Canada Likley too often Banned Political cartoons

Law and order priorities emphasis in Canada is too often a mere perversity, a police job creation empire it seems.. not a real concern about valid justice.

Married CFB Trenton commander charged in murder

Police told an afternoon news conference that Col. Russell Williams, 46, of Tweed, Ont., was arrested Sunday in Ottawa.  He’s charged with the first-degree murder of Jessica Lloyd, 27, of Belleville and Marie Comeau, a 38-year-old corporal with CFB Trenton’s 437 squadron who lived in Brighton.  Lloyd’s body was found earlier Monday in Tweed and a post-mortem is being scheduled at the Coroner’s Office in Toronto. Comeau was found dead in her home Nov. 25, 2009.  Williams is also charged with forcible confinement, break and enter and sexual assault after two women were sexually assaulted during two separate home invasions in the Tweed area in September of 2009. Williams will appear in bail court in Belleville this afternoon.  Lloyd was last heard from the night of Jan. 28 when she sent a text message to a friend.  She was reported missing the next day after she failed to show up for her job with the Tri-Board Student Transportation Services in Napanee.  Williams was appointed as the base commander of CFB Trenton last July.  He enrolled in the Canadian Forces in 1987 after getting a degree in economics and political Science from the University of Toronto.  He got his wings in 1990 and spent two years teaching at the military’s flight training school.  While posted to squadrons in Shearwater, N.S., and Ottawa he flew the CC144 Challenger.  He was promoted to lieutenant colonel in June 2004, and was commanding officer of 437 Squadron in Trenton for two years.  Between December 2005 and June 2006, he was the commanding officer for Camp Mirage, the secretive Canadian Forces forward logistics base that’s not officially acknowledged by the government or military but has been widely reported to be near Dubai.  http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/100208/national/missing_belleville_woman

8 Wing/CFB Trenton has been home base for the Huskies since 1961, providing the wide range of support services essential for the Squadron’s many and varied national and international missions.  437 Squadron is currently equipped with five CC-150 Polaris (A-310 Airbus) Aircraft, a familiar sight not only in the skies around Trenton, but also across Canada and around the world. The Polaris replaced the aging Boeing 707 in April 1997. Their primary role is long-range transport of personnel and equipment – and VIP airlift. Examples include operations in support of the Canadian Forces, NATO and numerous United Nations and Red Cross initiatives. 437 Squadron has earned an excellent reputation in the role of VIP transport. Members of the Royal Family, the Prime Minister, the Governor General and various heads of State have been frequent passengers.Nicknamed the “Husky Squadron”, this unit adopted as its badge a husky’s head indicitive of its function of the glider towing and the transportation of essential freight. The Huskies are proud of their motto “Omnia Passim” (Anytime, Anywhere) and commit themselves to perpetuating their outstanding record of achievement. With some exceptions!

The highly specialized Behavioural Sciences and Analysis Services unit of the Ontario Provincial Police works on violent and sexual crimes and is integrally involved in the investigation that led to Col. Russell Williams being charged this week with two counts each of first-degree murder, forcible confinement and sexual assault.  Based at the OPP general headquarters in Orillia, Ont., about 150 kilometres north of Toronto, the unit was founded in 1995 and now encompasses 110 officers and civilian staff members in four broad areas.

Little more than a week ago,Jan. 29 , a Belleville woman, 27-year-old Jessica Lloyd, was reported missing when she failed to show up for her shift with Tri-Board Student Transportation in the town of Napanee.  Unconfirmed reports indicate next that she was abducted from her home and that Williams’ vehicle may have left behind distinctive tire tracks in the process.  “Russ is pretty meticulous. When he buys a set of tires, he buys the best that’s on the market. I guess they were a particular brand… they had a particular design on the tread,” Her body was found Monday in a secluded area not far from Tweed.

– In their bid to find information about Lloyd’s disappearance, OPP and Belleville police set up a road block on Highway 37 near Belleville on Feb. 4, and stopped and questioned motorists for 11 hours. Last Thursday, on a stretch of rural highway, they set up the equivalent of a RIDE-program spot check, only this time they were looking not for drinking drivers, but certain vehicles.

According to reports, police were looking for winter tires with a distinctive tread design.

Williams came to the attention of police during the roadblock, police have said, although they have not given out any more details.

– Williams was arrested in Ottawa on Sunday and charged with first-degree murder in the deaths of Lloyd, and Comeau. He was also charged with the forcible confinement and sexual assault of the two Tweed women. he is being investigated for possible many more unsolved crimes, murders now as well even elsewhere

OBVIOUSLY A POLITICAL APPOINTEE.. AND ARE THERE MANY MORE LIKE HIM NOW?

