The essential Political, Relgious, Christian truths

Personal depression is also related to having a God shaped vacuum in our own life, and from deviating from God, his words in the Bible, God’s will and plan for our life too.

God is the center of the Universe, and not any man, mankind. Man’s sin includes falsely still doing his own thing, following after mere men instead of God.
The Bible is the word of God, is God’s complete truth, it is all inspired, written by God himself, and it is still teaches us filly God’s truths that we must know, follow, practice today as well.
Jesus is God and he undeniably loves each one of us that he died for our sins so we can accept his forgiveness and be with him in Heaven. Everyone can be solely saved by Jesus Christ alone, Jews included, and there is no other way a person can be saved from hell.
The Holy Spirit is  a person, the sprit of Jesus Christ, and whether some admit it or not, like it or not his gifts are all in operation today including the gift of prophecy, speaking in tongues, interpretation of tongues, healing, deliverance as well. The Holy sprit is given to us to help each one of us personal walk in reality the Christian life.
God does and can speak to us also outside of the Bible as well, he through His son Jesus, the Holy Spirit leads and guides us personally too, and we all can and must learn how to listen to, hear  his voice.
Prayer is an essential ongoing aspect of God’s will for each one of us, we must give God permission to act here on earth and in our life, and we all must personally seek, follow, get to now  know his ongoing  will for each one us as well.
– A daily quite time, Biblical devotions and prayer is a must for every person.
We have a responsibility to share the good news with others, and  to look after our own family, as well as to help the poor and needy persons as well.
There’s only one place we all, each  can be saved, and that is  here on earth for  after death  it is too late for everyone to be saved.
All sin is still an affront against God and each sin must be daily, continually admitted, repented, turned from  as well, including cheating, lying, stealing, adultery, fornication, alcoholism, drunkenness, divorce, abusing ourselves and others too.
God is not mocked, in spite of His grace of forgiveness, next what a person continues to willfully, deliberately sow, do wrong as well, they next will also reap here on earth and elsewhere.
Jesus Christ alone is still the head of the Church and not any man, pastor, elder, priests, apostle, prophet.
(Isa 66:3 KJV) He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog’s neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine’s blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations.

(Ezek 6:13 KJV) Then shall ye know that I am the LORD, when their slain men shall be among their idols round about their altars, upon every high hill, in all the tops of the mountains, and under every green tree, and under every thick oak, the place where they did offer sweet savour to all their idols.

(Psa 35:13 KJV) But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth: I humbled my soul with fasting; and my prayer returned into mine own bosom.

It seems that many people, professing Christians included now, tend to personally only seek God only when they have serious needs, problems or they do want something really bad and next when the problem is solved, or they got what they wanted, they next often tend to, do seem to forget about God again? But even all Christians now still do have major problems in life.. for there is a real devil who troubles us personally all of our life and we we are to resist him in the faith.. True happiness cannot be in reality achieved without having a continual, personal relationship with God here on earth and us continually knowing and following solely his will of our life too, instead of Idols.    Why is God jealous of idols before us? well it means he is envious for our own good.. he strives for all things to be our good… What idols? what ever replaces God is an idol.. what ever you falsely worship as substitute for God. And it can be drugs, booze, sex, or your wife, son , daughter, a persons, car,  self, even your church, your pastor, your denomination, your own doctrines, beliefs, your culture, your nationality … for we all had or  have a god shaped vacuum in our life.. but  filling it with extremes or  false substitutes, junk will never be acceptable to God. Never. If you still do have a God shaped vacuum that is unfilled, then no other things, no relationships or careers, goals, next will satisfy you, not even any personal, social, community relationships, acts.  Hey I also have learned long time ago that merely telling the truth to some people will not work, they have their false idols, false lies they still want to handle, and they will take the Ostrich approach to the truth, but hopefully the truth will next still help some people. http://witnessed.wordpress.com/2012/02/05/you-can-have-no-idols-before-god-ever/
(Psa 118:9 KJV) It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.
.
(Psa 146:3 KJV) Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.
The LORD rightfully is my shepherd.. not man… (Lev 19:4 KJV) Turn ye not unto idols, nor make to yourselves molten gods: I am the LORD your God.(Lev 26:1 KJV) Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the LORD your God.

