Pastors do not have to break the law.

“Endorsing from the Pulpit Pastors launch challenge of IRS rules on endorsements.

Pastor Gus Booth remembers when he used to simply encourage his congregation of 150 in Warroad, Minn., to vote each Election Day. Now, he thinks it’s important to tell them which candidate should get their vote. On Sunday, as part of the “Pulpit Initiative” organized by an Arizona-based conservative Christian legal group, Booth is set to join dozens of clergy nationwide in challenging Internal Revenue Service rules that prohibit churches from politicking by supporting or opposing candidates. “If we can tell you what to do in the bedroom, we can certainly tell you what to do in the voting booth,” said the Minnesota minister, an evangelical leader of a nondenominational church, who expects to endorse Republican John McCain during his “Pulpit Freedom Sunday” sermon. “The voting booth is not some sort of sacred cow that you can’t talk about. You’re supposed to bring the gospel into every area of life.” The Alliance Defense Fund announced the initiative last May as a way to challenge IRS rules that date to 1954. ADF spokesman Greg Scott said the organization contacted “pastors, priests and rabbis from every major denomination,” and knows of 33 clergy in 23 states who intend to take part on Sunday. At least one clergyman who was contacted joined in filing a complaint against the initiative with the IRS. “We’re basically aiming to get these rules declared unconstitutional so that pastors have the right to speak freely from the pulpit without fear of punishment,” said Dale Schowengerdt, legal counsel for the ADF. “http://www.christianitytoday.com/ct/2008/septemberweb-only/139-41.0.html

“Pulpit Initiative About Freedom, not Politics

The purpose of the Alliance Defense Fund’s Pulpit Initiative is to restore the right of pastors to speak freely from the pulpit without fear of punishment by the government for doing what churches do: speak on any number of cultural and societal issues from a biblical perspective. The purpose of the Pulpit Initiative is not – as some have said to confuse the issue – about whether pastors should or should not “endorse” candidates. The issue with which ADF is concerned is over who regulates what may be said from the pulpit.

So, the Pulpit Initiative is not about…

· turning the church into a Political Action Committee
· allowing contributions to candidates
· any particular candidate or political party
· “political” speech
· endorsing or opposing candidates

The Pulpit Initiative is…

· a bold defense of the First Amendment’s Establishment, Free Exercise, and Free Speech clauses
· about protecting core religious expression
· only related to what a pastor says from his pulpit, for example, on a Sunday morning (i.e., not about voter guides, candidate appearances, or other “political” activities)

Certainly, congregations and a church’s leadership can tell pastors they don’t want names of candidates spoken from the pulpit. But that is very different from government censorship. To government regulators, today’s “Gospel” may well be words that are tomorrow’s “politics.” ADF has already defended Americans in many cases where publicly preaching words straight from the Gospel has led to censorship…and even jail.  The bottom line is that no enforcement agency of the federal government should be telling a pastor what he can or cannot say from his pulpit about the Bible and his church’s teaching on the issues of the hour – even if the pastor’s sermon applies Scripture and church teaching to candidates and elections. Such agencies certainly cannot condition tax-exempt status–a status churches have always been constitutionally guaranteed since our founding–on the surrender of cherished First Amendment rights. In fact, for 166 years, churches freely preached directly on political candidates’ qualifications for office. That was no problem when the Constitution was signed, or when the first Commissioner of Internal Revenue was appointed in 1862, or when the federal income tax was authorized by the 16th Amendment in 1913. Nor were churches transformed into political machines. When the IRS code was amended in 1954 to ban “intervention” in political campaigns, it was an act of political retaliation by then-Sen. Lyndon Johnson against two anti-communist groups. It had nothing to do with “church politicking,” and scholars agree that churches were not the target of the regulation. ADF has the U.S. Constitution and the weight of American history on its side. Those who oppose the Pulpit Initiative have yet to make one constitutionally-derived argument against it. It is ironic that they laud the “separation of church and state” in opposition to the Pulpit Initiative, but by opposing the initiative, are asking for continued government control and censorship of a pastor’s sermon. The pulpit is no place for government regulators.

