Iris Evans Minister, Finance and Enterprise Alberta

DON’T EVEN THINK FALSELY FOR ONE SECOND that the provincial and municipal  Governments in Alberta have not lied often about the true state   of Alberta’s economy.   http://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2009/07/02/albertas-surprise-recession/

It is a fact the Alberta government helped to mislead the false notion that Alberta was A PLACE TO GET RICH, THAT WORKERS AND BUSINESS PERSONS CAN MAKE AN EASY QUICK FAST BUCK THERE, especially since there are no provincial sales taxes in Alberta.. MANY PEOPLE GOT THE FALSE OPINION AS A RESULT THAT THERE WERE PLENTY OF RICH PEOPLE IN ALBERTA THESE DAYS.. likely only those working for the oil and gas industries, and not the rest.. in reality for the salary difference are not much greater than those in Quebec and Ontario  for the average Joe.. but the actual costs of living is a lot, lot  higher overall.. In their false pride they have done many stupid things in Alberta, the leaders now as well.. they despised the poor people, they abuse the ordinary citizens too.. they lied, slandered others… so it should come as no surprise they too are now reaping what they sow.. facing an unexpected big recession.. many still lie as to how long this recession will last too..

Anyway the wise people knew that this day of the Albertan recession was coming, when the oil prices would drop again, for history repeats itself, even like it did in the 80’s in Alberta too.

I HAD ALSO WRITTEN BEFORE AND SAID THAT BETTER MANAGEMENT OF THE HEALTH CARE WAS NEEDED, AND THAT RALPH KLEIN WOULD LIVE TO REGRET HE SO READILY GAVE THE DOCTORS A BIG RAISE IN ALBERTA NOW TOO.

Calgary only has 60,000 more residents than Edmonton (1,124,163) and it makes a lot of false noise in that fact too cause it wants to attract much needed capital investors for non existing industrial, commercial aspects.. There basically are only 2 large cities in Alberta, Calgary and Alberta, and a handful of smaller towns.. Alberta has some of the biggest liars, spin doctors in Canada for the main cities are desperately seeking more  revenues, and capital investors and anyway they can get them now too even by lies, distortions. There is not much industrial, Manufacturing business in Alberta due to the shortage of labor and skilled persons, and high operating costs. People in Calgary and Alberta do often dream of becoming rich ,  but it is a far away dream when you consider the high costs of living there and the uncertainty of holding onto a job too.

CBC.ca –  Alberta has been particularly hard-hit by recession-fed job losses, with young people and unemployed men claiming federal Employment Insurance benefits in near record numbers, Statistics Canada said Tuesday.

I was also a Remax realtor, so I know the real picture, cost of living in Calgary Alberta and HOW DIRTY ALBERTA POLITICS NOW STILL IS.

38 years, and running, in power (with barely ever having to worry about so much as a bad dream of losing power to another party to force them to moderate their “vision” and be pragmatic) and the PCs still haven’t managed to develop enough economic durability to weather a recession better than the “have-not” provinces. Have enough of the blind voters yet realized that this gang of inept twits needs to be thrown out of office with their insane pandering to big business in favour of a government that actually believes in, and delivers, some leadership and governance in favour of the actual people of the province, and provides effective public services for them as well? http://www.cbc.ca/canada/edmonton/story/2009/09/06/edmonton-alberta-economy-recession.html#socialcomments

Subject: Re: Albertan Gov’t peddles fear to make us buy cuts
Thank you for your reply..

Now here is the reality.. I just spoke to a finishing carpenter today at 3.00 pm who had just now left Alberta cause he could not afford to live in Alberta, to pay for his children’s education, cause Alberta is too costly to live in still.. to costly to raise his  children in Alberta even though he now had no  problem in finding a job.

I had also now worked in Syncrude Fort McMurray as a Projects Engineer as well and with Dominion Bridge Calgary too.

Now for decades, since 1982 I wrote to the useless Alberta Ministers and got nothing but mostly lies and pretences, and you can tell the the Honourable Ed Stelmach , who is better than his last many predecessors now too, and now to his Conservative MLA’s that now too

Here is another reality now for decades instead  I do write to all of Canada’s major news editors, major politicians and remind them about the truth, the negative reality of Alberta that  I know quite well firsthand.. so they can compare my truths to Alberta spin doctors lies.