And No idols includes one’s pastor, one’s denomination, religious club… Man’s best is too often just more hatred, murder, abuse…. 70 percent of today’s pastors are also crooked cause they are ungodly, unsaved hirelings, wolves in sheep clothing, not called by God pastors trying to make money, a career of the ministry.. this is unacceptable… that is why they too readily do lie, counsel divorce, slander, abuse others.

Canadian Catholics flee Liberals in droves

A Catholic Priest had rightfully said that the professing Christian the now ex Liberal  Prime Minister Paul Martin should be excommunicated from the Catholic church also, FOR HIS SUPPORTING GAYS, GAY MARRIAGES, AND NEVER MIND HIM ALSO SUPPORTING ABORTION AND ALCOHOLISM, and while the Liberal spin doctors next  said this was a non critical issue, well it appears Paul Martin should have   been  excommunicated from the Church but  should have also been also excommunicated from the Liberal party for  HIM BEING ONE OF THE MAIN REASONS HIS PARTY LOST DEFEAT TO THE NEW CONSERVATIVE PARTY AND IT NO LONGER CAN GET BACK  UP ON IT’S FEET AS A RESULT IT SEEMS TOO.

Finally in  Canada the LIBERAL NEWS MEDIA IS NOW SERIOUSLY RECOGNIZING, NOTICING THE EFFECT OF THE RELIGIOUS PERSON’S VOTES.. it is kind of  too late for them and others to do it too once they the relgious right  had helped to form and to elect  the Reform Party to eliminate next the Progressive Conservative federally and also had next helped to form, elect the new Conservative Party to to defeat the Liberals..

I have been detailing for decades the significant influence in Canada  that the Christian priests and pastors have on their congregation, others. Few people had wanted to admit it at all.

So the Federal   Liberals for their past support of gays, abortions are now paying a big  price for it .. they are even broke.. no money.. and had lost too many supporters.. they reaped what they had sowed..

Liberal G Kennedy in Ontario is the choice of the religious right as well. Thanks to even ex PM Paul Martin  who seems to be dreaming of a comeback too Canadian Catholics flee the Liberal Party  in droves too.

“Catholics flee Liberals in droves  Catholics have always voted Liberal, until recently As Canada’s once-mighty Liberals consider their future, they might be advised to visit a local church-and not just to pray for the party. The religious vote, it seems, played a major role in their recent election defeat. According to new data from Angus Reid Strategies provided exclusively to Maclean’s, Catholics-who make up 44 per cent of Canada’s population and have preferred the Liberals for decades-are flocking to the Conservatives. Catholic voters back parties that are community-minded, says Andrew Grenville, Angus Reid’s chief research officer. And in 2006, for the first time, they shifted their support to the Tories. This year’s results confirm the trend: outside Quebec, 49 per cent of Catholics who attend church weekly voted Conservative, compared to just 38 per cent in 2004. Within Quebec, where upwards of 80 per cent of the population identifies as Catholic, the switch away from the Liberals is even more striking. In 2008, just 22 per cent of Quebec Catholics voted Liberal, compared to 56 per cent in 2004. “Looks like we have a new status quo,” Grenville says. It’s not just Catholics who’ve had a change of heart. Protestants, who make up 30 per cent of the population, tend to split their vote between the two major parties, but over the last four years, there’s been a big shift toward the Tories. In 2008, 64 per cent of church-going Protestants outside of Quebec chose the Conservatives, compared to 51 per cent in 2004. Voters who attend so-called conservative churches (such as Baptist, Mennonite, and Stephen Harper’s own Christian and Missionary Alliance) prefer the Tories in even greater numbers: a whopping three-quarters of them voted Conservative this year. What does it mean? “The Liberals have alienated their base, which shows how weak their support really is,” Grenville says, adding that he isn’t very optimistic about the party’s immediate future. “I can’t see Bob Rae or Michael Ignatieff appealing to that vote either, which is in part why their prospects aren’t too bright.”