Pastors do not have to break the law. They can merely live by faith in God to provide and now discontinue from giving out tax receipts on all donations and thus be free to speak as any ordinary citizen can. The Bible does not prohibit them from doing this now as well   like Rev George Mueller did too.

“I was surprised at how many clergy are willing to go back on their institution’s promise to comply with the IRS 501c3 laws that provide guidelines for nonprofits on staying publically neutral in order to benefit from tax exempt status.Need a refresher?  Here are the IRS laws for non-profits regarding the Restriction of Politcal Campaign Intervention.  By flagrantly violating these restrictions, those clergy might as well buy all of their home furniture and ask to have it tax free or all of their family’s clothes and say it’s tax free– just pay for it and present the tax free certificate for your religious institution because those are also restrictions. This is not leading by example, but to the contrary, instead of working to change the laws those 33 (and plenty more besides them) pastors are proud to break the law.  How do the parishoners explain those values to their kids?  Spitting in the face of the law by advocating a candidate from the pulpit is even more difficult than explaining a personal failure of judgment by a clergyperson because  the religious institution itself is defying the law of the land. Perhaps the participants of the Pulpit Initiative could benefit from learning a Jewish law concept: dina de-malkhuta dina, when the law of the land takes precedence over anything else.

Here is a short piece from MyJewishLearning.com as part of an article on business ethics and paying taxes:  Taxes and Tax Evasion   Considering the scope of Jewish business law, it is not surprising that it also has a clear opinion regarding tax evasion. Eighteen hundred years ago the [Talmudic sage] Shemuel established the legal principle that in civil matters dina d’malkhuta dina—“the law of the land is the law” (B.T. Bava Kama 113a). In its discussion of this principle, the Talmud specifically includes taxation as a secular law that must be followed. This, for example, is the way Maimonides summarizes this law (Mishneh Torah, Laws of Theft 5:11):“[…] but a tax fixed by the king of 33% or 25% or any fixed sum… a person who avoids paying such a tax is a transgressor because he is stealing the king’s portion, regardless of whether the king is Jewish or not.”Of course, these clergy don’t really follow what the Talmud says, but the idea that such a concepts exists and has for thousands of years should be a wake-up call for these people. No doubt the government has quietly avoided prosecuting many offenders of the 501c3 laws for a variety of reasons.  “

It is going to be a Cold Cold war?

Personally I do not want to support any country where they do not give equal, legal, human rights to all persons, male, female, children, Christians now too but if we show love to them help them maybe then they can see our pint of views,  that includes now then Iraq, Afghanistan, Russia too.

SAINT PETERSBURG (AFP) –Oct 2, 2008  It is too soon for NATO to provide a membership action plan (MAP) to the ex-Soviet republics of Georgia and Ukraine, German Chancellor Angela Merkel said here on Thursday.   A NATO ministerial meeting in December that many predicted would be the occasion for the alliance to extend MAP to Georgia and Ukraine would instead be only “”an initial evaluation on the road to MAP,”” Merkel told journalists.   “”The position in favor of membership as soon as possible is not the German position,”” Merkel said at a news conference after talks with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev.   The NATO summit in Bucharest last April had agreed that Georgia and Ukraine could in principle be admitted as members of the alliance, she said.   But she noted that a desire to join the bloc was not the only criterion for membership.   ” “The German position has not changed since the Bucharest summit,”” Merkel said.   U.S. President George W. Bush pushed hard at the NATO summit for the bloc to immediately admit Georgia and Ukraine, allies of the United States.   His efforts however hit a roadblock, which at the time officials said was mainly due to French and German reluctance to take the two former Soviet states into the alliance and draw Russia’s wrath.   Some officials and experts had predicted after the summit that NATO would extend the MAP to Georgia and Ukraine more quietly at its meeting of foreign ministers scheduled for this December.   Merkel however seemed to pour cold water on that idea, pointedly omitting any reference to a timeframe for when the two countries might join NATO.   The December ministerial meeting would be another occasion for the alliance to assess their membership bids, she said, “”no more, no less.””   Russian officials have made it clear they would regard NATO membership for Georgia or Ukraine as something close to a hostile action by the trans-Atlantic alliance.   NATO has already expanded to take in a number of eastern European countries that were once part of the Moscow-controlled Warsaw Pact, despite pledges in the early 1990s not to rush any approach toward Russian borders.

