Bad Calgary Cops

Calgary Police supposedly persecute the Chrtistians and why?

YouTube – Pastor Arrested for Preaching the Gospel to the Poor

My own personal direct experience was a shock to realize how much the Calgary cops do hate anyone mentioning Jesus Christ.

Many of them go after work to the police tavern across the street from the main Calgary police station and drive drunk home from there next too.. this too needs to be exposed..

“On Saturday, Concerned Christians Canada reported that “members of the Street Church ministry were forcefully removed from their preaching platform by a mob of police officers.” http://noapologies.ca/?p=1263

CCC continued: “For years the City has been waging a battle against the ministry, getting more and more aggressive with members being manhandled, Christian materials confiscated, and volunteers wounded from rough treatment.  Street Church ministries has made several attempts to have their Charter rights restored and have made several pleas for justice and mercy which have, to this date, fallen on deaf ears.”

CCC is “is launching an awareness campaign and will be contacting thousands of their supporters across the country to notify them of what injustices are going on in the City of Calgary.”

Jim Blake, National Chairman, Concerned Christians Canada, said “During this altercation three volunteers were arrested, one of which for recording the behaviour of the police from a nearby sidewalk, and still other ministry members were intimidated by being surrounded by squad cars, paddy wagons and police officers. Ironically drug dealers and drug users were conducting their business right in front of the officers and they did nothing to stop them. It’s just so hypocritical. It’s high time that City council step up to the plate. They need to lay down their battle gear and allow Street Church to care for the less fortunate in peace. The very things that City officials harass Street Church about they allow others to do regularly without attacking them. This is a precisely targeted campaign against a ministry that preaches the gospel. It is bigotry and it must stop.”

People who want more information about this case can reach Jim Blake at 403-690-4636 or at nationalchairman@concernedchristians.ca .

CALGARY – The City of Calgary is appealing a court decision that acquitted a street preacher of five bylaw charges and called two civic bylaws overly broad. City solicitor Paul Tolley said the city believes the 91-page provincial court judgment, released earlier this month, has “both errors in fact and errors in law.” An appeal to the Court of Queen’s Bench will be filed by the Jan. 6 deadline, he said. Art Pawlowski, who preaches in public while feeding the homeless, has been in a battle with the city over the use of a loudspeaker to spread his message and for placing material on streets, including boxes of food, a large wooden cross and speakers. On Monday, he called the city’s decision “very unfortunate. “The city, instead of focusing (on helping the homeless) are wasting taxpayer money,” Pawlowski said. “We are not the city’s enemies. The city continues to fight us.” In a Dec. 7 written decision, provincial court Judge Allan Fradsham said while there is “little dispute that the accused engaged in most of the impugned behaviours,” he also heard arguments for Pawlowski made under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Tolley said the city believes “the charter principles have not been factually applied and extend too far.”  There is also concern, he added, that the streets bylaw and the parks and pathways bylaw, under which Pawlowski was charged and which have been in place for years, were called overly broad and vague in the judgment. As well, because the charter applies across the country, the decision could have an impact on other bylaws in other cities, Tolley said. Pawlowski, who preaches in front of Old City Hall and in a park near the drop-in centre, has argued he needs the loudspeaker to be heard by drug dealers, prostitutes and others. The city has said the amplified voice generated complaints, including from residents across the river. Tolley said the city is concerned about Fradsham’s comment that the actions of some city officials “fall precariously close to being excessive and . . . an abuse of power.” “We don’t believe they have,” he added. http://www.calgaryherald.com/news/City+challenges+Calgary+preacher+acquittal/2369791/story.html

PS: Look at this, due to the undeniable Recession, budget and tax cuts,  Municipalities across Canada have  been cutting back even on their services, snow clearing now too, which has been leading up to more car accidents, and cause the police cannot tell the truth about their employers, the police now lie, and divert the truth, saying that speeding vehicles were the cause of most of the accidents. In reality now also  speeding also still is not the main reasons for accidents but driving while impaired is.. https://postedat.wordpress.com/2009/01/08/drivers-will-face-significant-insurance-rates/

drivers will face significant insurance rates

Look at this, due to the undeniable Recession, budget and tax cuts,  Municipalities across Canada have  been cutting back even on their services, snow clearing now too, which has been leading up to more car accidents, and cause the police cannot tell the truth about their employers, the police now lie, and divert the truth, saying that speeding vehicles were the cause of most of the accidents. In reality now also  speeding also still is not the main reasons for accidents but driving while impaired is..

Slippery roads, thousands of traffic collisions  are fuelling the car insurance business where many of these drivers will face significant insurance rates increases next as a result..  SEE ALSO http://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2009/04/24/research-on-real-world-behavior-crash-factors/

“There’s been more snow and more accidents through the month of December. The Calgary Police Service recorded 6,158 collisions in December, 605 of which involved injury. That’s a significant jump from 4,574 collisions in December 2007. Also SUVs and minivans being the most popular rental choices for winter driving.. However, once you’re behind the wheel of a rental vehicle, you may want to drive cautiously, given that you’ll likely be driving on all-season radials, not snow tires. Few, if any, car rental companies offer winter tires in Calgary. “Snow tires are mandatory only in Quebec due to a new law there that required motorists to install snow tires by Dec. 15 or face fines of up to $300. The  Quebec law has resulted in a shortage of snow tires across Canada.

Note this important  brief introduction to road safety and the police .. Yes  you always do have to drive safely, in control, not impaired as well and yes there are many, many different factors that now can cause a vehicular, automotive  accident, including but not limited to the actual daily road conditions, even the type of tires you have .. for  it is a fact that good tires lead to a safer drive, and so does a 4 wheel drive.  Next when you start to first drive at any day do first immediately test the road condition by coming to a planned sudden stop , and see firsthand how your car reacts accordingly.. then next do use this experience to set how you will drive the rest of the day too. And no matter what car, or tires you have, or who is the driver, if you do hit a patch of black ice, due clearly to the failure of others, such as the Governments, municipalities,  to apply salt and gravel on the icy / snowy  road, to falsely try to save money here,  it can be very, very hazardous now too. Give them a fine, ticket, they firstly do deserve it too. Now hypothetical if you do not drive at all you are less likely   to have an   accident, assuming another driver does not hit you while walking..

AND THEN WHAT THEY LYING POLICE BLAME THE CITIZENS FOR DRIVING TOO FAST IN POOR WEATHER CONDITIONS, WHEN IT IS THE FAULT OF THE PROVINCIAL, MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENTS FOR NOT KEEPING THE ROADS ADEQUATELY CLEANED, SALTED, GRAVEL?

THE LAZY COPS DID NOT WANT TO WORK SO THEY THINK PROPOSING MORE ABSURD TRAFFIC LAWS, SPEED TRAPS, VIDEO CAMERAS, LAWS WILL REDUCE THEIR WORK LOAD EHH..  When even the  police chiefs, police personnel  even are also known to play dirty politics, who can you trust then?