By the way not by choice I had to go to another province from Alberta to successfully get my much needed medical help cause unacceptably I did not get it in Alberta now.

And  the previous Albertan  justice Ministers and solicitor generals were also perverts, big liars too as I found out too communicating with them.. as bad as too many crooked lawyers , accountants, realtors, pastors,  and cops in Alberta now too. I have detailed that many time son the net too for all to read.. you see for me telling the whole truth is easier, and more simpler still too.

and what I write about really is not confidential for  the whole world can read it too on many many net sites..  starting with http://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/

Cash cow Alberta Traffic Fine Payment System Welcome to Alberta’s Online Traffic Payment service, which is a joint effort of the Government of   pay a traffic ticket online.. make the Alberta government, it cities, and police richer in this  very much cash strapped province

It’s all very simple: obey the laws.  You broke the law, accept the consequences, and if that hypocritical, absurd, extreme statement was the reality, the truth, everyone would next be in jail, all of the politicians, civil and public servants, cops firstly..

“We’re all for anything that can reduce the amount and severity of car crashes,”  and next will increase the amount of revenue to the insurance companies, after all each traffic  ticket helps to raise their insurance costs..  to make the insurance companies richer and their shareholders, but we may get a severe backlash when the citizens car  insurance rates rise dramatically next though.

This is also still simply not acceptable. There is a direct link between DRIVING and collisions. The MORE you drive, the more likely you are to be involved in a collision and the more likely you are to get seriously hurt . So the police will now give tickets to all drivers .

The police TRAFFIC program brings in hundreds of thousands of dollars but the police, city runs the program as revenue neutral. Profits are put back into more supposedly good  traffic safety initiatives,  but mainly into the police  empire building, so it really IS NOT THE CITIZENS GOOD WELFARE THEY FIRSTLY DO ALL CARE ABOUT.

Now in 2008, according to police statistics, there were 3,019 injury accidents in Calgary and 38 traffic fatalities.

And why is it also no one will answer the question? How many people are now are actually injured due to speeding over how many persons now are injured due to drunk drivers? 15 percent are injured due to speeding? and 45 percent due to drunk drivers? so how much resources are proportional giving by the police overall  to catching drunk drivers over the car speeders? proportionally?

The intersection cameras are being applauded by Alberta Health Services because “there is no doubt that collisions impact our health services,” said Nancy Staniland, manager of Injury Prevention & Control Services for Alberta Health.

“This is not only an obvious cash grab but they are putting our safety at risk to increase their revenues. For it is a known fact that the City of Calgary had  shortened the amount of time lights stay at yellow when they brought in red light cameras. In many cases you have no choice but to floor it to beat a red light. But now your choice will be between speeding up to avoid going through a red light or getting rear ended. If you get rear ended there’s a good chance you get end up with whiplash. Really makes you wonder just how far those in power will go to rob us.”

“As Alberta grows, drivers are causing more problems, he said: “A lot of people are impatient, there’s road rage like never before, an increase of vehicles on our roadways, With booming populations, there’s an increase in collisions.” wow those are smart observations, such as traffic tickets are good cash cows too,

and what all the people who speed are guilty of road rage? or is there a separate ticket being issued to road ragers? just as there is to drunk drivers?

“This is simply not acceptable. There is a direct link between speed and collisions. The faster you drive, the more likely you are to be involved in a collision and the more likely you are to get seriously hurt,” said Staff Sgt. Brett Marklund of the traffic section.
http://www.calgaryherald.com/Speed+green+cameras+start+today+Calgary/1451154/story.html

“In my perfect world, we are out of work. We’re not going to 80 or 90 injury collisions a year. We’re not investigating 30 or 40 fatalities a year, I’m not seeing thousands of (cases of) impaired driving a year. What we’re seeing is people driving safely and my guys writing zero tickets,”said Marklund.

A lot of our intersection crashes are related to speed. There’s in-deed a problem here at some locations, and now we can address both,” said acting Sgt. Aubrey Zalaski of Edmonton’s specialized traffic unit. The police can get promoted for getting more cash, giving out more tickets too.. self serving or really serving the public interest?