Sarah Palin’s familiarity with Alaskan geography and it’s people makes her uniquely predisposed to deal with Vladimir Putin and his supposed designs on a new Russian Empire
and possible Rusian  invasion from the north pole?

Most Anericans even in politics seem to have
little knowledge about foreign affairs.
They do not  even know where their neighbor Canada is.
But Sarah Pallin does

It seems some americans want to revive the cold war.. why?

Alaska’s  Governor Sarah Palin, who rightfully now does makes all her governmental decisions based on her Pentecostal -Christian  faith in God,  supposedly according to some  persons admits  that the Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin invited Sarah Palin for an official visit to Russia, but she had declined Putin’s invitation as they distorting seem to say that  she will first help NATO and declare war against Putin ASAP after when she is elected vice president ???

 is this at all true?

Or is this another Democrat false spin?

and will Europe approve of the  the war, after all they will suffer the most since they buy oil and gas from Russia, and this will be a Cold cold war?

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin left open the option   of waging war with Russia if it were to invade neighboring Georgia and the former Soviet republic were a NATO ally.

“We will not repeat a Cold War,” Palin said in her first television interview since becoming Republican John McCain’s vice presidential running mate  .

“What I think is that smaller democratic countries that are invaded by a larger power is something for us to be vigilant against … We have got to show the support, in this case, for Georgia. The support that we can show is economic sanctions perhaps against Russia, if this is what it leads to.   It doesn’t have to lead to war and it doesn’t have to lead, as I said, to a Cold War, but economic sanctions, diplomatic pressure, again, counting on our allies to help us do that in this mission of keeping our eye on Russia and Putin and some of his desire to control and to control much more than smaller democratic countries.” ” Sarah Palin

Amid heightened tensions with the US in the wake of the war

in Georgia, the Russian Prime Minister Vladinir Putin

insisted that the US leader George Bush

was a man of honour and integrity,

but he blamed members of the administration

for the sharp deterioration of relations with Russia.

They seem to need to have someone to hate

and to feel superior over?

Putin  nonetheless spoke fondly of his relationship

with Mr Bush, saying, ”I treat President Bush better

than some Americans would”.

and was he talking about  the Demonrats?

“Earlier this year, Senator Clinton said that “Iran is seeking nuclear weapons, and the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps is in the forefront of that” effort. Senator Clinton argued that part of our response must include stronger sanctions, including the designation of the IRGC as a terrorist organization. John McCain and I could not agree more.

The Democrats do have a big gigantic puzzle problem  with a code name “Palin Problem”.
They now have to work hard to solve it, and to do it effectively,
because the  big sole prize is the White House.
Now Sarah  Pailin  is everywhere these days.
 No matter, if there are negative responses, rumors and resentments;
or praises, support and encouragements.
She fills the media, and not only in America.
Palinmania is spreading all over the world
– everybody has their opinion on the new political celebrity of US.
The Palin avalanche is winning against Obama intimidations.

So how should Democrats defeat her?
Would it be better forthem to  just keep her  out of their line of fire  in the campaign
 and try to
totally ignore populist idol of many persons?

Or should they continue to oppose her and giver her more publicty
and increase even  more her chances of winning now too?

