 Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.
.
Coming back to the Old Testament verses also  on tithing..

“There were several types of tithes, according to the source of Israelites’ income: the tithes from the land (seed and fruit) and the tithes from the domestic animals (flock and herd). In other words, God HAD expected His people to set aside one tenth of all increase (income).”(Exo 34:26 KJV)  The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring unto the house of the LORD thy God.(Exo 23:16 KJV)  And the feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field: and the feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field.(Lev 23:10 KJV)  Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest:
.
(Num 28:26 KJV)  Also in the day of the firstfruits, when ye bring a new meat offering unto the LORD, after your weeks be out, ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work:
.
(Deu 26:10 KJV)  And now, behold, I have brought the firstfruits of the land, which thou, O LORD, hast given me. And thou shalt set it before the LORD thy God, and worship before the LORD thy God:
.
(2 Chr 31:5 KJV)  And as soon as the commandment came abroad, the children of Israel brought in abundance the firstfruits of corn, wine, and oil, and honey, and of all the increase of the field; and the tithe of all things brought they in abundantly.
.
(Neh 10:35 KJV)  And to bring the firstfruits of our ground, and the firstfruits of all fruit of all trees, year by year, unto the house of the LORD:
.
(Neh 10:37 KJV)  And that we should bring the firstfruits of our dough, and our offerings, and the fruit of all manner of trees, of wine and of oil, unto the priests, to the chambers of the house of our God; and the tithes of our ground unto the Levites, that the same Levites might have the tithes in all the cities of our tillage.
.
(Prov 3:9 KJV)  Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:
.
(Ezek 20:40 KJV)  For in mine holy mountain, in the mountain of the height of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, there shall all the house of Israel, all of them in the land, serve me: there will I accept them, and there will I require your offerings, and the firstfruits of your oblations, with all your holy things.
.
(Ezek 44:30 KJV)  And the first of all the firstfruits of all things, and every oblation of all, of every sort of your oblations, shall be the priest’s: ye shall also give unto the priest the first of your dough, that he may cause the blessing to rest in thine house. In Reality..
.
“God’s people OF THE OLD TESTAMENT and note this in the book of acts, New Testament too,  practiced Sharing, the Jews practiced  between the Israelites who received their inheritance from God (the land) and with those who did not posses such inheritance – Levites, strangers, orphans, and widows. If we examine the figures, the number of Israelites versus the number of Levites and the percentage that the Israelites were to give to the Levites and the poor (one third of 10%),( about 19% percent of the tithe)  we will find that each would end up with an equal share. This is the principle that was observed in the distribution of manna: one who gathered much had nothing left over and the one who gathered little had no lack.  Sharing was the community coming together with their families/neighbors and sharing in the atmosphere of joy and celebration before the Lord. ”
.
(Lev 27:30 KJV)  And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD’S: it is holy unto the LORD. The tithe always  is God’s not the churches, pastor’s, priests, etc., (Lev 27:32 KJV)  And concerning the tithe of the herd, or of the flock, even of whatsoever passeth under the rod, the tenth shall be holy unto the LORD. (Num 18:26 KJV)  Thus speak unto the Levites, and say unto them, When ye take of the children of Israel the tithes which I have given you from them for your inheritance, then ye shall offer up an heave offering of it for the LORD, even a tenth part of the tithe. (Deu 14:22 KJV)  Thou shalt truly tithe all the increase of thy seed, that the field bringeth forth year by year. (2 Chr 31:5 KJV)  And as soon as the commandment came abroad, the children of Israel brought in abundance the firstfruits of corn, wine, and oil, and honey, and of all the increase of the field; and the tithe of all things brought they in abundantly. (2 Chr 31:6 KJV)  And concerning the children of Israel and Judah, that dwelt in the cities of Judah, they also brought in the tithe of oxen and sheep, and the tithe of holy things which were consecrated unto the LORD their God, and laid them by heaps. (Neh 13:12 KJV)  Then brought all Judah the tithe of the corn and the new wine and the oil unto the treasuries. (Lev 27:31 KJV)  And if a man will at all redeem ought of his tithes, he shall add thereto the fifth part thereof. (Num 18:24 KJV)  But the tithes of the children of Israel, which they offer as an heave offering unto the LORD, I have given to the Levites to inherit: therefore I have said unto them, Among the children of Israel they shall have no inheritance. (Num 18:26 KJV)  Thus speak unto the Levites, and say unto them, When ye take of the children of Israel the tithes which I have given you from them for your inheritance, then ye shall offer up an heave offering of it for the  LORD, even a tenth part of the tithe. (Num 18:28 KJV)  Thus ye also shall offer an heave offering unto the LORD of all your tithes, which ye receive of the children of Israel; and ye shall give thereof the LORD’S heave offering to Aaron the priest. (Deu 12:6 KJV)  And thither ye shall bring your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, and your tithes, and heave offerings of your hand, and your vows, and your freewill offerings, and the firstlings of your herds and of your flocks: (Deu 12:11 KJV)  Then there shall be a place which the LORD your God shall choose to cause his name to dwell there; thither shall ye bring all that I command you; your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, your tithes, and the heave offering of your hand, and all your choice vows which ye vow unto the LORD: (Deu 26:12 KJV)  When thou hast made an end of tithing all the tithes of thine increase the third year, which is the year of tithing, and hast given it unto the Levite, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, that they may eat within thy gates, and be filled; (2 Chr 31:12 KJV)  And brought in the offerings and the tithes and the dedicated things faithfully: over which Cononiah the Levite was ruler, and Shimei his brother was the next. (Neh 10:38 KJV)  And the priest the son of Aaron shall be with the Levites, when the Levites take tithes: and the Levites shall bring up the tithe of the tithes unto the house of our God, to the chambers, into the treasure  house. (Neh 12:44 KJV)  And at that time were some appointed over the chambers for the treasures, for the offerings, for the firstfruits, and for the tithes, to gather into them out of the fields of the cities the portions of the law for the priests and Levites: for Judah rejoiced for the priests and for the Levites that waited. (Neh 13:5 KJV)  And he had prepared for him a great chamber, where aforetime they laid the meat offerings, the frankincense, and the vessels, and the tithes of the corn, the new wine, and the oil, which was commanded to be given to the Levites, and the singers, and the porters; and the offerings of the priests. (Amos 4:4 KJV)  Come to Bethel, and transgress; at Gilgal multiply transgression; and bring your sacrifices every morning, and your tithes after three years: (Mal 3:8 KJV)  Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. 10  Bring ye all ( all )  the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat ( note this food for the workers was the purpose of the tithe) in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