AND WHERE DO IN REALTY THE POLICE OFFICERS GET ALL OF THEIR  COMMON SENSE STATISTICS? SUPPORTED BY THE FIGMENTS OF ONE’S  IMAGINATION AND THE NEED TO JUSTIFY THEIR JOBS.. CAN I SEE THEIR DETAIL SUPPORT  STATISTICS, POLICE TRAFFIC TICKETS REPORTS  IN PRINT? NO? AND WHY NOT?

So why are Calgary drivers such chronic lead-foots? or is the question why is it the Calgary city fathers are so money hungry? The  police services are  implementing the   speed cameras as a way of adding to their coffers..

In busy Toronto, police say  Drunk driving and careless turning are the main culprits for serious accidents in intersections and red light cameras are not used because of the fear of public backlash..

‘Speed on green’ cameras linked to rear-end crashes.  Arizona cities, one of the first cities to bring in such technology says the cameras decrease speeding and dangerous collisions, but can increase the number of rear-end crashes. But of course the money hungry police of Calgary had denied this.

ANOTHER CASH GRAB.. The Calgary Parking Authority is expanding its hold on the inner city by starting to charge for parking on more than 20 blocks of the Beltline.

CALGARY AND EDMONTON POLICE ISSUE MORE TRAFFIC TICKETS OVER ANY OTHER CITIES  IN CANADA AND  FOR DECADES NOW TOO!

Anyone who thinks the cops here are being honest, serving the public is a fool..

Here is what I found amazing and worth while examining now  in much more detail.. insurance companies in Canada do not mind gouging Canadian consumers in their greed to make more profits..  and we all know that accumulating speeding , traffic infractions, will cause your car insurance costs to go up significantly…   and yet here is what I find surprising, neither the insurance companies, the provincial government, nor the federal government, the police have real, valid detailed statistics on the causes of traffic accidents: such as how many were caused my alcoholic drivers, how many were caused by speeding, how many were caused by poor road conditions, lousy snow clearing as well, etc not even in Ontario, Alberta, Quebec, BC as well.. …. so what do the insurance companies do with all the extra money they collect, certainly they of all persons should have firstly the best statistics on traffic accidents now in the first place, or how do they determine their rates??? Even Canada’s police chiefs have to rely on accident statistics from other countries, such as Australia, Great Britain, the US..

No  matter how that dirty RCMP weasel spins the facts, tries to weasel out of the truth, the RCMP was clearly wrong on many counts in the Taser death of a polish immigrant at the Vancouver airport.. they were uncompassionate, inconsiderate, used more restraining force than was necessary, and they next also clearly lied to cover-up their own immoral acts, and many times as well, They slander a good man in the process as well.. and so none of this was, is acceptable or forgivable.. none  of it.
http://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2009/04/21/the-mickey-mouse-rcmp-in-canada

So still now  what really is needed  firstly is not more CHEAP, PRETENTIOUS  self regulations,   the supposed discipline of their members , or even their ensuring their education, but real INSPECTIONS, EFFECTIVENESS , competency testing.

For it is a fact that anything that will put a self regulating body or a Ministry into a negative light will have a built in  tendency still to be denied,   suppressed, minimized in reality, to be ineffective .

There in reality is the main  one important step that all consumers can take to protect themselves from any unscrupulous persons  and that is enforced, exemplary public exposure and prosecution of the supposedly guilty persons by a recognized judicial public body,  and so now how many such bad persons now have really been exposed, prosecuted in the last few years in reality too by the responsible Ministers as well?  None? and why not?

Exemplary Public exposure and prosecution of the guilty serves very ones best interest… too often still missing in the PROFESSIONAL BODIES, EVEN IN THE RCMP, police   forces, churches, ALL GOVERNMENTS  as well it seems too.

THE POLICE, RCMP, MINISTERS, GOVERNMENT CONSULTANTS THESE DAYS, IMMIGRANT CONSULTANTS TOO  IT SEEMS , SEEM TO BE ANOTHER WORD FOR ABUSERS, THIEVES, LIARS CROOKS. SO WE ALL NEED TO DEAL WITH IT MORE EFFECTIVELY NOW TOO.