A big Puzzle..
But here is one that is finshed..
I am rightfuly tired of the clear losers Democrats bashings of a winner..

(Mat 5:9 KJV)  Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
(Psa 133:1  Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

The still much too many wolves in sheep clothing

(1 Pet 5:8 KJV)  Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:  9  Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. 10  But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. 11   To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

A self conceited, loud mouthed preacher wanted to meet with me to discuss my faults, so next  I had said to him I would gladly consent to such as meeting if I in return can have the same right with him.. I was next surprised by his response, forget it..  All personal submission is now still non enforceable even by Church pastors, elders but it is also still mutual as well, reciprocal.    I have often rightfully said, asked that we  should in fairness not discriminate and investigate not just all of the civil, public servants, politicians, in reality but also all the pastors, evangelists, preachers and annually now fairly in all of the denominations not just a few Pentecostal ones  even for alcoholism, drug usage,  possible tax evasions, abuse of donated funds, lies, slander.. but it never will happen sadly.. too many politicians who are likely just as bad and will likely suppress it all firstly too.  http://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2009/09/14/transport-canada-stealing-taxpayers-money/

(Acts 20:31 KJV)  Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears. 32  And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified. 33  I have coveted no man’s silver, or gold, or apparel. 34  Yea, ye yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me. 35  I have showed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

(1 Cor 4:14 KJV)  I write not these things to shame you, but as my beloved sons I warn you.

(1 Th 5:14 KJV)  Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.

Site To Promote Prayer Awareness!

(When we work, we work. When we pray, God works!)

Life Transformers

Verses of Scripture which gripped my soul.

Ps.34:5.“They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed”.

I remember at the age of ten I used to repeat this verse so many times to myself as God’s promise to me!  It stayed on with me ever since.

l Thes. 4:12

At the age of eighteen I was in the second year of my Bible college.  I was beginning to read and understand English then.  Living Letters (Epistles of the Living Bible) came out those days and I grabbed it like hot cake. The simple language and bold print attracted me to it.  I remember reading it again and again.   But one of the verses which gripped my soul was a part of l Thes. 4:12. “This should be your ambition to live a quiet life minding your own business”.  From then I never poked my nose into the life or business of some one else.  I truly thank the Lord for giving me this insight very early in my life.

Lk. 16:15  “for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.”

After completing the phonemic analysis and writing basic grammar for Kurumba  language I met a professor form Tamil University and discussed the possibility of registering for a Ph.D. program.  It was easily possible with a little more effort and final write up.  Next time when I went to Chennai I met the professor and bought an application form for the same.  The following day for meditation was this verse of scripture.  I learnt that God has a different standard from that of men.  I decided I would never look for a high estimation among men.  I just dropped that application form and never used it!

The truth of scripture which transformed my life

I read several books on prayer.  Dick Eastman’s “No Easy Road”  and  “The Hour That Changes the World” are the two books which put me on  the proper track.  One of the greatest truths I learnt from this author is:  “What prayer means to God, criticism means to the Devil”.  I studied the concept further.  We know Our Lord intercedes for us while the devil accuses us before the Father.  They generate opposite forces and they work one against the other.   I learnt that when I intercede I help that Lord in His ministry; but when I accuse or criticize I help the devil and his ministry.  When I intercede I do the Lord’s work.  When I accuse some one I do the devil’s work.

I decided that I would never accuse a person for whom Christ intercedes.  I began to see my prayers being answered as never before!  Many of us pray.  But if we entertain a critical spirit our prayer can never reach God.  How can the Lord help someone who helps the devil?   If any one wants to have a powerful prayer life, such a person should never accuse anyone even in prayer! (Read more about this in my book on prayer, the chapter titled ‘Opposite Force of Prayer’)

so who can we Judge?

