1 Peter 5 :8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your  adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may  devour:9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions  are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.10 But the God of all  grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye  have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. 11 To  him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

The CANADIAN conservative federal government itself rarely it seems takes the proper lead, leadership now too. Prime Minister Stephen  Harper has never formed a majority government yet Canada’s prime Minister himself Stephen  Harper,  Harper has been drooling for his majority now for many  years, the leader claims to have a majority government and he now disregards the majority of the Members of Parliament, and the citizens of Canada’s wishes, desires too,  he is still  running his minority Parliament as if he were the leader of a majority, tends to bury religious beliefs to win a hopeful real majority government not surprisingly thus  failed again in an attempt to  win a majority government.  As we are well aware, mo one is are not going to form a majority federal government with the majority support of the citizens of both Quebec and Ontario also now. You next cannot hope to have a majority government as Harper keeps on finding by failing to look after the good welfare of all the citizens of Canada. Beating on minorities really doesn’t make a majority government more possible.  A bad Conservative for many in Canada  is just as disgusting as a bad Lieberal. You can really tell as to how bad they are firstly by how they respond to the citizens letters mailed  to them as well.

Someone representing the  Conservative Party of Canada came to my home, note to my home, and said to me he was here to get me to vote for Stephen Harper and the Conservatives. He next had refused to answer any of my questions firstly.  I had asked him if it was true that Stephen Harper gave bottles of wine and wine glasses to the Prime Minister of Australia. I asked him also if he Stephen Harper professes to be an evangelical Christian of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church now too? No answer. I asked him how could a born again professing evangelical like Stephen Harper be giving out alcohol to others when it is clearly a historical, general, accepted biblical fact that fundamental evangelicals are abstainers and do not drink wine, alcohol now? The Canadian federal Conservative Party supporter he lied and said that what I said about Stephen Harper was not true. Stephen Harper was good person. The Conservative party supporter he next started to lecture me as to how and what I there could and could not talk about now to him . I next told him that he was standing on my property falsely lecturing me, dictating to me  as to what I cannot  talk about, what I cannot do even in my own home,  dream on! I asked him directly was  he now also   another despotic dictator like the established fact, behavior of the prime minister of Canada, Stephen Harper. He the  clearly red necked Conservative party supporter then turned red with embracement and rudely said he has to leave and immediately departed with his tail between his legs without still  answering one question of mine to him too.  He the Conservative party supporter wants me to support this bad political Conservative party now when I see firsthand how he  even lies, abused me in my own home too? Dream on.
3 of my neighbors I had talked with directly today said they would vote for none of the parties for they are all equally bad, even those who had voted Conservative before too

Needless to say the Conservatives lost heavily in my riding and rightfully so..

