Christian attitudes towards drugs, smoking and alcohol

Proverbs 20:.1 Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.

The key Christian teaching in relation to the use of drugs. alcohol and smoking  is that the physical body is the natural home of the soul, and is therefore precious and sacred.
 

Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit.

1 Corinthians 6:

 No man should adduce in favour of drinking wine unless he can prove that the wine Jesus made in the” water-pots” of Cana was just like the wine which he proposes to drink. There are ample Greek literary texts which negate the narrow definition of oinos as denoting only fermented wine as it did not have the taste or the intoxicating effect of ordinary wine, God did not make fermented juice.. New wine would be grape juice (or a grapeade) mode from grape syrup while old wine would be 2 to 3 years old Suffice it to say, the “better” wine of course does not in any way imply or demand a more alcoholic, or even an alcoholic, wine at all, there is not the slightest evidence that the word so used would have conveyed any idea but that of the pure juice of the grape,

 

John the Baptist did not drink wine or any other form of alcohol because Scripture prophesied that he wouldn’t (Luke 1:15). Most people don’t know where to draw the line between temperance and excess. Such people better abstain totally until they know they can “be temperate in all things.”

 

John 2–10 And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.

 

And the word used twice  for “good” wine is a Greek word which refers to something or someone morally excellent or intrinsically good, rather It was Christ who in the Old Testament gave the warning to Israel, that “Wine is a mocker,” so why would he make fermented grape juice? by creating alcoholic wine, Jesus would have been promoting drunkenness, which the Bible clearly identifies as sinful.

 

Next you will say Jesus would have also distributed Playboy magazines.

 

If Jesus made fermented wine, then the fact that the guests had become”well drunk” would have meant that Jesus endorsed excessive drinking. Therefore,either Jesus endorsed excessive drinking of alcohol or the wine was unfermented grape juice! Obviously, then, the wine that Jesus made was unfermented grape juice.

 

Too many have assumed that the Hebrew and Greek words translated as “wine” must have the same meaning that themodern usage meaning of the English word “wine” does. In the English language, the word “wine” originally was used to denote the juice of grapes, whether in a fermented or unfermented state. Long ago, of course, that word has taken on the usage meaning of only grape juice in its fermented state. That’s why today we distinguish the two drinks by using the terms “wine” and “grape juice.”

 

Exodus 12:15 and 13:7 forbid the very presenceof “leaven” anywhere in the homes during Passover. The New Testament–in Matthew 16:12 and I Corinthians 5:7-8–provide the explanation by declaring that leaven is a symbol of evil. Leaven is a yeast, so the leavening process is parallel to the process of fermentation. In the light of these facts,plus Jesus’ statement in the disputed passages that the “fruit of the vine”represented His own saving blood, we must surely conclude that the communion cup did, and should always, contain unfermented (ie., uncorrupted) grape juice. The following Old Testament texts show God’s disapproval of wine, as “yayin:” Genesis 9:21; 19:32; Leviticus10:9-11; Deuteronomy 32:33; Psalm 60:3; Proverbs 4:17; 20:1; 23:20, 29-35;31:4-5; Isaiah 5:11-12; 28:7; Ezekiel 44:21; and Hosea 7:5. Proverbs 23:31-35–Again, the very nature of fermented wine is categorically condemned as a “serpent” and an “adder” that bites and stings.

 

The Bible condemns the use itself of all alcoholic beverages and highly recommends unfermented grape juice!  The only exception to this consistent rule in Scripture is Proverbs 31: 6-7, which commands that alcoholic beverages be given to those who are dying or cowards.

 

The assumption made by proponents of the moderate use of alcoholic beverages that the ancient peoples did not know how to preserve the juice of the grape in an unfermented state, and that therefore, virtually every instance of wine mentioned in the Bible must be to fermented wine.This assumption is totally false as the ancient historical records are abundantly clear that there were several major methods of preserving grape juice in its natural, unfermented state.

 

Scriptures clearly teach that the very nature of alcoholic beverages is that which brings spiritual apostasy and otherwise affects the mind (and body too) of whomever drinks it. In other words, it is not excessive drinking only that the Bible condemns,but the beverage itself and its consumption in any amount. Since most people and Christians do not know or study the Bible today they are easily deceived.

 

As it is abundantly clear that the Bible condemns the use of alcohol in any amounts, Persons that are simply rationalizing what they want to do regardless of the facts or the consequences to their spiritual, or physical, natures are led to do so by the demons.

So Christians do not approve of the taking of illegal drugs, including  recreational drugs, all  those items which can alter the mind and make people incapable of praying or being alert to God.

Christians will take prescription drugs when appropriate.

