I read recently an interesting internet search question on my site– How to keep oneself away from sexual transgressions?

Get married, but that is not enough

Make a deliberate choice to always obey and follow after God and his commandments too

Beware of the devil who always seem to have a habit to lead you astray

Confess your sins to God regularly

Beware of men and women who always seem to have a habit to lead you astray
Stay away always from bad compnay, bad people, bad friends, bad joke s now as well.

And why should I still be so surprised that so many Chuuch Ministers too now are objectionably alcoholics and adulterers as well?
Just cause 70 percent of pastors admitted to having done adultery or counselling divorce, or 30 percent evangelicals commit divorce does still not mean any of them are getting away with any of it next too
as I have said many times before, even since the Garden of Eden, the devil still lies about the truth and he still says to you that you will not die if you disobey God’s law.. and he does that about lusts, stealing, alcohol, adultery, divorce or whatever.. to keep the people in bondage in their wrongful sins.. but Adam and Eve still paid a price for their sins next, so do we all..

Les McFall has an interesting way to deal with the exception clause in Matthew 19:9. He has written a 43 page paper that reviews the changes in the Greek made by Erasmus that effect the way Matthew 19:9 has been translated. I reviewed McFall’s paper at Except For Fornication Clause of Matthew 19:9. I would love to hear some feedback on this position.
We all need to stop listening to mere men’s opinions, listening to mere men, whether they even be elders, pastors and all get back to listening to God, and to listening, obeyingHhis words.. the false advocates of divorce usually will be from an unbiblical humanist and/or feminist point of view especially if they are both unbelievers. and since most pastors do not use the Bible in counseling their advice of course is too often wrong and umbilical still as well.
I have no personal doubts being in the ministry the last 3 decades that many pastors are wrongfully sex maniacs and that is why they counsel, divorce, practise divorce too. sadly it is undeniably that 70 percent of the pastors are still even ungodly persons, a fact I have detailed as well elsewhere.
It is for this reasons I have helped rightfully to fire many ungodly pastors, even original church founding ones too
except for fornication clause is not a mandatory divorce too.. for you can ask your spouse to repent and forgive them next too

divorces are sinful actions if those who obtain them believe that they annul their legitimate marriages. All remarriages are adulterous relationships while both spouses are still alive.”
I find it hypocritical; that bad pastors too often still try to falsely justify both divorce and alcoholism even today as well, both of which are clearly against the Bible’s teachings
Now having said all that there is the spirit of the law, where God will allow a spouse to be deceived, to file for divorce, and obtain it, to stop the past cruel. vindictive punishment of the other innocent spouse by the continuation of the marriage. This in reality is still a legal separation. There is still no right of remarriage.
Marriage is for life. Due to the inability of fallen man to live up to the truth about marriage, divorce was introduced by man to cope with his selfish nature. His incapacity to forgive freely, as God forgives his transgressions, contributed to the emergence of divorce among mankind. It did not come from God. It is not part of truth. It opposes truth. Jesus reconfirmed, reintroduced mankind to the original instruction on the permanency of marriage,
THE FOUR GUIDING PRINCIPLES
1. Unlawful sex must cease immediately. Go and sin no more
2. Reconciliation to a married partner must not be hindered
3. A Christian cannot marry a non-Christian without a cost
4. The Christian’s body belongs to Christ; remain single if possible