And my own experiences with Canadian liberal news media, liberals, liberal politicians are so blind they had undeniably now underestimated the starch of the all of evangelical churches, who had themselves formed the Reform, Alliance, and the new Conservative party, and next had wiped out both the old Conservatives under Brian Mulroney, and the Liberals under Jean Chrétien and Paul Martin.. I saw it coming , wrote about it 2 decades ago, but you did don’t see it coming. Do get an honest job now.. http://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2008/08/07/the-spin-game-evangelicals-and-their-leaders-pastors-do-play-now/

“SUSAN LAZARUK and ANGUS LOTEN Montreal Gazette Just four people turned out for a rally against gay marriages in front of Paul Martin’s constituency office in LaSalle yesterday afternoon. Calling themselves “true Christians,” the tiny group joined hundreds of others across the country yesterday at what they called a national prayer vigil urging MPs to vote against same-sex marriage legislation. Organizers had hoped to draw 100,000 people to more than 200 prayer rallies across Canada. “I have nothing against gay unions. What I don’t like is the prime minister telling us what to do in our churches,” said Paul Kambulow. Kambulow said he learned about the rallies, organized by a coalition of religious groups, over the Internet. “I believe in democracy and God plus one is a majority vote,” he said. Martin, who could not be reached for comment, was not in his office yesterday. Elsewhere in Montreal, similar prayer vigils also appeared to fizzle, as few people showed up at the riding offices of other federal MPs. Journalists outnumbered protesters in front of Justice Minister Martin Cauchon’s office. “Same-sex marriage is completely opposed to God, his principles and why he formed man and woman,” said Jackie Bourque, one of nine protesters, including a couple of children, who gathered on the steps of Cauchon’s office. “He did not form Adam and Steve, but Adam and Eve.”

PS Only 4 persons had showed up to pray against the then Prime Minister Paul Martin MP and he Paul Martin unexpectedly, unbelievably shortly after that had lost his office of Prime Minister, and why did so many people show up in the first place? God only needed 2 persons to agree in prayer on this in Jesus name and he would have acted upon it as well. The prayer meetings had fizzled out? you now got to be joking.. they had did their job.

Report card: Failed- Canada’s hospitals and Health Ministers

0family-doctor

And you did know that many people tend to get more sick around these holidays and often die as well.

Hospitals in Canada are mainly still here for the good care, safety, health of the patients. But this is not happening too often. For example- All the hospitals must exercise “the greatest control over all aspects of the work over all of the staff, doctors, nurses, technicians included . But undeniably in Quebec too too many nursing employees were, are working for private agencies outside the hospital, so a full accountability, control is clearly lacking. Even in Quebec now there still is a growing reliance by hospitals, old age homes, on using private nursing agencies. Bad nurses and bad doctors rarely face any negative personal consequences. The gravy trains have to be discontinued.

The Quebec government itself now for decades is soft on crime and is wrongfully reluctant to punish any of the bad guys cause they would likely have to start also with themselves. http://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2011/10/03/positive-changes-need-to-start-at-the-top/

Which now reminds me can you please tell me specially the statistics per province, and city, as to the actual number of people who had died in 2010 due to a hospital acquired sickness? Specifically
1: Shit disease, C-difficile
2: Gastritis- food poisonings
3: VRE

Some things seem to never change, such as cold calloused, pretentious governmental Ministers, Health Ministers and their subordinates especially  included mostly all  who really do not care if the others live or die, as long as they alone survive  it seems still too. http://thenonconformer2.wordpress.com/2010/08/08/so-who-what-are-the-causes-of-our-inadequate-medicare-in-canada/

It seems our Prime ministers, Premiers, politicians care only about the medical care they get.

I could not help but notice and read often the great newspaper articles about heart care tips.. but what about all of those people where these same  tips are too late and the mostly pretentious health care is not there now for them.. how does any of this help them but who really cares?

Now face it to get get real health care you have to go to the emergency department of a big hospital and you first have to get the attention of the emergency department, the triage  care givers, that is if you can get past those preeminent security guards there, those too often pretentious triage nurses, medical interns who screen all the patients firstly.

But if you still are not dumb to recognize that now hiring 12 nurses or 6 medical interns who get the same pay as one doctor cannot, does not make up, compose even one qualified medical doctor firstly as well you tend to get what you deserve it seems…

Most Nurses have 2 years of training while the real doctors have at least a decade, so they the real doctors do have both a deeper and wider applicable   knowledge base too.