The widespread abuse of drugs, narcotics , alcohol are also  linked to virtually to every evil and criminal activity within our society including adultery, murder.

If any person has genuinely become a “new creature in Christ” the Bible says that old things are supposed to pass away… that all things should become new (2 Cor. 5:17). Therefore, every believer should seek to put on the new creation of Christ, and to put off the old life, including the continued use of mind altering drugs,narcotics, alcohol and smoking .

Revelation 21:8 “But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

  Drugs have a Proven Connection with Sorcery and Witchcraft  According to W.E. Vine’s expository dictionary of New Testament Words (page 1074), the word SORCERY comes from a Greek word, PHARMAKIA – used as a noun, it “signifies a sorcerer,” one who uses drugs, potions, spells, enchantments, as in Rev. 21:8.

The English word for drugs, pharmacy, comes from this same root. Drugs and potions have traditionally been used in witchcraft and satanic rituals to induce deeper subconscious states which enable persons to have fellowship and communication with demons. Realizing the satanic relationship with drug use helps us to understand why abusers of drugs experience such bondage and depravation.

Nowhere in the Bible or in history have drugs been used to bring people closer to God – they have always been used in relation to bringing people closer to evil powers and demonic influences.

And   alcohol, drugs are continually linked with the headlines of Death, Robbery and Destruction. If this sounds familiar, it should. According to the Bible, these happen to be the identical characteristics of Satan.

Alcohol is a poison that is detrimental to one’s health and all persons who take bad drugs and alcohol suffer undeniably irreversible brain damage, death of brain cells, become more and more mentally  retarded .

Poison is a good choice of words, particularly when the substance is in the hands of young people who often think themselves immune from the dangers around them Drinking even one alcoholic beverage while soaking in the sun can increases skin cancer risk by 20 percent while drinking more than four glasses increases this risk by 55 percent, a new study finds . Too many deaths are also  linked to energy drinks being mixed with alcohol. This is a dangerous combination . And it’s just a matter of time before new regulations start to surface here too.  Unfortunately, the vast majority of people impaired by these products are young, often those not yet of legal drinking age. They mix it with juices and stimulant drinks that enhance the poisonous effects. According to the American Cancer Society, cancers linked to alcohol use include mouth, throat, voice box, esophagus, liver, colon and rectum, breasts, and even pancreatic cancer. For each of these cancers, the risk increases with the amount of alcohol consumed.

Heavy drinking can cause cancer, heart disease, stroke, liver failure and other diseases, and drinkers are more likely to die in acccidents or to be murdered. And people who drink and smoke together raise their serious health disease risk even more.

Alcohol is still an  ‘important  cause’  of premature death .  Overall, most deaths were due to liver disease (63 per cent) and neuropsychiatric disorders (32 per cent). Excessive alcohol use can cause or exacerbate disorders such as alcohol dependence syndrome, depression, anxiety and psychotic episodes.  In Canada, the U.S., Argentina and Costa Rica, Cuba, the highest mortality rates were seen among those aged 50 to 69 People can spend 20 years drinking alcohol and not feel any of the effects this is doing to them. Eventually you reap what you sowed and the damage  shows up.  Alcohol is still an  ‘important  cause’  of premature death and major sickness.

Many people will tell you marijuana is not dangerous. Consider who is telling you that. Are these the same people who are using it or are trying to sell you some pot?

The Holy Spirit works in the lives of  Christians and empowers them to begin changing as their sinful burdens are released by the power of God’s forgiveness for their sins.

Paul puts a great value on personal freedom and condemns anything that restricts or prohibits a person from reaching his or her God-given potential. Addiction, a dependence on a certain behavior or experience  is sinful.

The first act of Christian cults is to distort the Bible’s original, clear teaching in favor of  the human, personal “revelations” or interpretations. These Cults may emphasize a  few verses in Scripture that seem to support their beliefs but still falsely do deliberately ignore a vast  host  of valid scripture which don’t. The Book of Acts opens with the Christian’s duty to proclaim the good news of salvation first to Jews in Israel and then to the whole world. Yet Christian Zionism is falsely not concerned with evangelism to any of Jews. Christian Zionism is primarily falsely devoted to upholding the right of a nation of Christ-rejecting Jews to occupy Palestine. It is primarily a political, not evangelistic, movement. The apostle Paul said clearly that God’s blessing was promised not to a nation of Abraham’s physical, unbelieving descendants but only to one person, Jesus (Gal. 3:16, 19). In verse 29 he says as a result that all who believe in Jesus Christ -God are children of Abraham and will be the sole ones that receive his blessing.  Jews cannot hope to find peace in a parcel of land in the Middle East; rather, peace for all men can only be found in Jesus Christ.