And still  coming back to the Old Testament you are to give all of the tithe to God, all of the tithe, all of  of it belongs to him, and you next gave  1/7 of this tithe to the local poor people, and the balance of the tithe was to go 100 percent to the support of of the Christian workers and their families. Not to any building programs, loans, mortgages..
.
Note this  that  none cent of the tithe,  not one cent  of the tithe, now still  was to go to the temple upkeep, or to the mortgages, building funds.. for there were other specific  offerings to be collected for this..  Is this than also  being practiced by the PAOC today? No! and why not if tithing is applicable today in full?
.
Now some Pentecostal churches do try to even make you sign an   agreement that you will give ten percent of your tithes to their church and they will let you next become a member of their church..   and in my own wittiness some of these PAOC pastors, elders, tithers of these churches committed tax evasions, even stole some of the monies , are and were mostly materialistic oriented and not spiritual too. .
.
Basically enforced tithing, like circumcision,  is an Old testament Law and thus is not really fully enforced in the  New Testament.. for in the New Testament you give to God of yourself, all of it, and next all of your money.. all of it belongs to God and He God spends it the way He God wants.. (1 Cor 16:1 KJV)  Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye.
.
The New Testament city Churches supported the  poor people even  in  the local city church unlike most PAOC Churches today. And now too  many people, pastors, elders do steal from all of God’s money today in reality as I myself have too often witnessed in churches too and thus  they are still thieves.
.
(1 Cor 10:24 KJV)  Let no man seek his own, but every man another’s wealth. and that means caring about their physical well being now as well. (Gal 2:10 KJV)  Only they would that we should remember the poor; the same which I also was forward to do. (Rom 15:25 KJV)  But now I go unto Jerusalem to minister unto the saints. 26 For it hath pleased them of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor saints which are at Jerusalem. 27 It hath pleased them verily; and their debtors they are. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister unto them in carnal things. (Isa 58:6 KJV)  Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke? 7  Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh? (Dan 4:27 KJV)  Wherefore, O king, let my counsel be acceptable unto thee, and break off thy sins by righteousness, and thine iniquities by showing mercy to the poor; if it may be a lengthening of thy tranquillity. (Mat 10:42 KJV)  And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward. (Mat 25:37 KJV)  Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? 38  When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? 39  Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? 40  And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. (Mat 5:19 KJV)  Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
.
Here AGAIN are a few basic facts, truths from the Bible that need also to be considered. The “tithe” itself  is reserved for certain functions, persons now as well.. and no man can still  force any one to tithe. The message of Jesus is that God is not in need of money but of a humble, sacrificial spirit.
.
(Mat 17:24 KJV)  And when they were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to Peter, and said, Doth not your master pay tribute? 25 He saith, Yes. And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of strangers? 26  Peter saith unto him, Of strangers. Jesus saith unto him, Then are the children free. Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power?  Acts 5:4 (2 Cor 9:7 KJV)  Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. 8  And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: 8 (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his  righteousness remaineth for ever.`10   Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)
.
Furthermore only the persons who did not own any land, a house  the Old Testament Levites, the poor enjoyed the benefits of the third year  tithes Numbers 18:20 (NIV) 20 The LORD said to Aaron, “You will have no inheritance in their land, nor will you have any share among them; I am your share and your inheritance among the Israelites
.
At least up to 19 % of the Biblical tithe was to be given directly to the local poor persons
.
Deuteronomy 26:12-15 (NIV) 12 When you have finished setting aside a tenth of all your produce in the third year, the year of the tithe, you shall give it to the Levite, the alien, the fatherless and the widow, so that they may eat in your towns and be satisfiedDeuteronomy 14: 27 And do not neglect the Levites  living in your towns, for they have no allotment or inheritance of their own.28 At the end of every three years, bring all the tithes of that year’s produce and store it in your towns, 29 so that the Levites (who have no allotment or inheritance of their own) and the aliens, the fatherless and the widows who live in your towns may come and eat and be satisfied, and so that the LORD your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.10 percent of  tithe only was paid directly to the storehouse and only every 3rd year?
.
Neh. 10:37-38 “.to bring the firstfruits. and to bring the tithes of our land to the Levites, for the Levites should receive the tithes in all our farming communities. And the priest, the descendant of Aaron, shall be with the Levites when the Levites receive tithes; and the Levites shall bring up a tenth of the tithes to the house of our God, to the rooms of the storehouse.”and the other two years the tither and his family enjoyed the tithes  by even feasting on it.The people of Israel were required to assemble three times a year at Jerusalem (as the place chosen by the Lord) for the major feasts.(Deu 12:17 KJV)  Thou mayest not eat within thy gates the tithe of thy corn, or of thy wine, or of thy oil, or the firstlings of thy herds or of thy flock, nor any of thy vows which thou vowest, nor thy freewill offerings, or heave offering of thine hand: (Deu 14:23 KJV)  And thou shalt eat before the LORD thy God, in the place which he shall choose to place his name there, the tithe of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the firstlings of thy herds and of thy flocks; that thou mayest learn to fear the LORD thy God  always. The Israelite was not commanded to tithe on everything he obtained and used throughout the year, but only on his increase at the end of the year. ( The increase minus his actual expenditures during the year, or the final year  end profit?)Deut.14:22 Thou shalt truly tithe all the increase of thy seed, that the field bringeth forth year by year.”Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this,” says the Lord of hosts, “if I will not open for you the windows of heaven, and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows” (Malachi 3:10).There were four tithes in Israel under the Old Covenant. Which one is referred to here? And the priest, the son of Aaron, shall be with the Levites when the Levites receive tithes, and the Levites shall bring up the tenth of the tithes to the house of our God, to the chambers of the storehouse (Nehemiah 10:38).The Mosaic Law of Tithing was never 10% of everything you get. The Temple (now considered to be the church-house) did not receive all of the tithes that were given by the Israelites.Tithing was neither commanded nor fully observed in the early church.Tithing as a covenant of prosperity is effective only for those who seek to be justified by keeping all of  the Law which is not possible anyway. Those who demand 10% of everything you get, are identified with the Scribes and the Pharisees, who were still the historic enemies of Christ.
.
(Heb 13:5 KJV)  Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.6  So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
.
(Mark 9:41 KJV)  For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward.
.
Please ALSO do not get any false impression that I am against voluntary tithing to the Lord Jesus Christ, or voluntary giving to the Lord Jesus Christ, AND to the poor persons.
.
I am against THE THIEVES WHO STEAL TITHING UNDER FALSE PRETENCES, FALSE PREACHING, or those persons trying to earn, buy their way into heaven, and also  thier now giving on the too often false man defined  mandates that the still mostly false pastors themselves do define it.. and