>>It’s a shame there are Christians as judgmental as the display presented here, today. Jesus did tell us not to judge others, did He not?

and funny that itself was a judgment statement

I get a chuckle when so many so called Christians show their total Bible Ignorance.. they quote isolated verses neglecting the many other applicable verses.

God, Jesus, the Bible, the apostles said we basically are not to judge the non Christians in regard to their spirituality, or to judge other Christians in regard to their lack of observance of the old testament ritual laws now too, but we are to judge all of the professing Christians, to judge even as  the type of fruit they bear now too, whether they are keeping the ten commandments, are now really true to the faith.. and even to rebuke them, openly if they do not. But first actually read the Bible and see this for yourself..

(Luke 17:3 KJV) Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.
(Phil 2:15 KJV) That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
(1 Tim 5:20 KJV) Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear.
(2 Tim 4:2 KJV) Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
(Titus 1:13 KJV) This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;
(Titus 2:15 KJV) These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.
(Rev 3:19 KJV) As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
(Mat 5:25 KJV) Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison.
(Luke 12:57 KJV) Yea, and why even of yourselves judge ye not what is right?
(Luke 19:22 KJV) And he saith unto him, Out of thine own mouth will I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest that I was an austere man, taking up that I laid not down, and reaping that I did not sow:
(John 5:30 KJV) I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.
(John 7:24 KJV) Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.
(John 8:15 KJV) Ye judge after the flesh; I judge no man.
(John 8:16 KJV) And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me.
(John 12:47 KJV) And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
(John 12:48 KJV) He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
(Acts 10:42 KJV) And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.
(1 Cor 5:12 KJV) For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?
(1 Cor 6:2 KJV) Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
(1 Cor 6:3 KJV) Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?
(1 Cor 6:4 KJV) If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church.
(1 Cor 6:5 KJV) I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren?
(1 Cor 10:15 KJV) I speak as to wise men; judge ye what I say.
(1 Cor 11:31 KJV) For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.
(1 Cor 14:29 KJV) Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge.
(Col 2:16 KJV) Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
(Rev 19:11 KJV) And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

>> “CS Lewis was man like you and I, I believe he was right in some cases and wrong in other views, but in no way “no Christian” or a false prophet.”

and if any of us was judged now on everything we had said, done, we would all go to hell, and for sure be declared non Christians..
the true Christian lives by faith in God.. Did CS Lewis have faith in God that God would save him in spite of CS Lewis being imperfect, a sinner… the clear answer seems yes.

I find it so hypocritical that most of us know that pastors tend to be imperfect, but yet we falsely declare too often that if any so called christian  leader sins, now does one thing wrong he or she is immediately called a false prophet.. but  there is no man that does good and still sins not.. for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.. we all do have this treasure of God himself in us in the simple, sinful, earthen vessels still.

so who can we Judge?

Well we can judge ourselves firstly to see if we are still sound in the faith?

(1 Cor 9:27 KJV)  But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

let me also remind you that there is no verse in the Bible that says a politician, a ruler outside of the church, has to be even a Christian. A professing Christian, pastor, elder, evangelist ?  yes, he or she  still also has to practise what he preaches.

 >>I am having a hard time with this…there are some people who believe that a Christian can be possessed. I don’t understand how that would be possible since the Holy Spirit is living inside you… I believe there are lots of folks who have a “said” faith, and I believe because it is not a true faith they can be possessed by demons, but I don’t see how this could happen in someone with a true faith.

and some people will say they were never saved in the first place but EVER HEAR OF A DOG RETURNING TO IT’S VOMIT as opposed to once saved always saved? (2 Pet 2:22 KJV)  But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.CONTINUE TO LIVE LIKE A SINNER AND YOU FOR SURE NEXT  WILL GO TO HELL INSTEAD. EVEN BY YOUR OWN FREE WILL CHOICE.