The Bible clearly says . . .for ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen among even as they have of the Jews: who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men: forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they might be saved, to fill up their sins all way: for the wrath is come upon them to the uttermost. (1 Thess. 2:14-16)

“Not one verse in Scripture promises that unbelieving Jews can occupy God’s holy land in unbelief. Not one prophecy clearly says that God will allow an unbelieving nation of Jews into Palestine and convert them later.  Christian Zionism twists a handful of verses, giving them a fleshly, materialistic, unconditional interpretation ignoring God’s spiritual terms of obedience “ WE still do need interpret Scripture in light of the one commandment of God that summarizes all other commandments, love for God and for all our neighbors.”

The prevailing version of American Christian Zionism,  CHRISTIAN” ZIONISM IS A CULT, and  their  belief system that falsely even underwrites, supports the theft of Palestinian land and the ongoing false oppression of Palestinian people, falsely escalates, helps create the conditions for an explosion of violence, and the violation of  universal human rights. In all of these,. Christian Zionism” is used to refer to the beliefs that many Christian conservatives have which insist that the state of Israel be supported at all costs because this is a necessary condition for the return of Jesus Christ.  Christian Zionism makes Christians the servants of wicked men. Taught to bless Israel no matter what, Christians become callous and depraved toward the Arabs, whom God loves as much as Jews. What precedent exists in Scripture to falsely support, hold up 17 million non-Christian Jews today as beyond criticism? None! Scripture contains no example of exalting even one righteous Jew or Gentile beyond reproof! Christian Zionism thus not only flagrantly omits Scripture it doesn’t like; it creates a false obligation to bless the wicked just because they are Jewish. This is a perverse, even a racist, violation of the commandment in the book of James not to show favoritism to persons. This is a spiritual perversion. God does even now hates it.

All   Jews who reject Christ are liars (Rev. 3:9) and are “enemies of the gospel” (Rom. 11:28)—and  Christians should “beware of the leaven” (teachings) of modern Judaism (Mark 8:5) Jews of Israel Talmudic Judaism  are mostly evil and corruptive and therefore even now really cannot possibly beany longer  God’s chosen people. Christian Zionists feel falsely obligated to protect even the vilest supremacist Jews of which there are much much too many from investigation, criticism, or exposure

John 18:36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

Christian Zionists love to play and replay Ps. 122:6: “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.” Yet you will never hear from their lips that Christ calls Jerusalem “Sodom and Egypt where our Lord was crucified” (Rev. 3:9), But Israel is still portrayed more than 80 times in the Old Testament as the “mother” of spiritual adultery in the world. The whole book of Hosea and much of Ezekiel dramatize this unique distinction

Christian Zionists love to quote passages describing the Jews’ special covenant, such as Genesis 12:1, 14-15, 15:18, 22:17. They falsely do infer that God wants Jewish safety and blessing as a top world priority and falsely claim these verses grant Jews, in any moral condition, perpetual rights to occupy Palestine. This is hardly what the Bible teaches. God says Jews inherited covenantal rights only because of Abraham’s obedience, an obedience they must duplicate in order to also inherit (Gen. 18:19, 26:4-5). This condition is clearly present in Deuteronomy 7:12 and 28:1-2: 

if ye harken to these judgments and keep and do them. . .the Lord thy God shall keep unto thee the covenant and the mercy which He swore unto thy fathers.

if thou shalt harken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God to observe and do all His commandments…all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou but harken unto the voice of the Lord… (see also Hebrews 8:8,9)

There are   dozens of clearest warnings to the ancient Hebrews that they cannot enter the land except in obedience and that if they are rebellious God will throw them out? Or that, once in exile, they can never come back except they obey? Here are only several:

[if you shall corrupt yourselves]…I call heaven and earth to witness against you that ye shall soon utterly perish from off the land . . .and the Lord shall scatter you among the nations… (Deut. 4:25-27).

[Conversely, when exiled Jews] return to the Lord thy God. . .the Lord thy God will turn their captivity. . .and gather them from all the nations. . . (Deut. 30:1-3)

““Christian Zionism” is not authentic Christianity. It is devoted to a single monstrous heresy: that wicked Jews can reoccupy God’s holy land, a region of the earth originally set aside by Him to signify heaven. It rejects God’s command that His church not be unequally yoked with one of the vilest, most arrogant and oppressive systems of all time. “

Why should Christians involve themselves with the deeds of a Jewish  people who are still the “enemies” of the cross, blinded by God and in a state of curse?    What Paul had now also taught us all was that ‘Jew’ , Jewish Nation didn’t mean anything to God over anyone else. Even John the Baptist told the priests not to puff themselves up by invoking the name of Abraham, because God could make children of Abraham from stones! The promises were broken by the people, not by God. God is fulfilling all his promises to the true faithful of Israel today, The Christians. And they are all who have accepted Jesus as Messiah, whether Jewish by race or non-Jewish. Israel is more than a plot of land, it is a people of God- true Christians. .

