The false Demotion of the Holy Spirit, Jesus

(John 14:17 KJV)  Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
.
(John 15:26 KJV)  But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
 .
(John 16:13 KJV)  Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come.
 .
(1 John 4:6 KJV)  We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
 .
We all still  CONTINUALLY DO NEED TO  trust the Holy Spirit as the main Teacher given by God to interpret and to make His word clearer to us.;
 .
I also do really get a big chuckle in hearing from all those pretend, rather hot air   speaking in tongues experts who themselves admit they cannot speak in tongues.
.
Apostle Paul Says we all should pray for the gift of interpretation of tongues and how many do that now too? Apostle Paul gives guidelines for the public use of tongues.. It would be absurd for the Apostle Paul if he knew that tongues would cease that he would not specially say they would next  cease now as well,  and to have not included this in the passage for their proper usage.;
 .
To the experience, true Christian believer It is undeniably clearly that  the Holy Sprit is the persons, individual that will lead and guide us into all truth, even explaining the Bible to us now as well..;
 .
The People with an empty, imposturous Christian spiritual life now next turn even to idolatry to wrongfully try to compensate for their definite void, guilt feelings, their failure to reach, acquire a deeper Holy Spirit led, filled, spiritual life in Christ…. They instead now falsely promote, do encourage the worship of men, creeds, history, doctrines, things, places, books, videos, rather than solely worshipping God, Jesus alone,  himself.;
 .
“God then began to show me that the word of God alone is our standard of judgment in spiritual things; that it can be explained only by the Holy Spirit; and that in our day, as well as in former times.  He is the Teacher of His people.  The office of the Holy Spirit I had not experimentally understood before that time. It was my beginning to understand this latter point in particular, which had a great effect on me; for the Lord enabled me to put it to the test of experience, by laying aside commentaries, and almost every other book and simply reading the word  of God and studying it. I learned more in a few hours than I had done during a period of several months previously.“  George Müller (1805-1898);
 .
(Rev 3:20 KJV)  Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. 21  To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. 22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.;

 .

(Deu 6:5 KJV)  And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
 .
(Jer 2:11 KJV)  Hath a nation changed their gods, which are yet no gods? but my people have changed their glory for that which doth not profit.
(Jer 2:13 KJV)  For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.
 .
(Jer 2:32 KJV)  Can a maid forget her ornaments, or a bride her attire? yet my people have forgotten me days without number.
 .
For example: “The Mainstream Baptists have repeatedly warned that Southern Baptists were being led into Bible idolatry. The 2000 BFM confirms the veracity of this charge. The SBC is officially requiring that members bow to the Bible before bowing to Jesus. SBC Demotes Jesus By Dr. Bruce Prescott”
 .
Sadly even other denominations, groups are really falsely also now doing the same wrong things.. for there is great danger that most of these persons will subordinate the Living Word of God to the fallible interpretations of men, the false worship of mere men, objects too…
  .
“The prologue of the 1963 BFM said,“The sole authority for faith and practice among Baptists is Jesus Christ.” This was an acknowledgment that Jesus is the only infallible interpreter of God’s will in human life. God’s will is perfectly revealed in Jesus Christ “whose will is revealed in the Holy Scriptures.” The prologue of the 2000 BFM unashamedly deletes this sentence and replaces it with a clause about “doctrines we hold precious and as essential to the Baptist tradition of faith and practice.” Notice is thereby given that Jesus is being demoted in Baptist life and a creed promoted. Why? Confirmation of Jesus’ demotion also comes in the first article of the 2000 BFM. The article on scriptures in the 1963 BFM said the Bible “is the record of God’s revelation of Himself to man.” The 2000 BFM deletes the words “the record of.” It says the Bible “is God’s revelation of Himself to man.” This is not a minor change. It is sub-Christian. Deleting the words, “the record of” is clear evidence that the Living Word of God is being subordinated to the written word. The Bible has become an idol and the uniqueness of Christian revelation has been undermined. Every religion, sect and cult claims some inspired writings as divine revelation .
 .
True Christians believe that God reveals himself through more than the inspired words and thoughts and books. Words and thoughts and books, even when they are divinely inspired, are inadequate to reveal God’s person. What distinguishes us as Christians is that we believe that God revealed Himself uniquely in Jesus Christ.
 .
The Bible still is not superior to Jesus and the Bible is not equal to Jesus as divine revelation. Jesus is God’s perfect revelation. The Bible is the record of God’s revelation.
  .
Why? By saying that scripture “is God’s revelation” the 2000 BFM promotes the Bible to a place that properly belongs only to Christ. Then it goes on to demote Jesus further. Jesus is merely “the focus of divine revelation.” While “All scripture is a testimony to Christ,” the primacy of Christ over scriptures is no longer acknowledged. That is the effect of the 2000 BFM deletion of the confession that, “The criterion by which the Bible is to be interpreted is Jesus Christ.”
 .
Without this safeguard there is great danger that these Southern Baptists will subordinate the Living Word of God to the fallible interpretations of men. All these changes make it clear that the primacy of divine revelation has clearly shifted from Jesus to the Bible. These Baptists are bowing to the Bible more than to Jesus. The Bible has become an idol. Even worse, a lesser idol has been forged. Soon we will see how many Baptists will be expelled from the SBC for refusing to bow to the 2000 BFM before bowing to Jesus.
  .
Acknowledging that “The criterion by which the Bible is to be interpreted is Jesus Christ” reminds Baptists to interpret the Bible with humility. The only infallible interpreter of scripture is Jesus Christ by His Holy Spirt. “
 .
(Psa 31:3 KJV)  For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name’s sake lead me, and guide me.
 .
(Isa 49:10 KJV)  They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun smite them: for he that hath mercy on them shall lead them, even by the springs of water shall he guide them.
 .
(John 14:17 KJV)  Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