Alberta’s crooked cops, RCMP included

for the Majority of cars are safer and  can take higher speeds safely over a deacde ago

HEY I ONCE HAD WRITTEN A LONG TIME AGO THAT THE TOO OFTEN SELF CENTERED, PROUD PEOPLE OF ALBERTA DO REALLY NEED TO STOP BASHING THE POOR PEOPLE, AND THOSE ON SOCIAL AID, FOR A DAY WILL COME THAT THEY TOO WILL BE NEEDING SOCIAL AID AND THAT DAY HAS COME..

I now live all the way  in the Quebec  but lately I have often seen searches done on my site about what can a person  do about bad cops and their false speeding, revenue generating tickets in Edmonton, and in Alberta.. what??   write to the politicians and news editors firstly, tell them why it is perverse for  decades now in Alberta this has been a false police empire build scheme, police job preservation program..

15 YEARS IN ALBERTA AND I GOT LOADS OF CALGARY SPEEDING TICKETS, 3 IN A ROW FROM THE SAME COP, TWICE IN CANMORE ON THE SAME SPOT TOO, AND NEXT 15 YEARS IN QUEBEC I GOT NO TICKETS AT ALL. Why the difference?.. politcal bosses are different. Conservative vs Liberal.

More crap from the Alberta Police too.. Since January 2O08, RCMP and provincial sheriffs have issued more than 2,000 speeding tickets to people driving on Highway 63, including 363 tickets over the weekend. Political and labour leaders have been lobbying the Alberta government for years to twin the highway between Edmonton and the Fort McMurray area. While some work is underway, most of the money is being spent on highway work north of the oilsands capital. Bellows said the entire highway would be safe if motorists just obeyed the speed limit. “We are frustrated,” he said. “Just slow down and relax. You will get there safe.”  Meanwhile, leadfoot drivers are also a problem on highways through Banff National Park.  RCMP report that officers issued 115 speeding tickets over the weekend between Lake Louise and the Jasper National Park Boundary. In some cases drivers along Highway 93 were clocked going more than 60 km over the posted speed limit. ( Revenue generating ) Speed limits in the mountain parks are set with an eye toward preventing collisions with wildlife. ( and how often does that occur?) RCMP in the Peace River area said even when police warn motorists about speed traps some drivers continue to drive faster than the posted limit. ..

RCMP like to give speed tickets when you are leaving the park, not entering it too.. and I got 2 speeding tickets on the same spot in Canmore ten years apart too… and the second time I went to court and rightfully fought the dirty RCMP too.

In reality the too often self serving, money hungry, promotional and empire oriented police, and their superiors, bad justice ministers, bad politicians  really do not care about the citizens good welfare but only their own..

Honking, fist-shaking, screaming, obnoxious drivers: the symptoms of road rage.    Insurance Corporation of British Columbia  Psychologist John Vavrik, who studies driving behaviour for ICBC, says road rage can be better understood as “aggressive driving spectrum disorder.” According to Vavrik, road rage can take many forms.  “There’s not a clean definition of it. It’s basically an aggressive act aimed at hurting somebody or sending a message to somebody,” Vavrik said.  “The people most at risk of engaging in these behaviours are the least likely to control their behaviour,” he said. “They have low emotional intelligence. They don’t have the tools or skills or strategy to manage their emotions.  “In those extreme cases, we’re talking about sociopathic issues. The driver’s a walking time bomb.”  According to Vavrik, “road-ragers” are generally underachievers, individuals who lack assertiveness and control, and do not have the status in life they desire.  He said the “depersonalized space” of a vehicle is a trigger to road rage, as is an unexpected traffic delay, such as that caused by a slow driver, or being stuck behind an idle bus.

http://www.timescolonist.com/Road+ragers+generally+underachievers+psychologist/1443637/story.html

UK  ” official statistics showed that only five per cent of crashes are caused by drivers breaking the speed limit. Drivers who let their attention wander cause more than six times as many accidents.” Driver error accounted for 66 per cent of accidents.. and add the road rage, impaired, drunk drivers, bad poorly maintained vehicles to that too .. Most reasonable and reasoning people have seen the folly of speed cameras for decades now too.