According to this verse, Noah was given permission to eat anything that didn’t have the blood still in it. Adam wasn’t given this permission, and it’s a much broader spectrum than the kosher diet of Moses’s law, where many animals were forbidden to eat under any circumstances. That last group of verses is an absolute 100 megaton explosion to the argument about sacred objects, ‘godly’ graven images of the temple, relics of the OT, and the such implications that these things matter now, or ever really did. God passed it by due to the peoples ignorance, and most likely influences of false religions after leaving Egypt. God never seemed to care about gold, jewels, polished silver, fine brass, or the fabric of holy robes prior to Moses leading Israel out of Egypt, yet from this point on, it seemed to matter a great deal. These verses just explained it all away, and that’s why we as Christians are not instructed to carry on with these things.

Now that it should be apparent that most of the OT laws have been done away, what remains then? What’s going on? Well, theres only 9 commandments that are reiterated in the NT*, but they are summarized by 1 new one. John 13:34 is where Jesus says a NEW commandment He was giving was to love one another as He loves us, and Romans 13:8 says to love one another is to fulfill all of the law. That is the law now, there it is, all of it, right there, for also in loving one another you will not do any ill will to anyone. Paul even clarifies it, just in case you were wondering what kind of love to have.

There is also Galatians 5:14 “For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.” Can it really get any clearer?

I will now take this one step further and show the Jesus was instituting this new set of rules even within His own life. Yes, Jesus Christ the Messiah was preparing people for a change, things were not going to be the way they were in the OT anymore, and this verse is painfully clear that a change was a comin’….

Mat 11:12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.  11:13 For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.

John 18:36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

Kind of interesting isn’t it? Jesus was well aware of all of the wars and fighting and bloodshed of the OT times and was putting an end to it once and for all. This was not the way of God, for He is love. The kingdom of heaven would no longer be able to be taken by violence, (from either side actually) because it would no longer be an earthly matter. We know this because of the examples the apostles set in peace and persecution through the first century church. They were not renegade assassins or anything like that.

So here come the verses that every Judaizer tries to hit me over the head with: Mat 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.  5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

These verses have cause a lot of confusion in the faith, especially in light of the massive amount of verses I have already laid down in this section. Something needs to be made clear here. When Jesus was referring to “the law” in those verses, He was not referring to the law of MOSES. In fact, Jesus and the apostles differentiate between the law of God and the law of Moses in many places, this is a key point. Jesus proves that He is not talking about the law of Moses in some of the very next verses where He lists the commandments now, and even updates a few, making them stricter…..He says “anyone who breaks the least of THESE commandments shall be least in the kingdom.” What commandments? He didn’t name any yet, BUT HE WAS ABOUT TO. Remember, according to Hebrews 7 that there was a changing of the priesthood, therefore a changing of the law.

Mat 19:7-8 and Mark 10:4-5 Jesus is asked about divorce and His answer is that MOSES gave them that precept because of the hardness of their hearts, and that it was not so from the beginning. Proving again that the law has changed more than once. Jesus then forbade it except in adultery.

Act 21:21 And they are informed of thee, that thou teachest all the Jews which are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, saying that they ought not to circumcise their children, neither to walk after the customs. (The elders then came together and decided it was wise for Paul to purify himself in the temple and shave his head according to custom, in order to prevent a riot…it didn’t work, because the Jews knew Paul was in fact teaching this, and we know too from the many writings of Paul which I have already provided in this section.)

We also know from 1st Samuel 8:1 that God gave the people kings because they whined that they wanted a human king, He would have been their king. We also know that God sent them quails when they were tired of manna, so they ate meat until they got sick of it. Apparently God has always wanted a better way, but the Jews simply would not listen, so finally when Christ came, He came teaching the true way of the Father.  As far as certain OT prophecies like Zechariah 14:16-19, which talks about there being observance of the feast of tabernacles by all people…simply read verse 8 and you will see this is all figurative/spiritual. Verse 8 talks about living waters flowing from Jerusalem. How can water be ‘living’? In the NT, living waters are talked about as something spiritual and not physical. Better proof is found back in Zech 12:4 where it says that every horse will be struck with astonishment and blindness, and their riders will go mad. Literally this verse is pointless, horses aren’t used for transportation anymore, they’re hardly even used for labor. Will cars and tractors go blind instead?