Yes the Holy Spirit will do his part and we have to do our part which is to resist evil. RESIST THE DEVIL (James 4:7 KJV)  Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.(James 4:8 KJV)  Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.what a man sows he will reap still, saved or not..  (Gal 6:7 KJV)  Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. (Gal 6:8 KJV)  For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

War crimes fugitive Radovan Karadzic has been arrested

“War crimes fugitive Radovan Karadzic has been arrested in Serbia 13 years after he was first indicted. The Bosnian Serb wartime leader, one of the world’s most wanted men, was taken into custody by the Serbian security services, Serbian President Boris Tadic’s office said in a statement.  “Karadzic was located and arrested,” the statement said. He was detained and taken to see judges of the war crimes court.  Karadzic is twice indicted for genocide for the 43-month siege of Sarajevo which claimed 12,000 lives and for orchestrating the 1995 massacre of some 8,000 Muslims at Srebrenica, the worst atrocity in Europe since World War Two. “

Canada’s political news stories today are not that dramatic, rather mundane, boring, both the Liberals and the Conservatives are putting us slowly to sleep so the so called prophet’s, writers, spin doctors are now  busy trying to generate our interest in the middle of another boring summer by trying to predict when the next federal election will come and who will win it?  Most Canadians still do want a good government, and what we’ve got right now is again far from it.

At least the Internet itself now is changing the politic scene, not only in the United States, but here  at home in Canada as well. The growing influence of the Internet in politics cannot be denied especially with the younger voters who see the internet as their first source of political feedback.. But “Only 35 percent of Americans  over age 65 are online, according to data from April and May compiled by the Pew Internet Project at the Pew Research Center.”  “But when you account for factors like race, wealth and education, the  picture changes dramatically. “About three-quarters of white,  college-educated men age over 65 use the Internet,” said  Susannah Fox,  director of the project.

The Internet as a tool for news, information, opinions, and entertainment  continues to grow. And I have been using it for decades myself as a political expression  ever since it had first started now too. ”

” Nik Nanos, of Nanos Research states, “Considering the Conservatives have   thrown everything including the kitchen sink at the Liberals and they are  still mired in a dead heat must make one pause. If attacks ads, tax cuts,  and being recognized as a competent and a solid government by average  Canadians isn’t enough to win support for the Conservatives, what will? ”

“Here’s a tip for those of you who are responsible for Conservative.ca, you’re  not in the opposition anymore, time to drop the childish taunting (Bullying)  (and poor design) and act like the government.” But Conservatives still rather tend to be bullies, who cannot change their sport, spots and clearly they do not know now to govern even, never mind a decent sales and marketing program even.. “

“It would seem that the Conservatives have still not shed the attitude or  tone of an opposition party. They have been masterful in their daily tactics  and attacks but more than two years into their mandate, the average Canadian  would likely be hard pressed to describe what a Stephen Harper Canada would  look like in ten years.  Could it be that it is time for the Conservatives to start offering  Canadians more information than simply insulting Liberal leader Stephane  Dion?” again and again?

Most of the civic, provincial  and federal politicians seem still to have too little integrity and some too often for my liking next have been  shamelessly forced to leave politics because of an exposed scandal. Not another  role model as well even is the current- the Conservative Surrey-North candidate Dana  Cadman, the wife of former Surrey-North MP Chuck Cadman   who changed stories about whether her husband was offered a  bribe by Prime Minister Stephen Harper, presumably to keep her good standing  with her party but at the same time betraying Surrey journalist Tom Zytaryk  who broke the story in a biography of her late husband.