In Canada, many people, citizens  are needlessly dying because the hospital infection rates continued to rise  and all of the Health Ministers should be hung for this now immediately too, for murder, and I have been now saying that rightfully and openly for years now too.. do immediately deal with it. Report Card” Canada’s hospitals and Health Ministers are really  not doing enough to fight infections: while the Doctors take big pay cheques still home

The C. difficile nightmare goes on too

Despite political focus post-SARS, hospital infection rates  The Canadian Press –  TORONTO – Toronto’s SARS crisis and Quebec’s C. difficile nightmare drew political attention – and additional funding – to the problem of hospital-acquired infections.

“CP Despite political focus post-SARS, hospital infection rates continued to rise   TORONTO — Toronto’s SARS crisis and Quebec’s C. difficile nightmare drew political attention – and additional funding – to the problem of hospital-acquired infections. But despite that, rates of these infections continued to rise in the years immediately following the outbreaks, a new study reveals. Rates of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus – known as MRSA – more than doubled in the period from 1999 to 2005, said the study, which was based on a survey of Canadian hospitals with more 80 or more patient beds.  Clostridium difficile infections ( shit  disease ) also rose over that period and the number of hospitals reporting new cases of infection with vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus climbed 77 per cent over the period. “Despite the two major communicable diseases – SARS and C. difficile – despite the emphasis by the Canadian Public Safety Institute on safer health care, despite all those things, our institutional approaches to infection control have changed remarkably little,” said Dr. Andrew Simor, head of microbiology at Toronto’s Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. Simor was not involved in the study. “And the outcomes, as a result, have gone in the wrong direction.” The survey was conducted in 2006 by researchers from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ont., and was a follow-up to an earlier survey conducted in 1999. Both were funded by the Public Health Agency of Canada. The results, which will be published in the December issue of the American Journal of Infection Control, showed that while hospitals reported an increase in staff devoted to infection control, increasing numbers of patients fell prey to hospital-acquired infections. There were 5.2 cases of MRSA per 1,000 hospital admissions in 2005, up from two per 1,000 in 1999. There was also an upward trend in C. difficile infections, and the number of hospitals reporting new cases of infection with VRE soared. “We have to roll up our sleeves,” said lead author Dr. Dick Zoutman, head of infection control at Kingston General Hospital. But while the numbers don’t look good, the director of infectious disease prevention and control with Ontario’s public health agency raised a couple of important caveats. Dr. Michael Gardam suggested hiring new infection control staff is only one step in improving a hospital’s infection control performance. Real improvement requires a commitment and effort from all those involved in patient care in an institution, he said – and that takes time. “Rome wasn’t built in a day,” Gardam said. “You need to have more infection control practitioners. And you need to bring about culture change. And just doing the resources side of things I don’t believe will actually get you there.” Gardam also suggested the numbers might have been worse but for the injection of resources that followed the 2003 SARS outbreak and the C. difficile crisis, which first came to light in 2004. “Probably we are having an impact, we are slowing the increase,” said Gardam, who was not involved in the study. “But we’re not actually achieving a real steady state and we’re not actually seeing a decrease.” That’s especially worrying given the current state of the economy, said both Zoutman and Simor, who noted that infection control efforts are an easy target when hospitals are trying to cut costs. “I’m concerned now that it’s more challenging economic times … that we don’t lose (sight of) this,” said Zoutman. “Because it’s a false economy. It’s penny wise, pound foolish.” “

More causes of health problems.  Melamine is sometimes illegally added to food products in order to increase the apparent protein content. Manufacturers knowingly and intentionally mix Melamine, which has some rather nasty ingredients, in our milk. To mix this product, they needed the use of formaldehyde, which is a very toxic and nasty ingredient in itself. Where has the integrity of our products gone? It seems like in the venture of profit many companies will trick and deceive customers into believing whatever they are ingesting is good for them. One important matter though is that, it is not only China who is doing such acts. Many companies everywhere are also putting toxic ingredients in our food and beverages without exactly telling us about it. http://augustafreepress.com/2008/10/13/haresh-daswani-watching-what-you-eat/

Medical tests

We trust  the medical tests being done, but how effective are they, and what they have a 50 percent error rate still, even the blood tests or xrays and they all do have to be often redone, at least 3 times or replaced with another more valid  medical test? or what you did not know this too?