The last thing to address is the oft repeated argument of the promises of God, and verses about His perpetual covenant with Israel, such as in Exodus 31:16 that sabbath day keeping would be a part of this covenant, among other things like diet in Lev 3:17. These things all became nullified when the covenant was broken, and Israel was cast off. Think it didn’t happen? Jesus the Jewish Messiah rule of Israel basically is not detailed in the New Testament. Non existent..

Part of the revelation given to Paul by Christ was that physical Israel, the Jews, were no longer the chosen people because of their bloodline. Paul expresses this part of his revelation in Galatians 3: 3-7, After the Cross, though, the chosen bloodline teaching itself became anti-Christ. Romans 2: 28-29: “For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:

But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.” Paul is saying that anyone of any race becomes a true Jew by the Spirit, by having the Spirit in his heart.  We know that at a time earlier than the time of Christ that the northern tribes were called Israel and the southern tribes Judah, or Jews. But in the first century when the New Testament was written, the term Israel and Jews referred to the same people.  And interestingly John in Revelation 2: 9 and 3: 9 supports what Paul says about a true Jew being anyone who is led by the Spirit. Jesus the Jewish Messiah who will restablish the nation of Osrael is still basically is not detailed  in the New Testament.
Why is that the role of Jesus the Jewish  Messiah is not detailed at all in the New Testament and the word Messiah is   mentioned only 2 times  in the new testament..
(John 1:41 KJV)  He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ.
(John 4:25 KJV)  The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.  26   Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.
still there is no detailed  Testament definition of the Messiah now too. ..;
Most Jews thus believe that Jesus really could not be the Messiah of the Old Testament; even of he claimed  to be so..
Basically identity of Jesus as being the Messiah is kept secret, except to chosen disciples.The story in the Gospel of Matthew[ account tells of the “Wise Men” or “Magi” who brought gifts to the infant Jesus after following a star which they believed was a sign that the Messiah, or King of the Jews, had been born. The Gospels state that Jesus is the Messiah,] “Son of God”,[, and “Lord and God,, sent to “give his life as a ransom for many” and “preach the good news of the kingdom of God.”
(Luke 2:11 KJV)  For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

Jews and Christians seem to have a difference of views as to what the messiah will do now too .Many Messianic Jews and Christian thus belive that the role of Jesus the Messiah will only be fulfilled in the millennium reign of Christ, but is this true, is there a new testament substantiation of it. No and why is that?
The central theme for the Jews of the Old Testament Holy Books is the coming of the Messiah and the establishment of the Kingdom of God among people
According to the old testament Jews and their traditions  “The word “Messiah” does not mean “savior.” The notion of an innocent, divine or semi-divine being who will sacrifice himself to save us from the consequences of our own sins is a concept that has no basis in the Jewish thought “The Messiah will be a great political leader descended from King David (Jeremiah 23:5). The Messiah is often referred to as “Messiah ben David” (Messiah, son of David). He will be well-versed in Jewish law, and observant of its commandments. (Isaiah 11:2-5) He will be a charismatic leader, inspiring others to follow his example. He will be a great military leader, who will win battles for Israel. He will be a great judge, who makes righteous decisions (Jeremiah 33:15). But above all, he will be a human being, not a god, demi-god or other supernatural being…The Messiah will bring about the political and spiritual redemption of the Jewish people by bringing us back to Israel and restoring Jerusalem (Isaiah 11:11-12; Jeremiah 23:8; 30:3; Hosea 3:4-5). He will establish a government in Israel that will be the center of all world government, both for Jews and gentiles (Isaiah 2:2-4; 11:10; 42:1). He will rebuild the Temple and re-establish its worship (Jeremiah 33:18). He will restore the religious court system of Israel and establish Jewish law as the law of the land (Jeremiah 33:15).”;  The world after the Messiah comes is often referred to in Jewish literature as Olam Ha-Ba (oh-LAHM hah-BAH), the World to Come. This term can cause some confusion, because it is also used to refer to a spiritual afterlife. In English, we commonly use the term “messianic age” to refer specifically to the time of the Messiah. Olam Ha-Ba will be characterized by the peaceful co-existence of all people. (Isaiah 2:4) Hatred, intolerance and war will cease to exist. Some authorities suggest that the laws of nature will change, so that predatory beasts will no longer seek prey and agriculture will bring forth supernatural abundance (Isaiah 11:6-11:9). Others, however, say that these statements are merely an allegory for peace and prosperity.
All of the Jewish people will return from their exile among the nations to their home in Israel (Isaiah 11:11-12; Jeremiah 23:8; 30:3; Hosea 3:4-5). The law of the Jubilee will be reinstated. In the Olam Ha-Ba, the whole world will recognize the Jewish God as the only true God, and the Jewish religion as the only true religion (Isaiah 2:3; 11:10; Micah 4:2-3; Zechariah 14:9). There will be no murder, robbery, competition or jealousy. There will be no sin (Zephaniah 3:13). Sacrifices will continue to be brought in the Temple, but these will be limited to thanksgiving offerings, because there will be no further need for expiatory offerings.”  Jews do not believe that Jesus was the Messiah. or that  he simply did not fulfill the mission of the Messiah as it is described in the biblical passages here cited above. , Judaism has always maintained a fundamental belief in a Messianic figure. Since the concept of a Messiah is one that was given by God to the Jews, Jewish tradition is supposedly now  best qualified to describe and recognize the expected Messiah. 3) He must gather the Jewish people from exile and return them to Israel. (Isaiah 27:12-13, Isaiah 11:12)
4) He must rebuild the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem. (Micah 4:1)
5) He must bring world peace. (Isaiah 2:4, Isaiah 11:6, Micah 4:3)
6) He must influence the entire world to acknowledge and serve one G-d. (Isaiah 11:9, Isaiah 40:5, Zephaniah 3:9)
All of these criteria for the Messiah are best stated in the book of Ezekiel chapter 37:24-28:
“And My servant David will be a king over them, and they will all have one shepherd, and they will walk in My ordinances, and keep My statutes, and observe them, and they shall live on the land that I gave to Jacob My servant…and I will make a covenant of peace with them; it will be an everlasting covenant and I will set my sanctuary in their midst forever and My dwelling place shall be with them, and I will be their G-d and they will be My people. And the nations will know that I am the Lord who sanctifies Israel, when My sanctuary is in their midst forever.”