” CP TORONTO – Accusations of high-level political interference, petty vindictiveness and tarnished reputations will be on public display this week as Ontario’s top cop heads to court to force an adjudicator he accuses of bias to step down from a police disciplinary hearing.  Like it’s just endless.”” Nasty Fantino battle started with baseball bat, winds through courts

It also seems that  the statistical numbers  for drunk drivers, accidents too  are still startling, too high — and split it seems almost evenly for inside the main cities and in the outlying area where there is less policing too. —   While maybe the police, RCMP may  have a strong feel for the trends on the roads, for speeding, accidents, drunk driving and the impaired numbers maybe are still not causing the police great concern, due to their own priorities and even due to the differing, often in a not fully reliable way that the Police, accident data is collected year to year, Canada wide now too, still the  actual Police statistical values, comparisons are very difficult,  erroneous still and these statistics reporting they need to be seriously improved, and the Police themselves even better managed.

And  do you really think that the the majority of the police  who  now are one of the highest paid professionals are firstly doing their Jobs cause they really firstly serving,  are looking after the good welfare of the citizens as they often lie to us and claim they do .. and not cause of the monetary job, fringe benefits ? I would not bet on it not  even on your life..

It is an admitted fact we have hired too many bad police officers Canada wide, even in the RCMP.. because exisiting bad mangers hire bad people next too.. thus the police recruitment , hiring, supervision  approach stinks badly..

“In reality the too often self serving, money hungry, promotional and empire oriented police, and their superiors, bad justice ministers, bad politicians  really do not care about the citizens good welfare but only their own”

Here there are 2 main concerns, issues even related TO ACCIDENTS, DRIVERS
1: The rising alcohol consumption, and the rising taxpayer’s costs of alcohol related sickness, accidents
2: The  still inadequate police, RCMP response to impaired drivers, year around.

Now I have said it for over 3 decades in writing to all too so now call it what you want but police services generally  it is not about public safety, for it is  a self employment, empire  building, a false money grab, revenue generation, hidden taxes..  for if  the cops, the mad RCMP  were now really worried about public safety THEY WOULD FIRSTLY ARREST THEIR OWN KIND, THE BAD COPS WHO OFTEN DRIVE HOME DRUNK AFTER WORK, COMING HOME FROM THE POLICE TAVERN, and they would ALSO FIRSTLY  go after the people who drive reckless, who  fail to stop at the stop signs, or the  traffic stop lights, and go seriously after the impaired drunken drivers, deal with the unsafe cars whose brakes are squealing cause they need to be repaired.. etc. Cops , civil and public servants too often become perverse persons, unacceptable bullies still too. You and I still do not have to accept such crap.

Funny majority  of the accidents still do happen outside of the city but most traffic cops are in the city still too..

Paradoxically, despite all the dangers, warnings ,  most people continue to drink beyond safe levels on a weekly basis that is more than 14 units of alcohol for women and 21 units for men.   “Reality too many of the binge drinkers., if not already are likely to become hard core alcoholics. The real problem of alcohol misuse was much wider than previously thought   We are drinking more now than we have ever done since before the First World War. We must transform attitudes towards alcohol.   Alcohol, though legal and embedded in our society, is no ordinary commodity. It is very harmful .. never mind the lies, spins,  distortions of the alcohol industries, alcoholics themselves.   Attitudes To Alcohol Must Change.  http://www.emaxhealth.com/2/63/27952/attitudes-alcohol-must-change.html  http://www.emaxhealth.com/2/63/27943/northern-ireland-reports-adult-drinking-patterns.html

Nearly twice as many liquor stores, relatively cheap booze and a pricing system that effectively discounts drinks with more alcohol are contributing to a rise in hazardous drinking, says B.C.’s provincial health officer. The same is true in Alberta and other provinces.  http://www.bclocalnews.com/bc_north/lakesdistrictnews/news/36589419.html

Perhaps the most worrying aspect of all is  the frightening age shift in alcohol use. A generation or two ago, the first experiments with binge drinking were at university or during National Service. The “victims” of those generations who started drinking in their late teens and 20s were perhaps better able to cope with the consequences than 10-14 year-olds today. The international evidence is quite clear that the health consequences of alcohol misuse are closely linked to a nation’s total alcohol consumption and the main drivers of this are price and availability.  For liver disease and other medical conditions, there can be a time lag of 10 or more years from the onset of serious drinking to reaping the consequences. Now we are seeing patients, particularly women, in their 20s with advanced alcoholic liver disease – a real tragedy for their family as well as themselves.”  More alcohol use is a concern for health-care professionals, since it means more deaths, illness, injuries and hospital visits, meaning added strain on the health-care system, and additional cost. “There’s 60 different ways in which alcohol can cause premature death and illness,”  Too many cops are alcoholic themselves these days it seems too. Showing justice and compassion is rightfully prosecuting all of  the guilty alcohol and drug offenders.

Honking, fist-shaking, screaming, obnoxious drivers: the symptoms of road rage.    Insurance Corporation of British Columbia  Psychologist John Vavrik, who studies driving behaviour for ICBC, says road rage can be better understood as “aggressive driving spectrum disorder.” According to Vavrik, road rage can take many forms.  “There’s not a clean definition of it. It’s basically an aggressive act aimed at hurting somebody or sending a message to somebody,” Vavrik said.  “The people most at risk of engaging in these behaviours are the least likely to control their behaviour,” he said. “They have low emotional intelligence. They don’t have the tools or skills or strategy to manage their emotions.  “In those extreme cases, we’re talking about sociopathic issues. The driver’s a walking time bomb.”  According to Vavrik, “road-ragers” are generally underachievers, individuals who lack assertiveness and control, and do not have the status in life they desire.  He said the “depersonalized space” of a vehicle is a trigger to road rage, as is an unexpected traffic delay, such as that caused by a slow driver, or being stuck behind an idle bus.
 http://www.timescolonist.com/Road+ragers+generally+underachievers+psychologist/1443637/story.html
Now we know that more people have accident due to road rage, impaired driving, driving under the influence of drugs, alcohol  over speeding too and we still do need to review how much time and resources do the police deal with that firstly? ”

Despite plunging sales in almost every sector, alcohol sales are on the rise in Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta  and in other provinces over last year . If you drive at twice the legal alcohol limit you are at least 30 times more likely to cause a road crash than a driver who hasn’t been drinking. Alcohol abuse is a problem that is expected to become increasingly common as baby boomers, who have been found to drink more than previous generations, reach age 65 and beyond. “A lot of folks over 50 are already dealing with diseases associated with aging and medication use that can result in possible complications and drug interactions. And older people who abuse alcohol are consuming an inordinate amount of calories that can displace important nutrients.” It is just a fact, common sense that  “even at lower levels of consumption, alcohol can be problematic for older people.”