The fact that at least 60 percent of the evangelical pastors I have dealt with are very inadequate, even rather mere hirelings who lie, slander, abuse others, gossip,  cheat, steal, commit tax evasions, tolerate divorce wrongfully etc, and do not really follow after the Lord.
.
We need to have a better biblical  account of how the Lord’s money is spent.(Rom 15:1 KJV)  We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.(1 Cor 16:22 KJV)  If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha.(Mat 7:16 KJV)  Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
.
(Mat 7:20 KJV)  Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
.
Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God. Phil. 1:11
.
I know for a fact also that  Robbing God of his tithes, misappropriating them and denying the poor their portion of the tithes devastates a church as well.
.
(Luke 19:46 KJV)  Saying unto them, It is written, My house is the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves.
.
The perverse prosperity prostitutes, adulterers abound even in PAOC churches. It has been my too many years of personal experiences that the perverse prosperity prostitutes, adulterers, idolterers persons, who mainly  tithe to get richer and not rather to help the poor persons,  for they do  generally as well despise the poor and needy persons, covet to be rich they can be found in both the secular and religious camps, and their behaviors tend to be very similar. Even the religious persons, the rather still carnal persons, the Judas followers,  while they now even do profess to be moral good living persons  still when it comes to making more money they clearly bend their rules on morality, ethics, honesty, and they will even cheat, lie steal to acquire more wealth. they mainly still also do see other people as slave objects, slaves that can be used to help them increase their personal acquisitions and they will cast out, sell out their poor  relatives, relationships still too..  but they still will even profess to be good persons now too. and try to by their way into heaven.
.
(Mat 25:34 KJV)   Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35  For I was an hungered, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: 36  Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. 37  Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? 38  When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? 39  Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? 40  And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. 41  Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: 42  For I was an hungered, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: 43  I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. 46  And these shall go away into everlasting punishment:
.
(James 2:1 KJV)  My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons. 2  For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment; 3  And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool: 4  Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts? 5  Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him? 6  But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats? 7  Do not they blaspheme that worthy name by the which ye are called? 8  If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well: 9  But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors. 10  For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. 11  For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.
.
(1 Tim 5:8 KJV)  But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.
.
(1 John 1:9 KJV)  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
.
(Jer 2:20 KJV)  For of old time I have broken thy yoke, and burst thy bands; and thou saidst, I will not transgress; when upon every high hill and under every green tree thou wanderest, playing the harlot.
.
(Prov 29:14 KJV)  The king that faithfully judgeth the poor, his throne shall be established for ever.
.
The twisting of scriptures, taking isolated verses to justify immoral acts is so common these days even in the conservative evangelical . PAOC circles so that it is not even funny anymore.
.
A BAD PASTORAL BOARD, COUNSEL OR A BAD BOARD, COMMITTEE OF THIEVES? WHOSE TAX EXEMPTION PRIVILEGES CLEARLY RATHER SHOULD BE TAKEN AWAY, THE PAOC INCLUDED.
.
For example : A clearly greedy, misery, cheap, evangelical writer was wrongfully trying to justify his not giving of his income to any others, the poor people with the isolated Bible verses.. (Exo 20:17 KJV)  Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour’s. OR (Acts 5:4 KJV)  Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power?
.
AND he had falsely neglected the other verses of the bible that said to give to the poor and needy persons.  So I prayed and I asked God directly what he thought of it .. and he immediately replied to me.. (Luke 6:38 KJV)  Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.(Mat 19:21 KJV)  Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
.
(Luke 19:8 KJV)  And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken anything from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold.
.
(Deu 15:11 KJV)  For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land.
.
(3 John 1:2 KJV)  Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. 3  For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth. 4  I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth. 5  Beloved, thou doest faithfully whatsoever thou doest to the brethren, and to strangers;  6 Which have borne witness of thy charity before the church:
.
(1 John 2:10 KJV)  He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.
.
(Gal 5:16 KJV)  This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh 17   For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
.
(1 John 2:16 KJV)  For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17   And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
.
(Phil 4:11 KJV)  Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. 12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. 13   I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. 14  Notwithstanding ye have well done, that ye did communicate with my affliction.
.
(1 Tim 6:9 KJV)  But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. 10  For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 11   But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. 12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
.
(Deu 24:14 KJV)  Thou shalt not oppress an hired servant that is poor and needy, whether he be of thy brethren, or of thy strangers that are in thy land within thy gates: 15 At his day thou shalt give him his hire, neither shall the sun go down upon it; for he is poor, and setteth his heart upon it: lest he cry against thee unto the LORD, and it be sin unto thee.
.
(Rom 13:9 KJV)  For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
.
(1 Tim 6:8 KJV)  And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
.
(Heb 13:5 KJV)  Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
.
(Mat 6:19 KJV)  19  Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: 20  But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 21  For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. 22  The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.  23  But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! 24  No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. 25  Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? 26  Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? 27  Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? 28  And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: 29  And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30  Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? 31  Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32  (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33  But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 34  Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
.
(John 15:5 KJV)  I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. 6  If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
.
One of the most quoted verses for blessing, prosperity of the New Testament is also too often taken out of it’s context..
.
And the New testament content too is any financial blessing we get is to help our Christian brothers and sisters financially as well.. not solely indulging in ourselves too
.
(Deu 26:9 KJV)  And he hath brought us into this place, and hath given us this land, even a land that floweth with milk and honey. 10 And now, behold, I have brought the firstfruits of the land, which thou, O LORD, hast given me. And thou shalt set it before the LORD thy God, and worship before the LORD thy God: 11 And thou shalt rejoice in every good thing which the LORD thy God hath given unto thee, and unto thine house, thou, and the Levite, and the stranger that is among you.
.
2 Corinthians 9 7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