Obviously for many Jews and Messianic Jews the Jesus of Christianity did not fulfill these requirements Many Messianic Jews and Christian thus believe that the role of Jesus the Messiah will only be fulfilled in the millennium reign of Christ, but is this true, is there a New Testament substantiation of it. No and why is that?
The Jews had looked and looked mainly for a restoration of the former glory of the nation of Israel while Jesus clearly said his kingdom was not of this world. The Jews mostly still were not concerned about getting to Heaven cause they had it made as they were supposedly the chosen ones now..but even this is no true according the new testament.

” Lord, speak to me and I will obey. I know, Lord, that I cannot do anyithing in my strength, but only by Your indwelling strength, the Holy Spirit who  will enable me. Speak, Lord, Your servant is listening.” Is this also now your prayer?

At Mount Sinai God told Moses as to how He would proceed to put the children of Israel in possession of their promised inheritance. He would not drive out the inhabitants of the land “in one year”; but He said, “little by little I will drive them out from before thee, until thou be increased, and inherit the land.” And He God next goes on to say that He would set the bounds of their possession “from the desert unto the river” (Euphrates), and would “deliver the inhabitants of the land” into their hand, and they should “drive them out” before them (Ex. 23:27-31).

Joshua 1:8 … This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.   “Behold, I have set the land before you; go in and possess the land which the Lord sware unto your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, to give unto them and to their seed after them” (Deut. 1:6-8).

“Every place whereon the soles of your feet shall tread shall be yours; from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the river Euphrates, even unto the uttermost sea shall your coast be” (Deut. 11:24).   “And Solomon reigned over all kingdoms, from the river [i.e., the Euphrates] unto the land of the Philistines, and unto the border of Egypt… For he had dominion over all the region on this side of the river, from Tiphsah even to Azzah, over all the kings on this side of the river” (1 Ki. 4:21, 24. See also 2 Chron. 9:26).   And the above Land promise was duly fulfilled to all of Abraham’s natural “seed,” and the Bible contains clear records of the fact, and the promise in its fullness runs to Abraham’s true “Seed”, all those persons who are in Christ   “For the promise that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith” Romans 4:13

“Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham”; Galatians 3:7.   , “And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” Galatians 3:29   “And ye have this day rejected your God, who Himself saved you out of all your adversities and your tribulations, and ye have said unto Him, Nay, but set a king over us” (1 Sam. 10:17-19).   Now natural Israel has no longer any standing before God, or any part in His future purposes. The New Testament Scriptures makes it now certain that the national restoration of Israel after the flesh is not a part of the revealed will of God, but that the reverse is true. God regards natural Israel earthly kingdom with utter detestation, and He will never restore it, Next when John the Baptist preached to the Jewish people, saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand,” he was not announcing the setting up again of the earthly throne of David for Israel as many Jews, some professing Christians falsely hoped, believe it would happen again.