More drunk drivers,  motorists are hitting the sauce before hitting the road this holiday season too. About 1 percent of  the drivers stopped are charged  with impaired driving offences during the generally only one month long  Police province wide drunk drivers check stop campaigns .

In 2006, 232 Ontarians were killed in traffic accidents in which alcohol was a factor.  “We’ve had an increased number of impaired driving fatalities in Ontario though we’re still seeing a downward trend in Ontario,” is still not enough policing here.

An Australian study estimates that about half of all traffic accidents in Australia may be due to road rage and most of the others related to alcohol, impaired driving and yet the police falsely tend to pursue revenue generating speeding traffic tickets still and why?   Road rage is a relatively serious act; it can  be seen as a violation of human and property rights , an endangerment of  other’s personal well being, security.

“The Canadian Press TORONTO – The head of the Ontario Provincial Police says drivers who crash in bad weather because of their own negligence should have to pay the bill.  Commissioner Julian Fantino will propose absolute liability legislation today under the Highway Traffic Act to hold irresponsible drivers accountable. This essentially means making drivers pay for accidents in which they were driving aggressively in poor weather, not insurance companies  Fantino says at least 40 per cent of crashes are caused because people are going too fast in poor conditions and not paying attention.  He says his proposal targets people “who could care less” about how they are driving when the roads are bad.   Fantino says his proposal mirrors laws currently on the books in almost every state in the U.S.”

A study of the figures in the British Medical Journal showed a  gap between police and hospital data  showed a wide divergence in these figures   said one of the authors of the article, Mike Gill, professor of public health at Surrey University. The Police are known  to lie, and  they try to please their political bosses , to get a raise by generating revenue from traffic tickets too..

Now drivers getting better winter, all season tires would be also a better move.. brakes repaired regularly too. and while automotive  death rates have fallen drastically in the last decade in Canada too , the ubiquitous use of cell phones and BlackBerrys while driving pose a serious danger to drivers and others still too.
“Even so, snow tires are still a wise choice for motorists in southern Ontario, too. However, a snow tire is no surety against the repercussions of reckless or dangerous driving. And that’s the key thing.   More often than not, vehicular collisions on winter roads aren’t caused by the lack of snow tires on a vehicle. It’s (ALSO NOT ) caused by motorists who are driving too fast or not accordingly to the conditions.  This is also what Ontario Provincial Police Commissioner Julian Fantino (FALSELY) touched upon this week when he urged the government to increase fines and demerit points for drivers speeding in bad weather conditions – whether it’s snow, heavy rain or thick fog.  Fantino’s pitch came on the heels of a weekend that saw provincial police officers respond to more than 3,000 collisions as large swaths of the province were walloped by two snowstorms. At least 40% of crashes are caused by speeding in poor conditions and not paying attention, Fantino said. (His  unofficial, unreliable statistics, remark NOW  refers to a small period of accidents and not RATHER  the  true statistics for the whole year firstly  since most accidents are caused by rage, impaired driving, poor drivers, vehciles and driver errors). The Highway Traffic Act already has provisions and penalties for speeding and careless driving. Do we really need another section in the Act that specifically addresses bad driving in poor weather?  No, we don’t.  What we do need is the strict enforcement of existing traffic laws – not just about speeding but also signaling turns and taking the proper precautions before changing lanes.”  http://www.tirereview.com/default.aspxtype=wm&module=4&id=2&state=DisplayFullText&item=13392
Furthermore I call Commissioner Julian Fantino a liar and I do ask him SPECIFICALLY to prove with Honourable statistics  that at least 40 per cent of the ROAD crashes are caused SOLELY because car drivers, truck drivers  are going too fast in poor road conditions, unrelated to any other factors now too. We all can play on statistics anyway we want, but let’s us have the whole truth rather  here too.. while

” official statistics showed that only five per cent of crashes are caused by drivers breaking the speed limit. Drivers who let their attention wander cause more than six times as many accidents.” Driver error accounted for 66 per cent of accidents.. and add the road rage, impaired, drunk drivers, bad poorly maintained vehicles to that too .. Most reasonable and reasoning people have seen the folly of speed cameras for decades now too.

Many people Canada wide do now often complain about still being harassed, bullied by Traffic cops and getting unecessary traffic tickets, especialy it seems in Ontario, Alberta too. Cops are no angels themselves for sure.  http://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2008/06/12/speed-related-highway-fatalities/

The insurance industry itself too  often sleeps with legislators, cops because it wants to make loads of money by finding out reasons not to pay out as well.. they support traffic tickets even though they do not reduce the car accidents significantly cause it gives more money to the insurance firms,  this is immoral gouging of consumers too often rather too.. now what about having some honest watchdogs and legislators rather. Go after the drunk drivers, raise the price of the booze firstly..

Hey even  many cops are lazy, they also do want to be paid for doing nothing, but merely driving around , speeding too for they get a rush doing this as  I  have often  witnessed it myself. Too bad for them they are paid to work still too. Maybe we can outlaw citizens driving any cars all together that way the cops and legislators too can still  get paid and not have much to do.

”  Some cops guilty of reckless policing . So why is that so many police officers go brain dead when assigned to traffic duty? Answer me that.    “http://www.theglobeandmail.com/blogs/driving

Even Premier Dalton McGuinty at it again? Premier Dalton McGuinty says he won’t be forcing Ontario motorists to use snow tires during the winter.  not following the lead of Quebec, which introduced mandatory snow tire legislation.. so he uses another back door.. that will costs the citizens a lot more money… liability legislation today under the Highway Traffic Act to hold the supposedly irresponsible drivers accountable.Shortage of governmental money means rather  another hidden Ontario tax too.

> Our Conservative MP has sent to all households, at taxpayers’ expense, a so-called newsletter (trimmed in the Conservative colour of choice, blue), which mentions virtually nothing about Brant, the riding he represents.
> Like all Harper MPs, he is told what to say and write and, as the message from Conservative Party headquarters must be applicable to all parts of Canada, little mention is made of an MP’s riding or the MP’s constituents.
> The content of the newsletter, apart from a generic piece about Remembrance Day, is simply Conservative Party propaganda with, most oddly, no mention at all of the Prime Minister’s decision to prorogue Parliament after sitting only 12 days.

and how is the snow removal services , road CLEARING services in the rest of Canada, STILL POOR, pretentious? in Alberta and in Ontario now too?

Paradoxically, despite all the dangers, warnings

Paradoxically, despite all the dangers, warnings ,  most people continue to drink beyond safe levels on a weekly basis that is more than 14 units of alcohol for women and 21 units for men. At the heart of this strange contradiction is a false belief, best encapsulated by the former Prime Minister in his introduction to the first national alcohol strategy. In the document, Tony Blair assured readers that “alcohol misuse by a small minority” was responsible for the rising levels of social and health harm. In short, problem drinkers are “other people”, spoiling it for the rest of us. In reality this is not so.. Drinking alcohol  has become too common amongst too many people.