Secondly most of the initial doctor  prescribed medical test for potentially serious  heart problems are really pretentious, cheap, ineffective, basically  all useless, and are mostly now used because the real valid medical tests such as the Echocardiogram   are mostly unavailable and too costly to be used immediatley too, for most people who reallly do need them.
“Some noninvasive Heart tests, and not all of them are fully effective even.. most tests still do require professional diagnostic experiences solely by quailfied cardiologists.
  • Resting electrocardiogram (ECG or EKG)
  • Signal-averaged electrocardiogram (SAECG)
  • Chest X-ray
  • Holter monitor (ambulatory electrocardiogram)
  • Echocardiogram
  • Exercise stress test
  • Computed tomography (CT) scan
  • Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
  • Magnetic resonance angiography (MRA
The  echocardiogram is a test in which ultrasound is used to examine the heart. The equipment is far superior to that used by fishermen. In addition to providing single-dimension images, known as M-mode echo that allows accurate measurement of the heart chambers, the echocardiogram also offers far more sophisticated and advanced imaging. The first test that should be done for most people with potential heart problems often seems rather firstly reserved for the pregnant mothers rather still too.” http://www.heartsite.com/html/echocardiogram.html
Based on that above  facts alone a triage Medical  doctor said today to me that he would love to hire me to help out in his emergency clinic, since few people do now even have that essential knowledge of the causes of  medical heart problems grasp, and what about you?  Or are you another one of those people who will let most of the really sick and needy  heart patients die next needlessly too by doing nothing good about it too?

The parents Lisa Guerin and Jonathan Hope  of a 16-month-old girl who died  are guilty of failing to provide the necessities of life, a judge ruled The two were ordered to stay in custody until March 19, 2010 when a date will be set for sentencing. This also applies to all bad doctors and nurses, Health ministers now too  who fail to adequately look after any sick patient.

Here is some more abuse details  I rightfully do not accept at all not even quietly now too

After the elections Sarah Palin

Now that the election is over, and Barack Obama has been elected as the 44th President… are we still going to hear about Sarah Palin? Or will her name become obsolete? After elections, the opponent that loses usually disappears within a week after the election… but this is Sarah Palin we’re talking about…

75 percent of evenagelcials still did not vote for Obama, or 49 percent of the voting US population..

“The media is already harping on the fact that 60 percent of voters expressed doubts about Sarah Palin being ready to take over as President should something happen to John McCain.

But if you study the exit polls carefully, there is no evidence that this fact actually influenced the vote.

When people were asked if Palin’s presence on the ticket was an important factor in their decision, 60 percent answered yes, 33 percent no. But of the 60 percent that said yes, 56 percent ended up voting McCain versus 43 percent Obama.

On the other hand, of the 33 percent that said no, only 33 percent voted McCain versus 64 percent Obama.

What does this mean? People who thought Palin’s presence on the ticket was important were more likely to vote McCain by a significant margin. So the media is allowing their bias to influence the interpretation of the data.

You can look even closer than that. Palin was picked specifically to influence a few key demographics for the Republicans – women, independents, white evangelicals and gun owners:

– White women voted McCain/Palin 53-46. That’s within the margin of error for how Bush/Cheney score with the same group in 2004, 55-44.

– White independents voted McCain/Palin 49-47. There are no comparable data on this group for 2004, but we do know that independents went for Kerry 49-48 in 2004, and 52-44 for Obama this year. It’s safe to conclude that the swing to Obama in this category was caused by non-white independents voting overwhelmingly for the Democratic ticket.

– White evangelical/born again cCristians voted McCain/Palin 74-24 in 2008, which is slightly lower than the 78-21 breakdown in 2004. But their share of the total vote was larger this time than last time (26 percent in 2008 versus 23 percent in 2004), so on balance the white evangelical/born again contribution to the Republican vote was probably about the same size as it was in 2004.

– Gun owners voted for McCain/Palin in the same numbers they voted for Bush/Cheney last time round: 62-37 in 2008 versus 63-36 in 204

So, in those four major target groups, Palin delivered the goods for the McCain campaign. These are groups that were skeptical about McCain before Palin joined the ticket.

In all four categories, the McCain/Palin share of the vote was virtually identical to the Bush/Cheney share in 2004. That seemed impossible before Sarah Palin.

Sarah Palin will be a force to be reckoned with over the next four years.”

Sarah Palin In 2012

It was a teary-eyed Sarah Palin who waved to the crowd in Phoenix last night and is now on her way home to Alaska to split time as Governor and Mom.

