What prayer is not!

Prayer for a start is not merely cursing someone immediately because they did something we do not agree with..

James 5:13 Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms.
James 5:14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
James 5:15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

Many people have a false understanding of what prayer is.. to some persons prayer is actually cursing someone now too.. when I truthfully do tell some persons some thing they do not want to hear, or they do not agree with next I often have heard some people actually boast that they would humbly pray now and for , or against me and God would hear their prayer.. Boy are they are wrong, God does not hear such prayer, only the devil does, and we can resist the devil , make null what he does upon us.. Legitimate prayer is giving God permission to deal with a matter but still we all do need to always both pray in the will of God and with faith, but also to pray now without unconfessed sin for God to answer the prayer. .. if you are praying in faith, faith comes from knowing the world of God and thus knowing what you are allowed to pray..

when I pray I check with God as to what I am allowed to pray as per –
Mat 6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Mat 6:10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Mat 6:11 Give us this day our daily bread.
Mat 6:12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
Mat 6:13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Mat 6:14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
Mat 6:15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
Mat 6:16 Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
Mat 6:17 But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face;
Mat 6:18 That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.