CP BELLEVILLE, Ont. – The base commander of CFB TrentonColonel Russell Williams  has been charged with first-degree murder in the deaths of two eastern Ontario women and in the sexual assaults of two other women. News of the charges shocked the small communities in eastern Ontario that are at the center of the police investigation, as well as Canadian Forces Base Trenton, which handles tactical air support flights for Canada’s combat mission in Afghanistan and relief flights for Haiti. Colonel Russell Williams,  showed little interest in repairing the fractured family life that has followed him since he was young.  Two years ago his mother, Nonie, and brother Harvey reached out to Col. Williams in a bid at reconciliation following his parents’ divorce, the second time his  home life was torn asunder.  “Our relationship with him was broken off in early 2001, when our mother’s divorce from my stepfather caused a deep rift between him and my mother and myself,”  “We rarely had any contact until two years ago, when my mother and I tried to find a way to repair the family rift. We have had only minimal contact with him in the past two years. “We were shocked and appalled to learn of the crimes with which Col. Williams is being charged,” he said in a written statement, calling it “alarming and distressing news.” Harvey Williams. Similarly, relatives of Col. Williams’ stepfather, Jerry Sovka, an eminent nuclear scientist, described a family that maintained little contact. Born in England, Col. Williams was still young when his father, David, split with his mother and the two boys continued to live with their mother and new stepfather, Dr. Sovka.  Dr. Sovka  returned to Canada for a job at Atomic Energy Canada Ltd. in Toronto, where he helped design Canada’s early Candu nuclear plants, and later as a senior engineer with Ontario Hydro while the young Col. Williams attended Toronto’s Birchmount Collegiate in east Toronto. Dr. Sovka’s work led him to move several times, including four years in South Korea, a stint with the Montreal-based engineering firm SNC and Point Lepreau Nuclear Generating Station in New Brunswick, and even to Hawaii. Col. Williams remained in Toronto. From 1980 to 1982, he completed high school at Upper Canada College while boarding at the sprawling private boys school.  Col. Williams graduated with a degree in economics and political science from the University of Toronto in 1987 before embarking that same year on a military career while returning to his birth name Williams. As a pilot during the 1990s he flew VIP flights on the federal government’s Challenger aircraft that are used by federal politicians including the prime minister. A series of postings led him to higher rank and greater responsibility. On July 15, 2009, he was named as the commander of CFB Trenton .More charges against Col. Russell Williams, a wing commander at Canadian Forces Base Trenton who is accused of murdering two eastern Ontario women, aren’t being ruled out as the investigation continues.

New Brunswick Premier Shawn Graham

During the 2006 provincial election campaign, Graham promised to maintain the Crown corporation as a publicly owned utility.

Hydro-Quebec would get the majority of NB Power’s assets under a proposed agreement worth nearly $5 billion signed Thursday by New Brunswick Premier Shawn Graham and Quebec Premier Jean Charest.

According to the memorandum of understanding, Hydro-Quebec would buy the assets for $4.75 billion – an amount equivalent to NB Power’s debt – giving Quebec greater capacity to export power to the United States.

Those assets include transmission lines, offices and most generation facilities including the Point Lepreau nuclear power plant.

“This agreement … will also provide Quebec with a strategic geographic position with regards to the markets of Atlantic Canada and New England,” Charest said.

“All Quebecers will benefit from this agreement.”

The premiers of Nova Scotia and Newfoundland and Labrador have warned the deal would give Hydro-Quebec a monopoly that could hinder other power development in the region.

But Graham says there will be opportunity for public debate before the closing date of the deal at the end of March 2010.

Still, he lauded the benefits it would bring to his province.

“The elimination of NB Power’s massive debt will help us attain self-sufficiency and relieve our children and grandchildren of this burden,” he said.

“Homeowners will see rates much lower than under the status quo, and we will now share Quebec’s competitive industrial rates.”

New Brunswick would continue to operate fossil fuel plants at Coleson Cove and Belledune, but phase out the facility at Dalhousie.

Residential power rates in New Brunswick would be frozen for five years, while industrial rates would be reduced to match those in Quebec – a total saving of about $5 billion.

NB Power was created by New Brunswick’s legislature in 1920.

