It may feel more spiritual to keep the Jewish Saturday Sabbath requirements, but really it only shows you do not read the whole Bible, that you are really still ignorant of it, even of God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit too who is not leading you still.. if you observe the Sabbath laws then you have to observe also now all the over 550 other Jewish Bible commandments perfectly as well but even then you still will go to Hell cause you are no longer saved by God’s grace, or by the finished work of Jesus Christ but are falsely trying to be saved now your own false works, like Cain tried.. Jesus had come and he had abolished the Jewish and Sabbath requirements.
Ellen White was a false prophet and we can do this by proving that the Pope (Catholic church) DID NOT change the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday. If the Pope indeed changed the Sabbath to Sunday, history should tell us the name of this Pope. She never named the Pope that made the change. Where is the SDA Church support from history that the Pope changed the Sabbath to Sunday? The Church was begun by Christ and led by the Apostles after Pentecost. The first Pope did not exist until 606 AD! (over 500 years too late) This is far too late because Christians were meeting on Sundays from the earliest record of the christian Church history. Colossians 2:16-17 says God abolished the Sabbath, and Constantine also did not change the Sabbath to Sunday, he merely created the first “Sunday closure law” because Christians had been worshiping on the first day of the week since the first apostolic times. “Christians in Rome” had not changed the Sabbath to Sunday since we already do know that the first Church in Jerusalem worshiped on Sunday. The Historical Record!
- Christians always worshipped on the first day (Sunday)
- They state that they stopped keeping the Sabbath to worship on Sunday started with the apostles. None of say they kept the seventh day Sabbath. The only mention of Sabbath keeping was by Eusebius in 300 AD by a cult-sect known as the Ebionites, who Eusebius says also worshipped on the first day. - They said the reason they worshipped on the first day, was because it was a weekly memorial of the day Jesus rose from the dead!
- They outright state that no one prior to Moses (Adam, Noah, Abraham etc) ever kept the Sabbath because it was Moses who first gave the Sabbath law and the ten commandments to man!
- Augustine actually stated that Christians are bound to keep 9 of the ten Commandments [because the New Testament repeats and re-introduces them in a different form] but are free to break the Sabbath!
- The earliest Christians never considered Sunday to be a rest day or the Sabbath. You will observe that the first mention of Sunday being a day of rest was in 220AD by Origen. This is the beginning of the current false doctrine, that Sunday is the Christian Sabbath, as taught by most churches today.
- While Sabbatarians will quote 20th century authors who guess about what happened 1900 years earlier, we quote Christians whose writings are 1900 years old and spoke what they saw!
The record of history, from the Resurrection of Christ, Christians have always worshipped on the first day of the week (Sunday) and never on the Sabbath (7th day). Sunday is not a Christian Sabbath or a day of rest, or a holy day to be kept. It is the day God requires all Christians to gather together to worship and eat the Lord’s Supper (communion, break bread) Acts 20:7. Christians do not keep the ten commandment law of Moses. This is not to say that Christians are free to steal, murder and commit adultery, just because the 10 commandments have been abolished. No! The ten commandments are the foremost visible representation of this first/old covenant was replaced by a new covenant called, among other things “the law of Christ”. 100% of the old covenant was abolished. No part of the Old Covenant remains in force. No one prior to Moses (Abraham or Adam) ever heard of the Sabbath law much less kept it. The very first time that anyone was commanded to keep the Sabbath was in Exodus 16. The word “Sabbath” is not even found in the book of Genesis. Gen 2:2-3 was written by Moses to tell Jews at Sinai the meaning behind WHY they were to keep the Sabbath, NOT WHEN the Sabbath was instituted.

The Sabbath requirement TO THE JEWS ONLY command was to do no work on the Sabbath day (Exodus 20:8-11).

Sabbath was not part of God’s eternal law in heaven prior to creation!