Basic Christianity

Mark 7:5 And the Pharisees and scribes kept asking [Jesus], Why do Your disciples not order their way of living according to the tradition handed down by the forefathers [to be observed], but eat with hands unwashed {and} ceremonially not purified?
Mark 7:6 But He said to them, Excellently {and} truly [so that there will be no room for blame] did Isaiah prophesy of you, the pretenders {and} hypocrites, as it stands written: These people [constantly] honor Me with their lips, but their hearts hold off {and} are far distant from Me.
Mark 7:7 In vain (fruitlessly and without profit) do they worship Me, ordering {and} teaching [to be obeyed] as doctrines the commandments {and} precepts of men.
Mark 7:8 You disregard {and} give up {and} ask to depart from you the commandment of God and cling to the tradition of men [keeping it carefully and faithfully].
Mark 7:9 And He said to them, You have a fine way of rejecting [thus thwarting and nullifying and doing away with] the commandment of God in order to keep your tradition (your own human regulations)!

Mark 7:20 And He said, What comes out of a man is what makes a man unclean {and} renders [him] unhallowed.
Mark 7:21 For from within, [that is] out of the hearts of men, come base {and} wicked thoughts, sexual immorality, stealing, murder, adultery,
Mark 7:22 Coveting (a greedy desire to have more wealth), dangerous {and} destructive wickedness, deceit; unrestrained (indecent) conduct; an evil eye (envy), slander (evil speaking, malicious misrepresentation, abusiveness), pride (the sin of an uplifted heart against God and man), foolishness (folly, lack of sense, recklessness, thoughtlessness).
Mark 7:23 All these evil [purposes and desires] come from within, and they make the man unclean {and} render him unhallowed.

Like most others I very often come across very religious people who are strong supporters, even to the death,  of their denominations, it’s doctrines, beliefs, practices , traditions  and even if those things have no real, valid Biblical bases, and some how  these very religious  people still do miss the boat by missing out on practising, observing the essentials of Christianity.

Mark 8:29 And He asked them, But who do you yourselves say that I am? Peter replied to Him, You are the Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).