Holiday stress, along with getting laid off, has caused too many a person to start drinking heavily and this situation is not unusual.. Sadly when most people think about the upcoming holidays, they think about friends, family, food and good cheer. And for many people, the weeks between Thanksgiving and New Year’s are still particularly difficult. Financial problems are tough to handle for most people at any time, but they can seem overwhelming during this season of giving. Due to unresolved stress Feelings of loneliness, isolation and despair may also intensify but alcohol and drugs are never the answer still. Unfortunately, your friend’s   Many people turn to alcohol falsely believing that it helps them to relax and to cope with stress and worry. And because many people think that New Year’s Eve and similar occasions must always be celebrated with alcohol, it’s often readily available, providing another excuse to drink. It actually will likely cause more problems, and not effectively deal with the ones still not resolved Many people next tend to go to excess, extremes, and   drinking larger amounts of alcohol can increase the risk of a deadly form of liver damage called cirrhosis, heart disease, some types of cancer and injuries. And even moderate drinking can often have harmful consequences in the wrong setting, such as one should not    drink and drive, and drinking alcohol during a pregnancy may  seriously harm a developing baby. Alcohol dependence, also called alcoholism, often  means that if a person tries to stop or cut back on drinking, he or she may experience anxiety, sweating, trembling, trouble sleeping, nausea and vomiting. Drinking can be risky even for people who aren’t dependent on it. It may seriously still interfere with sleep and productivity, strain close relationships and get in the way of spending time with loved ones. It not only also puts the drinker at risk for becoming alcohol dependent as well as developing alcohol-related health problems. Too many people who really do now suffer from a drinking problem claim still don’t believe that anything is wrong. They faley try to justify that they’re drinking to cope with a particularly stressful time. In their mind, suppposedly the basic stress is the unresolved problem, not the drinking. They say they can stop drinking whenever they want, but they don’t. Two wrongs do nto make one right here too.  Denial is a common obstacle that prevents many people from seeking help.

It’s also worrying that motorists are continuing to ignore the drink-drive message. ‘The anti-drinking and driving message has to be got across, not just at this time of year but at all times.’ ‘There is no safe option to drink alcohol if you’re planning on getting behind the wheel.  ‘There is also no fail-safe guide as to how to stay under the legal drink drive limit – that’s why we are urging people to not drink at all if they have a vehicle with them.

“Make a choice and stick to it – drink or drive. “Don’t drink and drive,”  If you drive at twice the legal alcohol limit you are at least 30 times more likely to cause a road crash than a driver who hasn’t been drinking. If you plan to drive the only safe option is not to drink. Drivers’ reaction times and motoring skills deteriorate after even a small amount of alcohol – and get worse with increased alcohol consumption. If you are convicted for a drink-driving offence you will have a criminal record, lose your licence for a minimum of one year, may go to prison for up to six months, may have to pay a significant fine  and you may have difficulty hiring a car within 10 years of your conviction. If you are convicted of causing death by careless driving while under the influence of drink you face up to 14 years in prison, an unlimited fine and a minimum two-year driving ban. Other consequences include:
-facing exceptionally high insurance costs once you get your licence back.
-loss of a job (15 per cent of those convicted do), legal expenses and loss of personal transport and increased travel expenses.
-living with the knowledge that your irresponsibility has caused death, injury or severe distress to innocent people.

A research report providing results from a survey of adult drinking in Northern Ireland has been published .

Reality too many of the binge drinkers., if not already are likely to become hard core alcoholics.

The survey, conducted on behalf of the Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety, examines the amount people drink, when, where and what they drink and who they drink with.

It also examines how drinking behaviours vary across different sections of the public, the proportion of people who binge drink, problem drinking, and perceptions of drinking.

Key Findings

The key findings relating to the Adult Drinking Patterns Survey in Northern Ireland 2008 are:

* More than seven in ten (72%) adults drink alcohol.

* A larger proportion of males (74%) than females (70%) drink alcohol.

* Most drinking occurs over the weekend and peaks on Saturdays.

* The most common drink consumed is wine (50%), closely followed by beer (48%).

* Most of those who drank in the week prior to the survey had consumed alcohol at home (64%), and nearly one quarter (24%) had consumed alcohol in a pub.

* More than four in five (81%) respondents had exceeded the recommended daily limits during the week prior to the survey.

* Approximately four in five males (79%) and females (83%) exceed their recommended daily limits during the week prior to the survey.

* Nearly one quarter (24%) of respondents drank above the weekly sensible levels.

* Over one quarter (26%) of male respondents and over one fifth (22%) of female respondents drank above the weekly sensible levels in the week prior to the survey.

* Nearly a third (32%) of those who drank in the week before the survey had engaged in at least one binge drinking session.

* Males (35%) were more likely than females (29%) to binge drink.

* Over half (54%) of drinkers aged 18-29 years engaged in at least one binge drinking session in the week prior to the survey, and they are more likely to binge drink than respondents in the older groups.

* One in 10 respondents (10%) of those who drank in the week prior to the survey are highly likely to have a problem with alcohol, according to the CAGE analysis.

* Over half (56%) of those who consumed alcohol in the week prior to the survey considered themselves to be light drinkers, two in five (40%) considered themselves to be moderate drinkers and 4% considered themselves to be heavy drinkers.

Comparisons between 2005 and 2008 are:

* The proportion of adults who drank above the weekly sensible levels in the week prior to the survey significantly decreased from 29% in 2005 to 24% in 2008.

* The proportion of adults who engaged in at least one binge drinking session in the week prior to the survey significantly decreased from 38% in 2005 to 32% in 2008.

Attitudes To Alcohol Must Change. A health Minister  has called for a change in attitudes towards alcohol by both the public and the drinks industry all year now too. Statistics which show an increase of in the number of people   binge drinking, getting drunk  and that the statistics also show that we still have a long way to deal with this major problem. 81% of people who choose to drink are still exceeding the recommended daily limits. The cost of alcohol misuse to our society is very real. In just over 10 years, there has been a startling 86% increase in the numbers of people dying due to alcohol related harm. “Now, more than ever, we should all be working together to really tackle this issue head on and I believe the drinks industry has a key role to play. Supermarkets in particular sell alcohol far too cheaply. I am extremely disappointed that despite having met with each of the major supermarkets, and received their personal assurances that they take this matter extremely seriously, those words have not as yet translated into meaningful action. “On the contrary, they are flooded with festive drinks promotions that will only encourage people to indulge further in binge drinking. This, in my view, is totally unacceptable.   Action speaks louder than words. On this occasion, profit is being put before public health.”  “The harsh reality is that although alcohol misuse is known to be damaging and harmful to health and well-being, many people still drink to excess. This must change, and in this respect we all have a collective responsibility in tackling this issue – individuals, society, government and the drinks industry alike.”    http://www.emaxhealth.com/2/63/27952/attitudes-alcohol-must-change.html