Jesus , God works miracles every day, and even on the Sabbath .God works day and night, endlessly. So does everyone in reality anyway.
Jesus left no doubt whatsoever that all the Law and the Prophets are based on love. Notice: ” ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment; and the second one is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ ON THESE TWO COMMANDMENTS HANG ALL THE LAW AND THE PROPHETS” (Matt. 22:37-40).
In his first epistle, the apostle John amplified Jesus’ statement even more. He wrote, “The one who says, ‘I know Him,’ and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. On the other hand, if anyone is keeping His Word, truly in this one the love of God is being perfected [made complete]. By this means we know that we are in Him. Anyone who claims to dwell in Him is obligating himself also to walk even as He Himself walked” (I John 2:4-6).
These inspired scriptures make it abundantly clear that anyone who is claiming to know and to love Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, but does not keep His commandments, is a liar! His commandments refer to the laws of Jesus and not the Mosaic laws that have been done way with.
The new Israel, the Christian Church, composed of personally saved by Jesus Christ Jews and gentiles replaces the old Israel in Heaven and on earth.. for the reality is that the new Israel is only the Church, the body of Christ which looks forward to the new too (Rom 9:6 KJV) Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. Judiazers, a deliberate demonic activity, Judiazers have falsely existed from the first century, and are still one of the biggest oppponents to Jesus Christ in the Church today..
“Within the early church even there was an ongoing conflict between two groups who both claimed to be followers of Jesus Christ. One group held to the teachings of Jesus as taught by the apostles regarding salvation in Christ alone. The other group also held to the teachings of Jesus but added certain Jewish religious practices, particularly circumcision. As the New American Commentary explains, “…Paul waged a steady campaign against a group of false teachers, commonly known as Judiazers, who had sown great confusion among the apostle’s recent converts by teaching that becoming Jewish was necessary for salvation.”
It is interesting to note the many beliefs held in common by both the original followers of Christ and the zealous Judiazers. Apparently, both of these groups claimed Christ as savior, both held to the authority of Scriptures, both acknowledged the presence of the Holy Spirit, both were “evangelistic,” and at one time or another both groups were accepted as genuine followers of Christ by many first-century Christian congregations. Certainly, both groups claimed to love Jesus and His Gospel.
Paul was particularly forceful in his instructions regarding the Judiazers and their gospel+religious works. The apostle charged, “Evidently, some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ.” Paul’s solution to this problem was that “even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned!” The gospel of the Judiazers “is really no gospel at all.” (Galatians1:6-9)
The apostles instructed believers to give no ground when it came to preserving the purity of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. John pointedly stated, “Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God.” (2John 9) The writer of Hebrews warned, “We must pay more careful attention therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away.” (Hebrews 2:1) “

I do not believe you will go to hell for observing the Sabbath on Sunday, but there are no Sabbath rituals, requirements now.. but that is the right day to go to church, but if you observe the Saturday Sabbath you are still only a Judiazers, and a person under bondage to sins, laws.. you are still unforgiven even if you are relgious though and you are doing your own thing here still which is a major sin .. in Reality Jesus Christ is not your Savior or the sole Lord of your life.. The Bible says it is appointed for all men once to die and after that an immediate, final judgement, they all next only go to heaven or hell immediately upon death based on what they, anyone did with Jesus Christ here on earth, accepted or rejected him, and there is no other path for one’s personal salvation, there no purgatory as well for any Jew or non Jew too. And now there is nothing Biblical in what anyone can as about the Jews positive future. Jesus is the only way of salvation for all. And these false Jewish oriented hopers, dreamers, teachers have still a a complete false assumption that the Bible next says that God will save all of the Jews or reestablish the Jewish nation for this will never occur. Any persons falsely expecting a resurrected nation of Israel, a continuation of the Jewish religion, a totally Jewish controlled, dominated world next will be disappointed for in reality any and all of the Jews positive present, future are now all actually dead as far as the Bible,and God are now concerned, and now and forever too. They the Jews will never be resurrected again to be a nation, a group or what ever under God’s will.
It is tragic, sad that too many people still cannot accept that truth, undeniable fact, that the Jews already had their chance to become Christians, they all had mostly rejected it, and so next it is the end of them as being anything of value, purpose in God’s sight, end..
But some people do still still try to grasp at non existent straws to bring back and save all or most of the Jews even at a later date.. These sad people their hope, views, beliefs are just as wrong, a false expectation as anyone expecting another chance for anyone, someone to get saved in Heaven next for a persons who has already died unsaved.
Look it at it’s simplicity, once there were the Jews as God’s chosen, now, next there are only the Christians, they are the chosen ones, and not the Jews In the future some more Jewish person will be saved and become Christians, but only a small remnant.. And then it is the end of the world. Jesus comes for all people, Christians included and not Christians and they will get what they had personally sowed and immediately. Very little can be known about the reality of the culture, surroundings at the time of Jesus Christ here on earth because there are almost no written records, writings at that period available today, less than a hand full.. So Jesus died on Good Friday, rested in the tomb during the following day, Saturday, which was the Sabbath, and then rose early on Sunday morning, the day we call Easter Sunday. Sunday is the day that the Lord Jesus rose from the dead. The Jewish people who had rejected Jesus continued to worship on Saturday, the Sabbath. But it was the Christians who celebrated Jesus’ resurrection, and the driving force to gather on the first day of the week.
The OT system of Law required keeping the Sabbath as part of the overall moral, legal, and sacrificial system by which the Jewish people satisfied God’s requirements for behavior, government, and forgiveness of sins. The Sabbath was part of the Law in that sense. In order to “remain” in favor with God, you had to also keep the Sabbath. If it was not kept, then the person was in sin and would often be punished (Ezek. 18:4; Rom. 6:23; Deut. 13:1-9; Num. 35:31; Lev. 20:2, etc.).
Again with Jesus’ atonement, we no longer are required to keep the Law as a means for our justification. The requirements of the Law were fulfilled in Christ. We now have rest from the Law. We now have “Sabbath,” continually.
“Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I directed the churches of Galatia, so do you also. 2On the first day of every week let each one of you put aside and save, as he may prosper, that no collections be made when I come,” (1 Cor. 16:1-2).
Notice here that Paul is directing the churches to meet on the first day of each week and put money aside. But this is not tithing, it is giving to the poor.. tithing today is not giving to the poor as it is stolen by the Pastors to build religious empires, Church buildings