Mark 8:34 And Jesus called the throng with His disciples and said to them, If anyone intends to come after Me, let him deny himself [forget, ignore, disown, and lose sight of himself and his own interests] and take up his cross, and [joining Me as a disciple and siding with My party] follow with Me [continually, cleaving steadfastly to Me].35 For whoever wants to save his [higher, spiritual, eternal] life, will lose it [the lower, natural, temporal life which is lived only on earth]; and whoever gives up his life [which is lived only on earth] for My sake and the Gospel’s will save it [his higher, spiritual life in the eternal kingdom of God]. 36 For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit his life [in the eternal kingdom of God]? 37 For what can a man give as an exchange (a compensation, a ransom, in return) for his [blessed] life [in the eternal kingdom of God]?  38 For whoever is ashamed [here and now] of Me and My words in this adulterous (unfaithful) and [preeminently] sinful generation, of him will the Son of Man also be ashamed when He comes in the glory (splendor and majesty) of His Father with the holy angels.

(John 4:23 KJV)  But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24  God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Time to check if many our personal beliefs, practices are now Biblical even, applicable for today.

One simple spiritual truth that I have learned from my Christian mother since childhood days was the need to have simple, daily  Bible devotionals, and I have learned from experience they help to guide me further during the day, and are related to what I am facing next.. missing out on them was no blessing at all.

Love your enemy… but also try to know your enemy

and those who do not put their money into their pockets they declared  WAR against them..

(Micah 3:5 KJV)  Thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that make my people err, that bite with their teeth, and cry, Peace; and he that putteth not into their mouths, they even prepare war against him.

(Mat 10:36 KJV)  And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.

One of the greatest Christian author’s in the world, Author of Pilgrim’s Progress, the english book second to the Bible its seems, John Bunyan the preacher,   his own wife did not go along with him.. or for certainty the Pilgrim’s own wife he wrote about..

(Prov 22:6 KJV)  Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it

As a mature , honest, decent adult senior, I like to speak from my real insights, experiences and not as a pretender on the net.

People with low self-esteem tend to live in a closed system that is hard to break. Because they have difficulty admitting negatives, either about themselves or their behavior, it is hard to reach them. It is especially difficult for someone with low self-esteem who is defensive or in denial to admit that they are afraid.  http://www.getnewvisions.com/se/03crse_symptoms.html

Now why is it some persons do like to control slander others, gossip about them, and  try to dominate, bully, bash or influence others?

Is  it really just cause they have a poor self image, and as a result crave attention upon, for themselves or what? Or do  they feel that bashing others makes themselves feel temporally better, but that quickly dissipates anyway  and they have to do so more bashing?

Or is just cause they  do not know any better and perform  all these immoral acts ? They come from real troubled homes, bad upbringing and they are searching for love, acceptance  the wrong way.. even because their parents now have done a really bad job in bringing them up, in raising them properly to face life, hold a job, hold a marriage etc?

At what point are do they no longer have an excuse, have reached an age of personal  accountably for their own actions and cannot any longer blame others, their parents, past  teachers, administrators, society in general  and now they have  to be personally fully accountable rather for their actions?

IT IS NOW MORE  RARE BUT I DO ALSO NOW STILL GET BULLIED BY RELIGIOUS BULLIES, ABUSERS TOO..

The WRONGFULLY STILL Unrepentant  bully’s problem is that he or she is one of those bad persons  who only feels truly alive when voicing hostility and contempt for his “enemies.” Without that, he or she starts gasping for air. It’s his nature.. self-destructive” ..  clearly these immoral  Bully, Basher of others, Abusers of others has a disappointed, deflated ego, negative self worth,  most likely related to past unresolved guilt, as a result  of  that   the bully, he or she, tries falsely to   build  their ego up by bashing, hating others, by being an antagonists against  his proclaimed enemies, which too often also  is most people , for  he or she no longer trust anyone, and Abusers this is a common very typical approach, fact in the character build up of Bullies, Bashers, but their approach is futile, the subsequent feeling of self worth dissipates too quickly, are actually replaced by guilt,  and his ego, self worth likely needs to be recharged with new hate.. and is replaced with more and larger hatred of the others.  I have seen this type of wrong behavior not just in bad managers, bad politicians, bad persons, but  in alcoholics, and most often in Albertan rednecks ,but also  in religious   fundamentals evangelicals who promote hated towards Pentecostal Christians as well, and  now as well as the crooked pastor wrongfully  fighting for control over others. Public exposure and prosecution of these bad persons here too services everyone’s best interest.

