(2 Chr 15:2 KJV) The LORD is with you, while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of you; but if ye forsake him, he will forsake you. (Eph 5:18 KJV) And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; 19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; 20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
As basic common sense as it can be now it is understandable that if any person does not eat sufficient food that they next will become weak and hungry and even eventually die if they do not have real nourishment.. and so it now really still surprises me is how many Christians they even now still do not understand that they will next and do feel severely depressed when they have now neglected God for a too long period of time. For we all have a God shaped vacuum in our lives that does now have to be continually spiritually fed by dwelling upon God , and so now we all here do have to make a regular, personal effort, take real actions on our own part. We now cannot be falsely personally lazy, indifferent and expect God himself to do it for us. We all, each one of us do have to take a personal initiative daily even to continually, regularly focus on God, and one of the best ways to do that is to praise the Lord, to read his word, the Bible and to to sing spiritual songs. Otherwise we can only blame ourselves if we do become next severely depressed.
Psalm 63:1 A Psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah. O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsts for thee, my flesh longs for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; 2 To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary. :3 Because thy loving kindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee. 4 Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name. 5 My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips: 6 When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches. 7 Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice. 8 My soul follows hard after thee: thy right hand upholds me.