THERE IS ONLY ONE BIBLE, ONE FAITH FOR PERSONAL SALVATION , ONE FAITH  IN JESUS CHRIST ALONE, AND ONE BODY OF CHRIST, ONE GOD, AND ONE TEMPLE,  IT IS THE TRUE CHURCH OF JESUS THE CHRIST.
.
(Gen 28:21-22 KJV)  So that I come again to my father’s house in peace; then shall the LORD be my God:  Jacob said, “Of all that Thou shalt give me, I will surely give the tenth unto Thee”    FIRSTLY WAS A FREE WILL CHOICE..I also rightfully still do not endorse any Christians adds, anyone, any person, any organization, any Church  now trying to make any money from  selling the gospel, any of  Bibles, books, tapes listed   for sale too or begging, asking for money .  . Jesus said as we have freely received so we are freely to give. Hirelings in their greed and visible lack of faith don’t do that. I do believe we should all live by faith in God to supply our needs, and to have the faith for God to supply  it.  The Honorable Rev George Muellar did.
.
I have absolutely no doubt that many Canadian evangelical pastors included now are falsely lying, unacceptably misrepresenting the Biblical truth,  pressurizing, twisting the arms of members and adherents  to regularly tithe to their storehouse, to the Pastor’s benefit, so the pastor can live high on the hog now.
.
(1 Thess 2:2 KJV)  But even after that we had suffered before, and were shamefully entreated, as ye know, at Philippi, we were bold in our God to speak unto you the gospel of God with much contention. 3  For our exhortation was not of deceit, nor of uncleanness, nor in guile: 4  But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts. 5  For neither at any time used we flattering words, as ye know, nor a cloak of covetousness; God is witness: 6  Nor of men sought we glory, neither of you, nor yet of others, when we might have been burdensome, as the apostles of Christ. 7  But we were gentle among you, even as a nurse cherisheth her children:
.
Too often now the preacher still wrongfully tells the flock  he’s their sole, responsible spiritual daddy and thus he always does knows what’s best for them, so now  also they would  better not take their full freedom in Christ too seriously and next try to do anything without consulting, obeying the preacher in all things too..
.
It is still not the preacher who is the head of the Church, Jesus Christ alone is, and it is still the Holy Spirit himself  who will lead and guide you into all truth.. for the preacher job rather firstly is to lead us to God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit.
.
When expounding the truth, the Bible the bad preacher often wears colored glasses it seems that say “What’s in it for me”, says the preacher too?So long as the preacher wears a nice suit, no matter how or how much he paid for his suit he is a good preacher it seemsMany Preachers do seem count  on your ignorance of the Word of God  as they often do also try  convince you you’re way too dumb to argue with them, for  God has spoken to them directly on the matter, and if you challenge them they tend to ignore you or kick you out..
.
(1 Cor 11:3 KJV)  But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
.
(Eph 4:15 KJV)  But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
.
(Eph 5:23 KJV)  For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
.
(John 14:16 KJV)  And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
.
(John 14:26 KJV)  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
.
(John 15:26 KJV)  But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

God’s package through Jesus is very comprehensive.. it includes personal salvation, eternal life, full forgiveness of sins, the baptism of the Holy Spirit, healing too.. why do so many people only want to accept a part of it now too? So many people also do want to be made whole, well, but they do not want Jesus as their Lord in their life.. sorry that is not possible.. Jesus is the whole life, he is also the essential, only part of the whole healing. Jesus not only heals gradually, even by Doctors but also fully miraculously even today. Jesus can always do what Doctors cannot.

.

Is it True or false?

Acts 20: 29-31 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.  Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.  Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one day and night with tears.

II Peter 2:1: But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily (in a sneaky way) shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. 2  And many shall follow their pernicious ways (lascivious ways, as it reads in the margin); by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. 3  And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment of a long time slumbereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

(1 Cor 11:22 KJV)  What? have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the church of God, and shame them that have not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise you not.   (James 2:6 KJV)  But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats?

I Samuel 15:22: Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.  For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry.  Because thou hast rejected the Word of the Lord, he hath also rejected thee from being king

and where are  Jim Baker and Jimmy Swaggart and some of the others these days?

(Gal 2:10 KJV)  Only they would that we should remember the poor; the same which I also was forward to do. I John 3:18 exhorts us to love not just in word, but in deed and in truth.  Note –  Acts 4:35  “And laid them down at the apostles’ feet.  And distribution was made to every man according as he had need.” (The money was collected to support  the needy in the church and the   “tithing” occurs nowhere in this context!) Acts 5:4 “Whiles it remained, was it not thine OWN?  and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? THOU HAST NOT LIED UNTO MEN, BUT UNTO GOD. Acts 5:8  And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much.”  Now why is it so many preachers are not afraid of the lies they make to others, God that they make collecting the tithes, monies  today too?  Acts 20:27: “For I have not shunned to declare unto you ALL the counsel of God.” ” If monetary tithing had been in force in the early church Paul would surely have mentioned it.  Monetary tithing was not enforced in the Church until the sixth century A.D., when it was made church law  by two Catholic Church councils in Europe. ”   http://banpreachergreed.tripod.com/id1.html

Take specifically the case of Ananias and Sapphira.  Exactly what specific sin could the couple have committed that was so bad that next God would strike them dead for it?  Now  their sin even firstly had firstly NOTHING to do with stealing any of monetary tithing.  Their death didn’t even happen as punishment for being stingy with their freewill offerings or maybe failing to tithe but it was the clear sin now of “lying” to God firstly about the amount of their OWN money  supposedly donated and  not at all about any money they had owed to the church.  Ananias and his wife had  wanted a false credit for giving an amount he didn’t actually give. Like many people who make false church tax donations claims even today. Ananias and Sapphira were the equivalent of welfare cheats, in that they wanted to live off the church funds and still have something hidden away for personal use. Here were two wayward professing Christian sheep trying to pull the wool over God’s eyes, but they didn’t live to brag about it .

“How many “faith” preachers in our day hoard vast riches for themselves while crying to  “seed sowers” EVEN THOSE on Social Security  to send in money or they’ll go bust! ”  “How many of these evil religious, TITHE, donations peddlers shamelessly appeal to the story of Elijah being fed by the last of a starving widow’s flour and oil so they can put more bread in their bank account and fuel their own lusts! done all the while deliberately withholding  part of the Truth of His Word from the Body of Christ to leech off of poor brethren so they themselves can splash around in the lap of luxury!   ” Some of ye are sick and nigh unto death cause ye do approach the Lord’s table unworthily.

(1 Cor 11:27 KJV)  Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.  28    But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. 29  For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. 30   For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. 31  For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. 32   But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.

(1 Cor 10:21 KJV)  Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils. (1 Cor 6:2 KJV)  Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?   (Luke 16:11 KJV)  If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? (Luke 16:13 KJV)  No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. (Mat 6:25 KJV)  Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?  (Mat 6:31 KJV)  Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33   But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Reminds me of a women that I know with 3 kids, who had asked the  local church for social aid, so next they gave her 7,500 dollars , while she did not declare to them still that she had 25,000 dollars  in government bonds in a safe that she was saving for a rainy day.