Why you should believe in the Bible?

 bible (10)

It will lead you you God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit too.

The Bible is an essential part of the Christian faith. Christians hold it in varying degrees to be the Word of God. To me this means that every word was inspired by God in its original and that on any one point God speaks what we should know through the whole Bible.

Any systematic teaching of Christian Doctrine will begin by establishing the centrality of the Bible to a true knowledge of God and his will.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 (English Standard Version)

“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.”

But knowing the facts and teachings of the Bible do not make a Christian.

John 3:16 (English Standard Version)

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”

Knowledge about God does not mean we know God. But if we know God, Christians believe you can only gain knowledge about him through the Christian Bible. At each stage of its writing the Bible was complete and now with the completion of the Christian Bible, it contains everything we need to know about God for salvation. Essentially what everyone needs to know is that in Christ crucified we are saved. This is experienced through the working of God the Holy Spirit. Without the Bible telling us, we could not know this and realise it in our lives. Without the Bible we could not understand why we need to be saved, the nature of God or his means of grace.

This knowledge has been gained through the writings of ordinary men in their work-a-day languages through poetry, epics, prose, letters and proverbs. God chose each word and phrase of some forty authors’ writings to reveal himself to us.

Each of the sixty six books that makes up the Bible, written over 1500 years, needs interpreting for our understanding. The ordinary languages they were written in are for the most part dead. There is little doubt about the authenticity of the text and it is generally accepted that the text being translated is close to, if not identical to, the original. The job of the translator is to communicate the meaning of the text. This is done by word for word translations or by attempting to bring out the intended meaning through contemporary phrases and idioms. The whole process is open to scrutiny and criticism and certainly in English we have a wealth of translations.

Aside from the original writing of the books, there was no supernatural moment when the Bible was brought together; no blinding flash. Christians believe that the Bible is as it exists today, according to the tradition of the church though the content is certainly not there because of tradition. Tradition is wholly different in the understanding of the church, being its creeds, doctrines and, to some extent, liturgy and structures.

The books of the Christian Bible are complete, attested to and agreed by all Christian churches. Some churches have apocryphal texts but do not believe these to have authority. In fact, the canon of scripture seems to be one of the few areas of tradition where Christians have unity! The New Testament scriptures we have are the same as those of Irenaeus, a 2nd century bishop of Smyrna, whose boy hood mentor was Polycarp, a friend of the John of the Gospels. The New Testament canon (list of books) was set out by Athanasius in his Easter letter of 367 and included all the books from Hebrews to Revelation which had been a matter of regional variation from the 2nd century. Apart from faith, Christians can be secure in believing the scriptures we have to be reliable and trustworthy. That is not to say there are no problems with the text but Christians believe they can be resolved through study and that in no way will the integrity of the scriptures be undermined.

The world view contained in the Bible is that God created the universe; the Earth is special and men and women were created to live on it for God’s good pleasure. Through the sin of the first man called Adam, sin entered the whole of creation. What was created to be good is now subject to futility and death. It is hard to grasp, but everyone has a sense of this futility and feels the wrath God, but we can only know why through the Bible. The God of the Bible is just and merciful which again we could only know from the Bible. By nature we stand against him and our choice separates us from him eternally. Through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross the way back to God is open to all. By God’s sovereign work our eyes are opened to this and we receive a new nature which chooses to follow him. Jesus is shown to be God the Son who restores us and sets us apart for God’s pleasure eternally. The Bible teaches this and reveals that it is not by a work of our own effort, an effort to do better or study harder, but a supernatural work of his grace. At no point does the Bible allow that we are saved by our own effort.