Now I have said it for over 3 decades in wrting to all too so Call it what you want but it is not about public safety, for it is  a self employment, empire  building, false money grab, revenue generation, hidden taxes.. for if  the cops, the mad RCMP  were now really worried about public safety THEY WOULD FIRSTLY ARREST THEIR OWN KIND, THE BAD COPS WHO OFTEN DRIVE HOME DRUNK AFTER WORK, COMING HOME FROM THE POLICE TAVERN, and they would ALSO go after the people who drive reckless, fail to stop at the stop signs, traffic stop lights, and the impaired drunken drivers, the unsafe cars whose brakes are squealing cause they need to be repaired.. etc.,,

Conservative controlled Swindon Council has decided that it will no longer make it’s contribution towards the cost of speed cameras in Wiltshire, preferring instead to plough it’s £400,000 into real road safety measures. An Australian study estimates that about half of all traffic accidents in Australia may be due to road rage and most of the others related to alcohol, impaired driving and yet the police falsely tend to pursue revenue generating speeding traffic tickets still and why?

” A blatant tax on the motorist” said Cllr. Peter Greenhalgh, in charge of highways, transport and strategic planning in the town, he added

“Isn’t it better to have a road that is designed to be safe from the start, rather than sticking a camera there to catch people who may or may not be driving dangerously? We treat road safety very, very seriously but we pay about £400,000 a year to the road safety partnership – money which goes straight into the Government’s pockets.

Almost half of motorists do not think speed cameras improve road safety according to new survey results from whatcar.com.

For fatal accidents the most frequently reported contributory factor was loss of control, which was involved in 35 per cent of road deaths. Failure to look properly was the most frequently reported contributory factor and was involved in 32 per cent of all injury accidents. Five of the six most frequently reported contributory factors were some kind of driver or rider error or reaction.

How many cops in Alberta are arrested annually for drunk driving coming home after work from being at the Police Tavern too.

The money hungry Conservatives in Alberta, the Calgary and the Edmonton Police forces  and the Liberals in Ontario they can all learn from this

A study of the figures in the British Medical Journal showed a  gap between police and hospital data  showed a wide divergence in these figures   said one of the authors of the article, Mike Gill, professor of public health at Surrey University. The Police are known  to lie, and  they try to please their political bosses , to get a raise by generating revenue from traffic tickets.

The survey of the Canadian vital statistics database, made up of information from death certificates, shows that 97,964 people were killed in motor vehicle accidents during the past quarter-century. However, the annual number of deaths dropped 52 per cent to 2,875 in 2004 from 5,933 in 1979.

Nearly three-quarters of those killed in these accidents were male, and motorists at either end of the age spectrum had higher-than-average death rates.

Pedestrians accounted for 12 per cent of motor vehicle deaths, followed by motorcyclists and drivers of all-terrain and other off-road vehicles.

Elderly pedestrians were also found to be more than three times likelier than the general population to be killed in motor vehicle accidents. The study does not explain why.

Rural roads proved particularly treacherous for drivers. Sixty-two per cent of fatal collisions in 2004 took place in rural areas.

Yukon had the highest death rate at 16.4 deaths per 100,000 people. Newfoundland and Labrador and Ontario were the only two provinces and territories reporting a death rate lower than the national average of nine for every 100,000 people.

The study notes that while death rates have fallen, the ubiquitous use of cell phones and BlackBerrys while driving pose a danger to drivers.

Now we know that more people have accident due to road rage, impaired driving, driving under the influence of drugs, alcohol  over speeding too and we still do need to review how much time and resources do the police deal with that firstly? ”

Road rage is a relatively serious act; it can  be seen as a violation of human and property rights , an endangerment of  other’s personal well being, security.    Road rage is easy to convict, merely get a video camera and record the driving.. a video camera have been used successfully on bad cops, like the RCMP.