Or the lying pastor that I knew too from Calgary Bearspaw House of faith  who tells everyone that he lived solely by faith in God to supply all of his finical needs neglecting to tell them he also has a church salary, and an expenditure budget. Ironically he simultaneously was even accused of falsifying and misappropriating  the expenditures and was eventually dismissed form the church for this too.

The age of grace did not cause God to overlook these unrepentant sins.

“Tithing Truth in a Nutshell

1. Unqualified religious leaders (Gentiles) should not take up tithes.

2. God’s tithe NEVER consisted of money!

3. NOWHERE in either Testament are Christians commanded to pay monetary tithes.

4. Tithes consisted only of agricultural produce.

5. Biblical tithes were also sometimes EATEN by the worshipper himself!

Deuteronomy 14: 22-27  deals with the Festival Tithe, one of three tithes paid by the laity of Israel.  I’ve been a believer for many, many years, and NOT ONCE have I ever heard this Scripture passage expounded on by any tithe-taking preacher.  I wonder why!

Verse 22 Thou shalt truly tithe all the increase (harvest) of thy seed, that the field bringeth forth year by year.

Verse 23 And thou (the tithe-payer!) shalt EAT before the LORD thy God, in the place which He shall chose to place His name there, the tithe of thy  corn, of thy wine, and of thy olive oil, and of the firstlings of thy herds and of thy flocks; that thou mayest learn to fear the LORD thy God always.  Tithes were EDIBLE things! Pottery makers and sandal makers didn’t tithe on their products. Unless you raised crops or livestock, you didn’t owe any tithes.

Verse 24 introduces the only context in the whole Bible where money is mentioned in conjunction with tithing!  And if the way be too long for thee, so that thou art not able to carry it; or if the place be too far from thee, which the Lord thy God shall choose to set His Name there, when the Lord thy God hath blessed thee;

Verse 25 Then thou shalt turn it into money, and bind up the money in thine hand, and shalt go unto the place which the Lord thy God shalt choose:

Verse 26 And thou shalt bestow that money for whatsoever thy soul lusteth after; for oxen, or for sheep,  or for wine, or for strong drink, or for whatsoever thy soul desireth: and THOU SHALT EAT  there before the Lord thy God, and thou shalt rejoice, thou and thy household,

Verse 27  And the Levite that is within thy gates; thou shalt not forsake him; for he hath no part nor inheritance with thee (in the Promised Land).

Numbers 18:21-24 says makes it plain that only the  sons of Levi were ever authorized by God to collect tithes, and only from the children of Israel. No other tribes of Israel were ever  supposed to collect tithes, and the Levitical priesthood ended in 70 A.D. when the Temple was destroyed

Old Testament tithes were never used for building projects, so why is that being done today?

Nowhere in Scripture is any Christian authorized to request the tithe.

Even Jesus did not finance His own ministry with tithes. If He had, He never would have had to say: The Son of Man hath nowhere to lay His head (Matt.8:20).

In Malachi  the purpose of the tithe was to keep FOOD, NOT MONEY, in God’s House (Malachi 3:10). Why?   The Levites (priestly tribe of Israel) were denied an inheritance (of real estate) in the Promised Land. The tithe was their compensation for this, and their reward for their Tabernacle service (Numbers 18:21-24).  Still other tithes were set aside to be  consumed by worshippers and the poor at their yearly festivals (Deut.12:17-18; 14:22-27)  . Every third year, a special tithe was stored up for the poor within the city gates (Deut.14:28-29).

Tithing was done six years out of every seven.  Every seventh year the Land was to lie fallow, to give the land a rest (Lev.25:1-4). No tithes would be collected that year at all.   Have you ever heard of any present churchgoer getting a rest every  seventh year from paying tithes?

Church Practices

EARLY CHURCH

MODERN CHURCH
Financial Contributions Free will offerings collected for the needy only, no tithing (2 Cor.9:7).  Members met in private homes (Rom.16:5; I Cor.16:19; Col.4:15) Tithing aggressively taught.  Non-tithers shamed.  Money provides pastor’s perks, building fund, landscaping, exciting programs, etc.
Pastoral support Freewill giving, leadership sometimes worked on side (2 Cor.11:9; I Thes.2:9) Leadership supported mainly through tithes, often live lavishly.
Church Authority Elders taught and led by example, but all related to one another as brethren (Matt.23:8; I Pet.5:3).  Only ONE Lord (Eph.4:5). Heirarchy of MANY lords run the institutional church, from senior pastor all the way down to the deacon.
Giving & Receiving EQUALITY of well-being preached by Paul (2 Cor.8:13-15).  All to have the same care one for another (I Cor.12:25). Poor parishioners support rich clergy.  Pastors drive fancy cars, take exciting holidays, and never stop begging for more.
Fellowship DAILY they fellowshipped and broke bread from house to house.  Christians shared possessions and looked after everyone’s well-being. (Acts 2:42-47) Churches divide into little cliques which some can’t fit into.  Lonely folks leave  church.  People say “hello” once a week and that’s it.  Occasional potluck meals, concerts, etc.
Church Ministry EVERYONE had something to contribute to service (I Cor.14:26; Eph.4:16).  No mention of pulpits, pews, etc.  The word “congregation” appears only in Old Testament, except for a gathering of Jews in Acts 13:43.  Clergy-laity divide didn’t exist in early church. “Pew saints” only pray, pay and obey. Ministry done mostly by pastor, visiting speakers and “song leaders”.  Congregation are mostly spectators. Even some Charismatic churches discourage spiritual gifts out of fear of offending visitors.
Evangelization Repentance toward God and faith toward Christ taught (Acts 20:21).  Preaching done in demonstration of the Spirit and in power (I Cor.2:4-5). Real faith bore witness  of Christ (Rom.1:8) Unconditional love of God preached, without mentioning “the wages of sin is death” (Rom.6:23). Free concerts for sinners. Positive messages only. Hell and God’s wrath against sin are taboo. Powerless sermons, keys to prosperity, self-help videos, slick marketing.

http://banpreachergreed.tripod.com/id57.html

It still is a a lack of living by faith and  a grave sin of covetness for all pastors to  distort, hold back part of God’s Truth from the church to protect, insure  their own financial income. All sorts of real sinners now had inhabited Jesus’ world  2000 years ago.  Harlots, thieves, tax collectors, even murderous brigands like Barabbas. But still now about the only sinners Jesus ever  chewed out in the Gospels were the self-righteous Pharisees, who devoured widows’ houses and turned their converts into twice the son of hell as themselves (Matt: 23:14-15).  That now includes those false preachers of today who would say that only if you tithe especially to the local pastor’s storehouse you are spiritual.