Control freaks Conservatives .. ‘Keep them out!’ Mounties stop media from asking Tory questions
OTTAWA — It’s a blurry, democratically dangerous no-man’s-land that governments and RCMP spokespeople do not like to publicly explore. The line between legitimate RCMP security duties and the media management imperatives of a politically sensitive Prime Minister’s Office appeared to be scuffed once again this week on the election trail. Mounties protecting Prime Minister Stephen Harper during a campaign event in Surrey, B.C., were ordered Tuesday evening to stop reporters from approaching a high-profile Tory candidate. “Keep them out,” Harper aide Ray Novak shouted at the RCMP security detail as journalists approached Dona Cadman. CTV’s Rosemary Thompson was literally yanked aside by one Mountie as she approached the retreating group – which did not include the prime minister.
Cadman, a Conservative candidate, is famous for sparking bribery allegations against her party by telling a journalist last year that her dying husband, former Reform and Independent MP Chuck Cadman, claimed to have been offered a million-dollar insurance policy to change his vote in Parliament. It’s an unresolved storyline the Conservatives, understandably, don’t want pursued during an election campaign. Cadman, who has dodged questions from the national media before in the campaign, told a local community newspaper Wednesday she’s concentrating on her own back yard. “We’re talking to the local media, which is much more important than going national or regional,” she said. The incident followed an earlier episode in the campaign’s first week when the RCMP was employed to thwart a CTV camera crew in St. Eustache, Que., on the day the Tories suspended campaign spokesman Ryan Sparrow. “I want that camera out of there,” Harper spokeswoman Carolyn Stewart Olsen told a Mountie, who somewhat apologetically obliged. But is it within the RCMP’s mandate to stop the media from doing its job?
Several officers matter-of-factly said they were acting on orders from the PMO – although the official RCMP line, delivered after the incident became a major media story, was that hotel management sought the eviction. Many on Parliament Hill believe the PMO’s use of RCMP security to thwart reporters has increased under a Harper government that is obsessed with communications control. Stories abound, for instance, of security officers stopping camera cut-away shots from non-PMO-approved positions. But the most infamous case of RCMP deploying its resources for essentially communications reasons came under the watch of former Liberal prime minister Jean Chretien at the 1997 APEC summit in Vancouver. An inquiry into the pepper-spraying of protesters concluded that the Mounties had “succumbed to government influence and intrusion in an area where such influence and intrusion were inappropriate.” Testimony at the inquiry suggested government officials were consumed with the poor optics of large demonstrations. “By whatever educational or other communications means available, the RCMP must instill in its officers … that they are to brook no intrusion or interference whatever from government officials,” inquiry commissioner Ted Hughes concluded. It would appear to be an inquiry forgotten not just by the Mounties and current government, but by the Liberals in opposition.
The Liberal campaign war-room issued a news release Wednesday decrying Tory heavy-handedness. “The job of the RCMP is not to prevent the Conservative party from being embarrassed,” said the Liberal party release. “They are there to protect the prime minister against genuine physical threats and they should never be used as a political tool.” http://canadianpress.google.com/article/ALeqM5g6YesTXAYfsanGLSDxXgDxHF_vWw
We already know what a liar, dictator, control freak  the PM is..

Seems he wants power so much he sells even his soul to the Devil..

“With the Liberal party emasculated and the left wing vote split among three parties, the Conservatives should be well into majority territory by this point in the campaign. It should be a cake-walk.

However, while support for the Conservatives has, at times, touched on the benchmark 40 per cent level typically required for a majority government, the party’s numbers remain stubbornly in minority territory.

The reasons are not clear, but it does appear that Canadians are not yet comfortable with giving Stephen Harper a majority mandate.

The most recent Canadian Press Harris-Decima poll has 43 per cent of respondents reporting they have a positive impression of Harper, which is 10 points lower than the beginning of the campaign. (Liberal leader Stephane Dion’s favourable impression remains level at 32 per cent.) Nationally, the Conservatives have the support of 37 per cent of respondents, while the Liberals are at 24 per cent, the NDP at 18 and the Greens are at 10 per cent.

What is it about Harper that results in a less favourable impression of him the more Canadians see of him? Didn’t they like the nice fluffy vests? The musings about family life? The professed love of piano music?

It seems that Canadians are uneasy about a possible mean streak that Harper is keeping hidden, one that could result in a governing climate along the controversial Mike Harris PCs in Ontario in the 1990s.

Harper has flashed evidence of such a trait in his battles with the media. And — locally at least — there is evidence that dissent will not be tolerated. Resistance, even among his own party, is apparently futile.

After Radio-Canada broadcast an interview Sept. 18 with Sudbury Conservative candidate Gerry Labelle, he issued a press release the same day recanting some statements, offering a “complete retraction” and pledging his full support to “Prime Minister Stephen Harper, his cabinet and this Conservative government.” Labelle’s statement read more like a capitulation than a retraction.”  http://www.thesudburystar.com/ArticleDisplay.aspx?e=1222777

CALGARY – Opposition parties are demanding Calgary Conservative incumbent
Lee Richardson immediately resign for controversial comments that suggested
immigrants are to blame for much of the crime in Canada.