People are drinking more alcohol in many societies than ever before. In the UK, Ireland, Denmark, and increasingly Australia, young people drink more alcohol than those in the USA, France, and other Mediterranean countries. The way in which adolescents drink in different countries also varies. Frequency of drinking, regular drunkenness, binge drinking, and being drunk before the age of 13 years, are all indicators of an unhealthy pattern of alcohol misuse that is becoming more common. So, for example, 27% of UK 15-year-olds admit to drinking at least five drinks in a row in the past 30 days compared with 22% in 1995; in girls, as many as 29% binge drink. In the USA, 19% of 15-year-olds binge drink. Accidental death, self-harm, suicide, injury, violent behaviour, unprotected sex, alcohol dependence, and liver disease can all result. Nearly half of the alcohol drunk by these young people comes from the family home. Supermarkets, local shops, off-licences, pubs, and clubs provide the rest.  http://madhavgopalkrish.wordpress.com/2008/03/22/more-young-people-drink-more/?referer=sphere_related_content/

“Reality too many of the binge drinkers., if not already are likely to become hard core alcoholics. The real problem of alcohol misuse was much wider than previously thought   We are drinking more now than we have ever done since before the First World War.

For liver disease and other medical conditions, there can be a time lag of 10 or more years from the onset of serious drinking to reaping the consequences. Now we are seeing patients, particularly women, in their 20s with advanced alcoholic liver disease – a real tragedy for their family as well as themselves.”

Politics- Political, corruptions, inducements, Christians, Alcoholics

Provincial governments in Canada are making record breaking profits by encouraging the citizens to consume even more  alcohol, beer and are making even  more even by the  taxation of these products. They should not be  encouraging the citizens to do so.
.
Our Canadian Christian evangelical Prime Minister Stephen Harper makes an essential stop at the Irish Guinness brewery, he sure has fooled all those fundamental western Christians who voted from him cause they had been lied to that he was an Christian evangelical abstainer    http://www.irishtimes.com/news/canada-pm-arrives-in-dublin-ahead-of-g8-summit-1.1430527

The supposed other big past big news over the past decade by the liberals was  that several high profile Christian advocates are winning Conservative nominations across the country. The Globe &  Mail had a rational analysis of the situation in an editorial. so what!
  .
Now  is difficult to understand the media fuss about Christian activists helping to secure the nominations of at least eight Canadian federal Conservative candidates in the next election. It is  no less  difficult not to understand why no one opposes the election of Alcoholics, or the use of Alcohol to try to secure votes.. but they will oppose the election of Christian persons, It is not difficult to understand why some newspapers would splash a headline on the topic across their front page, thereby starting the entire insanity in the first place.
 .

Now  let’s look at the problem with the current system. By signing up a group of people to pack a nomination meeting, the chances of nominating a candidate who the party and constituents do not want is dramatically increased.
 .
With the current political nominating system it’s very easy to trade votes for money, booze, or favours, and it becomes about stacking meetings rather than being the “best” candidate. And  during the leadership race, we saw blatant restrictions of membership forms. If you didn’t support a certain candidate  ,it was impossible to get a membership form from the party, and when you were granted one, it would often take months to get it, or it would be mailed to the wrong address. Since it’s all about being on the membership list and it’s pretty easy to keep people off the membership list, abuse is practically encouraged. So why not switch to the primary system? Every Canadian could register with a party or as a non-partisan on their income tax by checking a box.  Sure, you could still truck in your church members to vote so long as they’re registered to the party in question but with many more eligible voters, it would become a lot harder to take over a riding or win a nomination. With a wider range of people voting, it would presumably allow for candidates the general population prefers to be nominated. It would also become impossible to restrict membership forms, leaving leadership races more wide open and democratic… considering the bad press all parties get through nasty nomination battles and leadership races, it would be a solution everyone would benefit from. Don’t forget a recall system too.
.
Now, here  the other laws On political abuse:

119. (1) Every one who(a) being the holder of a judicial office, or being a
member of Parliament or of the legislature of a province, corruptly
(i) accepts or obtains,
(ii) agrees to accept, or
(iii) attempts to obtain,
any money, valuable consideration, office, place or employment for himself or
another person in respect of anything done or omitted or to be done or omitted

(b) gives or offers, corruptly, to a person mentioned in paragraph (a) any
money, valuable consideration, office, place or employment in respect of
anything done or omitted or to be done or omitted by him in his official
capacity for himself or another person,
is guilty of an indictable offence and liable to imprisonment for a term not
exceeding fourteen years.

70 percent of Canadians drink alcohol, 15 percent Canadians are alcoholic, binge drinkers so of course alcohol is associated now with politics, politicians as well..