TOO MANY HAVE A WRONG DEFINITION OF WHAT A REAL CHRISTIAN  IS.  AND THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A PARTIAL  CHRISTIAN WHO REJECTS THE ANOINTING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

To be a Christian is based on the Greek word anointed one, Christos, a person in whom  we can see the anointing of the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ.. Jesus Christ himself also was baptized with the Holy Spirit, The word “Christ” is a transliteration of the Greek word christos, meaning “the Anointed One.

(Acts 10:38 KJV)  How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
Now  the anointed one- Greek for Messiah (anointed one) is Christos, Christ in English. Thus, “Jesus Christ” joins a name and a title, and means Jesus the Messiah. Christ, Messiah, Anointed One. The title “Christ” or “Anointed One” Gk. Christos “Cristov” occurs about 350 times in the New Testament..

The word christos means a person so anointed and the word chrisma refers to that by which a person is anointed. John uses chrisma in these two verses, not speaking of the object being anointed but of the instrument of anointing. Additionally, we find a word christianos in Acts 11:26, which means “one belonging to the Anointed One,” just as Herodianos would mean “one who belongs to Herod.” As the ultimate Prophet, King and Priest, Jesus Christ was anointed when he began his earthly ministry. This anointing was predicted by Isaiah in Isaiah 61:1 when he said that the Spirit of the Lord would come upon the Messiah. In God’s time, when Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist, we are told the Holy Spirit came upon him when he came up out of the water. In other words, he was anointed by the Holy Spirit, and that without measure.

Not only is Jesus Christ anointed, but the Bible tells us that every believer in Jesus Christ is also anointed. We are kings, priests, and prophets under the Priest, Prophet and King, the Lord Jesus Christ. We find references to this in many places. John the Baptist said there was another person coming after him, mightier than himself, who would baptize people in the Holy Spirit and fire.

 In Acts 1:5 the Lord Jesus Christ himself speaks of this, saying, “For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.” This was fulfilled on the day of Pentecost, as we read in Acts 2:4: “All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.” The Greek word for anointing is chrisma, from which we have the word chrism. Chrisma appears several times in 1 John 2:20 and 27. It comes from the root word, chriô, which means to rub something or someone lightly with a substance like oil or lotion. Thus, when John writes in 1 John 2:20, “But you have a chrisma, an anointing,” he was referring to the coming of the Holy Spirit upon every believer.;

and by the way these people who clearly hate, reject, abuse the Holy Spirit by offering their false definition of Christian   really do need to relook at the definition of a Christians, as they clearly are not Holy Spirit anointed  Christians even.. they are not real Christians..  So one can tell if any person is a Christian cause they also can see the evidence of the holy spirit’s anointing.. so now we all can be anointed one inspectors of all Christians now too.

We have now in Christendom have one faith, One Bible, one God, one Jesus Christ, one Church, One Holy Spirit, but we seem to have many different personal definitions of what a Christian is.. and why is that now? but in reality a Pentecostal Christian is the only valid, true definition of what a Christian is. Many persons believe in Jesus Christ but does that now make them even Christian? (Mat 7:13 KJV) Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leaded to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

I know of three essential Christian truths for a start
1: sinful, unrepentant man is going to hell
2: Jesus Christ saves, heals, delivers, etc., all those who come to him on his terms.
3: Jesus also baptizes us with the Holy Spirit.

(Luke 4:18 KJV) The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

Mat 10:8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

Like in all Major Christian issues, the Full Gospel, Salvation, Healing, Prophecy, Baptism of the Holy Spirit, tongues, Spiritual gifts, Faith, Giving Alms to the poor and even the Tithing are now too often not being Biblically, being fully, honestly presented in most places, in most churches, on the net too.

Forget that the word Christ, Greek Christos is the historical basis of all believers being now called Christians for 2000 years.. add your own man made definition, biblical misinterpretation of what a Christian is and thus you do not have to agree with God’s definition ehh.. and what no one wants to admit that now is more unaccepted lies, perversities too.

Some people now do not believe in the Baptism of the Holy spirit as a second separate experience but may even belive in evangelism a word, incidentally, not found as such in the Scripture This tends to shows how they and you pick and chose what you will believe sill too? But still Salvation is multidimensional. Its basic and primary meaning includes sozo, healed, saved, delivered, the manifestations of the charismatics gifts of the holy spirit.

ANTIOCH was the second most mentioned city in the Acts of the Apostles and the third city of importance in the Roman Empire; This landmark of Syria, because of its location, size and importance in the Roman Empire, moved to be the second center of Christianity.