The Bible in its writings teaches its own centrality to this world view and its authority to do so, but also its own inefficacy to save us. Jesus, speaking to a Scripture teacher of his time, says,

John 5:37-40 (English Standard Version)

And the Father who sent me has himself borne witness about me. His voice you have never heard, his form you have never seen, and you do not have his word abiding in you, for you do not believe the one whom he has sent. You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is they that bear witness about me, yet you refuse to come to me that you may have life.”

which is a word for word translation or, if you prefer a near contemporary version,

John 5:37-40 (The Message)

“But my purpose is not to get your vote, and not to appeal to mere human testimony. I’m speaking to you this way so that you will be saved. John was a torch, blazing and bright, and you were glad enough to dance for an hour or so in his bright light. But the witness that really confirms me far exceeds John’s witness. It’s the work the Father gave me to complete. These very tasks, as I go about completing them, confirm that the Father, in fact, sent me. The Father who sent me, confirmed me. And you missed it. You never heard his voice, you never saw his appearance. There is nothing left in your memory of his Message because you do not take his Messenger seriously.

“You have your heads in your Bibles constantly because you think you’ll find eternal life there. But you miss the forest for the trees. These Scriptures are all about me! And here I am, standing right before you, and you aren’t willing to receive from me the life you say you want.”

This is God’s grace as nothing can separate us from God’s love which is given to us by the Father, through Jesus and the action of the Holy Spirit. In this the Bible speaks to us and presents the foundations of his truth which is why it is an essential book for our times and central to the Christian faith.

Why you should believe in the Bible, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit too
Well Jesus had said without me you can do nothing  (John 15:5 KJV)  I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. 6  If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.7   If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
and he Jesus will also give you the Holy spirit to equip you and to guide you into all truth. (John 14:16 KJV)  And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
(John 14:26 KJV)  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
(John 15:26 KJV)  But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
(John 16:7 KJV)  Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
for without Jesus and the Holy Spirit you still cannot understand the Bible anyway..

WOE TO the bad shepherds

(Prov 20:6 KJV)  Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find?

Too many persons are so ready to proclaim their own goodness.. when in fact they tend to be ordinary sinners, who often do bad  still too. I had learned decades ago that if you truly want to know what a pastor is like , next work with him for one day and you will be shocked at the new revelations very likely too… they too often are now not the saints, idols, they are claimed to be..  It is always better to trust in God directly than to hero worship a mere man too. I have often noticed that many women still worship some pastors, not just their wife, wrongfully for their sex appeal too.

Jer 23:1 WOE TO the shepherds (the civil, religious leaders) who destroy and scatter the sheep of My pasturing! says the Lord. Jer 23:2 Therefore thus says the Lord, the God of Israel, concerning the shepherds who care for {and} feed My people: You have scattered My flock and driven them away and have not visited {and} attended to them; behold, I will visit {and} attend to you for the evil of your doings, says the Lord. Jer 23:3 And I will gather the remnant of My flock out of all the countries to which I have driven them and will bring them again to their folds {and} pastures; and they will be fruitful and multiply. Jer 23:4 And I will set up shepherds over them who will feed them. And they will fear no more nor be dismayed, neither will any be missing {or} lost, says the Lord.

It still has always been shocking to me when someone had personally said to me the pastor has abused me.. he was unkind, unloving, he even lied.. for that is the last place I have expected to find an abusive person(s), a pastor of a Church.

I was really surprised that most evangelical, pentecostal  pastors are control freaks too.. who even meddle into homes now too.. other person’s  lives.. even cause too often they are sex maniacs

THE MAN KING OF THE HOUSE, THE WOMAN HIS DUTIFUL SUBJECT. The man is the king of the  household, and the wife is only the prime minister. There is no confusion or overlapping of authority. The will of the husband is law. He has the  only   place of honor . The arrangements of the house, the company entertained, and the service employed, all have respect to his wishes and to his convenience. The wife conducts the affairs of state for the king. She has her household and, more than  her personal allowance, and she renders a strict account of stewardship.   The wife’s personal expenditures are less, much less than the husband’s. The will of the husband is the  undisputed law; as to the wife her person, her property, her children under his sole control even to the present time are the rights secured to the husband under present English law. Like it or not but these laws were based on the Bible, which states   (Eph 5:23 KJV) ” For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body”

and most Evangelical pastors DO need to recognize, preach  AND PRACTICE this still too.