Only “Tiny number of police officers part of large drinking and driving problem   Sun Nov 9, 12:03 PM   VANCOUVER, B.C. – The numbers are staggering.  Mothers Against Drunk Driving says 75,000 people are arrested annually in Canada for drinking and driving.  There are an additional 100,000 to 150,000 24-hour suspensions handed out each year by police, said MADD chief executive officer Andy Murie.  Sometimes the people who make those arrests, the front-line police officers who try to get the drunks off the road become – albeit rarely – part of the statistics.  “You might find 10 to 15 incidents a year involving police officers,” said Murie in a recent interview from his Oakville, Ont., office.  “The thing is that with the 10 to 15, because they are police officers and they get charged with a crime, it’s news.”  Often front-page news, most recently in British Columbia.  In recent weeks, the public learned that three B.C. police officers are facing drunk-driving charges – two members of the RCMP and a third from the New Westminster police department.  One of the off-duty RCMP members was arrested for drunk driving after a Jeep collided with a motorcycle, killing a 21-year-old man in Delta, B.C.  Other high-profile cases this year across the country include an Edmonton police officer facing one count of driving with a blood alcohol level above the legal limit and five counts each of impaired driving causing bodily harm and dangerous driving causing bodily harm.  In Saskatoon, a judge will decide the fate later this month of a senior member of the Saskatoon police service charged with impaired driving.  At his trial, two arresting officers testified that Insp. Al Stickney got behind the wheel after they observed him drunkenly staggering across the street.  “This year there’s been about 10 (arrests),” said Murie. “That’s pretty normal for a year.”  ..  the number of police officers caught drinking and driving is a tiny percentage of the total  ..   Benedikt Fischer, a criminologist at the faculty of Health Sciences at Simon Fraser University, said police officers are recruited “from the human race and despite the fact we expect so, human behaviour doesn’t stop on-or off-duty.”  Fischer also believes the number of police officers who drive drunk is probably higher than the arrest statistics indicate.  Being a cop is part of a “professional or police culture” dominated by machismo and camaraderie where police officers spend a lot of time socializing with each other, said Fischer, and often it involves alcohol.  “Drinking among police officers is often quite extensive and excessive, probably more so than in other professions,” he said.  When an RCMP member in B.C. is identified as having a drinking problem, he or she gets to know Dr. Ian MacDonald, the regional health services officer for RCMP in B.C.  After an assessment, they might be referred outside the force to an independent addiction specialist.  Whether it’s determined they have a drinking problem or not, all RCMP members arrested for drinking and driving come to MacDonald’s attention and must have an assessment.  MacDonald also thinks that MADD’s numbers are low and that the number of police officers arrested for drunk driving is higher than 10 to 15.  “That strikes me as low. If you look at B.C., we might have two or three charges a year. And if B.C. is 10 per cent of the population, that would be 20 to 30 across Canada.”  Mark Berber, a lecturer in psychiatry at the University of Toronto and an assistant professor at Queen’s University, is also skeptical of the MADD figures.  “It’s surprisingly low considering the stress these guys and gals are under.”  Studies, he said, have suggested that police officers have one of the most stressful jobs and “unfortunately a small number may seek to reduce their anxiety and stress by having a drink.”  He has counselled police officers in his private practice.  “They have spoken about seeking relief from stress and through medication and also drinking,” Berber said.  RCMP members who get caught drinking and driving, in addition to the court process, must endure an internal code of conduct investigation, said RCMP spokeswoman Const. Annie Linteau.  Members appear before an adjudication board and the result could be dismissal, she said. ”  http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/081109/national/police_drunk_driving
 .
”  We only read/see about the few due to the police buddy system which will leave all but the most blatant of the cops drunk (ie involved in an accident) either being escorted home, or not even bothering to perform the breathe analysis. Do you really think the public is so stupid to believe that the police are held accountable to their partners? I have seen this first hand and know it for truth. So MADD get off your horse and see the facts for what they really are, police covering up for police”
.
” I get the uncomfortable impression that there is a level of spin coming from MADD over this matter! If anything, I would have expected MADD to have taken a highly reproachful attitude toward anyone in this profession(as they do to anyone in any other profession) who CHOOSE to drink and drive. Yes, it makes the news if it’s a cop and so does any other citizen who kills someone while drunk at the wheel. “
” There is absolutely no excuse for anyone driving drunk,be they officers or not. We are all aware of the fact that it is illegal and should all be held to the same standard. As to lighter sentencing, police generally get booted off the force after conviction.  “

Now in reality too often even a professing Christian Canadian Prime Minister Stepheh Harper buys alcohol for others to elicit their support. Will he  also give out playboy too now?

A charismatic leader is someone who really cares about the good welfare of all the people in Canada equally, French or English, easterner or westerner, or whatever, and not another pretender, Christian imposter, Alcoholic, liars, self centered, greedy persons that we seem to too often have instead..

so don’t be stupid NOW again,
and don’t select a Liberal leader who
– is a pretender Christian,
– a liar,
– an alcoholic,
– or one who cannot speak english, never mind read it.
but note above all it has to be one only from Quebec..

TRUDEAU’S SON Justine IS TOO YOUNG, and INEXPERIENCED STILL.
for without the support of the Quebec voters, without a PM from Quebec, you next cannot hope to have a majority government as Harper keeps on finding out.. again and again!
 .
PS anyone who is naive to say that professing Christians do not drink alcohol, get drunk just should read all the letters I often do get from professing Christian pastors acknowledging they drink wine, alcohol and trying to justify it..
.
According to the pastor Harper was a good christian. The  hypocritical, pretentious fundamental right winged evangelical pastor of New Life Beginings in LaSalle, Quebec  Preaches next openly today now  for us not to have anything to do with a person who drinks wine, and to stand up against all people who do any wrong, to openly speak to them, and lies and says come and talk to me your pastor after church. I am always really interested to hear from you about all of your concerns but  in reality when you do try to talk to him..  I thus told him Harper drinks beer.. but since he himself cannot handle negative truths, he the ostrich no good pastor refuses to talk with me  and  says I am tired now, I refuse to hear any of that, I refuse to believe any of that, that is all gossip,  slanders, and we do not allow anyone who causes disturbance, problems, gives any criticism in our church, so please leave now. So much for their false professing Christian love, brotherly love, their openness now, free speech too.. The same pastor says he does not believe anything the news media writes at all. So who does he believe? only himself it seems.
.

For the record, Stephen Harper Prime Minister of Canada himself now did  not even deny to me that he drinks beers and/or alcohol, or that he even gives presents of alcohol to others as well. So why do any of the others? http://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2009/01/23/alcoholic/

Now there’s free speech for you!  In the grand tradition of modern liberalism, the Huffington Post has banned this writer from commenting on their articles and “news” stories.   This morning, in an attempt to post a comment, the following greeting emerged:
“Sorry, but you have been banned from commenting.”

In this the Huffington Post joins the Obama campaign in stifling free speech.  Apparently you are free to comment, but only if your comments support their ideology.  Huffington is fine posting pornography, but let a conservative challenge some of the assumptions, and well, the thought police deploy.

There is satisfaction knowing the information we presented could not be sufficiently refuted and so their only recourse was censorship.

Face it the devil hates the good people, especially the straight shooters, always has and always will too, the darkness hates the light as the Bible had said.. one can try to tone down, water down the message but they will still hate you unless you tell them what they want to hear it seems.. anything but the real negative truth about themselves especially still.. breathless public exposure of the Bullies, abusers, the bad, guilty persons serves everyone’s best interest next too. God undeniably himself does not show false partialities or accept lightly the human rights, personal abuse of others.  Shout the truth from the housetops..

The best way to save money in Politics

The Bible’s suggestions on electing rulers..

(Deu 1:13 KJV)  Take you wise men, and understanding, and known among your tribes, and I will make them rulers over you.
(Deu 1:14 KJV)  And ye answered me, and said, The thing which thou hast spoken is good for us to do.
(Deu 1:15 KJV)  So I took the chief of your tribes, wise men, and known, and made them heads over you, captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds, and captains over fifties, and captains over tens, and officers among your tribes.
(Deu 1:16 KJV)  And I charged your judges at that time, saying, Hear the causes between your brethren, and judge righteously between every man and his brother, and the stranger that is with him.
(Deu 1:17 KJV)  Ye shall not respect persons in judgment; but ye shall hear the small as well as the great; ye shall not be afraid of the face of man; for the judgment is God’s: and the cause that is too hard for you, bring it unto me, and I will hear it.
(Deu 1:18 KJV)  And I commanded you at that time all the things which ye should do.