To get elected many premiers make promsies they next do not keep… in BC, Ontario, Quebec, Alberta etc.,

Williams lashes out at Quebec-NB power deal CBC.ca – Newfoundland and Labrador Premier Danny Williams spoke out in St. John’s Thursday against a proposed deal to sell the majority of New Brunswick’s power assets to Quebec.

Williams lashes out at Quebec-N.B. power deal Newfoundland and Labrador Premier Danny Williams spoke out in St. John’s Thursday against a proposed deal to sell the majority of New Brunswick’s power assets to Quebec.Williams said if the deal goes through, it will be bad for Newfoundland and Labrador, the Maritime provinces and Ontario.   “If [Quebec also] acquires P.E.I. and Nova Scotia [power], we will find ourselves in a situation where one province will have energy control of the entire Maritime provinces,” said Williams. “It will be attempting to strand Newfoundland and Labrador. So good, cheap, competitively priced energy, can’t be offered to that whole region.

Quebec-NB power deal a ‘complete capitulation,’ Williams says St. John’s Telegram

The province’s opposition leader said it’s unfair that the proposed deal is giving a rate cut to large industrial clients, but not to residential ratepayers. “The Liberals ran on a promise to NOT sell NB Power. They have no mandate to do this. Go out and ask the people who pay your salary, Premier. It’s our power system that you’re selling, not yours.”  How the hell can government get away with something like this without going to the people….democracy is dead in Canada and has been for years.   http://www.cbc.ca/canada/new-brunswick/story/2009/10/29/nb-alward-election-109.html

Canwest’s debts

TORONTO -Details of Canwest’s debts to other companies outlined in creditor list.   The  list of debts filed on the website of Canwest Global Communication Corp’s court-appointed monitor as it restructures under creditor protection offer a glimpse into the  accrued  finances of this poorly managed Canadian media firm. that owns and manages also the National Post, the  Montreal Gazette, Edmonton Journal and Ottawa Citizen dailies, and  there’s been much speculation about the future of Canwest’s newspapers. The detailed list of nearly 1,000 bills and debts shows that the insolvent media conglomerate owes from a handful of dollars to millions to a long list of companies, including television production houses, taxi firms and a florist. Imagine that owning money to a taxi firm too.. Unbelievable.  The bills are  comprised mainly, but not solely  of   corporate expenses for a company that owns dozens of newspapers, the Global TV network, and web properties – now do stretch as high as several million dollars. The Winnipeg-based media giant has been unable to pay such operating expenses as it struggles with $4 billion in corporate debt.  Canwest hopes to restructure its business and emerge from creditor protection by the end of January. ” In documents filed earlier this month, the court outlined stipulations that allowed Canwest to continue receiving services deemed essential to its operations, like television programming, while it restructures”

Let me be simply clear about it. I rightfully do along with many others have no respect to Canwest or any of it’s news media actual or supposedly credibility, and that of all of it’s affiliates now as well,  when firstly they could not, cannot even properly manage their business, and pay their debts. Definitely they are unprofessionally managed. So how can they Canwest even exemplarily continue now try to present, write about any of the news occurring now too. How dare they also now hypocritically, write about, criticize any  other firms, persons operation, related management too  now as well when Canwest itself is, has been undeniably guilty of extremely  poor management.

Here is what all politicians, cops, pastors too,

King_John

Here is what all politicians, cops, pastors too, in fact  all persons need to learn..

A good name is worth more than any amount of material wealth, silver and gold you do try to acquire, pursue at any costs, because still most people next really do hate it  when next many other people talk bad about them, despise  them openly to others, and they do often next regret having done all the bad things that have now led them to a very low name, a tarnished and a disrespected one.

0ottawa,PARLIAMENT

Most people also find out that spending a lot of effort pursing a glorified  career in the end had a very costly price to pay, for they have put in a lot of time and energy, some even wasted too, while they could have rather being doing something good instead, rather had been with their family and friends.

The human rights abuse  of anyone next very shortly has a big drastic, personal price to pay as well..
businessman

Stealing is not worth it for what you steal next tends not to bring you the happiness you originally had thought it would, so you continue to look for happiness, ironically some by continuing to steal..

The bad friends, and bad acquaintances  lead to very bad company and  corrupting irreversibly generally one’s personal morality even more.

Real Estate is STILL FOUR things, Cyclical,  Seasonal, Emotional, misleading

Why is there this sudden need to prophesy an end to the recession and to project a present  Real Estate recovery Canada wide? is it basically due to the fact the Real Estate sales, Home Construction and the  related  DEMAND FOR LOANS actually now slows down almost almost to NIL during the FALL AND WINTER months?