In an interview with a Calgary weekly newspaper published Thursday,  Richardson is quoted as saying many crimes aren’t committed by people who  “grew up next door” and immigrants aren’t as law-abiding.  “Particularly in  big cities, we’ve got people that have grown up in a different culture, and  they don’t have the same background in terms of the stable communities we  had 20, 30 years ago in our cities . . . and don’t have the same respect for  authority or people’s person or property,” Richardson told Fast Forward  Weekly, when asked about recent gun violence in Calgary.  “Talk to the  police. Look at who’s committing these crimes,” added Richardson, the Tory  candidate in Calgary Centre. “They’re not the kid that grew up next door.” Richardson later said he regretted the comments and that he misspoke.  Calgary Centre NDP candidate Tyler Kinch immediately demanded that  Richardson resign from the campaign, or that Conservative Leader Stephen  Harper fire him – a sentiment also shared by the federal Liberals.   “We  must expect more out of our community leaders,” Kinch told reporters on  Thursday. “Mr. Richardson’s comments are hurtful, unfair, untrue and  unproductive . . . Lee Richardson must resign.” Liberal public safety critic  Ujjal Dosanjh called Richardson’s comments “disgraceful” and urged Harper to  turf him.  “If Prime Minister Harper does not take action and fire his  candidate one can only assume he condones such attitudes. It’s clear that  the old Reform Party view towards immigration is still alive and well in  this Conservative party,” Dosanjh said in a statement. http://www.canada.com/topics/news/features/decisioncanada/story.html?id=0add4a8f-03ee-48dd-9538-dd4d3762d395
The liar and the liars would falsely have you believe that there was no crime in Alberta before the immigrants came.. Rememeber that one of the first RCMP outpost in Canada historcially was in Calgary, Alberta the major home of crooks, thieves, cattle rustlers. Now it is the home of drug pushers, car thieves, white collar criminals.
The majority of Albertan citizens should resign, for supporting MP   Richardson’s views, it is clear that 70 percent of Albertan are not only self centered, selfish, but yes racists as well.. while Albertan’s claim to be Albertan most of them are new immigrants from other part of Canada, the world, including the Prime Minister of Canada now himself, Stephen Harper, and they  all in greed mostly have come to Alberta seeking jobs because of Alberta oil  and gas supplies.. but few get rich for the cost of living is too high.. https://postedat.wordpress.com/2008/06/27/how-many-rich-people-in-calgary-edmonton-alberta/

Reality today is that  besides cheap words, more likely broken promises, useless   Canada’s  pretentious Ostrich Conservative Finance Minister  Flaherty still presently offers no viable, real, effective solutions to help the thousands already laid off, and Canada’s present economic meltdown, the people also who will lose their homes due to foreclosures too.

Clinton hesitant to call Obama a ‘great man’

Bill Clinton said he wasn’t ready to call Obama a ‘great man’.

(CNN)– Former President Bill Clinton was hesitant to characterize Barack Obama as a “great man” Sunday, a phrase he had no qualms using last week to describe Obama’s rival John McCain.

Clinton told NBC’s Tom Brokaw that it was only earlier this month in Harlem that he and Obama had their “first conversation.”

Clinton then explained what he meant in characterizing McCain as a “great man.”

“I think his greatness is that he keeps trying to come back to service without ever asking people to cut him any slack or feel sorry for him or any of that stuff because he was a POW,” Clinton said of the Republican presidential nominee.

Clinton, who successfully ran his own 1992 presidential campaign on the now commonly used phrase “it’s the economy, stupid,” said that he believed the current economic crisis “left [Obama] in a position of leadership that he’s now in.”

Clinton said he and Obama are developing a “really good relationship,” and the Democratic nominee has the potential for greatness. Explaining, he said Obama has many personal accomplishments, but none that exemplify his greatness to the country.

“When he becomes president, he’ll be doing things for the American people and for the world and he is-and the greatness will then become apparent because of the good he’ll do…That’s what I very much believe is going to happen.”

Some have questioned Bill Clinton’s support for Obama following the protracted primary battle between the Illinois senator and Hillary Clinton. The former president praised Obama during his speech at the Democratic National Convention and declared Obama “ready to be president of the United States,” as both sides tried to bring an end to the “Clinton-Obama rift” storyline.

Clinton himself was among the most outspoken critics of Obama’s readiness during the primary season.

The reason it has taken him so long to hit the trail for Obama was the need for him to return to work on his foundation after the long primary season, Clinton explained Sunday.

He is expected to campaign for Obama in Florida, Ohio, northeast Pennsylvania, and Nevada after the Jewish holidays.

“I’m going to do my very best to do every single thing he asks me to do,” Clinton said.