Now previously they called each other, “brethren”, “disciples”, “apostles”, “servants”, “believers”, “followers”, “the faithful”, “the elect”, “the called”, and “saints;.”bondservants” of Christ. It is noteworthy that our Lord Jesus Christ he never gave any name to his people; he called them disciples, which signifies pupils, learners. The apostles have applied to the Church, the Christians various terms, such as “church of the living God;” “church of God;” “church of Christ;” “the church;” but gradually they became know under the name “Christians,”

The disciples owned their dependence upon Christ, and all of their receiving from him; not only that they believed in him who is the anointed, but that through him they themselves had the anointing,

The conclusion of the Jerusalem Conference is recorded in Acts 15:22-29. Once Saved Always Saved ? Can you still lose your salvation in Jesus Christ?

(Acts 11:17 KJV) Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God?

BAD PASTORS HAVE LIED TO ME AND HAVE SAID THAT THE LORDSHIP OF JESUS CHRIST IS A LIFE TIME EXPERIENCE .. THESE COWARDS OR FOOLISH VIRGINS NEVER MADE A FULL COMMITMENT. AND MOST OF THESE PEOPLE WHO DO SO NEVER REPENT DAILY OF THEIR SINS STILL. THE ISSUE WAS IS JESUS THE ACTUAL FULL LORD OF YOUR LIFE OR THE DEVIL

I righfully do have very liitle respect for the  people who demand that we obey the law as they define it too, and they mostly quote the old testament and omit or distort many of  the new testament verses.. and come to us  under false pretences now too..  such as trying to earn their way into heaven by changing others cause they had failed to change themselves it seems now.. they need to get the real Jesus still.. We all do need to get angry at the traditional heresy, lies, falsehoods and to get them out of our brains, as well as being angry with the the people spreading them too frequently !!!

We all Do not accept a “bad check” . So why do some people falsely think that we as Christians now do still have to tolerate and accept in love the bad behavior of any professing Christian if we now are the good Christians? I do NOT tolerate and accept any of the bad that they are doing rather we all should clearly ask them to repent from their wrong doings.

(Rev 3:19 KJV) As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

(1 Tim 5:20 KJV) Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 21 I charge thee before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality.

(Eph 5:11 KJV) And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

(2 Pet 2:17 KJV) These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.

GOD DID NOT SUPPRESS YOUR FREE WILL.. IN FACT 50 PERCENT OF ALL ONCE LOUDLY PROFESSING CHRISTIANS NEXT DO DEPART WILLINGLY, CONSCIOUSLY FROM THEIR FAITH, A DOG THAT TURNS BACK TO IT’S VOMIT
PEOPLE STILL DO CHOOSE TO GO TO HELL BY THEIR OWN FREE WILL. GOD WILL NOT SEND A BELIEVER TO HELL THE PERSON HE NEXT CHOOSES TO GO THERE

Ask God to tell you the truth rather than trying to tell me what is the truth too

Now can a Person change themselves? Is there hope for anyone? Some people say that recognition of the problems, obstacles is basically 90 percent of the solution, and I really do also wish that next was true.. Now we all seem to meet all type of persons in real life, the control freaks, verbal and human right abusers, Bullies, enslavers, liars, cheaters, imposters, pretenders, con artists too. And we often simply do wonder why they do not change.. Here also is what I know for sure, the older the person is the more extreme, more severe, the more difficult the punishment has to be on them to cause them to personally to change in their own negative ways, for they are too set in them now too. So someone in your world is doing something you don’t like. It isn’t always that easy. But don’t resort to threats, nagging and browbeating. That usually produces defensiveness, hostility and disharmony. You can live without all that. Change yourself first still too. You mostly Can’t Change Others but you can Change Yourself with God’s help now.

If a man cannot lose his salvation then why would Jesus say: “When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, he quickly falls away”?

Mark 13:13 says: [Jesus said] “ but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.” [NIV ]
If God didn’t want us to be able to choose He would not have given us the gift of freewill. It is this gift which places us above the animals. It is this gift which allows us to choose to either worship God or not worship God. It is this gift, and only this gift, which allows us to truly love Him like a son. It is this gift which proves that ‘once saved, always saved’ must be wrong.

If we are saved in spite of ourselves then there is no freewill. If there is no freewill then the Bible is wrong!

No matter what view you want to hold here it is undeniable that the people who do not accept the finished work of Jesus Christ ended up in hell. did you lose your salvation next by trying to do it the devils way. Ex 32:33 “The LORD said to Moses, ‘Whoever has sinned against Me, I will blot him out of My book.’”

Mat 10:32 “Therefore everyone who confesses Me before men, I will also confess him before My Father who is in heaven.”

Luke 12:8 “And I say to you, everyone who confesses Me before men, the Son of Man will confess him also before the angels of God”