(1 Tim 3:1 KJV)  This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.
(1 Tim 3:2 KJV)  A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;
(1 Tim 3:3 KJV)  Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous;
(1 Tim 3:4 KJV)  One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity;
(1 Tim 3:5 KJV)  (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)
(1 Tim 3:6 KJV)  Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil.
(1 Tim 3:7 KJV)  Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.

The best way to save money in Politics is to firstly fire all of the Alcoholics in the civil and public services, governments.. all governmental Ministers, MPs, provincial  MPPs, MLAs, MNAs  included, not just in Canada now too?

For decades I have been writing to news editors, politicians about important issues… and every once a while there come at different peaks significant writings that do have historical effect.. such as this one.. that affected both Ralph Klein’s and Paul Martin’s political career.. and will it effect Peter McKay and Stephen Harper’s now as well?

“Prime Minister Paul Martin looks at a red wine while visiting a winery in Beamsville, Ont. Sunday. Mind you this is not what real Professing Christians tend to do especially on Sunday.. and this is not a rare occasion for the PM Paul Martin who has been giving out free beer too it seems.. as I have detailed here elsewhere too.. But Paul Martin the PM is still too often associated with alcoholic beer, he and his party members too… Liberal party workers, members have pizza and beer parties too. The New Liberals- more Alcoholics at the taxpayer’s expenses too. Unacceptable. and next the PM Paul Martin will likely like Premier Ralph Klein try to say he is not an alcoholic, he like Premier Ralph Klein only encourages beer drinking and drink beer too often cause this is another Canadian value.. even the related drunk driving.. the too often stingy, unimpassioned of others abusive behavior of alcoholics, plus the permanent brain damage alcohol causes. Alocholics are known to be liars, they often even lie to themselves and others often saying even they are not alcoholics too. You still can tell if they are aloholics by what they do and who their good Friends are.You can still tell who they are for they like to be around other alcoholics, and now also by the amount of alcohol they do like to have or to even have even around them. They also do like to have and to be often around plenty of beer and alcohol. Klein was known to be a regular drinker in a tavern in Calgary when he worked as a reporter before becoming the Premier.. for that is his regular church of prayer..””Beamsville, Ont. — One of Paul Martin’s top aides apologized to Canadian parents yesterday after saying on national television that they would buy popcorn and beer with the money the Conservatives are offering for child care. The Conservatives rolled out a child-care plan last week that would give parents of preschool children an annual $1,200 per child to spend as they see fit Scott Reid, Mr. Martin’s communications director, tried to explain on CBC News: Sunday the difference between that approach — which he broke down to $25 a week — and the Liberal plan to establish a national child-care system. “Working families need care,” he said. “They need care that is regulated, safe and secure and that’s what we’re building here. Don’t give people $25 a week to blow on beer and popcorn. Give them child-care spaces that work.””
Reid’s apology doesn’t change the Liberal policy on daycare, which fails to respect parents’ choices and trust them to decide what’s best for their kids His comment was not just a “slip of the tongue” but a reflection of a long pattern of Liberal attitude that devalues parents’ choices, Kate Tennier, founder of Advocates for Childcare Choice, said she was appalled by Reid’s comments and said they shows “Paul Martin appears to agree with this rather scary notion of government intrusion into Canadian family life,” she said.” How really scary!” About 13% of the nation’s children receive daycare from government-sanctioned providers, while the other 87% either receive care from a stay-at-home parent, a relative, or an unlicensed daycare provider who are left out by the Liberals.

How appropriate this would occur while Paul Martin was on a Sunday at a wine factory.. The Liberals aid that the Parent’s can’t be trusted to handle the tax payer’s money and what only the Liberals can? Real Liberal Rubbish. We all do from real experiences too already do know how Liberal cannot be trusted with our taxpayer’s money and that they wrongfully even buy beer, wine, Martinis, alcohol with it too. All of this was, is just more Liberal hypocrisy! Not only is any cheating, lying, stealing, tax payer’s money abuses is unacceptable also for any civil, public servant, elected representatives, not even for one of them, and no matter what political party they may support too, it is also always inappropriate, unethical, immoral to use one cent of the taxpayer’s money on booze, alcohol as well at any time and anywhere now too.

Since we normal persons already tend to know the negative effect of Alcoholism.. Let me be also very clear about it too, I am rightfully against any brain damaged or not alcoholics having any position, job in governments, the civil, public services, rather they should all be fired immediately rather and that includes any Prime Minister, Premier, Member of Parliament or their staff members

This may be the season for some to be jolly with booze, drugs but keep it all, all out of politics, the governments.
EDMONTON (CP) – Ralph Klein says he wouldn’t be Alberta’s premier today and he could be dead by now if he’d kept up his heavy drinking. The premier swore off the bottle in 2001 after a night on the town which ended with him swearing at men at a homeless shelter and throwing money at them. But in year-end media interviews this week he acknowledged he continues to have the odd drink. “I probably would have died of liver disease,” Klein said in one such interview with The Canadian Press. “It’s not only unhealthy, but it’s politically unhealthy. Mentally unhealthy.” Klein conceded he has had a few drinks in the last year, but there have been differing accounts of how often and how much. After his encounter at the homeless shelter, Klein admitted that boozing had taken a toll on his ability to carry out his duties as premier. “I do know I have a problem, and I do know I’m going to deal with it,” he said at the time as tears rolled down his cheeks. “I am going to go as long as I possibly can and hopefully end this journey without having another drink . . . one day at a time.” Klein also said then that he had considered resigning. “When you get up and you are feeling rotten and you wonder, ‘Gee, I feel this badly, do I really want to get on and do the work of the day,’ you bring yourself around to do it, but it is a lot better to do it with an absolutely clear head.” Klein admitted he drank the equivalent of a bottle of wine every day.” this is all true? you really believe him??? His decades of alcohol did not cause any brain damage now too? How come also very few other people can give up drinking alcoholic that easy now too? His still often odd behavior, emotional outburst is not associated with his alcohol problem?

Can you really believe as the truth what most of these too many still too alcoholic politicians say to us these days too??””

It seems that according to some  Senator Joe Bilden is an alcoholic too, and Barrack Obama too?  Wow!!

What about any other politicians?

Reality! These days it is too hard to tell the difference between secular persons and  the professing Christians . Genuine Born Again Evangelical Christians are total abstainers from smoking, drugs, alcohol, cheating, lying, stealing, tax evasions, pornography, or rather all personal vices, Impairments http://thefocusonthefamily.wordpress.com/2008/06/30/abstainers/

The major undeniable  weakness, weakness, discrepancies, shortfall in the soft underbelly of  the personal life of Barrack Obama and even Canada’s prime Minister Stephen Harper is clear, and  is that already   proven  too, that there is a wide discrepancy between what he verbally says he is and  who he really is now and  and what he in fact still next does. Even now starting clearly with his profession of being a real practicing Christian. Barack Obama for continuity he is not a real practicing Christian and he undeniably has violated God laws continually, and there is no excuse for it.. While it is often a thorny issue, discussion in the Christian faith, amongst the protestants and evangelicals whether Christians drinking wine is tolerate now, the Bible in both the old and new testament clearly and undeniably still  says that anyone in a leadership position cannot consume wine, alcohol or get drunk. This is not even subject even to any debate now as well. Both Obama and Bilden do undeniably drink alcohol now.. and what about McCain and Palin now  too?