Jer 23:10 For the land is full of adulterers (forsakers of God, Israel’s true Husband). Because of the curse [of God upon it] the land mourns, the pastures of the wilderness are dried up. They [both false prophets and people] rush into wickedness; {and} their course is evil, their might is not right.
Jer 23:11 For both [false] prophet and priest are ungodly {and} profane; even in My house have I found their wickedness, says the Lord.
Jer 23:12 Therefore their way will be to them like slippery paths in the dark; they will be driven on and fall into them. For I will bring evil upon them in the year of their punishment, says the Lord.
Jer 23:13 And I have seen folly in the prophets of Samaria: they prophesied by Baal and caused My people Israel to err {and} go astray.
Jer 23:14 I have seen also in the prophets of Jerusalem a horrible thing: they commit adultery and walk in lies; they encourage {and} strengthen the hands of evildoers, so that none returns from his wickedness. They have all of them become to Me like Sodom, and her inhabitants like Gomorrah.
Jer 23:15 Therefore thus says the Lord of hosts concerning the prophets: Behold, I will feed them with [the bitterness of] wormwood and make them drink the [poisonous] water of gall, for from the [false] prophets of Jerusalem profaneness {and} ungodliness have gone forth into all the land.
Jer 23:16 Thus says the Lord of hosts: Do not listen to the words of the [false] prophets who prophesy to you. They teach you vanity (emptiness, falsity, and futility) {and} fill you with vain hopes; they speak a vision of their own minds and not from the mouth of the Lord.
Jer 23:17 They are continually saying to those who despise Me {and} the word of the Lord, The Lord has said: You shall have peace; and they say to everyone who walks after the stubbornness of his own mind {and} heart, No evil shall come upon you.
Jer 23:18 For who among them has stood in the council of the Lord, that he should perceive and hear His word? Who has marked His word [noticing and observing and giving attention to it] and has [actually] heard it?
Jer 23:19 Behold, the tempest of the Lord has gone forth in wrath, a whirling tempest; it shall whirl {and} burst upon the heads of the wicked.
Jer 23:20 The anger of the Lord shall not turn back until He has executed {and} accomplished the thoughts {and} intents of His mind {and} heart. In the latter days you shall consider {and} understand it perfectly.
Jer 23:21 I did not send these [false] prophets, yet they ran; I did not speak to them, yet they prophesied.
Jer 23:22 But if they had stood in My council, then they would have caused My people to hear My words, then they would have turned them [My people] from their evil way and from the evil of their doings.
Jer 23:23 Am I a God at hand, says the Lord, and not a God afar off?
Jer 23:24 Can anyone hide himself in secret places so that I cannot see him? says the Lord. Do not I fill heaven and earth? says the Lord.
Jer 23:25 I have heard what the prophets have said who prophesy lies in My name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed [visions on my bed at night].
Jer 23:26 [How long shall this state of things continue?] How long yet shall it be in the minds of the prophets who prophesy falsehood, even the prophets of the deceit of their own hearts,
Jer 23:27 Who think that they can cause My people to forget My name by their dreams which every man tells to his neighbor, just as their fathers forgot My name because of Baal?
Jer 23:28 The prophet who has a dream, let him tell his dream; but he who has My word, let him speak My word faithfully. What has straw in common with wheat [for nourishment]? says the Lord.
Jer 23:29 Is not My word like fire [that consumes all that cannot endure the test]? says the Lord, and like a hammer that breaks in pieces the rock [of most stubborn resistance]?
Jer 23:30 Therefore behold, I am against the [false] prophets, says the Lord, [I am even now descending upon them with punishment, these prophets] who steal My words from one another [imitating the phrases of the true prophets].
Jer 23:31 Behold, I am against the prophets, says the Lord, who use their [own deceitful] tongues and say, Thus says the Lord.
Jer 23:32 Behold, I am against those who prophesy lying dreams, says the Lord, and tell them and cause My people to err {and} go astray by their lies and by their vain boasting {and} recklessness–when I did not send them or command them; nor do they profit these people at all, says the Lord.
Jer 23:33 And when these people, or a prophet or a priest, ask you, What is the burden of the Lord [the thing to be lifted up now]? then you shall say to them, What burden [indeed]! [You are the burden!] And I will disburden Myself of you {and} I will cast you off, says the Lord.
Jer 23:34 And as for the prophet, the priest, or [any of these] the people, whoever [in mockery calls the word of the Lord a burden and] says, The burden of the Lord, I will even visit in wrath {and} punish that man and his house.