”  Making Merchandise of the Unpardonable Sin Ezekiel 13:22;  Acts 20:27-30

Desperate ministers of deceit are like bloodsuckers who try to squeeze the last drop dry from anemic sheep, the way they change their tactics from bad to worse as they sense the winds of change in My beleaguered body.  In time of abundance fishers for funds siphon off a little of the extra fat from well-to-do contributors and even urge poorer saints to be willing to tighten their belts and do without a few luxuries, supposedly for the sake of the “Kingdom of God.” They would dangle a glittery prosperity carrot before the bedazzled eyes of My people, promising that they would be repaid for their generosity on a ratio of a hundred to one. Scriptures would be jerked out of their context to prove I was the ultimate investment, and “you can’t get better odds in Vegas.”

What garbagey theology!  The promises I made to those who sow seeds into the Kingdom of God meant that a great harvest of souls would be reaped into My eternal Kingdom, and the good works of My Spirit of Grace would be spread abroad to bless many unto a newness of life.  As for those who are hardened in heart and love riches more than Me, their dirty money perish with them!  Now that times are harder for so many, they are switching from the carrot approach to the stick approach, both diabolical perversions of My Word.  Some are filling My children’s hearts with fear that I will execute them like Ananias and Sapphira if they withhold donations from their so-called ministries or refuse to tithe on money, which is nowhere commanded in My Word. Most of those deceivers know that robbing My people of their sustenance is a doctrine of devils!  Saints whom I have chosen to enter into My perfect rest of peace have been troubled and I shall surely trouble those who sow lies into their hearts, saith the Lord. Those greedy deceivers who make the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad, I shall make sad in return.  That is the only return they will get on their investment of lies. They shall surely have their day in the Court of Heaven to answer for what they have done to hurt and rob My Body.

Satan instills lying guilt feelings in millions of My children today because they are unable to give massive amounts of money to religious organizations.  Some are told that it is a sin against the Holy Ghost to be stingy in their contributions and they won’t get to heaven unless they open their wallets more.  Unfounded fear of being guilty of the unpardonable sin has ruined the peace and the health of so many of My children.  But the unpardonable sin has nothing to do with money!  It is a sin against the Love of God which is committed by attributing the wonderful works of My Spirit of Grace to the devil, or speaking slanderous words against My Holy Spirit, which brings eternal alienation from the only One Who can perform the marvelous work of redemption down in your inward parts.

The sin committed by Ananias and Sapphira was to lie to My Holy Spirit, not to refuse to fork over ten percent of their wages to bogus ministries.  If this couple had admitted to Peter that they lacked the faith to give all the price of the land and so were only giving part of the money to the church, they would have been spared judgment because they would not have been lying to the apostles. They were not even required to sell their land in the first place, for Peter said unto the couple, “While the land remained, was it not thine own? And after it was sold, was the money not in thine power?”  Ananias and Sapphira had the right to either keep their land or sell it, and after they sold it they even had the right to keep the money or just donate part of it.  But these deceivers wanted to gain credit for giving a bigger donation than they actually did, in order to live off the church common fund and hold something back for a rainy day.  But their rainy day came sooner than they expected, saith the Lord, because you cannot deceive Me.  I who weigh the thoughts and intents of the soul know what that two were conspiring against Me, to rob My people.

So who is robbing My people today; poor saints who withhold part of their paycheck from greedy ministers of darkness, or learned religious experts who withhold that part of the Truth of My Word which they find unprofitable, and then boldly declare unto My Church: “I have faithfully declared unto you ALL the counsel of God.”  Instead, they sell My people a pack of lies.

Most of the wolves in sheep’s clothing who try to scare My people with the story of Ananias and Sapphira KNOW that the real issue in it was lying to the Holy Spirit, not non-tithing or refusing to give a required donation.  But these same false ministers know their Bible inside out and yet they sit on truths I would share with My people which would liberate them from the bondage of fear.  These evil men and women take advantage of My people’s ignorance of scripture to pry “tithes” out of them, and to maximize their ministry income so they can live luxuriously like the parasites they are.  So who is really guilty, saith the Lord? Those who honestly cannot afford big contributions and don’t give unless I direct them to, or lying deceivers who hold back non-lucrative portions of My Word from their flocks?  Poor, destitute saints who hold back part of the amount these mooches want find out in a hurry that it makes these men mean enough to breathe threats at them from the pulpit and over the air. They just can’t stand to have their luxurious lifestyle cramped by the poverty of their listeners. And so these men withhold truths unprofitable to their banks accounts; scriptural truths of the Gospel of Grace which expose the darkness and folly of the lies of the Gospel of Greed.  Liberating truths are suppressed which would profit My Body and set them free from the lies which fill them with fear.

I will surely go from place to place, saith the Lord, and I shall cut the leeches off My Body.  And I shall surely cut the fetters off My people so they can walk in the liberty unto which I have called them.  ”  http://banpreachergreed.tripod.com/id1.html

“Acts Chapter 15 tells of a great theological dispute among early church leaders. Were non-Jewish believers obligated to keep the Law of Moses in order to earn and keep their salvation?  None other than the Apostle Peter says that if the Old Law was hard for Jews to bear, why should Gentile believers, who were already justified by faith, have that burdensome yoke placed on them?

The apostles reached a sensible decision.  Only four restrictions would be placed upon the  liberty of the Gentile believers:

   To refrain from:

     1. Foods offered to Idols
     2. Fornication
     3. Meat from strangled animals
     4. The consumption of blood

Those original builders of the Church believed that if just those four things were observed, God could surely take care of the rest. Conspicuous by its absence is the Law of Tithing.”
http://banpreachergreed.tripod.com/id11.html

(Luke 14:26 KJV)  If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.

(Luke 14:33 KJV)  So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.

Just like today in social aid, the people receiving social  aid they now cannot own major tangible property, real estate, so any of   the people, priests  receiving the old testament tithes they also could not own any major tangible, real estate  properties.. but today the false priest, pastors who are demanding on receiving tithes they falsely also do want to still own a home… to enjoy the monetary rewards of both.. they are still equivalent of welfare cheats!!!!

“Preachers are committing this sin by adding Tithing on Wages, NOWHERE taught even under the Old Law!  Preachers latch onto the ten per cent figure because it seems like a good idea, regardless of what God thinks.  But they neglect the Israelites’ third-year tithe taken to feed the poor

(Deut.14:28-29).  When was the last time any preacher ever told you to go buy a six-pack of Bud with some of your tithe money?  Why all the fuss over one or two isolated and misapplied verses in Malachi 3?  Why don’t preachers ever mention THIS tithing passage?  It’s in the Bible!  I didn’t put it there, so don’t blame ME!