Again ““Dr. Daniel Akin, President of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary has written an article in favor of the famous Resolution #5 (Resolution calling for total opposition to alcohol). Alcohol is the number one drug problem among teenagers. (1 Cor. 8:13; 9:19-22; 10:32-33). Because I am an example to others, I will make certain no one ever walks the road of sorrow called alcoholism because they saw me take a drink and assumed, “if it is alright for him it is alright for me.” No, I will choose to set an uncompromising example of abstinence because I love them.  I will seek my joy and filling in the Spirit not in alcohol. I love the Phillips translation of Ephesians 5:18 which reads, “Don’t get your stimulus from wine (for there is always the danger of excessive drinking), but let the Spirit stimulate your souls.” Psalm 4:7-8 adds, “You [O Lord] have put more joy in my heart than they have when their grain and wine abound. In peace I will both lie down and sleep; for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.”  There is no record that Jesus drank strong drink,  As a pastor or church leader, would I demand abstinence for  leadership? Absolutely! The principle of Proverbs 31:4-5 is appropriately applied here, “It is not for Kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine, or for rulers to take strong drink, lest they drink and forget what has been decreed and pervert the rights of all the afflicted.” “
(1 Cor 11:28 KJV)  But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. 29  For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. 30   For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. 31  For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.

(Prov 3:33 KJV)  The curse of the LORD is in the house of the wicked: but he blesseth the habitation of the just.

Jesus himself had said that professing to be a Christian is not enough,

Matt 3:8 Bring forth fruit that is consistent with repentance [let your lives prove your change of heart];

Gal 5:23 Gentleness (meekness, humility), self-control (self-restraint, continence). Against such things there is no law [that can bring a charge].

Matt 7:16 You will fully recognize them by their fruits. Do people pick grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles?17 Even so, every healthy (sound) tree bears good fruit [worthy of admiration], but the sickly (decaying, worthless) tree bears bad (worthless) fruit. 18 A good (healthy) tree cannot bear bad (worthless) fruit, nor can a bad (diseased) tree bear excellent fruit [worthy of admiration].  19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and cast into the fire. 20 Therefore, you will fully know them by their fruits.

The Bible’s suggestions on electing rulers.. good managers
(1 Tim 3:2 KJV) A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;
(1 Tim 3:3 KJV) Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous;
(1 Tim 3:4 KJV) One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity;

1 Tim 3:2 Now a bishop (superintendent, overseer) must give no grounds for accusation {but} must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, circumspect {and} temperate {and} self-controlled ( Sober) ; [he must be] sensible {and} well behaved {and} dignified and lead an orderly (disciplined) life; [he must be] hospitable [showing love for and being a friend to the believers, especially strangers or foreigners, and be] a capable {and} qualified teacher,
Alcoholics, wine drinkers, smokers, drug users too they all  tend to have evidentially lost their self control..

Undeniably whether you are also a leader or not getting drunk is still an unacceptable sin as well. And all true Christians consider this still a sinful act

Obama amongst some others  reiterated his support for civil unions for homosexuals. No surprise there. Some Christians   do indeed allow for the conferring of some legal rights, short of marital status, on gays as a simple matter of fairness. We cannot legislate or enforce morality. Nevertheless all true Christians consider this a sinful act But I suspect his rationale raised some hackles. “If people find that controversial then I would just refer them to the Sermon on the Mount, which I think is, in my mind, for my faith, more central than an obscure passage in Romans”. Barrack Obama. Since when did Romans 1 become obscure? I thought pitting the words of Jesus against those of Paul was a tactic of Red Letter Christians, not something a serious candidate for the Oval Office would engage in.There is no refererence to gay civil unions in the Sermon on the Mount (unless you stretch the Golden Rule beyond all recognition). Perhaps Obama mixed up his Bible references   Is Barack Obama a Red Letter Christian? http://blog.christianitytoday.com/ctliveblog/archives/2008/03/is_barack_obama.html

Is Obama What another  type of Christian  also now ?  Are there now really so many different types?  My next door neighbor tells me he is a Christian, and he says is a member of the church of Jesus Christ, the LATTER DAY SAINTS, Mormons, and he says now today he reads the Bible and prays daily too.  But  when I started to ask him about what the   Apostle had said in the Bible now about getting drunk,  he next said he did not believe in any of the the 12 apostles  writings, but yes, he believes that these writings  they are in the books that supposedly composing the Common Bible, but he does not  believe they are really part of the valid Bible. So when I next had further asked him what he now had defined as being the true Bible, he said the Bible according to Him now  was solely the spoken word of Jesus. He is another one of  those red lettered Christians..  So I asked him if he believed solely   in the  4 Gospels, the Bible books written now anyway by some of the 12   Apostles of Jesus anyway,  even Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.. and so if he really is now  believing in the 4  Gospel, the  still   Apostolic writings so what was the problem in him now even believing that the Book of Revelation  in the Standard Bible now was aalso a  part of the Bible? After all it was written by the same Apostle John who now had written  the book of John, and the epistles of John now too.. Now he next replied and had said  he did not believe in the book of Revelation as being a part of the Bible. Wow! This is getting all so confusing, needlessly complicated too , listening to him firstly. Really now what does he  believe in cause I really cannot figure out how he picks and chooses to believe, it seems he believes in the ten commandments, but he does not even know what they are still too, he really believes in the Gospel solely according  to him and not the Gospel according to Jesus and the Apostles.. and he admits has these complex rules for Bible interpretations as to what is valid and what is not, all  made by his church, and he next had said I should go to his church to find out what these rules now are. I replied and said I did not need any more of these clearly false mere man made religion, rules to tell me what part of the Bible I should believe in firstly , for the Holy sprit himself, the spirit of Christ has clearly promised to lead us and to guide us personaly now  into all truth, not rather anyone else who admits they do not even believe in the standard Bible now too. The Bible and Jesus Christ is the same yesterday today and forever too.  I can read for myself and I can believe in it myself without has clearly distorted directions, guidance, rules now too. . I also either take it all as being  God’s word’s or none of it. It is as simple as that for a start now too.

In reality Genuine Born Again, Evangelical, Christians are total abstainers from smoking, drugs, alcohol, cheating, lying, stealing, tax evasions, pornography, or rather all personal vices, Impairments, gay sex now too.

Clearly ** The Bible teaches against drinking alcoholic beverages.

The liars and the demons  of course will say other wise.