Note this important  brief introduction to road safety .. Yes  you always do have to drive safely, in control, not impaired as well and yes there are many, many different factors that now can cause a vehicular, automotive  accident, including but not limited to the actual daily road conditions, even the type of tires you have .. for  it is a fact that good tires lead to a safer drive, and so does a 4 wheel drive.  Next when you start to first drive at any day do first immediately test the road condition by coming to a planned sudden stop , and see firsthand how your car reacts accordingly.. then next do use this experience to set how you will drive the rest of the day too. And no matter what car, or tires you have, or who is the driver, if you do hit a patch of black ice, due clearly to the failure of others, such as the Governments, municipalities,  to apply salt and gravel on the icy / snowy  road, to falsely try to save money here,  it can be very, very hazardous now too. Give them a fine, ticket, they firstly do deserve it too.

Now hypothetical if you do not drive at all you are less likely   to have an   accident, assuming another driver does not hit you while walking..

Hey look at all those prosecuting municipal lawyers, cops who are claiming to be serving the public and now we get a good example of how really corrupt they themselves firstly are now..

Too many COPS, persons distort  the LAW. it’s meaning still too.

The specific  Laws are created for a reason and given a certain set of conditions and circumstances.  When the circumstances or situation are not present then the law is basically not applicable. (2 Cor 3:6 KJV)   for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

Now even in simple common sense now too all civil and public servants, managers, professionals, polticians even in Alberta need to:
-practice their profession with integrity, honesty, truthfulness and adherence to the absolute obligation to safeguard the public trust, the employer’s good reputation as well
-act according to the highest goals and visions of their organizations, professions, clients and their own consciences  in practice they also need to put their philanthropic mission above their personal gain;
-even to inspire others through their own sense of dedication and high purpose
-clearly also to also  improve their professional knowledge and skills, so that their performance will better serve all others
– demonstrate real, visible concern for the interests and well-being of all individuals affected by all of their actions
-value the privacy, freedom of choice and interests of all those affected by their actions
and also  treat all people with dignity and respect
adhere to the spirit as well as the letter of all applicable laws and regulations
– show real compliance  within their organizations adherence to all applicable laws and regulations
clearly avoid even the appearance of any criminal offense or professional misconduct, do all things above board, visibly  beyond any ill repute as well
-bring credit to their organization and    profession by their public demeanor
encourage all of their subordinates, colleagues to embrace and practice solely  ethical principles and standards
-comply with and be fully in reality aware of the codes of ethics promulgated by other professional organizations  and others

and read what I think about Alberta’s too often bad cops too…

Is 51:23 ..your tormentors {and} oppressors, those who said to you, Bow down, that we may ride {or} tread over you; and you have made your back like the ground and like the street for them to pass over.

Note the RCMP who is so ready to monitor others cannot monitor itself properly… No  matter how that dirty RCMP weasel spins the facts, tries to weasel out of the truth, the RCMP was clearly wrong on many counts in the Taser death of a polish immigrant at the Vancouver airport.. they were uncompassionate, inconsiderate, used more restraining force than was necessary, and they next also clearly lied to cover-up their own immoral acts, and many times as well, They slander a good man in the process as well.. and so none of this was, is acceptable or forgivable.. none  of it.  http://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2009/04/21/the-mickey-mouse-rcmp-in-canada

A white policeman  falsely  arrested  the renowned black scholar Henry Louis Gates Jr. in his home  Massachusetts.  Gov. Deval Patrick, once the top civil rights official in the Clinton administration and now, like Obama, the first black to hold his job, labeled Gates’s false arrest as “every black man’s nightmare.”  This also happens to many white men who oppose police brutality and injustice though, me included now, The governor told reporters: “You ought to be able to raise your voice in your own house without risk of arrest.”  and you can add to that the Natives now as well… EVEN IN Canada

Harvard scholar Henry Louis Gates Jr. had just returned from a trip overseas and, upon arriving at the property with a driver, found his front door jammed and had to force it open. By the time police arrived at the house, he and the driver had managed to get inside the property. According to police, Prof Gates shouted at the officer and accused him of racial bias. Police Officers were called to Prof Gates’s house after a woman reported seeing two black males – the professor and his driver – trying to force entry.  Prof Gates was still falsely arrested outside his home after providing the officer with identification.