Deut. 14:22 Thou shalt truly tithe all the increase of thy seed, that the field bringeth forth year by year.
Verse 23: And thou shalt eat before the LORD thy God, in the place which he shall choose to place his name there, the tithe of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the firstlings of thy herds and of thy flocks; that thou mayest learn to fear the LORD thy God always.
Verse 24: And if the way be too long for thee, so that thou art not able to carry it; or if the place be too far from thee, which the LORD thy God shall choose to set his name there, when the LORD thy God hath blessed thee:
Verse 25: Then shalt thou turn it into money, and bind up the money in thine hand, and shalt go unto the place which the LORD thy God shall choose:
Verse 26: AND THOU SHALT BESTOW THAT MONEY FOR WHATSOEVER THY SOUL LUSTETH AFTER, FOR OXEN, OR FOR SHEEP, OR FOR WINE, OR FOR STRONG DRINK, OR FOR WHATSOEVER THY SOUL DESIRETH: and thou shalt eat there before the LORD thy God, and thou shalt rejoice, thou, and thine household

Notice, tithed produce was sometimes turned into money (the ONLY context in which money is associated with tithing in Scripture), but money itself was not turned in as the tithe!  Instead, the tithing farmer or rancher only bought more food with it when he got to Jerusalem, some of which he consumed himself! Tithe-collecting preachers not only ADD TO what God commanded in His Word, they DIMINISH (take away) from God’s Word by forbidding us to go out and buy Bacardi Breezers with “tithe money”.  Old sluefoot is thrilled when money-hungry preachers tamper with the terms and conditions of God’s Law, because in Revelation 22:19 God promised to disinherit those who added to or subtracted from Scripture. When preachers say you can’t buy wine or strong drink with “tithe money” they’re actually taking away from Scripture!

Through the Tithing Lie, satan has created a class system of cliques in what originally was a church knit together in the love of Christ, sharing and caring one for another AS EQUALS (Acts 4:34-37; 2 Cor.8:13-14). Those ancient Christians actually shared their possessions with one another. I can just hear some pious preacher yelling that today that means only SPIRITUAL possessions, and hands off HIS Ferrari coupe!

Besides robbing god’s people of their blood-bought freedom from the Law, what OTHER victories does satan win through tithing on monetary wages, which is NOWHERE taught in all of scripture?   http://www.scribd.com/doc/4617708/Fasting-Tithing-Blessing-Bringers-or-Burdens

Too often now the preacher still wrongfully tells the flock  he’s their sole, responsible spiritual daddy and thus he always does knows what’s best for them, so now  also they would  better not take their full freedom in Christ too seriously and next try to do anything without consulting, obeying the preacher in all things too..

It is still not the preacher who is the head of the Church, Jesus Christ alone is, and it is still the Holy Spirit himself  who will lead and guide you into all truth.. for the preacher job rather firstly is to lead us to God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit.

When expounding the truth, the Bible the bad preacher often wears colored glasses it seems that say “What’s in it for me”, says the preacher too?

So long as the preacher wears a nice suit, no matter how or how much he paid for his suit he is a good preacher it seems

Many Preachers do seem count  on your ignorance of the Word of God  as they often do also try  convince you you’re way too dumb to argue with them, for  God has spoken to them directly on the matter, and if you challenge them they tend to ignore you or kick you out..

(1 Cor 11:3 KJV)  But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

(Eph 4:15 KJV)  But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

(Eph 5:23 KJV)  For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

(John 14:16 KJV)  And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

(John 14:26 KJV)  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

(John 15:26 KJV)  But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

While God does not command mandatory tithing in the New Testament, I might expect that God will bless some of the people who voluntarily tithe, give ten percent of all their income to God, in the place God specially now tells them to give too,  for God diligently rewards those who put their trust in Him, obeys and follows his revealed will to them, but for  sure God does not bless all of the tithers, for it depends on the initial reasons as to why they do tithe, which too often they can still be wrong reasons, selfish, self centered reasons like seeking self prosperity, financial security or showing off, boasting. For a true godly Christian believer is already  promised now personal security in God, and all of their needs, not wants and desires , to be meet..

No matter what the goal is, or how valueable it maybe,  leading others to Christ included, the ends do not justify the means by anyone, pastors, elders, deacons, others , and cheating, lying, stealing included now.. How you get there is as important as where you are going. Asked also now Moses and all the people of Israel who missed the promised Land cause they had simply refused to do it God’s way.

(Mat 5:19 KJV)  Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

The nomination of Republican vice President Sarah Palin had certainly sparked interest

Some persons wrongly try to advocate that Pentecostalism is a modern day religion that now is found solely in the United States originally whereas others do rightfully maintain rather it  is a revived New Testament form of Biblical Christianity. It is now a major world wide Charismatic branch of Christianity

There are various brands of Pentecostalism today but they all mostly tend to believe in similar aspects of their version of Christianity but not all. There is clearly one  false sect in this grouping now too.
The nomination of Republican vice President Sarah Plain has certainly sparked  interest world wide into the Pentecostal religion, and now many persons world wide as well as in the Americas do seek, do want to know seriously what is difference basically  about this Christian religion from the other existing differing Christian religions.

The Christians now already  all supposedly believe in Jesus Christ as firstly being God, Jesus also being the promised Old testament Messiah as well, they the Christians they do all tend to believe in the existence also of the Holy Trinity too ,  where the personal Sprit of Christ, the Holy Spirit is also manifested as a separate personal entity who  carries  on the work of Jesus Christ ongoing in the genuine  Christian Believer’s personal life. It is estimated that only 30 percent of all Christian believers are genuine, actually practicing Christians  in the various Christian churches

And  all Christians tend to generally believe in the same Bible, the Old and New Testament  as being now the true revealed word of God to us all even about Jesus, the apostles, and the Christian church as well.

The Pentecostals tend to separately now believe that God speaks continually to each Christian  believer now as well personally, even outside of the Word of God, the Bible, by means of the Holy Spirit, and the Pentecostals tend to believe in the separate personal need of receiving the anointing, the Baptism of the  Holy spirit personally in one’s life , this now is clearly a separate experience from the experience of receiving one’s initial personal salvation, eternal life by faith in the innocent, sacrificial, shed blood of Jesus Christ.