Truly many Canadians seem to like to elect the liars and they falsely become disjointed when they do not keep their promises next too often.. So again most Canadians have become bored ostriches and they have almost entirely ignored the passing of a minor landmark: Stephen Harper’s minority government is now experiencing a longevity that no other minority regime ever has. So what!! Many others have rightfully suggested that  the reason the government hasn’t fallen lies in the sad state of affairs within the Liberal party, especially with it’s non inspiring leader. To me that is no surprise, after all he too now was part of the boring Liberal Jean Chrétien government that too only pretended to care about the equal good welfare of all Canadians.., and most of voters certainly don’t appear to have enough confidence in Dion’s faltering command of the Liberal party to give the party a Governing majority.Stephen Harper himself now is as bad  as they come,  not the best prime minister in history, and definitely shows no signs of becoming now stronger, rather one foot forward and one foot backwards has been his Parties ongoing progress too. Definitely his party is unlikely to obtain a majority government if the current sad Conservative state of affairs remains likely unchanged. It’s probably best to say the current regime will stay in power because no immediate better alternative exists. Yes” The length of this government can hardly be considered anything but a poor sign for our nation’s future”, present as well .The governing Conservatives have discovered something of late: Their modus operandi – politics as war – isn’t working as it used to.

Mean while even acording to the  The Hill Times Guy Giorno, Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s new chief of staff, too now  has started to shake up some ofthe fderal Cabinet ministers’ offices as well. Now at least three Cabinet ministers had changed their chiefs of staff , Cabinet chiefs of staff  Industry Minister Jim Prentice, Immigration Minister Diane Finley and Agriculture minister Gerry Ritz also hire new chiefs of staff. Now that is not unusual.. what is consistent is though the New Conservatives continue to hire friends into office, good paying jobs too,  something they had promised if elected they would not do..

– Aaron Gairdner, chief of staff to Agriculture Minister Gerry Ritz (Battlefords-Lloydminster, Sask.), took over from Lynette Corbett. Mr. Gairdner,  is married to Stacey Gairdner, executive assistant to Laureen Harper. Mr. Gairdner served as chief of staff to then-defence minister Gordon O’Connor (Carleton-Mississippi Mills, Ont.)  Mr. Gairdner joined Mr. Bernier’s office   and prior to the last federal election held in January 2006, Mr. Gairdner worked in the Harper OLO.- Stephen Kelly is the new chief of staff to Industry Minister Jim Prentice (Calgary Centre-North, Alta.) and succeeds Jean-Sébastien Rioux. Mr. Kelly, prior to being appointed as the new chief of staff to Mr. Prentice, was working for Mr. Bernier as a senior policy adviser as was Mr. Fraser who was serving as director of communications in the same office.- Mike Fraser is the new chief of staff to Citizenship and Immigration Minister Diane Finley (Haldimand-Norfolk, Ont.) and succeeds John Weissenberger. Meanwhile, prior to these most recent changes last week, the Prime Minister’s Office appointed three other new chiefs of staff during the previous week.- Elizabeth Dodds is the new chief of staff to Government House Leader Peter Van Loan (York-Simcoe, Ont.) and succeeds Norm McIntosh.- Neil Brodie is the new chief of staff to International Trade Minister Sen. Michael Fortier, and takes over for Claude Alain.- Jacques Fauteux, former deputy director of communications, was hired as the chief of staff to James Moore (Port Moody-Westwood-Port Coquitlam, B.C.), secretary of state for Official Languages, the Asia-Pacific Gateway Strategy and the 2010 Olympic Games. Mr. Moore was promoted to the position of secretary of state last month. Meanwhile, back in the PMO, Mr. Giorno has also made a number of staff adjustments in a variety of departments,

and the Conservative circus continues.. More than mere face  changes are needed for the Conservatives now as well.. for I too do really do rightfully dislike all leaders, bad  politicians who hire people to work on their re-election campaigns instead of looking after the good welfare of all Canadians now still too, and who are they fooling as to what they are doing now but themselves..

“The politics of destruction has run its course..  momentum, which was once on the Conservatives’ side, has been drifting away. Their penchant for destructive politics has hurt them ethically. But more than that, because they have placed so much emphasis on battlefield tactics, they have little in the policy vault with which to move forward. .. A veteran pollster was saying last week that, if an election were held today, the Tories would likely find themselves on the opposition benches.” Hopefully also in jail now next too.