She has a son in Iraq, a daughter pregnant and an infant with Down Syndrome.

She has her hand’s full.

But she has made it clear that this is not the last we will see of Sarah Palin.

“I’m not doing this for naught,” Palin said last week, when asked if all the mudslinging in the campaign made her long for a return to the more sedate politics of Alaska, where she is governor.

After McCain’s stinging loss, Palin, 44, has emerged as one of the strongest brands the Republicans have got.

As one of the most recognisable figures in a party searching for direction and new leadership, Palin’s future role will be a major theme when Republican heavyweights weigh up strategies for the 2010 mid-term congressional elections.

“She definitely is going to be the most popular Republican in this country when this thing is over,” Republican strategist Ed Rollins, and former political director to president Ronald Reagan, told CNN before the election.

And the carefully coiffed conservative Christian who cast herself as a maverick, a reformer and an anti-corruption star, has clearly indicated the 2008 run wasn’t an end-all to her national political ambitions.

“I think that, if I were to give up and wave a white flag of surrender against some of the political shots that we’ve taken, that would bring this whole” endeavour to nothing, Palin told ABC last week.

In the last pre-election episode of NBC’s Saturday Night Live, comedienne Tina Fey, in her much lauded role impersonating Palin, made a show of “going rogue” from the McCain campaign talking points by trying to hawk “Palin 2012” t-shirts.

At Republican rallies in recent weeks supporters too have been seen displaying “Palin 2012″ shirts and banners.

There has been talk in Hollywood of Sarah Palin getting a talk show; talk in Washington of Sarah Palin as the best fundraiser the Republicans have; talk in Alaska of Sarah Palin running for the Senate.

There is a world of options in front of Sarah Palin. She is the star of the Republican Conservative base and if you think she will stay in Alaska for long – you’re wrong.”

The Faith Factor 2008 vs. 2004 — Exit Polls

“”We worship an awesome God in the blue states,” Barack Obama declared during his 2004 Democratic convention keynote. Thunderous applause greeted that line, in part because Democrats felt frustrated that they’d been unfairly cast as a secular or even anti-religion party, and by the political dominance of religious conservatives.”

The Rise of the Religious Left. But clearly Obama still did not get the evangelical votes.

Ten Faith Factors for Election Night

1.How Many Obamagelicals Are There? – It might seem farfetched that a socialist-terror-lovin’-pro-abortion candidate like Obama could win any evangelical Christians but he’s been courting them fervently since he began his presidential run. The key the 40% of evangelicals who call themselves “moderate” or “liberal.” Point of reference: John Kerry won 21% of white evangelicals, Gore 18%. Bill Clinton in 1996 won 26%.

2.  Will Palin Turn Out the “Religious Right”? — By picking Sarah Palin, John McCain gambled that she’d be able to rev up the evangelical “base.” Even as her popularity has fallen generally, evangelicals still love her (some even believing she was sent to battle the anti-Christ.) Assuming most conservative evangelicals vote for McCain, the second question is: how many will show up? Point of reference: white evangelicals accounted for 23% of the electorate in 2004.

3. Do Midwestern Evangelicals Split With Their Brethren? — Recent polls have showed Obama trailing badly among evangelicals in Florida and Colorado but doing quite well with them in Michigan, Ohio and

Pennsylvania. If he succeeds there, he may have tapped into regional differences in style, theology and politics and launch a new era in faith-and-politics punditry, in which we no longer talk about “the evangelical vote” as a geographically uniform phenomenon.4. Will Catholics Ignore Their Bishops? – The overall Catholic vote has gone with the popular vote winner every election since 1968. Catholic Bishops have been urging Catholic voters to vote for pro-life candidates but a majority of Catholic voters are now pro-choice so it remains to be seen what influence the church will have. (Obama is also winning with the 100-year-old-nuns bloc) Another factor in Obama’s favor: a higher percentage of the Catholic vote will be Latino this year. Last election, George W. Bush won the Catholic 52%-46%.

5. Can Obama Finally Bowl a Strike With Skeptical White Catholics? – During the primaries, Obama did poorly with white Catholics, often working class ethnics or their offspring. Remember his feeble attempt to curry favor through bowling? They tend to be culturally conservative and haven’t voted for a Democrat since 1996. On the other hand, they’re especially concerned about the economy this year, and Joe Biden has been trying to bond with them as a fellow “cultural Catholics.” Point of reference: In 2004, Bush won 56% of white Catholics, Kerry 43%.