The majority of the Pentecostals tend to believe in manifesting one of the the Charismatic gifts of the Holy spirit, often tongues , as evidence of now being personally baptized with the Holy spirit. .

They the Pentecostals do tend to  believe in the manifestations of the charismatic’s gifts of the Holy Spirit as being applicable today as well, whereas other Pentecostal limit it to solely speaking in tongues, and Pentecostals often do personally practice praying for personal, physical healing, even by the laying of hands on others, as well as the ministry of casting out demons out of individuals too.

Needless to say there are different versions by non Pentecostals about what a Pentecostal now are even, some lying and distorted too, depending on who you talk to as well.
The Pentecostals also do tend to believe in the local church being run by elders, apostles, prophets, bishops and not rather by a single one man ministry of a local Pastor.

Trinity, Tithing is mandatory in some Pentecostal churches and in other it is not.

The Holy Spirit of God is the Spirit of God, fully divine.” That means that in every way He is equal with God the Father and God the Son. He possesses their attributes and character. He is omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent and holy. He is eternal, immutable, righteous, just and loving. And, as the third person of the Holy Trinity, He is a person. When Jesus speaks of the Holy Spirit, say in John 14:26 for example He uses the masculine personal pronoun when He says, “But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit – the Father will send Him in My name – will teach you all things and remind you of everything I have told you.”  The Holy Spirit is a unique person with the characteristics which define a person. Acts 5:3 tells us that it is possible to lie to Him and Acts 7:51 tells us it is possible to resist Him. And Acts 13:2 tells us that He speaks.

Jesus had said that without Him and his Holy Spirit you can do nothing.. nothing everlasting, or significant too. yet people falsely do try to redefine Jesus, Divorce the Holy Spirit or try to redefine the Holy Spirit with false doctrines, vanities still to day.

A very lively good church is led by the Holy Spirit and the  right, godly leaders.. and  in a very bad church   the shepherds are bad.. led mostly by the devil and self.  And believe me when I say most shepherds are bad still. Great demonic confusion surrounds thus the  Christian doctrine of the baptism of the Holy Spirit even among the Baptists, Evangelicals, Dispensationalists, even Jews  mainly because there are too many ignorant  fools who  try to teach, explain something they themselves have still have never personally experienced yet.

It would be one thing if Mormonism, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Unitarian Jews, and Oneness Pentecostals all had similar religions, practices, and beliefs. But they do not. Their religions, practices, and beliefs ALL WILDLY DIVERGE. THE ONLY THING THAT THEY HAVE IN COMMON IS THAT THEY ALL USE THE SAME ARGUMENTS TO DENY TRINITY AND USE THE SAME LANGUAGE TO DESCRIBE THOSE WHO BELIEVE IN IT.

The Assembly of God Pentecostals do support the Trinity doctrine  https://postedat.wordpress.com/2008/07/03/assemblies-of-god-pentecostals/

TD Jakes has a huge ministry and a wide influence, but much of what he teaches is very troubling. Some of what he teaches is even heretical. .a Oneness Doctrine.  Oneness Pentecostalism (aka Jesus Only) resurfaced around 1913 just after the Azusa Street Pentecostal revival. It is itself another revival of what has been called Sabellianism (after Sabellius excommunicated 220 AD) and Modalistic (modes; ways) Monarchianism (one king). I can tell you assuredly that TD Jakes believes there is one God. We do as well. However, he believes God is a single (cognizant ego) person who showed (manifested) himself, and/or acted in three different ways (modes or dimensions).

That the Son was the Creator clearly disproves firstly the Oneness position.  If the Son did not eternally exist with the Father as a distinct Person why is it that the “Son” can say, “Now, Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had [eichon, or “shared”] with You before the  world  was” (emphasis added)?  How did the Son have (literally, actively possessed) glory with (para) the Father before time if the Son did not exist before Bethlehem?. John 1: 1  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2    The same was in the beginning with God. 3    All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4    In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5    And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not…  and this  all substantiates “the eternal pre-existence of the Son”.

The oldest available recorded Christian hymn, Hail, Gladdening Light!, which was being sung as early as 150 AD, is utterly Trinitarian! The church tradition generally holds that the Gospel of John and Revelation were the last books of the New Testament and that one or the other was written as late as 96 AD, as the beloved disciple apostle John lived an exceptionally long time. So this hymn was being sung than 60 years after the New Testament was completed and the apostle had John died. This doctrine was not an add on later.

Hail, gladdening Light, of his pure glory poured,
who is immortal Father, heavenly blest;
Holiest of Holies, Jesus Christ our Lord!

Now are we come to the sun’s hour of rest;
the lights of evening round us shine,
we hymn the Father, Son and Holy Spirit divine.

Worthiest art thou at all times to be sung,
with undefiled tongue,
Son of our God, Giver of life, alone!
Therefore in all the world thy glories, Lord, they own.

The Bible declares God the Father, called the Ancient of Days (see Daniel 7, especially verses 9, 13, and 22) to be King in various places. The Bible declares God the Son, called the Angel of the Lord in His preincarnate form (see Joshua 5:14-15, also Exodus 3:4-6 cross referenced with Exodus 3:2Acts 7:30Acts 7:35 ) and the Word of God (John 1:1-18, Proverb 8 especially verse 30) and Jesus Christ to be King. However, the Holy Spirit, called the Spirit of God the Father (Matthew 10:20Isaiah 61:1, Luke 4:18) and the Spirit of God the Son (Galatians 4:6, Romans 8:9, Isaiah 61:1Luke 4:18) is never declared to be King by scripture at any time.  How is this possible if you support a Oneness doctrine?

God is God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit — three Persons, one God. Tertullian (160-215 AD) explained, “We define that there are two, the Father and the Son, and three with the Holy Spirit, and this number is made by the pattern of salvation… They are three, not in dignity, but in degree, not in substance but in form, not in power but in kind. They are of one substance and power, because there is one God from whom these degrees, forms and kinds devolve in the name of Father, Son and Holy Spirit” (Adv. Prax. 23; PL 2.156-7

God does not need your money, he wants all of you rather.  Apostle Paul clearly made the decision to follow Jesus alone in all that he did, living by faith now too. Paul did not preach tithing at all.  Abraham was not a Jew so he did not tithe. The nation of Jews came at a later date and mandatory tithing only applied to Jews.

The Pentecostal  Church services tend to be vastly different, but not always, some churches are more active in participatory services of worshiping God in songs, tongues, and in prophecies and they also tend to have longer prayer services , and also longer, more diverse, less predictable  church services than many other supposedly Christian denominations.