(Jer 34:17 KJV)  Therefore thus saith the LORD; Ye have not hearkened unto me, in proclaiming liberty, every one to his brother, and every man to his neighbour: behold, I proclaim a liberty for you, saith the LORD, to the sword, to the pestilence, and to the famine; and I will make you to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth.

(Psa 91:14 KJV) Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
(Psa 91:15 KJV) He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
(Psa 91:16 KJV) With long life will I satisfy him, and show him my salvation.

The pretender, imposter, wolf in sheep clothing.

Mark 3:14-15   “Then He appointed twelve, that they might be with Him and that He might send them out to preach, and to have power to heal sicknesses and to cast out demonsMark 6:7 And He called the twelve to Himself, and began to send them out two by two, and gave them power over unclean spirits.   Luke 9:10 “And the apostles, when they had returned, told Him all that they had done.”

One thing for sure I have observed that where there are sheep now there are also many wolves, for where there are real Christians there are also the  the pretenders amongst them now, today as well. The pretender, imposter, wolf in sheep clothing do now show up for all kind of reasons even to seduce the sheep. They masquerade as pastors,, assistant pastors, elders, youth ministers, Bible college students now as well.

But a close examination daily reveals these pretender, imposter, wolf in sheep clothing really have not changed, they are self centered, unloving, tend to lack compassion and consideration for any others.

The pretender, imposter, wolf in sheep clothing even the Judas Iscariot is noted in history as the one who betrayed Him (Jesus). Yet Judas was first numbered among the Twelve apostles (Luke 6:13, 22:3; Acts 1:16-17 numbered with us), “chosen” by Christ Himself,  so how next did the “Apostle Judas” became also the traitor? What drove him to his immoral acts. The reality is that he had never died to self or to the love of money too.

John 12:2-8 “There they made Him a supper; and Martha served, but Lazarus was one of those who sat at the table with Him. Then Mary took a pound of very costly oil of spikenard, anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped His feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the oil. Then one of His disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, who would betray Him, said, “Why was this fragrant oil not sold for three hundred denari and given to the poor?” This he said, not that he cared for the poor, but because he was a thief, and had the money box; and he used to take what was put in it.

Judas, also he called Jesus teacher always, he never called Jesus Lord or master as the other apostles did. Judas accepted him only as Rabbi.

There are two people in the Bible who are called the “Son of Perdition,” Judas and the Antichrist!! It also seems  both are very much into money. The Bible says the Pharisees loved money and so did Judas, so they had a common affection. This is why they were able to bribe Judas to betray our Lord. The love of money, the root of all evil, the love of what money now next can buy as well, often shows us whether a person now is a real Christian, or a pretender, imposter, wolf in sheep clothing.

“Your money perish with you, because you thought that the gift of God could be purchased with money!” You have neither part nor portion in this matter, for your heart is not right in the sight of God. “Repent therefore of this your wickedness, and pray God if perhaps the thought of your heart may be forgiven you. “For I see that you are poisoned by bitterness and bound by iniquity” (Acts 8:20-23).

(Acts 20:29 KJV)  For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.

(Acts 20:30 KJV)  Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

(Acts 20:31 KJV)  Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.

(Acts 20:32 KJV)  And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.

(Acts 20:33 KJV)  I have coveted no man’s silver, or gold, or apparel.

(Acts 20:34 KJV)  Yea, ye yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me.

(Acts 20:35 KJV)  I have showed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

  •  IT IS NOW MORE  RARE BUT I DO ALSO NOW STILL GET BULLIED BY RELIGIOUS BULLIES, ABUSERS TOO..  not just by the past bad cops