6. Will Whitebread Protestants Back the Black Guy? – Recent polls show Democrats gaining with a group that had leaned Republican for most of the past few decades – Mainline Protestants. It appears that while Sarah Palin energized evangelicals, she may have alienated some Mainliners. In 2004, they went for President George W. Bush 54%-46%.

7. Will Latino Protestants Vote Their Values or the Pocketbook? – One positive trend for Obama will likely be the shift of Latinos from the Republican side, where they resided in 2004, to the Democrats. The hidden religious story: most of the shift is driven by Latino Protestants. Many are evangelical and liked Bush’s Christian faith and his conservative positions on social issues (gay marriage, abortion) but have shifted to Obama because of the economy and concerns about immigration.

8. How Will the Kinda-Sorta Religious Vote? – In recent elections, the most religious you were, the more likely you were to vote Republican. This is known as the God Gap, which will still certainly exist. But watch for two things: among weekly churchoers how big is McCain’s margin? Bush won that group 61%-39% Second, Kerry last time beat Bush among more occasional churchgoers 53%-47%. Will Obama increase that margin?

9. Will Jews Schlep to Republican Side? – This only really matters in

Florida, and even there it doesn’t matter as much as you’d think (Jews made up 5% of the electorate there in 2004). Early polls had Obama struggling among Jews – in part because of fears about his former church’s connections to Louis Farrakhan — but more recently he’s caught up, possibly because Jews fear that Sarah Palin is an extreme evangelical. Or possibly the Sarah Silverman factor. Jews reportedly went about 75%-25% for Kerry.10. Will the GOP Become the ROP? – Will Republicans become the Religiously Oriented Party? In 2004, white evangelicals made up 36% of Bush voters.
Will that go up or down? If it becomes an even more dominant force within the party, how will that shape either the way McCain governs if he wins or, if he loses, how the Republicans re-invent themselves.

so what do you say  about the faith factor…

Though the economy clearly was the defining issue of the election, Obama forged a new coalition by luring millions of religious left voters who had avoided Democrats in recent years.

In short:

He narrowed the God Gap. Bush beat Kerry among weekly church-goers by 61%-39%. McCain is beating Obama 54%-44% Most of that gain appears to have come from Protestants rather than Catholics

He won Catholics back. Early exit polls indicate he won 54% of the Catholic vote compared to 45% for John McCain. George W. Bush won the Catholic vote 52%-46%. Most of those gains came from Catholics who don’t attend mass weekly.

He also improved among white Catholics, according to the early exit polls. Bush got 56%-43% As of now, McCain lead by just 51%-49% This was despite an aggressive push by more than 50 Bishops to encourage Catholics to focus on abortion as the central issue.

He man real gainst among Evangelicals. Evangelicals and Born Again Christians made up a greater portion of the electorate this year than last election but that didn’t all accrue to McCain’s benefit, as predict. Obama improved slightly on a national level, getting 25% compared to Kerry’s 21%

But far more important, he made significant progress in the pivotal rustbelt states that won him the election. For instance, evangelicals flooded the polls in Ohio and Obama significantly improved on Kerry’s showing.

He attracted more Mainline Protestants — Though shifting toward the center in recent years, mainline Protestants — once a core of the Republican party — – still went for the Republicans in 2004. The exit polls didn’t ask specifically about mainline Protestants but it appears Obama improved slightly with this group.

He energized the lightly religious. Though secular voters already voted Democratic, they did so by an even bigger margin this year. Even more important, a quarter of the electorate says they go to worship services but only a few times a year. Kerry won that group with 54%-45%. Obama won 61%-38%

BREAKING: Catholic Shift to Obama

The rap on Obama during the primaries was that he couldn’t win because he struggled with Catholics. Apparently, he got past that. Early exit polls indicate he won 54% of the Catholic vote compared to 45% for John McCain….