As the court records will show I also was arrested and fined in the Calgary Chief of police office cause I had said out loud rightfully you cops are crooked..
In general in the more   liberal society of Canada both the wife and the children tend to have much more freedom, rights, make their own decisions,  over many other countries , Such as central and eastern Europe, Russia, Asia, Africa  and as a result the culture shock after moving to Canada can be  a very real problem for some new immigrant husbands  where the husband sees his family role as being obeyed, and being the sole head of the home.   Thus  it’s not altogether uncommon for some of the new Canadian immigrant  home situations to become  unacceptably violent when the dominate husband feels his authority is being undermined.  Wife beatings as a result are common, and children who witness it are severely traumatized, can develop both bitterness and hatred. And it tends to make  the home matters worse where the husband now is also an alcoholic on top of all that.

In reality too Cops are not the only one who resort to violence when their authority is threatened, so do some bad pastors now too..

and we all should by now know the RCMP also do lie.. the actual number of unsolved criminal cases would be a lot higher if the police actually investigated all the citizen report they do receive. I have sat in police stations and watched the police lie and refuse complaints brought to them by the other citizens too… never mind those phoned in.

I think only one of over 5 criminal  complaints about the criminal abuse of me or others was ever reviewed with even, and even that one took months of complaining to the police.. and that was the charge of physical assault of me by  a rogue Pentecostal pastor who punched me , in front of a witness, cause I had refused to go to his church.

In Alberta the police came  to my home to discourage me from writing to the news editors.. well I am still wrting decades later too.

Alberta Today, Beware always of the much too many   men and women, liars, bullies, tormentors, control freaks,  persons, civil and public servants,  politicians, pastors, leaders, elders, who falsely do, will try to enslave you, oppress you, exploit you even while they claim they are proclaiming the truth, democracy, trying to help you, etc.,

Copy to Canada’s major news editors..

PS: Here is what I know for sure in Canada proper policing, management ,  supervision  human rights commissions are a real fact of life, society, in schools, life,  in churches, governments, commerce, institutions, civil and public services, professional services too,  and elsewhere, even on the net,  for you will always have those 30 percent at least of the persons who will try to cheat, lie  , steal, bend the rules, falsely believe they are above the laws, Self  regulation alone is too often pretentious, farcical, often not applied as well. Subject: RE: Albertan Gov’t peddles fear to make us buy cuts

Premier Stelmach forwarded your July 2, 2009 e-mail regarding government spending.  Our Premier has reviewed your comments and asked me, as Minister of Finance and Enterprise, to respond on behalf of the Government of Alberta.

While Alberta, like the rest of the world, is facing significant economic challenges, our government has a plan that builds on Alberta’s strength and positions the province well, economically.  As part of the Alberta government’s four-point plan to support Alberta’s economy, the province will draw down short-term savings to protect the programs and services Albertans depend on as outlined in Budget 2009

Prudent actions taken by government over the last 16 years have provided the province with some flexibility.  By paying off accumulated debt, billions of dollars have been made available for spending and saving that otherwise would have gone to interest costs.  Alberta has also set aside approximately $25 billion in short and long-term savings, primarily since 2003, in various funds and accounts, including the Sustainability Fund, the Heritage Savings Fund and endowments.

In Budget 2009

, the government has increased operating spending by 3.7 per cent, or $1.1 billion, to $31.2 billion in 2009/2010.  This reflects population growth and inflation at the time the targets were set, and will go towards priority areas like health, education and helping those in need.  In addition to the operating spending increase, government will work to identify $215 million in value review savings in 2009/2010, by evaluating programs and services and looking for opportunities to eliminate duplication, reduce administrative or regulatory requirements, or streamline operations.
Increased spending in priority areas allows the government to continue to provide programs and services to a growing population.  This includes increasing funding for Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped recipients, seniors, and supports to persons with developmental disabilities through an 8.7 per cent operating expense increase to the Ministry of Seniors and Community Supports.
Moving forward, the Government of Alberta will carefully manage spending to get the best value for Albertans’ tax dollars.  This includes investing in infrastructure, which is an effective way for government to support the economy and keep Albertans working.  Over the coming years, the Capital Plan supports a record $23.2 billion in infrastructure projects, which includes spending on highways, hospitals and schools.  This is more than double the per capita average of what other provinces have been spending.
Thank you for your e-mail and for taking the time to share your concerns.
Sincerely yours,
Iris Evans
Minister, Finance and Enterprise
