Building and maintaining personal relationships with others, either Qualitative or Quantitative relationships? they should be the key goal in one’s life ?
Personal relationships DEVELOPMENT, MAINTENANCE now are really important to some persons.
I have often heard seniors, educators , teachers, pastors say that one’s own relationship with one’s parents is also a priority.
(Mat 19:19 KJV) Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
It is also well known that Jesus loved Lazuraus and his family.. John 11:2 KJV It was that Mary which anointed the Lord with 4 When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby. 5 Now Jesus loved Martha, and her sister, and Lazarus.
We all have a desire to be loved, a need to be wanted, to be accepted, to be approved by others, even to please others it seems too.. Personal relationships are really important to some persons. It likely all now explains why the social internet networks are so popular
Personal relationships are the main goals, priority. They are God ordained goals?
(Mat 22:39 KJV) And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
(Lev 19:18 KJV) Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD.
(2 Th 3:10 KJV) For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat. 11 For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies. 12 Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.
Some PERSONS rather would say getting and maintaining a job, a career are, is RATHER the most important thing in life, for a job is essential forputting goods, food, bread on the table, and one’s personal happiness is often defined by the work one does too.. but even here personal networking seems to be essential in getting ahead to doing a good job..
The business persons the politician too would agree that establishing, maintaining, building personal relationships are very important for after all relationships, contacts are essential for his own personal business development, profitability, getting repeat customers, support especially. Relationships are also important to the the ambitious achiever as well who wants to get ahead,, to be promoted, thus a goal of personal relations are very important as well to the Hireling pastors who are here to advance, promote themselves, to get richer in the process.
Some others would still rather say that one’s family relationship are the most import as well, the relationship with ones spouse, children, brothers and sisters..
(1 Tim 5:8 KJV) But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.
Some others loudly would still rather say that the spousal relationships is the most important aspect?
The supposedly Important MARRIAGE Intimacies? SELF CENTERED GOALS?
– a bond of Spiritual Intimacy… but the FIRST all important relationship is not that between a husband and wife but that one with God! Too often God is neglected and why is that? No excuses here are acceptable.
– Emotional Intimacy… the “heart to heart” connection the intimate couple CRAVED BY EMOTIONAL WOMEN? and certainly not by men, many men tend to lie to women to make them feel good here..
– Intellectual Intimacy… SEEMS TO BY PASS ANY NEED FOR LOVE.. Though we allow one another to be unique, is it important that we share common core values? A truly intimate couple will often even think the same thing? or be led by the same evil spirit? REAL LOVE ACCEPTS A PERSON THE WAY THEY ARE EVEN WITH THE DIFFERENCES.
– Sexual Intimacy or Sexual compatibilty IS VERY IMPORTANT too? God has designed a very special physical relationship that draws a husband and wife closer than ever? or a lust that causes them to be tempted by others? Sexual! This seems to be the biggest goal of may persons sadly. Sex still does not make you happy like Jesus does. Many people who have sex are still unhapy with each other, life too.
Most marriages that fail still do fail not due to marital intimacy failures but firstly fail due to laziness, unrealistic expectations, pursuing bad or false values, extreme goals, self centeredness and ADULTERY..
Personal relationship with others should be the key goal in one’s life or is there other more important priorities, goals in life that should be personally followed?
First let us look at the above main quoted verses again and see them in a little bit more detail..
In reality none of these above goals in themselves now are correct, taken to imbalance, extreme, alone, distorted they can be rather deadly.. for any a man is known by the company he keeps and having bad friends, associates, can be personally deadly rather still too.
(Mat 5:43 KJV) Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. 44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; 45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. 46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? 47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? :48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
WHAT WE ARE EVEN TO CULTIVATE RELATIONSHIPS STILL WITH PEOPLE WHO DO NOT APPRECIATE US, HAVE NO USE FOR US? What Ostrazation, divorce, separation from them is not allowed?

Loving one’s family clearly is not enough.. one has to love others
but one first has to love God with all one hearts, soul and body too
(Mark 12:29 KJV) And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: 30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. 31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
(Mat 10:37 KJV) He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
Some others would still rather say that family relationship are the most import as well, the relationship with ones spouse, children, brothers and sisters.. and it seems Jesus failed on that account for his family did not approve of his work goals..
(Mat 13:57 And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house. 58 KJV) And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.
(Mark 6:5 KJV) And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them. 6 And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching. 7 And he called unto him the twelve, and began to send them forth by two and two; and gave them power over unclean spirits;
JESUS HIMSELF SEEMS TO HAVE FAILED IN THE AREA OF PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP DEVELOPMENT, even WITH HIS FAMILY, FRIENDS, OTHERS TOO, FOR HE WAS KILLED BY THE OTHERS, EVEN DIED TOTALLY FORSAKEN, ABANDONED, HE DIED ALMOST ALL ALONE..
Jesus seems to CLEARLY imply THAT DEVELOPING RELATIONSHIP WITH OTHERS THUS IS NOT THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN ONE’S LIFE but rather personally, clearly doing the Will of the Heavenly Father that was more important even over developing one’s relationships..
(Luke 22:42 KJV) Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.
(Mat 12:46 KJV) While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him. 47 Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee. 48 But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren? 49 And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren! 50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

FOLLOWING AFTER GOD’S WORD IS ALWAYS STILL ESSENTIAL AS WELL
(Mat 13:18 KJV) Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower. 19 When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. JESUS ALSO RELIED FULLY ON GOD’S HELP, LEADING. (John 5:19 KJV) Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.(John 5:30 KJV) I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.
There is a stigma that comes with the real cross for the TRUE, Real righteous Christian people seem not fit in this society. They always thus bring attack upon them. He Jesus came to bring a sword. You wield it, for you show what you are realy like in contrast to them. The world thus hates you for it. They wrongfully despise you. Forget about building relationships with them..
Anyway love is not compliance to other’s evil ways. It is standing up for what is best for them. Yes they hate you.
(1 Cor 16:22 KJV) If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha.
(1 John 2:15 KJV) Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him
It is ok. God, Jesus loves you.
Why some people still do miss the kingdom of heaven. They cannot give up their sins to God. My father was a soldier who was proud of all other soldiers. Especially the Russian ones. Many orthodox persons boast of their historical heritage but so what? For a half a century I too often clearly notice that many of the Orthodox persons I know they do not practice what their church preaches still. My very religious Orthodox father used to often visit the grave site of many of his deceased friends to pray for them but my father was never known to be charitable or kind to anyone , not even to himself. He used to justify it by saying to me why should I do something good to someone else when they never did anything good to me. Many orthodox persons do honor and venerate St. John to a extreme such as my father also had often did too but I had often wondered why when my father was never willing to make the needed personal changes in his own life, to bring fruit worthy of repentances.. Maybe that was why they admired St John so much cause he did REPENT, AND make the necessary changes. All People who are willfully disobedient to God, falsely still insist on doing their own thing and not doing it God’s way will next miss the boat, and they will not enter into heaven.. for God does not bless disobediences. Cain was a good example of this.
I have been recently counseling a person who desperately wants to be remarried, she has been twice married, but she is not interesting in following after God only after her own desires, lusts.. so no marriage for her will make her happy or replace God’s vacuum in her life still too. God has not promised you now even a right of remarriage.. but he promised you peace, joy and happiness and yes you can have that outside of marriage with Jesus..
If you still do have a God shaped vacuum that is unfilled, then no other things, no relationships or careers, goals, next will satisfy you, not any personal, social, community relationships..
(2 Tim 2:4 KJV) No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