Obama Luring Rest Belt Evangelicals But Not Southerners

Obama seems to have made far more progress with Born Again Christians in rust belt states than in the South. Based on preliminary exit polls: Florida: 78%-20% (McCain-Obama) Virginia: 78%-21% Ohio: 70%-29% Indiana: 66%-32%

BREAKING: Weekly Churchgoers vs. Occasionals

One thing that puzzles me about these numbers: Obama’s progress among Catholics is with those who don’t attend mass weekly. But among Protestants, he improved among those who do attend weekly. One possible theory: abortion. Mass-attending Catholics are more likely…

News reporting these days tends to be Unprofessional

I have known now for half a century that news reporting these days tends to be Unprofessional, whether it is the Times, CNN or what ever, for News reporting has too often now become lies, spins, desertions , contradictory even.. no  wonder many people stop buying news papers, do not believe necessary all they hear and read as well, especially in Canada now too  it seems the Vancouver Sun, Calgary Sun, Calgary Herald, Edmonton Journal, the National Post, and many many others now too. So now also  the cops they also do  tend to be unprofessional  it seems as well. Why?

Do now simply go the the Google Canadian http://news.google.ca/  or the US version  http://news.google.ca/news?ned=us   of the news and read about the same subjects first

 for example
– The Canadian federal elections, related political parties and their leaders
– The US federal  elections, related political parties and their leaders

and as you read you will see the news editors, news reporters, columnist offering you now their gossip, their opinion, their lies, their slanders, spins  too often and not the balanced, impartial, professional fair , honest facts firstly to allow you to make the right decision on your own.. and too often they even do immorally bully, bash others no as well..

sad.. this is all really sad and unacceptable still too

“The Canadian 2008 federal election campaign will go down as one of the nastiest in recent political memory.  There was no mistaking the steady use of U.S.-style political attack ads by almost all of the parties. We witnessed just about everything: from a pooping puffin defecating on Liberal leader Stéphane Dion’s shoulder to Conservative leader Stephen Harper being inextricably linked to lame-duck U.S. President George W. Bush.” But did  these attack ads actually work? clearly they  were they successful in producing such a strong showing for Canada’s Prime Minister Mr. Harper in yesterday’s vote? “Some pundits and party operatives argue that attack ads are merely part of the cut and thrust of politics. They maintain that we need to know both the good and the “bad” about our prospective political representatives.  Not surprisingly, they have no hesitation about saying that these ads are very effective during election campaigns. To be sure, the very fact that political parties continue to use them is proof positive of their electoral value and import. These same analysts would quickly point to the “Willie Horton” ad in the 1988 U.S. presidential campaign — used by George Bush Sr. to paint his Democratic challenger, Michael Dukakis, as soft on crime for supporting weekend furloughs for murderers when governor of Massachusetts — to highlight just how powerful these attacks can be. Others will single out the “Swift Boat” attacks against former presidential candidate John Kerry in 2004 to buttress their argument. For them, these ads enabled the sponsoring party to define their opponent in a very negative light. And if the target of the ad doesn’t respond immediately and forcefully, that individual risks being framed in an inauspicious fashion — as Mr. Dion knows only too well. The ads work, then, because the negative image tends to stay longer in the mind of the hapless voter. Furthermore, those voters sitting on the fence or undecided about their party preference are likely most susceptible to this type of electoral messaging.” And we will see more not less of them but THE ADVERTISING MONEY AVAILABLE STILL DID NOT GIVE THE TORIES  HERE THEIR DESIRED MAJORITY GOVERNMENT AND WHY WAS THAT? WAS IT ALL A WASTE OF MONEY RATHER, THE ELECTION NOW INCLUDED? http://anyonecare.wordpress.com/2008/10/15/canada-harper-failed-again-in-an-attempt-to-win-majority-government/

“Other observers and commentators argue just the opposite — namely, that these attack ads have little impact or staying power during an election campaign. In addition, they contend that the more discerning voter would not be influenced by this kind of political appeal.” And that on the contrary such adds will clearly rather cause a backlash, cause more people to van support the person being attack as has clearly happened in the republican vice president nominee Sarah Palin TO THE CLEAR, ADMITTED FRUSTRATIONS NOW OF THE DEMOCRATS IN REALITY.

In reality Genuine Born Again, Evangelical, Christians are total abstainers from smoking, drugs, alcohol, cheating, lying, stealing, tax evasions, pornography, or rather all personal vices, Impairments, gay sex now too.

Clearly ** The Bible teaches against drinking alcoholic beverages.

The liars and the demons  of course will say other wise.

The Sarah Palin effect has clearly perturbed the Democrats
